The service completed on my Nissan was done promptly also a Salesman by the name of Marcel did a great job of explaining some of the cars to me which will lead me to purchase the car from there in the future definitely two thumbs up
Appreciated the delivery review after having the car for a couple of days, helped to answer questions on vehicle use and safety.
Ben Comai is the BEST!! Hes not pushy, hes super trustworthy, and very easy to work with. Go see him. He, and the entire team at Elhart Nissan got me into a great car with a great interest rate.Honestly cannot say enough good things. This place ROCKS!!
Made an appointment a day or 2 before and was able to get my car in early and have it done before the quoted time. The team is very nice! I originally bought my Nissan from the GR location and was not impressed with the follow up. Found this location and have been happy so far!
I was looking forward to my early morning oil change appointment at 7:30 on Friday April 30th thinking that I could get in and out quickly. One and a half hours they completed the simple oil change BUT I noticed on Monday that my car was leaking oil. I took my car to a different Nissan dealer, in Illinois, and they confirmed that the oil plug was not secured tightly so I was leaking oil all weekend driving from Michigan to Illinois. Fortunately this is not my primary service provider. Also fortunate that there was no damage to my car. I will not be back.
The customer experience was cold, hard and pretentious from the agent. I feel more valued using an automated system.
Dealership had ZERO compassion for my mother passing away during the lease terms. Offered ZERO help to resolve the lease. Tried helping a family member who has financial difficulties purchase the end of lease vehicle and they would not sell the car to that person for the end of lease term and still insisted on making more money off of my family that had already been profited off from. I would not recommend dealing with these people as they lack any sense of compassion at all and only care about lining their pockets with more profit as best that the can. I will never purchase a vehicle from this dealership again, and recommend that anyone steer clear of this group.
Service was quick and simple. Service department was very kind and welcoming!
I asked before it was even serviced about the price, and they gave me one price and when I went to pay my bill it was $30 higher than what they quoted, $40 higher than the email I received. The girl changed the price for me. The guys were goofing around and not professional when I went in.
Highly suggest Elhart for finding your next high quality car for a fair and equitable price in West Michigan. I especially advise requesting Ben Comai to best aid you in selecting the most suitable car for your needs. Excellent service and unrivaled expertise.
Service guy told me he couldnt perform a rotation on my tires because they were cupping. Wanted to sell me new tires on my truck with 18k miles on it. I told him no, and he said the technician put air in my tires. After paying for my service, I got in my truck and left. When I looked at the TPM, the tires were no where near where they should have been. All tire were about 5 PSI low, so I had to go fill them myself. Went to the tire shop and they said there was no cupping and rotated my tires.
Elhart might be a little more pricey than other places around but it’s worth it. I know when I leave there my vehicle is in great working order and everyone is so friendly.
Their website says they have fast express service with no appointment necessary. When I got there they said if I didn’t have an appointment, I would need one since they are booked for 2 weeks. Please change your website.
Came in for complementary oil change. Prompt service. Upon my request, they replaced my key fob battery and I was pleased to find out there was no charge for that either. Also.washed my car. All in.all, exemplary service. Thank you.
Tyler from service did a great job of keeping me in the loop on the status of the work being done.
I had my oil changed and tires rotated all is well thank you
Trenton, our sales associate, was absolutely awesome. He went above and beyond to ensure that our car buying experience went smoothly. I would definitely buy my next car from Elhart Nissan.
I called service to check for available recalls/warranty items for my Nissan Frontier, specifically relating to the airbag. I explained the airbag warning light is on in the truck, which was the reason I was checking for recalls. The service guy explained this may not fix the airbag warning light as it could be something else. I asked if it didnt cure the warning light, if they could look into the cause of the airbag light, which the service guy said they would do. At least that was my understanding. When I dropped off the truck, I asked if an oil change could be done and reiterated that if the recall didnt cure the airbag light, to look into the cause of the warning light. I got a ride from the courtesy driver which was nice. When the service on my truck was done, I asked if the airbag light was off after the recall, I was told no that it was a different error code. When I asked what the error code was, I was told they didnt look into it and it would be $90 to diagnose the reason for the error code. Im a bit befuddled here, as part of the reason for taking the truck in was to diagnose the airbag light which I believe I clearly asked about. And secondly, when I initially asked about looking into the light, no mention of a $90 fee was made. Ive bought or leased two trucks from Elhart, but rarely use the service department- this experience served as a good reminder why that is.
