As always King Soopers had everything I needed today stopped in for some dinner for the family tonight spare ribs, mashed potatoes, fresh cornbread and salad it was a hit dad is a hero thanks again King Soopers. I almost forgot I also got ice cream cones different varieties what a great time to have on an 80° day thanks again Kroger, please leave me a like
Conveniently located and the staff is very friendly. This is our go to store for grocery. Also it’s easy to find parking space right in front of the store most of the times.
Pharmacist completely ignored me for about 20 minutes…first customer was ignored as well…got skipped….very unprofessional in my opinion…more like jack in the box than king sooper…my prescription was somehow stuck at the Boulder king sooper…pharmastist said she couldn’t get around to having my doctor cancel the one in Boulder and send a new one to her store today…I told her I would get around to the review however
Fantastic floral department! The manager does beautiful work, I ordered three arrangements all three where ready on time and looked better than I had imagined! I will definitely be coming back!
Dont ever order vegetables for pick or delivery. I purchase 4 in-vine tomatoes and I received 4 extremely soft/not eatable tomatoes. I ordered a bag of Italian Mix Salad and I received a wilted bag of not eatable lettuce. I also order a half a gallon of orange juice. I received a half a gallon alright, but it expires in 6 days. I live by myself! Really!!!NEVER AGAIN!!!Perhaps King Soopers should pay a little more attention especially these days when food is so expensive. I perceived this behavior as follows: Listened up people, when picking food for the to go orders pick the oldest dated item and pass it on to the consumer. Better then than us!
My wife and I love the S. Quebec store. The store manager, Corynne is the best. She is definitely the reason we go to this store exclusively. If I could I would give her 6 stars. My wife and I are in the store a lot and witness her positive interactions with her employees as well as her loyal customers. She knows many of her customers on a first name basis. It is a big job and she is great at it!
Always a great shopping experience and lots of good selections! One of the best grocery stores in the country! Highly recommended!
TJ is the BEST! Thank you so much for your help and fantastic Customer Service!
That store manager corynne is the hardest working manager I’ve ever come across! How do you think that store always looks so nice! Because she runs a good crew. I see it all the time!!!!!
Drove here just to find out that they changed their hours without notice and arent posted correctly.
5 stars only for “Jeanea” or Her name start with “J”. I do not exactly remember her name. She was working on March 20, 2021 between 8:45 pm to 9:50 pm Saturday night in self checkout section. Excellent customer service, so humble and hardworking Lady. Very nice and soft spoken, helpful. Not only 5 stars I would like you give her all the stars of the universe🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.......
In the past week, the wait time in the checkout lanes has been 20-40 minutes. The store is half empty with stock.
Corynne Jones, the store manager is a nightmare. She couldn’t careless about her employees or her guests. She sits in her office eating food while the check lanes backup and her department heads are running around like mad men. She can’t keep anyone employed because she harasses, belittles, and picks favorites amongst her employees. If you want peace while shopping, DONT COME HERE. She’s on the intercom being snarky and calling out people and customers in such an unprofessional way. DONT WORK HERE, DONT SHOP HERE.
Joseph Schreober: The pharmacy picture you took is a Safeway pharmacy.
Very impressed with their grocery pick-up option. They were fast, friendly, and socially distanced. They placed my items neatly in my trunk and made sure to check expiration dates on each item. I will definitely be picking up my groceries from here again in the future!
This was our go to grocery store since we live right around the corner. The staff is generally great! However, they seem to have gone downhill over the past 3/4 months. They don’t have stock on so many items on a regular basis while other locations do. Their pick up system is a mess. 60% of the time I make an order I get a call (and sometimes don’t get notified until I am there to pick up the order) that they are running 1-1.5 hours behind. On the last occasion I received my order on time, but when I arrived home I realized I had someone else’s order. When I called to fix the error, they seemed incredibly unorganized and had me list every item I had purchased and every item I had received that wasn’t mine. They seemed very unfazed by the inconvenience and acted like it was a comical situation. They need to address their pick up system issues.
