It wasnt crowded, so that was nice. Great selection and the service was good. Must admit, anywhere I go for glasses Im always a bit $hocked. Always consider the 2nd pair for half off.
Amanda was absolutely amazing:1. Extremely personable, her disposition was astonishing.2. Knowledgeable about the products in the store.3. I had fairly detailed insurance issues and she researched every aspect, allowing me to take full advantage of my benefits.4. Very patient, it took us awhile to work through the glasses and the insurance. Handled it like a champ! All and all, the experience was the best that I’ve ever had in a store like this. Thank you Amanda, keep up the great job!!!!!
Awesome customer service with a great selection to easily find the style you are looking for! Mike and katie are very helpful! Very satisfied with my new look!
Great experience for first time glasses. Already had a prescription, so just browsed for frames. Patience with frame selection (took me a while to choose). I knew I needed both near a far vision correction, so picked progressive lenses, but the field of vision wasnt explained to me initially between standard, advanced and extended. I picked standard because it implies most used, but after one day of wearing them I knew I couldnt continue using them due to always straining to find the sweet spot for clear vision.Went back today and everything was explained to me this time. They were willing to upgrade me for free to advanced, but I went straight to extended and paid for it. Wouldnt want to have to come back again to upgrade from advanced to extended, seems like wasted time. Anyway, due to the initial mistake of not explaining the different types as a first timer, they were kind enough to add anti-glare to the lenses for free. Very happy...just have to wait for new lenses to come in. Would have been 5 stars had everything gone right the first time...🙂
My wife had lost a screw to the arm of her reading glasses. I walked into LensCrafters by my house and I was helped within minutes. Mary was so helpful and sweet. Within 5 minutes she had repaired the glasses and had me on my way. I’m addition to that she even gave them back to me in a nice cloth LensCrafters pouch! My experience couldn’t have been better and I thank you so much for that Mary. I will definitely be coming back to this location because of her.
The lady who helped me was amazing, so friendly and helpful! Loved her! Great experience. 👍👍
I had an unexpectedly AMAZING experience at the Hillsboro, OR, store! Mary Marshall, a customer service specialist, not only helped my daughter select 2 frames but she personally created one of them THAT DAY for pickup! I was astonished! Then, the second frame came into the store many days before I expected it. This is a miracle place... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I was treated very well by the gentleman that helped me. he was kind, courteous and polite to other guests waiting to be served. I would recommend them.
Didn’t feel like they wanted to help me. Others came in and they seemed eager to help. They were also very slow. Unfortunately, they need some help in customer experience.
Every time I’ve gone in this location Mary has been so helpful. It’s clean, quick and everyone is pleasant. Thanks for your help Mary. :)
Mary (520515) was outstanding. Welcoming, knowledgeable and attentive. You can tell she takes pride in her store and in her team. I witnessed her prompt her team while taking care of me to ensure everyone was welcomed and addressed as they entered the store. Prior to me I overheard her take care of a customer that had had issues were her frames and she was apologetic and offered to personally take care of the issue while also offering a discount. Thats grade A customer service. I have been a long time Lens Crafters customer but I had never been treated so well. I will definitely be coming back to this store as long as Mary is here.
I was assisted by Mike he was extremely nice and helpful and had a great customer service.
If I could give no stars, I would.I went to my eye doctor appointment, I was a first time patient. I had insurance so I used my insurance. The person who took me back to start my exam told me I had a co pay of $10 and another fee of $107. I honestly was thinking that was going towards my contacts. I brought my old boxes with me, so they knew what my current prescription was. I had been wearing that prescription for 7 years. After the doctor did her eye exam, she told me my right eye changed slightly. She went to get a sample of what my new prescription would be. When she came back into the room, she told me she didnt have what my new prescription would be, so she brought a pair of my exact prescription I all ready had. She told me to wear those for a week and then come back. I didnt come to that appointment, I actually called asking for my prescription. I was not happy she charged me for a fitting for a prescription I have had for 7 years. How am I supposed ot know if the slight change in my right eye would be ok, since she never gave me That prescription. I asked for that money back, since I all ready paid for that contact lense fitting to my old doctor. Had she allowed me to try the new prescription change, I would have accepted I had to pay for a fitting. They gave me the excuse that I was a new patient. I would have gladly got them my records from old eye doctor. I highly suggest staying away from this place. They will gladly take your money knowing they arent giving you the correct service for what you paid for. So in the end, I paid twice from the same fitting in my current prescription. That is not ok.
