I love this place! The tea is legit and everyone there is nice. We were worried we wouldnt be able to find a good boba place in Hilo but I could come here again and again. The menu is large with lots of options Its great so far Ive tried the oolong milk tea, brown sugar milk tea, Hokkaido milk tea, monster boba, Korean coffee with milk tea under and the Korean coffee with the monster boba under it. Its great! I plan to come here a few more times before I leave. For sure a place you should try. Also there is a nice area to sit and enjoy your drink.

My cousins in California said Ding Tea is the best boba joint so I decided to try the one here. I have no complaints. Tasty boba tea. Nice little cafe with lots of art for taking pictures just like the other locations.

That might be a place for tea but definitely not for coffee. Ordered an iced American, the coffee was pre-made and tasted so burnt it was un-drinkable. I literally threw it away and bought another coffee at the chocolate bar a few feet down the road. We really went there because my friend is taiwanese and wanted to support them. Too bad I have to leave a negative review

We’ve tried all the bubble tea in Hilo and this one has the best flavor by far! Family owned and operated, very friendly folks, I’ll talk to way right in Hilo town. If you’re visiting the east side of the island stop by and see hung and his wonderful tea selection!

Broad selection. Not too sweet. Do I prefer Ding Tea over Teapresso? Hard to say, but yes. Only because their bobba is softer and a stronger Asian influence.

Besides having really good things on their menu, the workers are the most sweetest people you’ll ever meet! There was never a time where they didn’t greet me with good vibes. Always satisfied with what I order, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone visiting from other places.

I Got Monster Boba Latte & Hokkaido Black Milk Tea With Golden Boba 😋

First time and last time trying Ding tea. I don’t know if it’s because we were the last ones here before they closed but our drinks were terrible. I was really looking forward to trying this place. Don’t get the oolong milk teas taste like old tea with old boba that’s been drowned in sugar. Maybe you will have better luck coming earlier or getting a different drink. The service was amazing and the owners are family owned. We were immediately greeted by the store owner. The shop is especially cute and beautiful with amazing murals and just an amazing tea shop. The only critic I have is the drink I got and I’m just trying to give an honest review. Did not mean to offend the owners!Owners calling us out that something wrong with us when we walked in, is it the color of our skin? I don’t get it. The only critic i have is the boba drink I got, never said anything about the owners! We were genuinely excited to try the boba drinks here after seeing the amazing reviews

Tried the strawberry milk tea with coconut n rainbow jellys and crystal bobas, so enjoying this wonderful delectible. And my hubby did the chocolate milk tea with coconut jellys, he said it was wicked!!

Yummy tea & the ambience and decor is nice. They have some games so its a good place to take the kids. We will be back! :)

Delicious Taiwanese boba. The boba pearls were the perfect, soft and chewy texture. We got the brown sugar boba milk which rivals all the other top Taiwanese competitors like Tiger Sugar. Also very friendly staff!

This is a must visit place for drinks! Great selection of drinks and very tasty! The signature milk tea slightly sweet is perfect...not too sweet! Their golden boba is sticky chewy and not hard like other places. The strawberry yogurt is interesting with a sour kick. The red bean smoothie is good too if you like Azuki bean. They blended Azuki beans and added Azuki beans to the drink. I havent tried the monster drink yet as I heard that was really good. And Im waiting to try their milk tea with dalgona coffee! The large size leaves you satisfied and not with a cup full of ice after a few sips. The staff is friendly and helpful in choosing a drink to your taste. I would go everyday if I could!

Surprisingly good, we also spent an hour here playing with their boardgames. I like all their aloe stuff.we went there the second day and ordered original milk tea with boba gain, however, i feel the boba tastes a bit stale, its still cooked right, but it feels it has been stored for too long. maybe an exception, i would still recommend this place to everyone.

I was living in California 2 years ago, Ding Tea is my all time favorite place to get Boba Tea and now, Finally Ding Tea Hilo open first location in Hawaii. Today I just got my favorite all time Taro Milk Tea with Crystal Boba 50% sweet and 50% ice.

Very good. In my opinion, probably the best on the Big Island. I never messed with teapresso personally as it is over priced for a mediocre drink. Ding Tea is great for a very affordable price. 10/10 recommend #saacsofpeachesapproved

40 minutes to get through a short line, order and wait for them to make about 8 drinks before my daughter’s passion fruit slush. Told by the cashier that they had run out of boba, run out of coffee, but could make me a drink I wasn’t interested in. Not impressed.