Not a very nice King Soopers, the people who work there are kinda unfriendly.
I just cant anymore. This used to be my grocery spot but have stopped going for one main reason. Its the annoying lady that gets on the intercom multiple times with a condescending announcement reminding shoppers to wear masks. She says things like - they need to cover both your mouth and your nose. Does she get paid to just hang out by the intercom? We get it. Theres a mask mandate. I dont need that drilled into my head. I started going to Safeway where I can shop in peace without a snarky grocery store manager on a Wizard of Oz power trip making annoying announcements.
I’ve never met such RUDE FLORISTS in my entire Life. And on Mother’s Day weekend WOW- Bravo you old bags! I’ll never shop here again. We spent a lot on our flowers and the ladies working today were SO Rude I AM APPALLED! You should be ashamed of yourselves. May 8 2021
Update: I have decided to change my review after giving this location another chance. My prior review is below for reference. The last few pickup sessions have been perfectly fine and accurate. Perhaps there was a change in hiring or something else, but everything has been good for the last few sessions. I hope it stays that way.Previous review:I am a very reasonable person. Very few things bother me and I am very forgiving, especially during covid. This king soopers has been my go to for groceries since well before the pandemic began. I used their pickup service before covid and long after it started without any major issue. For whatever reason, they have messed up my last 3 pickup orders IN A ROW. Completely missing items, giving me other peoples orders, and now I am sitting in the lot waiting for another customer to come back with my order that they were given incorrectly.I dont know what changed, but I cant handle this anymore. I am completely done with this king soopers and will not be giving them any more of my service. DO NOT use the pickup service at this location.
Pharmacy had exactly the allergy product I needed. Shelves stocked. Friendly service. Clean. Also Service Desk Friendly and fast. Nice store. Will be back to do groceries.
Hostile workers, especially on Thanksgiving. We had five minutes and the employees were nagging all the customers to leave, and then one literally yelled at us to check out because they were closing. I understand they want to go home on a holiday, but a customer grabbing one pie shouldnt make them so upset. Last time we shop here, for sure.
Just a quick shout out to my bagger today. I asked the check out clerk to put me down for 3 bundles of firewood, which I fully intended to grab myself when I all of a sudden see my bagger loading the bundles onto my cart. Thank you! Great service!
I have lived on this side of town for over eight months and every time I have gone to this King Soopers, it has been a nightmare. Every time I have gone into the store, you cannot move up and down the aisles easily because they are working to put product away. This is really upsetting because now you cannot social distance. They are often out of stock of basic items and customer service is non existent. Tonight was the final straw.I want to preface this part with: I suffer from chronic arthritis from my time in the military and there are times I cannot walk around a store and take medication that reduces my immune system.I placed an online, pickup order. I left work early for my arrival window that I selected between 3:00pm-4:00pm. I even got a nice text message from King Soopers saying “My pickup window is coming up.”I get to the store, I check in through the app. Sit in the lot for 30 minutes. I start losing my patience and call the store. I get a hold of of a young woman who crassly told me “Someone called you to tell you we are late.”1. No one called me.2. If I talked to a customer like that, I would have been fired.I then got told that my order would be ready at 5:30pm.I go home, furious over that interaction. But I needed my groceries.I return to that location at 5:30pm. I call in and start waiting.Five minutes into waiting, I get a phone call saying that “I’m sorry, the order is not ready.” I politely ask how long. She informed me “45 minutes to an hour.”I told her to cancel the order. On my way home, I called Safeway asking if they would help me. The Store Director personally started shopping the store for me, met me in the parking lot and loaded the groceries for me.I am never going back to any Kroger brand stores ever again after this experience. No accountability, you call and complain and they do not care. I have been shopping with them for 10 years, not one more day.
