I would leave 0 stars if it were an option! I made an appointment for 6:00pm, arrived at 5:45 and was informed everyone in the service department had gone home at 4:30. I had driven 30 minutes one way so I wasted an hour of my day not to mention my gas. I was unhappy to say the least and ask to speak to a manager. She said sorry that happened, I can schedule you a new appointment. She didnt seemed concerned or even ask what she could do to make it right. Bottom of the barrel customer service right there and no I wont be making another appointment there ever.

I wish i could give them zero stars. The short lady who is their “service manager” knows nothing about cars and will refuse to do anything that doesn’t make sense to her. First time I came here they said that my winter tires were a different size than my year round tires and refused to change them out which is blatantly untrue. Most recent time I was here they took almost an hour just to put a spare tire onto my car and went through the whole loop with a million things they didn’t have to do. The worst part of the whole experience is that two of their male technicians were drinking on the Walmart property and working with peoples vehicles. This shop is completely unprofessional and requires completely new management.

Went for an oil change December 19th 2020. Lady manager short fat one (dont know her name)Told me with an attitude told me you i couldnt get an oil change because my driver side window didnt work. Told them I just bought this car beater and all the other windows work just fine. Again with an attitude was told cant do nothing for me. So people dont spend your money with a company that think its ok to be shi++y to customers. Thank you walmart for instructing me to spend my money at meijers aint never gonna spend another dime here.

1/1/2021Dropped my truck off for an oil change and tires with only one person in front of us and they sent both people to lunch that where working on my truck. (They said it would only be an hour.)While we where waiting in the waiting room I watched three of the technicians stand around and talk. Two females and one male.The work started at 11:15 and it is currently 1pm and the truck is not done.Last time on come here.

Well we pulled up for an oil change, were treated rudly because we didnt pull up to the right lane. I wouldnt have minded if I would have been my mistake and I missed the sign but nope just poor management. Then we pull the right lane and the lady knowledges us and says shes be with us in a minute 20 mins later and Im still waiting. They are not busy, working on one car. I would never recommend this terribly run establishment. No customer service whatsoever.

If I could give Markus and his team a zero, I would. We sat at Walmart for three (3) hours only to be told that they could not perform the oil change and we need to take the vehicle to the last mechanic that serviced it. Markus was not only unresponsive, but he was slow and acted as if he had a higher stature than his team members and his customers. I would highly suggest you take your vehicle to another mechanic; anywhere but here.

A call to the tire center. Phone rep said we have two in our bays we can get you in. Arrived 5 min later, service manager says 12 in front and we cant get you in. I told her what I was told over the phone. She said the desk people dont communicate with the bays. She made it sound like a perpetual issue. Left!!!

There is a couple good workers that are very friendly & helpful, the rest of the dudes act like you’re not there. It usually takes at least 20 minutes for someone to come and talk to you, and they act like you’re a huge inconvenience to them the entire time. At the bare minimum it takes around 2 hours to get your oil changed.

They are very slow! I had 4 tires being put on my car. The guy taking my keys said 4 tires? Hope you have all day. Then I brought up to someone else that worked there, that I hope it doesn’t take all day. They said are automotive is very slow. So they know they are slow and ok with it. strongly do not recommend. Other customer that where there said they are know for being ridicules slow. I will not be back.

Went into Walmart 1 week ago for a basic oil change because they’re one of few places that are open on Saturdays and don’t require an appointment. I was told it would be less than $20 and take an hour or 2 because someone was ahead of me. Deal! After 3 hours of not getting a call, we were done running errands and headed back to check the status. At that time, I was told that they had tried to reach me about not having the correct oil filter for my car, though I never received a call. The tech, Marcus, said to come back 1st thing in the morning and they’d take care of it. I work during the day so I couldn’t come back until Wednesday evening. At that point I was told that they couldn’t fit me in, and that if they didn’t have my filter, that meant I had to buy my own and bring it in. At the same time, the tech Alejandro showed be the book they had to look up filters and said my car just didn’t exist, because it wasn’t in their book. Granted both techs so far were friendly, at least. Meanwhile, if you walk into the store, there is a book to look up filters that is more updated and has correct information. Fast forward to today, Saturday. We went to NAPA and bought a filter to bring back to Walmart. Brought it in and told them we wanted the basic oil change (that I’d been trying to get for a week). 3-4 hours later, again no call, so we returned. The cost (after providing my own filter) was $28.xx. When we brought up the price discrepancy, we were told that they assume that when a customer says “basic” oil change, they mean “full service”. That means they check the fluids and lights and top everything off, as well as vacuum your vehicle. I was willing to give up the fight over the extra $10 if they had vacuumed my car. But, to my disappointment, the front mats were vacuumed fairly well but the back seat area was completely untouched. So, after 1 week of attempts, a $9 oil filter, and a $28 oil change, I wasted more time and money for terrible service than I would have by going to a dealership. Never again.

Ive ordered tires twice from the online website. The first trip in to get my back two tires replaced went smoothly, I was in and out within a 30-45 minutes. This second time I went in to get my front tires replaced, it took them an hour after pulling my car in to even start working on it and another hour and 15 minutes to change out two tires. I got there at 9 with little to no line in front of me.