Mine was super nice to just fix a pair of sunglasses for me!
I had a great experience! I appreciate the personal service while discussing the best options for my perticuar need. I feel great about sharing this excelent service with others while at Lenscrafter, The Streets shopping center in Hillsboro, OR.
Great staff. Very friendly and helpful.
Thank you so much Katie! I can see again!!!
Adjustment was easy and he was great!
This is the worst glasses and contact lenses experience I have ever had. We go in their to get glasses and contacts. The staff was useless in trying to get the glasses ordered. The assistant manager had to come over and do some kind of override just to get the glasses ordered. Two weeks later, i get a call stating that they cant get my glasses. I could have went to zennioptical and got glasses sooner. The contacts were not even ready. We actually work and live 45 min away. They didnt even try to work with us on a day and time to get the contacts. Now we have to waste time and gas to go back there when its convenient for them. It has just been a complete nightmare. This should be a good experience to get a new pair of glasses and contacts. Will never come back here again.
Trash store! Don’t go there!! Very bad experience, the staff was rude and unfriendly to non-white people!!!
Experienced the best service here. Joey went above and beyond to fix my glasses. On top of that, he was very personable and kind. Highly recommend this location.
A few month ago I need to replace lens in my glasses. After quick phone discussion where I describe reason of my visit they have scheduled office appointment. When I came to this office they complain that frame of my glasses have not be sold in store and they can only sell new lenses with new frame which in sale in store. I declined this service and successfully replaced lens of my glasses in another company, who also did not sell frame of my glasses.
Horrible service. They don’t even have ranch.
Very knowledgeable and friendly
Ordered me the wrong brand of cantacts without my permission
Great service, friendly people and a wide selection of glasses to choose from. I highly recommend this place.
I just had the worst customer service experience over the phone with a retail associate at the Tanasbourne Lenscrafters. I had called to discuss an issue I was having with a pair of glasses I had purchased from them a few months ago. The woman was so rude and obviously did not want me showing up at the store (because then she would actually have to do some work?). She even suggested that I take the issue to the Lenscrafters in Washington Square! So she gets one star for telling me to go elsewhere, because I got excellent customer service at the Washington Square Lenscrafters.
Great experience! Over exceeded my expectations. Would highly recommend for an eye exam.
Initially, I thought this was a great experience. I love the selection of frames, found lots that I adored, and settled on my favorite glasses and sunglasses. I let them know I was traveling, and she checked to make sure they had my lenses in stock so they could get them done by the next day. They were ready, the prescription looked good, and I thought things were fine.BUT - the sunglasses were the wrong pair. They were the same line (same color, same brand) but very different. I thought they were really uncomfortable, had them adjusted multiple times. I thought I was just terrible at choosing glasses because I HATED THESE. Finally, I went back and looked at the pictures I took in store of all of the glasses to see what it was that made them look better to me then. They are absolutely the wrong glasses. Theyve been pinching me, and they are just super ugly on my face shape. Im really embarrassed by how many people saw me in these.Im in the process of having them fixed at a store down here, so at least theres that. This has never happened to me in 23 years of wearing glasses - getting the wrong frames. So weird. You guys especially need to have a mirror available when youre picking up glasses. I was hesitant with these, and she assured me they looked right. I dont know why I let them convince me that Im an idiot who doesnt know what my glasses should feel like. Kind of hate being handled into believing something is fine. They dont actually try to help you make sure its right before you leave.
I have been once and everyone was very nice, will come again. They had my glasses ready in less than an hour. Great customer service
I have an exam here every year. She is so good with the patient and takes time to answer your questions. Very thorough exam. I will not change to anywhere else.