All staff members are very professional and helpful - especially in the service dept. During my last routine oil and filter change, they discovered some major repairs that needed to be done. Because it was going to take all day, they arranged for me to use a car at no expense so that I could get to my appointments during the day. I really appreciated that since I did not expect the expense and being able to have a car without additional expense helped me out. I appreciated their help. I know that its difficult to tell customers that they need to spend more money than anticipated; however, it is comforting to know that my car is fixed and I dont need to worry about being safe. Elhart Nissan, thank you for taking care of me.
Called twice for recall service never got call back. Tried to stay loyal, maybe my best xtended warranty wasn’t worth it.
We went in for an oil change just before we were heading for a trip to Florida. We were told we needed a back end alignment and 4 new tires. This was because we got rear ended months before and it didnt get fixed. Elhart was able to get our alignment done and all 4 tires ordered within 24hrs of us leaving on our trip. You guys are awesome it relieved so much stress. Thank you!
I had to get my oil changed & needed a ride back to work. The shuttle guy was apparently out still so the customer service gentleman in the service department jumped right in & took me back to work. He was very friendly & made conversation. It was nice to have someone else to talk to in this COVID world. I always have a great experience at Elhart!
It was fast and very informative on future expectations for my Nissan. Everything was very professional yet fun and upbeat.Thank you for your uplifting culture!
Buying my Nissan there was a great experience. I really enjoyed that no one was pushy or tried to hurry us. We noticed a minor issue with the car after buying it and they fixed it immediately. I appreciated Jeffs experience and his friendly approach. Thank you!
Love Elhart Nissan! Just purchased our second Murano from them and will always go there for service. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the facility and waiting areas are clean with snacks and coffee/water available. Have recommended them to friends and family.
I never thought I would be giving an unfavorable review to Elhart, not after having purchased 5 vehicles from them in the past... and I am saddened to now feel the need. But I am absolutely disappointed with them today.I was in the process of attempting to purchase a new 2020 Nissan from Elhart for use during visits to my summer Michigan residence. On June 16, I phoned the dealership and talked to both the owner and salesperson, both of whom I dealt with in my past purchases. I explained to them that I was still at my winter Hawaii home, but desired to purchased a new vehicle and have them store it for a few weeks until I could take delivery. There was a vehicle with a very specific color combination that I was interested in.Following is a detailed sequence of events. In my absence, my sister (also a past customer) test drove a vehicle for me the following day, on June 17.Shortly after she had done so I received a text from the salesperson asking if I wanted to put a deposit on the vehicle.I responded within 35 minutes requesting an out the door price. I found it incomprehensible that anyone would expect someone to put a deposit down without being given a price, especially someone with whom they did business with several times in the past.Four hours after requesting a price, I received a text from the salesperson telling me he would return to the office on Friday, June 19.I immediately, within seconds, requested a price for the second time.Nine minutes later I received a text requesting a copy of my drivers license.... which I provided 6 minutes later. At this time it was about 30 minutes prior to the dealerships closing. We were also working with a 6-hour time difference between Hawaii and Michigan.I received no additional communication that day, or on June 18, as the salesperson was not in.When the salesperson returned on June 19, he texted me saying the vehicle had sold.... after he had left for the day on June 17--the day which I requested a price, twice.I sincerely hope Jeff Elhart reads this review, because my message to him is Come on Jeff, your dealership is above treating a prior customer this way.
The seat bottom that was supposed to be installed, turned out to be an incorrect superceded part number, and the color was incorrect. The service person apolagised repeatedly, because of the 180 mile round trip I was making in vein.He said the correct part would take a few weeks, and offered me a tank of fuel, and a full detail of my vehicle,on my return to have the correct part installed.I thought this to be very thoughtful, and generous, and as always,I am very satisfied with Elhart Nissan.
Had service on my KIA. Folks there are customer focused & friendly. I waited in their nice lounge while my car was serviced. They were fast & efficient. Everyone I spoke with were friendly & helpful.
Everything was perfect. Hands down the easiest & best car buying experience Ive ever had. Brian was great and made us feel confident that we made the right choice. We definitely recommend Elhart for anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. Thanks again!!
Very knowledgable and efficient work. I really appreciate them being time conscious and not keeping me waiting unnecessarily. Very comfortable and clean environment.
The guys were great!! Got me in fast and back out even faster. My Wife lost a ring in the center console, and they got me in next day and found it within 20min.
