So many needful things all well organized and laid out logically and immaculate!.I am still so elated my friend gave me a ride here to shop in-store.Components and parts priced cheaper than Amazon and higher quality or just not in Newegg or Amazon...Definitely returning and recommending to other techies local and remote!

Very happy PCHcables exists locally. I have been saved many times coming here for the right cable, at the right price, right now. PCHcables has outgrown its name and has become something closer to a modern day Radioshack full of useful geeky items. My last visit I almost bought a fiber loopback plug and some spade terminals when all I needed was some Cat6 patch cables.  They do not carry low quality or scammy items. Pricing is equivalent to the best prices of any online store while being able to see it in person. Local box stores can be an order of a magnitude more in pricing for sometimes an older cable that doesnt meet current specifications.  It sort of amazes me that any box store within 50 miles is able to sell a single cable during PCHcables store hours..Pat the owner is well intended but can come across as pushy or rude.  He has far too much energy and cant seem to slow down.  His knowledge of adapters, cables, wall plates, and the rest of that jazz is encyclopedic. He doesnt seem to understand when someone doesnt have 20 years of experience shopping for that active vga to hdmi with hdcp 2.2 compliance, while also splitting out audio for dual mono blocks as part of 5.2.4 speaker system (Aisle 3 in the back).  If I had half his energy I could be retired.5/5 Will shop here again, and again.

They got so many cables. Any cable you can think of they have. Its a great place to look around and you might find something that you will use forever. I got a ipad charging cable and a usb c to a 3.0 cable and they work wonders. My ipad one is more durible tan the stock and the other cable can be used as an Oculus link cable!

Stopped by to pick up some cables for a server project and felt harassed by the guy behind the counter repeatedly asking what I was looking for and hovering around. I got the vibe that he seemed irritated that I was there. Reading reviews on here I’m not the one to have experience this. I’d suggest fs.com for cables instead.

Not a great experience here as a first time customer. It felt as if I was a huge bother to the person behind the desk because I had questions. I was looking for a simple rca to headphone cable and I wanted to know if they also made a video component to hdmi converter. I kept getting the ok, but which one attitude. I dont know man, I just looked at the colors. On top of all that, the rca to headphone cable I got didnt even work with my phone. Unless you have an electrical engineering degree, dont bother shopping local here, just buy it on amazon

Found this little hole in the wall cable place the other day to get some cables and other necessary items I needed as soon as possible, because amazon shipping times are horrendous these days. The gentleman greeted me and asked me if I was looking for anything in particular, he pointed me in the right direction. I found myself to get lost in this place as there are so many options and variety of items, it’s memorizing. I will definitely be back to take more time to see all the items they have or browse their website, or both. As looking though the aisles you might find a sense of humor by looking closely. Ive seen this place around for years and very thankful I take a chance one day to explore it and fall in love with the fact that has just got everything you could ever possibly want when it comes to cables and such. These guys have always had the right cable to meet my project needs whether thats a ordinary USB cable or something more obscure.

This place is like Heroin for an electronic, computer or Audio cable nerd!! They have sooooo many adapters and connectors and stuff you do & don’t need that you’ll buy anyway! SURE you can find them on Amazon but it is very cool to support local folks, plus the people there are cool and it’s fun to talk. In my case, I spent days on a DIY audio project and he explained to me exactly what adapter I needed and how it works.

I was able to get what I needed, but customer service was not great. The person behind the counter was a bit gruff. Also I miss their previous location. The new store is too small and feels a bit claustrophobic. When I go in, I dont want to look around. I just want to get in and out as soon as possible.

The store have most kind of cables that u need and good price but the cashier or store owner is really rude. I was checking out at the time when the store ready to close. I asked him for another cable and he asked me how long do i need, i was Just trying to think how long do i need, he yelled at me “ come on i need to close the store”

This is a little late, but nonetheless. Im doing some shopping, I had my daughter with me, who is in potty training. Im finishing up with my transaction and she has to go, of course! I ask if we can use the restroom and a very agitated and rude... NO, no public restrooms! Obviously I dont need to utilize it, this is for my 2 year old daughter have some decency! I went out of my way to shop here to support a small local business. I just gave this small shop my business and have been for the past few years. I havent stepped foot in that place again. Ive pushed my thousands of dollars of cable needs to amazon.

Called to try and order some Ethernet cable. Asked the person who answered the phone if curbside pick up could be arranged. Person who answered became angry and started to complain about how busy they were. I understood and asked if a friend could come pickup my order and the person became even more angry I think they were a woman. Asked the woman if i could pay over the phone if i could pay over the phone and pick up and the Woman became even angrier. The WOMAN eventually hung up on me for trying to make a purchase. i knew exactly what i wanted when i called. there was no reason to treat a customer like this. So I have been using PCH cable for years and today Amazon will get all of my business until I find another local vendor. My wife offered to go and pick up a few things for me today while Im at work. The individual that was supposed to help her was incredibly rude and then brushed her off like she was nobody! The thing that gets me about this is that I enjoyed going here but, if someone I know and care about is going to be treated like this you only wonder how many others are getting the same treatment!

