Ive increased the rating due to a phone call from Jose Nunez at Impact. He was very professional and understanding and did his best to remedy the situation, however I wont order again from this site. Thank you to Jose for reaching out and doing his best to represent Impact in a positive way vs the other 2 employees I had the unfortunate luck in dealing with.Buyer beware! Worst company to deal with! Ordered a specific item online, the site stated was in stock. Chatted with a customer service rep to verify the item was in stock and I would receive the item ordered. When I received my order, it was not what I ordered. Tried chatting with Ralph, Sales Manager online and he was very rude and unprofessional. Instead of admitting what they did was a bait in switch, he said things like close your eyes and its the same, it one companys fruitloop product vs. another. Seriously?! Called the customer service line and spoke to some woman who didnt seem to care. Took asking her several times to answer my questions, which was, did they have the part in stock that I ordered? The answer is no, even though the site states it does. Be aware, theyll send you something that will work good enough, but not what you order.

Canadian Customer: I needed a replacement monitor for an old laptop couldnt locate one in Canada at a reasonable price. Impact Computers & Electronics had a reconditioned one for less than US$100. I read some worrying reviews online but also some considered and detailed positive ones and decided to try. I had to call the help line when something glitched right at the end of the payment process and they were helpful and confirmed the order had been placed and the payment had gone through. Everything else worked out well. The international shipping via Fedex makes the duty payments easy, they call you so that the package isnt delayed more than necessary at the border. The part arrived on time, was easy to install and works perfectly. Nice job. I will definitely use in future if I cant source parts locally.

Ralph and the team at Impact Computers were incredible. I placed an order and quickly received an update and check in from their team. A few days later I received another update while their business was stuck waiting for a new shipment of batteries to arrive. They gave me options and reordered for me when the new batteries came in. I then received another update about the shipping status and received responses to my emails (four of them) the same day I sent each one. Its hard to find good customer service like this nowadays and I wanted to make sure others knew just how much I appreciated the interactions and experience from Impact.

Been ordering from these guys for 10+ years. Ive only called two or three times and recently spoke with Alexa, who helped me with a difficult HP LCD assembly replacement. She was right on the money. Still the card was good and compatible with my Lenovo laptop.I contacted them, direct and via Paypal, we straight up the mistake they refund in full! my order and I had to keep the card they sent me.Again went back and order another possible card, that they had in stock and compatible with my laptop. I didn’t want to leave any stars but unfortunately it won’t let me submit a review with zero stars but that is what this company deserves! This company is horrible. We ordered a part in March. We received it but then a month later, they fraudulently charged my card again without ordering anything. This put my account they used in the negative. We called and spoke with two people and they said it would be taken care of immediately, it wasn’t, which caused my account to accrue an overdraft charge. When I called two days later they said it would be taken care of and I would be refunded the $40 overdraft fee. This never happened. We also said to remove our card from their system, well they lied and today my card was charged again!!!!!!! Don’t ever use this company, they are fraudulent liars and will take your card once and then repeatedly charge it without your permission or purchase!!! Horrible company!!!!

I ordered an HP laptop battery but was disappointed to see I was sent a different substituted one. I really wanted an original after having bad experiences with non-genuine hp laptop batteries so I called to ask for a refund. They promptly refunded the full amount (including shipping charges) and even let me keep the substitute encouraging me to try it. I was pleasantly surprised I wouldnt have to go through the hassle of returning the product and would definitely come back for any parts I need in the future. They didnt need to do that and Ive never had an issue dealt with so quickly.

Prompt service and great price IF they send you the correct product. I am not a technical person but when a technical person installs a part on your computer and tells you that your new touchscreen digitizer does not actually have touchscreen capability then you go back to the supplier ..Right? I did not have my laptop repaired right away. If I could afford to have it fixed at the time I received the part then I could have purchased a new one. It was Christmas time and I had limited funds. I contacted their customer service and within seconds the Sales Manager told me that I had waited too long to get back with them. Yes, it is a long time, however, receiving a part that was presented to me as exactly what I ordered and it was not leaves room for some sort of reciprocation from the person who did not hold up to their end of the bargain. He answered so quickly without taking any time to even try and see what happened. I guess I should have listened to the other reviews located elsewhere besides here.

Bought a DELL old laptop computer battery REFURBISHED......sounds suspicious since in my 50 + years of electronic business I never heard to refurbish a sealed Li-Ion battery. (regenerate in some cases)Anyway I received the part, installed in my laptop, waited 24 hours....the battery didnt charge.Informed IMPACT which sent me a replacement and told me I do NOT need to send back the defective battery. By curiosity I went to the lab and open (remove the plastic cover) and found right away a cell completely corroded an still leaking. !! (so much for the refurbish)I discarded the battery since there are strict laws about shipping/disposing batteries even more Li-Ion.I informed Impact of my finding.Installed the second battery...guess what.... do not work either. No way to charge.Open the plastic cover and did a individual cell charging and load. Half of the cells are dead and the other half not far behind.Informed Impact of my finding.Impact informed me that they will refund the battery cost $19.95 ( not the S&H !) if I send back BOTH defective parts.Of course since I do not have anymore the first I cannot send it back .....so they gave me a RMA which says the first battery was to be returned too.........to cut short and limit my damages I told to them to keep the $ 19.95 and I will keep the second battery as door stop.

