Check in was completely seamless and I was able to move my stuff that day if I wished. I started my lease online but had to finish in person, because the online agents computer froze. Luckily I was able to go to the office, where they honored the online rate! Happy so far!

Rented a 5x5 to make more room during the pandemic and sort of got used to having the additional storage. It’s a clean facility, never had a problem getting in or accessing the unit. Staff was pleasant when I started the lease.

Location manager Chris is the man!! Very attentive and super friendly. The entire experience was easy and stress free. They have covered spaces to unload in case of inclement weather, but allowed us to park right out front since it was more convenient to our unit. Second time renting from Extra Space, and have no hesitations about renting again in the future.

I didn’t know exactly which size storage unit I needed, and they helped me determine on the phone based on an estimate of items I had. Hands down the cleanest storage space Ive ever been in. The price for my unit is reasonable for Hoboken, and Chris made the entire process easy with his thorough explanations and patient demeanor.

We needed the PODS container to park their parking lot to load our stuff from the storage, and Chris (the on-site manager, I think), communicated us very promptly how we can get it done. The moving is not happening yet, but still its one less stress now and we really appreciate it!

I have to tell you that during these crazy times moving was something that was causing so much stress. Finding a storage space that I felt comfortable with was another issue. This was going to be a place where I was going to keep many of my prized possessions, items that cannot be replaced, things that have deep sentimental value. Let me just say that the manager Gabe at Extra Space Storage is such an amazing person. He answered any and every question I had. The prices they have are very affordable, the storage units are monitored by video surveillance and that was an extra plus. The fact that I kept running out of tape and boxes was another thing, but an easy pickup while I was moving things in. Definitely exceeded my expectations and made things so much easier for me.

Have yet to visit the facility but its already got my 5 stars just for customer service. Shoutout to Gabe! I didnt want to be that annoying customer, but I had a bunch of questions as its my first time having to use a storage space. Thank you Gabe for your time and patience in helping me!

Went to a few storage facilities in the area and spent quite a bit of time on-line looking at prices and saved Extra Space Storage for last in anticipation that wed go with this one. The service was great, Elba was lovely, very attentive and informative. The facility may be a bit older then others in the area but it is very well taken care of and the units are clean, climate controlled, and look brand new.

You store your important things in a storage paying fee, so you want to make sure that the facility is well managed. The facility manager, at Clinton St. Hoboken Extra Space Storage, Elba, is the one you can really trust! She is very reliable. Every time I have questions, I call her and talk to her. She explains everything very thoroughly and patiently until I understand. We have been renting a space over a year. We are glad to choose this place! Had a great experience so far with reserving and booking a storage unit. Elba was very helpful in helping me to set up my lease, show me my unit, and take my payment. We paid only $25 for a month + $11.00 in optional insurance with coverage up to $2,000.00 worth of damage. 10/10 recommend!

Just finished a walk-through of the facilities and its well laid out, very clean and the staff has been extremely friendly. Website deal makes the unit a great value.And its just a couple of minutes outside of the lincoln tunnel which is clutch if you live in the city like me.

Professional team from the moment I walked in. I was leaving what had been a bad experience at another storage company in Hoboken so my expectations were low, but Extra Space has really wowed me. The staff are friendly and constantly working on cleaning, repairs, etc. so you know the place is in good hands. I ended up getting 50% more space at half the cost of my old unit. Very happy with this move.

I used this storage facility for 2 years and had a very positive experience. The sign up process was very simple as was the closeout. Chris and Alba were always helpful and accommodating. They often called me to let me know when I received a shipment and made sure all my boxes were assembled in one spot. I recently vacated my unit - as I am relocating to a different geography- and Chris was kind enough to help me move out my boxes!

The staff was friendly and informative. Answered all of my questions. However, I wish the website had informed me of the extra cost of insurance on top of the rental fee. That took me by surprise. The storage room and the hallways were clean and looked well-maintained. My only real criticism is about security. I went there last Sunday when there was no staff and found the outside loading-dock door unlocked. The doorknob has a lock that anyone can unlock and forget (or purposefully neglect!) to re-lock. I made sure it was locked when I left. Also, the inside north door was not only unlocked but did not have a lock on the knob so I was not able to lock it before leaving. Finally, on that same door, the automatic closer has been partly dis-assembled and is no longer functional. The facility would be great if they just tightened the security a bit.

I have to give them a five review. Great and very friendly people that work there. I would suggest you check it out and store your items.

I have been needing a storage unit for quite some time and finally got one at Extra Space. After my easy experience I am kicking myself for not doing it sooner. I called to reserve a unit and came in the same day. Chris was super helpful setting my account up, showing me my unit and answering all the questions I had. The next day I moved a bunch of boxes into my 5x10 unit {which fits a lot more than I would have thought and I still have plenty of room}. My apartment feels brand new and so much bigger without having to hide and store the extra stuff but its also easily accessible for when I do need it. Wonderful experience, this has been my best spring cleaning yet.

The assistant manager, Javier, was extremely helpful. The facilities are clean and easily accessible. The loading dock makes it easy to load/unload the contents of my unit onto a truck. I also like how they will accept deliveries and call me to move the contents to my unit.
