Cute shop with ton of cute products from Japan.

This place has a rarer selection of pokemon dolls than the actual Pokemon Centers in Japan! Tons of great anime/manga merchandise as well. Also, the store owner is extremely nice and super friendly!

Very limited selection, ok pricing, staff wasnt very knowledgable. Hardly any Sanrio stuff. A wasted trip, as I had called ahead and was told they had alot of hello kitty stuff.

Went in on two different Sundays and it doesnt open at 11: 30 as advertised. I would recommend showing up 10 mins after advertised time.

I love that this store has Hello Kitty Products and the owner told me to let him know if there was anything I wanted that I didn’t see and he could possibly order it. 5 star Review.

Really rude. I felt watched the entire time I was in there and was unpleasantly surprised to find that the owner just wanted me out of there after I paid for my things. Don’t waste your money here (especially if you are black)

Found this place by happy accident after trekking to DSW - they carry the greatest pens! I know it seems so trivial but let me tell you, learning to appreciate the small things keeps life positive and being able to buy my favorite No Face pen in person at a very reasonable price is a WIN!! Not to mention all the other cool things on display....

Amazing as always, super friendly. Love going there with my daughter she always finds something that she loves there, whether its candy or a new toy... there something for everyone.

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE BLACK. It was clear the owner thought me and my friends (all black) were stealing from his store. Kept eyes on us the entire time and once we reached the counter to pay he acted as if we weren’t worth his time and wanted us out. Please do not give this business your money, absolutely horrible and dehumanizing experience.

I actually really love this store. And have shopped here many times. On this last trip I was charged way beyond what the total should have been. I read a previous review regarding this also. Make sure you are paying attention to your total and not in a rush at checkout. I love the selection and am happy to give smaller specialty shops business but if I return, Ill be much more careful and cautious at checkout.Edit for response from retailer: Your cashier/ employee did not provide me with a receipt. I discovered the unusually high amount on my bank account. So I have no course of action to reclaim my money. Thank you for the reply.

This place is amazing!!! 😃 My daughter and I love coming here and buying pokemon stuffed animals, and we have quite the collection now! We love browsing theyre diverse collection of stickers, authentic japanese pokemon cards, and mugs! We got my daughter these amazing little hedgehog slippers from there that she wears everyday! And I got my wife these all-purpose kitchen knives that seriously can cut anything!Also, their customer service is amazing!!! Very very friendly! We talk to the owner every time, and hes always very generous to us too! He also requested specific stock for us, which we obviously got when it came in, and keeps us updated on the new items coming in!My family loves shopping here, and its now become a tradition for our family to go! My daughter looks forward to it every week! We rate this place a very high 11 out of 10! There are so many cool things here for everyone, so come check it out! 😃

Awesome finally a Japanese store closer to home. If anyone has been to a Daiso store its very similar to that. This has a little bit of commo items, dishes, snacks Ramen, chopsticks and more. Go check it out.

If you like Japanese things, especially on the anime side of it, check this out for a bit. Like, if youre going to the grocery store, just pop in next door. They got a bunch of figurines and stickers of some of the anime heros. No comic books or manga that Ive seen thus far. They have a bunch of plush stuff in the front. Lots of cookware items toward the back. Some typical household items and such. And then a wall with some candy and ramen and other things. Ice cream freezer and some sodas and other things in a fridge. Worth the visit Id say.

It’s a very small store and it’s very cosy! But when I walked in and grabbed this tiny little plush, it was 11 dollars..which was not very worth it. It’s like the size of a babies hand.This store is still great though. The owner and employees are very nice! I recommend their ice creams!

I had a great time here. It is such a good place for anything you could need. I was helped by a nice young man named Skylar, he was extremely polite and helpful to me and other customers. He describes good thing later on.

Edit: upgraded from 2 stars to 4. they have a new cashier who is a pretty girl, and she is very sweet and friendly.has some cheap finds, but why the heck is the cashier so rude???? please ask your staff to say hello and goodbye, please and thank you and smile when a customer meets his eye.

The shop itself is very very cute, the items are less expensive here than what youd find at other Asian Markets. The person who was working when I was there was a complete sweet heart. I suggest going here if youre in the area!

This place has decent collection of Japanese dishes like nice rice bowls and different sizes of plates.Recently they also increased the number of instant noodles, so you can find a lot of options.

Some good finds can be found here at reasonable prices. Otherwise have to drive all the way to uwajimaya to get them.

This little shop is a gem! The kitty toys are adorable, they have a nice selection of treats and accessories, plus some beautiful coffee and tea mugs! The items are more reasonably priced than at Uwajumaya and this shop is in Tanasbourne, a growing area of the city of Hillsboro. I really recommend this place because of the quality and the owner was so nice when I asked him questions.

Hmm its okay. Youre better off going to Uwajimaya

Fun store with great Japanese style dishwear and tea sets!

Pretty great small shop. Lots of kitchen implements, bowls and things. A small area with snacks and foods (Uwajimaya has a larger selection and similar stuff, but I cant vouch for pricing), an area with stationary items including washi tape and pens. A decent selection of chopsticks, including bamboo and metal. Certainly a nice little shop if you want something that reminds you of Japan. Personally I like the selection at Uwajimaya better, but I do love stopping in here to see what they may have that Uwajimaya doesnt.

Employee was on cellphone the entire time with speakerphone along with horrible customer service and no sense of welcoming. I got charged 10 times for 1 item causing extra $27 charge. Employee was unaware of it even happening and wouldnt have said anything about it. Confronted the issue and then continues to give incorrect amount back to me. I will not return, i do not trust this place with my money and i do not recommend anyone to spend time here. Uwajimaya in beaverton is the much better. They are licensed sanrio retailers with a ramen restraunt. This place is so small on top of that you walk in and thats it.
