Had the easiest sign up and move-in experience ever! I did it all online and thought I had to come in during office hours to finalize everything. Nope! I was good to just walk in and move everything without a word. Jordan who was at front desk helped me with elevators and any questions I had. Super smooth and great customer service!

When you go to most places nowadays, you are assisted by people who are unmotivated and unfriendly. But when I entered public storage in hoboken, it was a wonderful experience. I also had a customer service agent named Brian I believe assist me with my inquiries. He was super helpful and amazing with his proper customer service etiquette.

Ive used this place for years. The temperature control floors are truly maintaining cool temperature year round. Jordan the property manager was amazing when I vacated the unit. He helped me out throughout the process and was super nice. Their pricing is also reasonable. Check them out!

I had a unit here for two years. It was packed with furniture, pillows, a mattress, tv, cardboard boxes, and other things, and when it came time to move out everything was exactly as I left it. They were also really nice and helpful in the office.

I cant write enough good things about the Hoboken Public Storage Unit property manager, Jordan. My husband and I booked a one-bedroom unit site unseen during the pandemic. When we went to move in, we were shocked and disappointed by the size and condition (the insulation took up about 10% of the available space). I thought Id have to fight tooth and nail to get a new, larger unit at an equally competitive rate. But Jordan swooped in and saved the day. He was so easy work with, accommodating, and transparent. We worked together to move our items into a new unit on our schedule and were able to come to a new, competitive rate. Moving is so stressful, but its such a comfort when management plays for your team rather than against you. I highly recommend this place as long as Jordan is around! And David at the front desk is super helpful and friendly as well.

My brothers have been renting at this location for just over 5 months and I have to say it’s been the most pleasant of all locations we’ve encountered. They have gated doors, easy to use keypads, it feels safe, and David was able to answer all of our questions when we came in earlier this month. I used this location to store my goods for over 10 years while I was living in Hoboken with my family. They were always super helpful and accommodated me as I moved up to bigger units as my needs changed over time. The facility was always very clean and secure.I finally had to move recently and leave the facility and the manager there, Jordan, was extremely helpful. He went above and beyond and even helped me dispose on some last minute boxes on the day of the move, so we could get on the road sooner rather than later.If I ever come back to Hoboken I will chose this Public Storage for my storage needs.

This place is horrible. Every six months they raise you fees by 20%. Who does that in normal times let alone with much of the world is unemployed? There is no reason for such outrageous rate increases. There are often no carts when you get there. They really take advantage knowing that to move your items to another facility is time consuming and costly, so they just continue to raise their prices by outrageous percentages knowing they have you between a rock and a hard place.

Safe, gated doors, keypad entry, convenient, fairly priced and overall great customer service. Fran and David have been very helpful throughout the period I kept my belongings there. The monthly rent of my unit increased on March 1, 2021. Same day I made an in-person payment, and requested to speak to a manager to re-negotiate. The employee, Victoria submitted an email regarding my request to her district manager. About an hour later, I received a phone call from Victoria confirming the district manager, Samantha Winslow immediately reviewed, and approved my request. I am a customer of Public Storage, Hoboken location since 2004. This experience is an example of how a loyal customer has to be treated as I was. Thank You!!!

AVOID THIS PLACE - My storage unit was broken into and my boxes of belongings were all ripped open and dumped in a pile creating a huge mess. The individual staff that I interacted with were helpful enough, but the process of filing a complaint through their insurance plan entails a police report. So I called the Hoboken PD to show up to write a report... the officer who showed up told me Yeah, we get about 3-4 calls/ month, at least, that someones unit has been broken into. Apparently public storage does not have any closed-circuit video footage on the individual floors; just the exterior of the building. If you want to submit a claim, their insurance company does not reimburse for any of the time and hassle of cleaning up your damaged goods, only the value of the items... based upon original receipts (so if you dont have the receipts, they tell you to get lost). Ironically, I am one of the very few (maybe ONLY) people who I know who regularly keep receipts, so I will be able to submit a claim for a few of my items, but who is going to have receipts for most of the stuff you have in a storage unit? Not many... On top of that, the building is pretty rundown and not very well kept; no bathrooms to use while you are there, etc. They also raise your monthly storage rates after their initial teaser rates.

Incredible experience with the service here. My friend and I were running late and made it 20 minutes before the office closed and hours past my assigned move-in time. The two ladies at the desk, Suzy and Victoria, were extremely helpful and pretty much saved us from a nightmare. Instead of turning us away to figure out what to do with a van full of our belongings, they worked with us, going overtime, helping us out tremendously. The people here are very professional and were able to explain the details and agreements of the storage unit with ease. I highly recommend this Public Storage.

Great service and attention to detail. Francelis, was nothing but courteous through the whole process. I will be moving to the facility next month and had no way of filling the paper work online, she walked me through the process and advised me to go to my local Public Storage to fill out the paper work so I could be able to process my unit at her location in Hoboken. I was met with push back at my local Public Storage, but Francelis took the time to speak with the Property Manager and GM to let them know what the issue and her solution was. She called me after to make sure everything else went smoothly and apologized for the amount of time it took to get it done. All else went smoothly and I now have a unit at this location. It would have not been possible without her guidance. Highly recommend to use this facility especially any relocators.

When I got there an employee by the name of Jordan on Monday oct 5th stepped right out to help me and showed me how to lock and unlock my lock as well as where to put in my PIN number. He was very helpful and friendly answered any questions I had I would recommend this place to anyone.

