Love the delicious chocolates here. They suggested we try a sample as we were perusing the shop. Milk chocolate was yum, but the 70% Dark Chocolate was fabulous.Loved the fact that they were Locally sourced and produced here in the big island.Beautiful packaging. Makes nice gifts to take back home either for yourself, or as gifts for loved ones.

Great local chocolate shop and cafe. Friendly staff and owners. They offer chocolate samples too! Also have local coffee, gift items made locally in their shop.Had the frozen hot cocoa, amazing! They have many varieties of delicious chocolate available. One of my favorites is the Big Island Dark Chocolate bar from the Hamakua District. My husband and I had the opportunity to take the cocoa farm tour which was very interesting and learned a lot. Our guide Matt was very knowledgeable and shared with us the process for getting the cocoa beans ready for chocolate making. We were able to sample different chocolate that Puna Chocolate makes from the different districts. One fun item we tried was when the cacao pod is opened the cocoa seeds are covered with a white sweet tasting fruit flavor.Would recommend if doing the cocoa farm tour to wear good shoes and bring some rain gear since it may rain while on the tour. They do provide some umbrellas. It rained on and off our tour.

All things quality chocolate! Very nice atmosphere and good chocolate with lots of descriptive details. Would recommend the $7 chocolate flight you get 10 samples and get to try chocolate from across the island! However be aware they are extremely strict about masks and you have to wear them when being served at your table.

Very unfriendly on how they enforce the mask rules (btw I am triple vaccinated and fully support the masks) - you can buy their expensive drink but can’t even have a sip of it in store unless you sit in that spot and not in some other spot, even though you are the only customer in the store and are located 20 feet away from everyone. And if you sit where they say to sit you still are 20 feet away from everyone. Anyways, no worries I can always go pay $5 for coffee somewhere else. This place does not need business I guess. Many other nice coffee shops around here!

Delicious single origin Chocolat from all over Big Island. Other chocolate goodies like coconut and macadamia nut. It is expensive, but you are supporting local. Great local crafts, some that highlight recycling and ocean plastic turned into souvenirs. Beautiful local art.

Rude staffEdit: There you go again! Your response is as irrelevant as it is irreverent. We were wearing masks and did not poop in your store. The only bad tasting brown stuff we left behind in the store were your chocolates.PS - Lilikoi is not off season. Not for another few months.PPS - Why would you have the same response to the comment I mistakenly posted for your Illinois store? Did I use the restroom in your Illinois store or your Hawaii store? Try harder if you want to lie.

This place is really wonderful. It’s like a little jazz chocolate bar almost. Music and chocolate can’t go wrong. Some of the menu items I’ve tried are delicious. They even randomly have cbd dog treats so your pup can chill out a bit. I’ve heard the owner will eventually open up a secret space underground underneath and below the depths of the restaurant where you can buy the real deal adult coco.

A sweet place to get locally made gifts and an incredible place to get a mocha (single estate bean and local cocoa, mmm)! Very friendly and helpful staff who were happy to support my obsession with cutting down on my trash making.I am posting photos of a local crafter available here that blew my mind. They upcycle plastics and rubber to create useful trinkets. This wasnt the only eye catching work here, but I am a total sucker for someone who diverts material from landfills.

Soooo YUM! I took my carload of teenagers after a day of exploring Hilo and this was a great treat. We got Paniolo Mocha (iced), aloha coconut mocha (iced) - this was the best imo, PB banana (close 2nd), and 2 frozen hot chocolates. The paniolo Mocha was a bit spicy but still very good. I didnt try the frozen hot chocolates, but the ones who got them enjoyed them. Great little shop. Friendly staff - they answered all our questions and were very helpful. Also I got chocolate bars and some flour sack towels with Hawaiian designs. The only pic I took there was of their cute white board sign. Whoops!

What an incredible space. Delicious drinks, chocolate, and its beautiful and serene inside. Their retail space seems more like a beautiful art gallery, and they even have an educational and interesting infographic about how they make chocolate and how their process is slightly different. I highly recommend checking this place out and buying some chocolate and Cacao Nectar while youre at it.

Surprised to be the second reviewer and the first to leave comments (the first person just gave stars). Its an interesting chocolate shop. Not a lot of products but their pure Hawaii chocolate is not only very good but one of the few places that you can get chocolate grown and processed in the USA. They say due to the small scale of their cacao farm they avoid high volume production. But what they have - nibs, hot chocolate mix and dark chocolate - are all very good. They also have an interesting side business selling exotic chopping boards, laser cut wood craft and other wood household items.

Great little shop. Within Hilo revitalized downtown area, shop and owners are welcoming. Chocolate is 100% Hawaiian and really awesome. We got the 5 for 20 squares: dark 70% and 90%, sea salt with cashews, crispy rice and milk chocolate and honey wine berry (my favorite). Plenty of other local gifts and crafts. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality and origin.