So...I blew a power supply on my work PC on Monday. I promptly ordered a replacement from Dell (at twice the price), who on Tuesday sent an order confirmation that it would not ship for 7 days. After cancelling the order, I did a Google search for the power supply, and came across Impact Computers at 4 pm on Tuesday.I placed a quick phone call and was almost immediately connected to a real person (which is rare these days). I needed an internal battery for my Samsung laptop. Local “fixit” shop wanted $249 ($120 for the genuine Samsung battery and $129 to install)! This was a hard to find battery, with long shipping times from China (a month or more).I found Impact Computers online, and it said they had the battery I needed. Called them at 4:45. The guy said he had the battery, and if I ordered within the next 15 minutes he’d get it to me the next day ... for $75, shipping included! I received the battery at 1:00 the next afternoon. Unbelievable price and even better customer service. I saved $175 by ordering from Impact and doing a 5 minute install. Thank you!!

My computer (Lenovo Yoga 900-13ISK) was dead and I needed to replace the motherboard which I found priced at $250 – $350 on most websites but at only $144 on Impact Computers. I was skeptical but decided to order it and since parts were so cheap, I also ordered a new battery, a new thermal module (+ 2 fans) and a new power socket. It was a total of $200 for the four components. I placed my order last Saturday and called them on Monday to confirm the order, which they did (very friendly btw) and I received it less than 48h later. Not only were the parts in pristine condition, it was superbly well-packed, so much so that I was truly impressed. I proceeded to replace the old parts on my computer and everything was perfect. I am now writing this review from my newly fixed computer.I saw that the company had bad reviews but since I am so amazed by how good everything has been for me, I felt the need to leave a review praising them for the good service. $200 for FOUR parts INCLUDING a motherboard and a battery, shipped in less than 2 days and so neatly packed… I don’t know what to say. I went to impact to buy a new charger as mine had not been working. After I was about to buy a new one for 45$ they diagnosed the probelm as the power cord and gave it to me for free! They also gave me a mug and a mouse pad for free! Now thats putting the customer first. I will go back 100% for any more of my computer needs.

I received an old all in one printer from my Grandparents and I have been looking for a power cord/ac adapter for it for ages. Staples, office max, office depot, best buy, walmart, radio shack, and even the manufacturer hp didnt have the right one. Have had nothing but issues with these guys for over a 2 almost 3 year period where we had to return little less than half of what we ordered because of issues with the orders; wrong part, not as described, not what was pictured, etc.But we decided to give them another chance after not ordering for a year and ordered an expedited part. They canceled the order without any notification and then when we called to inquire as to what was going on, they said we had been banned since last year.Apparently after posting a review of a bad experience last year (which we actually took down), they decided to block my company from placing any future orders because of said review. They didnt try to rectify anything, make things right, nadda. In fact they threw in my face that folks buy 500 parcel orders without issue but is most likely parts like RAM and not very small/specific laptop parts poorly described on their site and have to return because they ARE NOT what I was expecting; or just dont work.Dont get me wrong, I have ordered parts successfully from them in the past and even with my issues decided to come back.But if it doesnt work out or there is any issue? They dont care about you as a customer or even as a small businesses. They even threw in my face that I didnt order much and had to return half the items!!! Which was all due to issues withTHEM sending the wrong part, sending what was not described/ not pictured, etc. BUYER BEWARE!

I thought it was over!!!! I was probably this close *insert photo of my hand with my index finger and my thumb skin to skin* to throwing away my computer. You have no idea how long I was on the phone with Toshiba support about my laptop giving me problems. After I spoke to some gentleman in Jamaica (extremely heavy accent) I was finally referred my him to Impact Computers and Electronics. My order was placed, and I received the part in a couple of days. Im not one to comment or post reviews for companies because I think its time consuming, but I had to share the excitement. Thanks to Impact Computers, and some friendly employee named Ralph from there, I was able to replace the system-board that needed replacing, and my laptop is working like a racehorse. I have a gambling problem, so I wont bet that it will beat your computer though!

Before purchasing the part online, i gave them a call to make sure they had the part in stock. I was advised the it would be pre order just as mentioned on the website. Guess what happened? My order was canceled the next day with a lame excuse that the item was back-ordered. I called them back and now a different person admits that the reason why it was canceled was because it was a different price online than what they actually can get the part for. Shady business. A one stop shop. Not only do they sell parts but they also service OKI Data printers. I brought my printer over because I had warranty with OKI Data, and the company (Oki) recommended Impact. Its funny because Ive been doing business with Impact over 2 years already, and had no idea I can get the printer serviced there. Ralph is extremely knowledgeable and had the printer ready in about 10 minutes

Bait and switch. They write good reviews all over sites to make themselves look good. Bought a Li-Iom battery from them. They sent me a broken one. Told me I could keep it since it was broken and they didnt want it back. I took it apart to see what was wrong. Many cells were completely dead (worn out) and two had actually come loose from their connectors. The second one they sent was a Ni-MH battery. Completely incompatible with my laptop. They did not give me my money back until I posted the email I sent them through a message on eBay. They called me a scam to my face and in public. I went into this place looking for a replacement screen for my Iphone 4 that i dropped and i came out with a repaired Iphone that i didnt have to do myself. Apparently these guys do phone and computer repairs and are extremely fast as i tested my theory by bringing my damaged macbook. I gave them the machine in the morning and i had it in my possesion in the afternoon. I love this place and how fast they are im going to continue bringing my electronics to this place when they break ( i have kids they tend to break things lol )

This is the WORST company to do business with. Ive ordered something from them two times and they screwed up my order both times - 2012 and 2015. I just ordered a part on 3-9-15 in the early afternoon. Later that day the status stated -processed, will ship today. Two days later the status hadnt changed. I called on 3-11 to find out and was told it would ship that day and upgraded my shipping. The next day, 3-12, I get an email saying, Sorry, that item is on back order and dont when it will come in, and gave me a refund. Meanwhile, I lost a customer and Yuri didnt care and didnt want to help me. He just laughed and said, Sorry nothing we can do. This is typical of their customer service. This is a Mickey Mouse operation. They never know what they have in stock. Theyre just guessing. DO NOT ORDER from them. They will just mess it up