Jeff was great! He took his time with us, we just stopped in and he made sure to give us his full attention. Let us test drive multiple cars, explained everything to us and was very helpful even after we bought the new car! Would definitely recommend him!
Absolutely the worst buying experience in over 25 years. Its been 3 months and I am still trying to get things resolved. Jeff Schapp is hands down the worst sales rep I have ever dealt with. He doesnt listen, he misrepresented the features of the vehicle, and he does not follow through with his commitments. I have also had issues with the service department. I leased my two previous vehicles from Elhart. I was so turned off with my initial interaction with Jeff that I didnt want to buy there, but Elhart was the only dealer with the vehicle I wanted. I will not be doing any further business with Elhart.
Excellent customer service and waiting area.
Jeff Schaap our sales rep did a very nice job in taking care of us. He answered all our questions. Had great follow up. He never pushed the sale, as he was more concerned in what our needs and providing a great service.
Normally my service is excellent and I get everything I request. All issues are resolved as they are found. This last time, my request was for oil change and tire rotation. When I was notified that my truck was ready, i was told they did not rotate tires as they felt they didnt need it. They were saving me money. Tires are good as I do get them rotated Everytime I get my oil changed. I was told my air filter would need to be changed next service. Paper work revealed it was bad.people are always courteous and my work is generally always well done.
I am 80 yrs. old, otherwise I would definitely purchase my next car from Elhart. By the way, a special shout out to Tyler (think that was his name) he was very pleasant, kind and took extra time to explain the necessary services that my car needed I trusted him!
My car was picked up, taken to the dealership, service performed, & returned to me in a timely manner. I was kept informed on what needed to be done throughout.
I’ve never left a review before, never really felt the need to do so “until now”. I’m a current lease holder of a Nissan rouge. I needed a pay off “current” letter from the Nissan dealer. Called a few month ago and they sent it over to me within a hour. Today I called a gentleman named (mark in finance) I believe answered. He was a complete A-hole.. Told me they don’t do that kind of stuff and I have to call Nissan, after I told him I called a few months back and they did it for me he replied “I must be mistaken”... So I asked him for a contact number and he told me he doesn’t have it and can’t look it up... I would think twice before I buy a car from this place... I also believe “mark” should get a attitude check or find a job that makes him happy...
The appointment process and the actual service went very well - really like the staff - very professional. But, as i waited out in the new car dealer area - i was appalled that the salespeople were NOT wearing face masks and most often, were only a arms length and even closer and why would a person reach out to shake hands - - a major no no. And, no hand sanitizer in the wait space.
Wonderful people and service.
Marcel was great to work with and went above and beyond for me! Highly recommend him for your vehicle needs!
Brian was wonderful to work with. I had a specific budget and a need for a reliable car. He found me exactly what I needed and in budget. I highly recommend and ask for Brian!!
Great customer service. Oil change not overpriced. Completed in relatively timely manner.
Efficient attentive quality service.
Staff are super friendly
Came in for an oil change and Jon Lawrence greeted me with a lot of helpful info since this was my first visit to this dealer since moving to Holland. My car got washed and Jon actually wiped down the remaining water.
My answers do not reflect the people that work at Elhart Nissan, in fact I would give the people I dealt with very high remarks. As for the length it took to rectify our situation, it was ridiculous. We brought our Nissan in on August 7 and did not get it back until Sept 14, thats 5 1/2 weeks! Not only that, but the dumper to bumper warranty that was sold to us didnt even cover the part that was defective. Now, Elhart backed us and I appreciate that, but I am very leery about the warranty I purchased (what good is it for?) and the vehicle I own. After this situation, I can say we will not purchase another Nissan or an extended warranty.
Love working with Jeff and this team. Always helpful and willing to go the extra mile. We have purchased our last 3 vehicles from there and will continue to do so.
Everything went well! I was dropped off at work and after the service was performed on my Xterra they picked me up!
I am always impressed with the exceptional customer service. They do everything they can to make your experience a good one. I love that they will take you to work after dropping off your car
My wife and I just got a pair of 2019 Nissan Kicks from Elhart. Jeff, our sales associate, helped guide us through the entire experience, from start to finish. Even after the sale, the staff at Elhart made sure our purchase was nothing less than perfect.
Although, I spent longer than I wanted to their. It was worth the wait for my sweet ride. Also, husband and I got to know their friendly, funny staff. I didnt get treated like a customer buying a car, more like one of their own. Friendly, family type. Very impressed.