I agree with all of the dozens of others below who said these guys are very rude and disrespectful. These guys are certainly lacking any decent social graces. They are rude, have no patience and completely disrespectful. Thats the #1 reason for my 1-star review..In addition to that I feel their no-return policies are a bit ridiculous. They made a point to mention that most of my items were not returnable, even if they were completely unopened and unused. One of my items could be returned, but only if unopened. I guess when youre paying bargain basement prices you cant expect much. Nevertheless, this felt completely overzealous and pretty ridiculous. And again, they were just rude about the way they said it. Everything they say is with an air of arrogance and conceit..Another problem is stocking items. One of the items I wanted (a 12g, 100 ft roll of speaker wire) they only had one of. I needed three. I thought that was pretty ridiculous that a store who sells cable and wire didnt have more than one of a pretty common item. No back stock room, just whats on the shelves. No apology. Just Nope. Whats on the shelves is all we got..If youre in need of a lot of cables or really long cables (that would be cost prohibitive elsewhere) then I guess this is the place to go. They have a ton of selection and bargain basement prices. But dont expect much in terms of customer service skills. They dont have any and dont care.

I used to get excited about going to this place, but the current counter guy is very finicky & rude. Very disappointing. Especially because I prefer to support local small businesses.Example: while shopping around in the store, if you try to set anything on their counter to hold while you continue shopping, he seems to get very irritated. And if you look at any of their products on the end of the counter, he gets very protective of the space. And when trying to describe cables that you need he tends to get easily agitated & a bit snobbish.Update: Owner did contact me & genuinely expressed his disappointment in my experience. He sought to understand & is attempting to resolve the problem. I truly hope this person does get it for the sake of the business and their clientele.

This was a great find. The people their are knowledgable and very helpful. Its much bigger inside than it looks. There is a huge number of cables ranging from audio to video and computer and power. The prices are worth the 20 minute drive and they are now open on Saturdays.

Best place to find quality cables for all your tech needs.I needed a 15ft Aux stereo cord, bestbuys longest size was 10ft and their price was $30.I ran over to PCH cables and found 30ft cables for less than $5 each.The price difference is huge.Staff is great. Highly recommended.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff, Great Prices, as well as a wide selection of networking cables. By premade size or make your own with 1000s of feet. A great selection of audio cables for your garage or church band. Networking equipment for the advanced home office to mid level business. All at exceptional prices. As an example I buy phone cords here for about half the price (or they even have long ones for a bit to the same as your pay anywhere else) all with a guarantee of replacement if returned with receipt for 2 years at least (I believe depending on if they made the cable or not its a lifetime guarantee by cable types). All prices are exceptional.

I had a simple question regarding a project that I already done the research on. Dont know if he was having a bad day or that it was close to closed the store in a hour. But his responds and attitude I got was not good. Maybe take the time to print all of the so call funny sign can be used on how to treat customers better??? A huge variety of cheap cables, and a knowledgeable staff. Did I mention cheap cables? Seriously, youve never gotten your cables this cheap anywhere before. No, Amazon doesnt have them cheaper. Youre spending 10x too much at Best Buy. These cables are priced exactly where youd expect bundles of copper wrapped in insulation to be. Ive had trouble with some of the cables failing earlier than I expected but the owner has always exchanged with me and the vast majority of my cables have outlasted their original intention so Im never buying cables anywhere else, ever again.

I had a seemingly simple request to see if a piece of electronic equipment would turn on with a cable, and if it did I would buy a new cable. Apparently I was interrupting something more important because I was treated rudely and like an idiot. No one has ever come in to test if something was working or not before spending money on the parts required to make it work? It felt like I was the first to ask for something like that and it was rude of me to ask at that. I often refer my customers to this business because its category-adjacent and I dont stock cables. This was the first time Id come in in-person and I just know I wont be going out of my way anymore to go into the store or send people here. I may simply refer to the website if asked. Maybe thats no skin off anyones back but Id rather deal with an impersonal computer than someone who treats a potential customer like an idiot.

Faster and better than getting your cables online, just stop by for your networking or AV needs and get to read some of the hilarious jokes while you peruse

I love PCH Cables. They are affordable and efficient. The selection of cables is wonderful. There seems to be a lot of negativity concerning the quality. I suppose there is some truth to it, but you should expect that if youre spending a dollar for a 1000 ft ethernet cable. It depends on what youre using your cables for. You can definitely cut corners to save your wallet. If you brand name cords, they are out there. I think PCH arguably lesser cables are still far worth more than the cables sold at best buy for 3-5 times the price. PCH cables, keep doing what youre doing!

I have been coming here for more than 20 years. Everyone who I have had the experience of interacting with is kind and to the point. They are very knowledgeable and always willing to help. If I need some odd ball cable or part they will usual have it or let me know where I can find it even recommending other suppliers on retailers.Reading over these cry babies on here about there being no public restroom or lying about your interaction with the owner when he can provide evidence that shows your story is fabricated just makes me sad. I never said flat I only know of one style of ribbon cable with a varied number of pins/lines whatever. I called your store this morning after you were supposed to be open to check before I made the 30 minute drive. Voicemail said you were open so I made the trip. You were not open. So I wait an hour in Hillsboro. Come back and when I asked if you had 14 pin ribbon cable you said something about not being in that market (the cable market?). I did say it was for a spa controller and you acted incredulous. So yeah. 1 Star not because you did not have it, but because you acted like I was the idiot for assuming you would.

By far the best prices you can find for almost any type of cable related items. Website is very up to date and their customer service is great. Shipping in OR is usually in your mailbox the day after you order it. As long as PCH is in business they will be my only source for these items.Ill also say that I almost always order online rather than go into the store just because it is far away but I have gone in a few times and havent ever had a problem with them.