I recently visited this location and I must say the customer service was great! I was helped by Tiara and she was very informative. She answered any questions I had and really helped with explaining things.

Victoria made our experience a breeze. She is a professional and a problem solver. The location is clean and the office is organized with a top notch staff.

I am honestly skeptical of the numerous 5 star reviews posted. They cannot all be real. My experience has been mediocre at best. The location is good and the facility is relatively clean and has parking. But the positives end there. There are only a handful of carts, meaning on most occasions you won’t have access to one and will either have to wait or carry things in multiple trips. Staff isn’t even close to friendly or helpful. Half of the ceiling lights are out. Unit size is misleading because many have large support pillars that take out several square feet. Prices are high. Be prepared to pay the “hidden” mandatory insurance fee that’s added on and disclosed after you’re about to pay upon sign up. I guess the location offsets this for many people, but it’s not a good facility or company.

Tiara was very helpful in my need to get moving supplies and was ready to help me every time I walked in the door.

Have had a unit now for six months at this location. The location itself is fine and easily accessible. After six months my payment has gone up by almost $100. Of course they gave me the normal spiel that it’s in the fine print of your lease. They should disclose that at the beginning that they will change your rates. Neither the property manager or customer service was willing to help me. But they did say that if I vacate for a week and sign up again I would be eligible for the online rates which which is a ridiculous solution that is completely unhelpful. If you decide to sign up at this location or any of their locations make sure you read the fine print because they will be increasing your rates substantially after six months.

Good location and rates are fair. Parking lot always has space. Facility is clean and well maintained. Only piece of feedback is that dollies can be hard to track down, and upper floor access is very slow with only 1 elevator, especially during busier hours.

Upon visiting this center, I met an associate by the name of Stephanie who was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to help answer all my questions and address all my concerns, all while keeping a smile on her face!!..I will definitely be coming back!!

I have gone back and forth with my rating and have settled on 5 stars. When we initially moved our belongings in, the staff was helpful and polite. They answered all of our questions and even made some friendly recommendations since we were moving out of state. The Management staff was responsive when I had an issue earlier in the month and quickly reached out to me to see how they could resolve it and continue my positive experience with their storage facility. There are some opportunities like having another cart or two available during busy times, but overall I would recommend using their facility if you are in need of additional storage space. 5 stars!!!!!

She was so knowledgeable and helpful, I assumed she must have been working there for a long time, so I asked her, and she told me that she had only been there for about 2 months! We were running behind due to Jersey traffic while making a 10-hour trip, and were going to make it to Public Storage just as it was closing. Our car was absolutely packed with stuff and we needed to unload it that night. I asked Rosemary if anyone at their location would be able to stay a little late if I threw in $20 cash. She said Keep your money, just let me know when youre close. I hadnt even signed up for a storage space yet! When we finally made it to Public Storage 2 minutes before closing, she showed me our unit and signed me up, let our cat stretch its legs in the office, and explained all the policies and answered all my questions. I give Rosemary and her location 5 stars.I would take a star off if this review was just for Public Storage as a company. Several new fees appear when signing up for a unit: $20 for a lock, and at lest $11 monthly for mandatory insurance through the provided company, regardless of any property or renters insurance you may already have. These arent listed on the website when checking rental rates.

I must say when dealing with all my moves and times needing to have to store my belongings. This property is the first place that has given me their undivided attention. I had the pleasure of working with the property manager Stephanie, shes very knowledgeable of her responsibilities. She showed me many units took the time required to explain the contract in detail. Im very likely to be visiting this facility in the near future for my belongings storage.

We had had belongings at this location for a 3 years. In that time, the price of the unit has gone up over $100. We also started to notice that the ceiling was crumbling and debris was falling on our things. We mentioned that and the mouse droppings in the unit and they did nothing and acted like they did not care. We just decided to move out finally and when we did it was incredible how many mouse droppings were in there. There is a problem here.

Good & BadFirst the good: Great location and Very convenient access having a large parking lot. Staff is very helpful and pleasant. Storage area was cleaning and climate controlled.Now the bad: Although their initial fee for the first six months was very reasonable, received a 35% increase.

A young gentleman by the name of Robert helped and assisted me in opening a storage unit at this property. Very well kept facility and I would recommend everyone to store here.

Friendly service! Joyce is awesome! Easy to access from the city. Two block wall to the light rail, which connects to path, which connects to the MTA subway!

My friend and I went in to discuss transferring units and James who is the Manager for Public Storage made it so simple. We are on a fixed budget and he walked us through all the options on how to downsize and still fit all our things. He spent about an hour with us and it was a real pleasure. Highly recommended.

I spoke with Jim and he was extremely apologetic and helpful. After only a brief phone call, he was able to diagnose the problem, fix it, and credit my account. Yesterday I went to the office to sign paper work and pay for my unit. Liz was helpful, kind, and efficient and getting me all set up. I was relieved to see that they have moving carts available for use and that I can access the unit as I please. They also have a variety of packing supplies that I plan to purchase to keep all my belongings in mint condition. Overall, feeling less stressed about my upcoming move.

The facility is in a convenient location and is very clean. Liz, the manager, is a mover and a shaker. She assisted me in locking down a storage unit within 15 minute before her next appointment which was at closing time.