Went there to get a new tire, we were told it would be about 2 hours, not a problem. The problem came when a very slow moving white male mechanic seemed to be more concerned. with his coffee cup than finishing the car (that came in AFTER we did). When I asked another mechanic how much longer before our car was taken care of? He also confirmed that the black SUV that the slow mechanic was working should have been done AFTER my ONE tire was done since we were there FIRST! In the future I will refuse to not have that slow mechanic touch my car!

I love the people there, I came in for a normal oil change, he did the oil change, vacuum out my car, got something that was stuck under my car out for me, and found my missing $30, which he could have easily kept but was such a nice person, he have it back to me. I only trust my car there for oil changes.And to top it all off, he had it all done in 30 minutes, if you want excellent service there, go easily in the morning around 7:30

Pretty disappointed in Walmarts tire and lube place. We needed to get tires on one of our vehicles, so my husband has been trying to call several times over the last 2 days and no one ever answered. Called back and talked to customer service, some lady said he would get a call back within the hr. Never received a call, so drove the 30 minutes to Walmart, only to find out that the tire and lube place was closed early at 4pm. I understand being short staffed and all, but come on.. you are going to keep losing loyal customers this way. Needless to say, we took our business to BelleTire in Holland

Went there today- I have a nail in my tire and could hear the air coming out of it. Since it is Sunday this is about the only tire repair place that is open.Went inside and the worker went to go look at my tire- mind you it is raining. He said it would be about 4 hours- which I said that was okay.He comes back inside and said that he couldn’t see the nail. So, I told him I would pull it up and show him where it was and he said he doesn’t want to fix it now because he is already wet from the rain. Hoping my tire makes it until tomorrow morning. WORST costumer service I have ever experienced.

Very slow location, if youre going to have work done here its best you make plans to drop your car off and go do something for a few hours. When dropping off your car, instead of taking your information, and keys at the counter inside you have to stand in the garage where its loud, I dont know why Wal-Mart has it set up in such a way. The good thing about this place, and the reason Ive gone here before is that you dont have you stand there and listen to employees try to sell you things the entire time(my least favorite part of an oil change). The employees have always been friendly as well.

I DO NOT recommend going here for anything, yes its cheaper... But the service is terrible! They told me its first come first serve, i understand that, i was there every day of the week to get my flat tire fixed, they told me every day i went it would be at least a 4 hour wait. I go in saturday morning once they opened, what do you know, another 4 hour wait when only me and another person was there. They told me they dont do appointments, i asked how is it a 4 hour wait when its only that customer and me. He said, well we have people coming in at 8:30 to get new tires and youre not going to want to wait 4 hours just to get a flat tire fixed.

Been a customer for years, and yes they are slow. But I know that going in. I try to plan accordingly, like a 2+ hour plan. Or I stop in early, first thing in the morning so that Im likely the first in line. They do decent, slow work for a very reasonable price. If you stop in on the first day of snow, expect a long day.

Miss leading. They told me they are open till 6 to do an oil change . I got there at 4 they told me they could not do it cause they only have one tech. These people have no clue how to run a business or treat customers. I will no longer waste my time shopping at a store built on lies and deceit.

I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I came at a time when the tire shop wasnt busy, so thats something.A note: this is about the cheapest place you can get service done, which comes at a cost. For some, this will be time, others, inexperience. But if you come here to get service, understand that you arent going to the best of the best to get things done.I purchased 4 snow tires from Walmarts website and came here to get them mounted. I called before hand and they were kind and helpful on the phone. They informed me they do service on a first-come, first-served basis.You drive to the side of the store and there is a customer entrance by the tire shop. They get your information in the shop and then have a waiting room to sit in (or you can walk around the store). The seats in the waiting room are about the worst you could have (metal benches), but what can you do.No problems other than them taking a bit to get them done. Started at 3:30 with a couple people in line in front of me. Finished at 5:45.The biggest problem is perhaps understaffing, as they had plenty of room to be servicing more cars, but only 3 techs working.

Horrible place, I called 3 times to try and ask how much it cost to get a tire patched because I got a nail in my tire and they forwarded me to different places 7 times 7 different people couldnt tell me how much it cost to patch my tire... then the last person I talked to said hold on, then put me on hold for 15 seconds then hung up...

Employee I spoke to on the phone was rude and acted like I was bothering him. I ordered tires from walmarts wesbite delivered to the store. Unlike the store in Plainwell this store does not.allow appointments . So wasted my day there only to be told I dont think we are going to get to you today. Today I am going to Plainwell where they are getting me in right away. This store always seems to be dirty employees rude and very unaccommodating. I understand the reputation Walmart has but these people make no effort to change that like Plainwell does.

Lazy worker in your so called automotive center Zack who looks like he eats nothing but fast food for his 18 meals per day couldnt take 2 minutes of his time to check if the battery i purchased from your blackhole of a chain was good or not. I sat waiting for 1 hour and 45 minute. All of this time was spent PAINFULLY watching this Zack work at the slowest rate possible I timed him changing 2 wiper blades took him 18 minutes. He also informed me its not his job to assume I need assistance also not his problem if I dont know what Walmarts procedures are.This battery was bad and it needed to be changed instead of dealing with your crappy service ever again I just went to a REAL auto parts place and bought another new battery. YOU WONT EVER SEE ME IN YOUR STORE. Also I will be bubbling this up to corporate. Zack is one of those people who show up to work and do less then the minimum his so called boss was no better.