For my recent oil change, they claimed to have found $600 worth of repairs needed. When I went to my auto shop that my family has used for years, they told me that none of it was needed. They were just trying to scam me!
Service Dept staff is always stellar (#Cindy shoutout here) - but especially appreciated yesterday when I stopped by - 15 min after they were officially closed - with a malfunctioning windshield wiper (and no sign of rain letting up). Within 5 minutes I was out the door with both wipers working again at no charge. Thanks for delaying your own trip home, guys, to help mine be a safer one. #Javier, #Dave, #Tyler, #Frank and anyone else I inadvertently missed.
Customer service here is great. Staff really knew what was going on and how to make you feel like home. I personally worked with Jake McKellar, who I would highly recommend.
A couple of oil changes ago, I switched to synthetic oil. Was told this would be better because of the low mileage we put on the 2014 Rogue. However when I went in for an oil change this pass week. I was informed that the last oil change had been done with a mixed oil. And that I would need to pay for a flush if I wanted to go back to the synthetic.I dont understand why I was switched off the synthetic, when you always pull up the service record. I did receive a small credit towards the flush. But am not happy that the oil type was changed and dont think I should have had to pay for the technition error.Howard HuisinghUPDATE:I was contacted by the Service Manager, we discussed what had happened. He agreed with me and I now have a free oil change coming the next time I come in. He also credited we for the extra charge for flushing the engine. Now thats what I call customer service!
Hey stopped into Elhart today, Spoke with jake! He was more than helpful answered every question! Went above and beyond the call of duty!! Would only buy from him!! 5 stars all the way thanks again Jake!!
The service was fantastic, the maintenance department kept in contact with me and worked out the best deal for me. Highly recommended.
Not happy. Oil change and check done for AC took 3 hours and 45 minutes. Not once did anyone come out and make me aware of what was going on. I was told it would possibility take 2 hours. This was warranty work. Is that why I was put on low priority? It does it truly take that long??? I was the first person there and my first time as a KIA owner. I was gone for only an hour. How long does it take to check AC?
Great place to buy a car! Ask for Brian (aka Cowboy). Hell treat you right!
This was my 30 day complimentary follow up from purchase of new vehicle. Great service and friendly staff!
Elhart stores my winter tires and mounts them for me in beginning winterwhen i purchased tires from them and had them mounted on rimsthey promised they would put on/off every season for freealways have to remind them of their promise but then they do not charge meseems to be alot of turnover in service department recently
I had a great experience as usual. Great Service and friendly atmosphere.
Everyone very friendly and helpful! Great atmosphere! They are my dealership for life!!
I was told by Jon in the service department that shaking in my Xterra was caused by faulty shock absorbers, and that the problem would be rectified by $800.00 shock replacement. I replaced the shocks myself, and when removed, they expanded and contracted exactly as they should. The shaking did not go away. After getting a second opinion, it was determined that the condition was caused by my tires, not the shocks. This tells me that either a) the person who inspected my vehicle is incompetent, or b) Elhart Nissan has a practice of prescribing unnecessary repairs to replace after-market parts at great expense to the car owner for Elharts own profit. I will NOT be returning to Elhart Nissan, nor will I be recommending Elhart to friends and colleagues!
Always greeted with warm smiles, quick work. Enjoyable visits
Extremely friendly staff and helpful with any questions I had.
Everything went perfectly. The service provided was absolutely remarkable. I was in and out.
Friendly, knowledgable staff. They are quick to respond if you give them a call, and go above and beyond when there in person. Jake McKellar is full of energy and my go to guy. I would definitely recommend him. Coming back here for my next one!
Brian was extremely helpful and thoughtful and got me into a great car within my price range! Highly recommend!
They are very friendly and professional! Plus your car will almost always get a wash when you take it in to them! Prices are fair and reasonable!
It was a pleasant visit today. But I have a appointment tomorrow at 8:30 am.