First of all this was not my first exam I have been in glasses since adolescents my problem was with the Dr.! I had to get my prescription done twice and still was not right so I just went back to the original prescription as I couldnt use my insurance again for another 12 months and after the second exam i was told I am seeing 20/20 and that is the best it can be ..I see better in my 2year old glasses that are actually a little stronger than what she was putting me in. Also she did not even smile once as she walked in to greet me for the second appointment .i was very friendly to her. Not at all the person I met the first appointment! Also my eyes were scanned with a horrible green light with this machine to take a picture ..then I was told insurance usually does not cover it so if I want it it would be $35...(I should have been told that before they took the picture ) it was terrible ...needless to say i will not return! But the lenscrafters guys were great to Me.i had no problem with their customer service, and I was very upset a couple of times over the whole month long ordeal..but they stayed calm and professional! So thank you to the front of the house!!!
Couldnt even give them one star. First my prescription was grossly wrong. Once corrected they only could either fax me a copy (who has a fax number anymore - really?) or send it to me via a zipped and encrypted email that even the Russians couldnt hack. To top it off the people working the office were rude and totally unsympathetic. The only thing to show for my efforts is a brand new pair of useless glasses. Dont waste your time.
Very bad customer experience. Issues with lens, not happy with service in store. Approached customer care and no response after 5 days SLA, reported incident again and no response after 24h SLA. Loosing trust that lenscrafters can gain my satisfaction back.
The staff on the phone (Marry) was very rude.
Jolynn is fantastic! She sat with me for a good 30 min and helped tinker with my glasses to help sit it as best as possible! Thanks!!
I went there for my eye exam and purchased eyeglasses and contact lenses for almost 2 years ago. Theyve been spamming me with actual USPS letters since then. I moved and they somehow got my new address and keep spamming.
Would give a negative star if possible. Service proved to be inept and required moving to another doctor to get it resolved. Trying to get records was denied by one of the most confrontational and rude doctors associates I have ever dealt with on 5/7/18. Lenscrafters itself has never been an issue till came to this outlet. I do not say avoid Lenscrafters but from my wifes and my own experience I do say in my opinion avoid this outlet at all costs. The doctors servicing this outlet and their staff and completely unrecommended.
Terrible experience. The gal who helped me was new so it wasnt her fault but the overall experience was bad. I bought 1 pair of glasses and 1 pair of sunglasses - they forgot to tint the sunglasses and also forgot to change them to a bifocal. Told me to come back in an hour - still wasnt done so I went home and never heard from them! I wont recommend this Lenscrafter and I wont be coming back. Whoever the Guy/Gal is thats in charge just sits in the back talking about people and laughing - ignoring people that need help. I know this because they talk loud enough for anyone to hear. Very disappointing
Worst optical, they don’t help you with the Benefits and claims, they will say everything will be covered and then send the bill, don’t go for this optical. Especially Katherine A. Ruecker
Great friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff. Highly recommend this particular lens crafter.
I have never been treated so horribly by staff until today while picking up my glasses. There was an obvious mistake in my prescription, but yet the GM, Nicole, kept telling me to wear them for 2 weeks. Obviously if I can read writing on the wall across the room without my glasses, but cannot with the glasses on, there is a definite problem.Long story short, I ended up getting a refund and not taking the glasses that I waited nearly two weeks for, and which I loved. The GM was laughing and smirking the whole time, and exuding a complete lack of tact and professionalism. Speaking to your customers as if they are idiots is not proper customer service. When I got home I called the store to see how I could reach the District Manager, and Nicole basically told me too bad, and continued to laugh at me. Very inappropriate.
Horrible customer service.
The staff here was very well trained and professional. Had some troubles getting glasses prepared on time though.
Was given poor information about the warranty of my glasses. The associate kept telling me to contact the manufacture for my issues and was very dismissive. Its actually the retailers responsibility to adhere to the warranty in store. She just referred me to a local eye glass place for my repair. Never again.
Dr. Katherine super nice!! Joey!! Amazing!
1st visit - even with them being busy, very friendly and knowledge about progressive lens
To schedule an eye appointment and have to wait an hour to be seen by the doctor is ridiculous. I will not return to this location.
I was not treated graciously by the staff and would not return to this location.
Terrible staff
This location is great! They had everything that I was looking for when it came to frames; the Doctor, who performed my eye examination, was very nice and thoughtful about the exam. Another standout is a gentleman named Mike. He was more than helpful when sizing my glasses to the point of picking them up in store a week later. Thanks again LensCrafters!