Service check on an intermittent issue. Communication was efficient and
Here is my report of repair at Nissan Elhart, in Holland, MI.It starts 6 months ago with a routine oil change where the tires were supposed to be rotated and I left to find out later they were not, I drove back to have it done. When I left second time the tire maintenance light was still on, so I called and was assured the tires were rotated, brakes checked as a matter of course but the computer was not reset. I was invited to return for the rest but by now had spent all morning at Elhart and left it for another day.Fast forward to next oil change, tires rotated and brakes needed replacement, along with rotors. I complained feeling if the brakes were that bad it should have been noted at last visit. Service agreed to replace rotors for free. When I returned to have brakes replaced I was told the rotors were ok, just brakes were replaced. Now I leave and brakes are squeaking and “grabbling.” I stop in to a local repair guy and am told “brakes were replaced on defective rotors.”So Elhart after yet another visit finally replaces rotors, so another waste of time but more importantly, I was left with poorly functioning brakes when I left the previous time and brakes but not rotors were replaced, in the Michigan winter no less.In my opinion, this repair was inadequate. It required multiple visits for standard adjustments and at the point where I had brakes sitting on defective rotors, endangered myself and my family. This was above and beyond simple repair omission, it bordered on a real danger in my opinion, and could have resulted in disaster if brakes “grabbed” at the wrong time, as in snow. A dangerous skid could have resulted.
Totally avoid this place. I placed a deposit on car as I needed to wait a day for the insurance claim to clear the check for a car that was totalled. They disregared my deposit and still sold the car anyway. I suspect they used my interest to negotiate a higher price with another party. I was warned by two other people that this dealership is sketchy and I was proven correct. Salesmans name is Tim Davis - total scumbag.
Very nice to deal with and very helpful! They found a leak in my front right tire that nobody else has been able to find
Jeff and Dan was good helping me to cut out a deal on Nissan Sentara. The only thing that I felt was the residual value(RV) was way less than true market selling price. The Nissan Sentara that I got has a RV around 8K (after 3yrs), ideally any dealer around my place would not be selling a Sentara car of 36K miles+3 yrs old for 8k to 8.5kUSD. Usually the average price is for a Nissan Sentara S model with 36 miles+3 yrs old will be 10500USD to 12KUSD. If the number was handled appropriately, then my monthly payment $ would have gone down and would have saved a good $ numbers.Other than that the service was overall good. Jeff was such a nice guy, helped answer all my question and he was kind to deliver my car to my place. He did called me later and checked all is ok with your purchase.
Had shifting problems with our 2007 maxima which we purchased from a private party. Stopped at Elhart Nissan and spoke with Jeff Schaap to get a professional opinion thinking we might need a new transmission. Left the car with him for the afternoon. Jeff was able to fix the problem for a very minimal charge. Excellent customer service.
Tate is very helpful and made our buying experience very smooth! Great customer service all around! Very clean facility.
Got my car done quickly and even washed it.
Awesome experience! Staff is always kind and goes out of their way to help! Will definitely buy another vehicle from Elhart Nissan in the future!
Jeff from elhart helped us with the purchase of our car, Honda crv. I love it. Great experience and very helpful!
Amazing service
We’ve had wonderful experiences and service from Jeff Schaap. We will continue to use him for each of our vehicle purchases! Thank you Jeff
Working with jake was great! Highly recommended him when looking for your next vehicle.
Stopped in Elhart Nissan, was helped by Jake. He was super helpful and high energy. Overall great experience
Weve bought two cars from Elhart in the past 3 years, and Jeff Schaap has been fantastic both times!
Thanks for the amazing service, Tony! You definitely earned our repeat business!
Very nice Brian I am 100 percent satisfied thank you for your help finding the veicle I want
Tony is an amazing salesman! He seriously tries his absolute hardest to get you the best deal possible, and make sure you get everything you want.
Elhart Nissan is the worst when dealing with there PAYING customers.Trying to contact Jeff Elhart for the lemon car they sold my family and I. He wont respond to our calls or visits. Has his employee Tate take our call who gives us; at this point an excuse of an employees outbreak why they havent been able to reach out to help solve these issues they sold us on. I do not recommend anyone left in the situation they have left us in.The worst customer service I have ever been treated in my lifetime! Excuses after excuses. Own up to your so called loyalty you have on your business website.
Jeff Schaap has one of the best Mustaches in Town. Car deals were pretty good too!
We had a super car buying experience . The dealers took the time and helped us ever step of the way. Definitely going back.
Just purchased our fourth Nissan from Elhart Nissan of Holland with the help of Jeff Schaap, Because of the great service and value we have received, the question isnt which brand, dealership, or salesperson we will be going with in the future. The only question is, which options Jeff needs to find for us.
Fast and friendly service, well priced parts, thanks Elhart!
Had some issues with a used car I bought..so far Im very happy with there service department...car has been great since..
Good service department. Have bought two cars there And good experiences.