This location has become my least favorite. I get mad at myself every time I go there. There has been a huge turnover in staff some of whom transferred to the Holly and County Line location which is where I normally go now. This store has continually reduced its variety over the last 2 years. Its to the point where I can no longer find many of the items I consider essential for what I cook. The freshness of the produce over the last year or so has also greatly declined at this and other locations too. I now shop at Safeway for produce. The deli counter is still very good and has good people. The store is not a total loss but its decline is so disappointing.
I shop at a lot of grocery stores around the area, including many King Soopers. This is the best run store, with the friendliest staff ever.
No Apple Pay... Really King Soopers?? Get with it, cmon.
Terrible curbside pickup. In addition to delayed pickup, substitutions were awful, what a waste. Red cabbage is not a substitute for cauliflower.
4 Stars because overall this is a good place to shop. Usually well staffed, well stocked and good prices. However, -1 for two issues.First issue, they seem to be reducing staffing and pushing people to use the self check out lanes more often. Self check out is fine if you are buying a couple items but last night with 2.5 hours before close, I had $180 worth of food and only the self check out was open. I asked the staff if they could call someone and the manager came but insisted I use the self check out before walking away. It took me 20 minutes to check out and had to call the self check out clerk 5-8 times because issues with the scale and the slowness of swiping in comparison to say self check out at other locations like target.Second issue is the staff. I understand the demographics/median income in Centennial and the associated difficulty with hiring but the appearance of many of the staff does not present well for King Soopers. Multicolored hair, piercings, weird/awkwardness and overall creepiness level might want to be reduced.
Great store great people that are willing to help you in every way they can
I have never had a negative experience at this location, thought until now nothing quite exceeded expectations for a grocery store. Tim (who likes sports) took the time to answer a question I had that was a bit out there. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and really made my experience here outstanding.
This location CANNOT and SHOULD NOT operate the pick up order service any longer. My pick up window was between 5-6 PM. I arrived at 5:44 thinking that should be enough time for everything to be ready. It’s now 6:27 and I am still waiting. Worst part, the older lady beside me was already here when I arrived! No telling how long she’s been here. I did this to save time for my family so we could enjoy more time together on the weekends doing things instead of grocery shopping. This is literally taking 3x longer...maybe even more by time I get out of her. And oh, I had a dinner engagement that started at 6. So much for that.
Lady at self check thinks shes the mask police. I wore a mask correctly and she still told me to adjust it. Get a life... I walked out. Im always super friendly to them too. Keep your politics to yourself.
Usually these people are really nice, the last three times I’ve been to this location the people at the service desk have been incredibly rude and seemed very inconvenienced by helping me. It’s really unfortunate that I’ve had this experience multiple times. I wish this wasn’t the case, I’ll just start going to the king Soopers on county line and holly. I apologize for inconveniencing you guys so much that you can’t even look me in the eye and say things to me in a kind manner. Have a nice day.
The Saturday before Thanksgiving and no one is working in the bakery. After waiting 10 minutes, I called the store from the bakery department. A customer service rep finally answered and told me because no one was working today, ask the deli to slice the loaf of breadOf course they were also busy and so I had to wait in line only to be told the deli folks who could slice were busy with other customers. Eventually I was waited upon. The people who work in the store are typically friendly and helpful. As was the gentleman who sliced my bread. But what should have been a 10 minute trip to pick up bread and butter for a tailgate turned into a 35 minute ordeal.
Nice store and nice people! Great customer service, thank you guys for checking tons of our lottery tickets and helping with money sending! We appreciate you attitude and patience.
I had to take my $180 order through U scan and bag it myself because the front end was such a disaster. Corynn Jones was standing right there and saw the que vision was at 3 but lanes open were 2 and she did nothing to alleviate the pressure of the front end, she had zero baggers and not enough checkers. Instead she went to the floral department and decided she needed to play with the arrangement of balloons. This is inherently one of the biggest problems with how some of the King Soopers are run, management like Miss Jones does store walks and calls it work while the rest of the team suffers. The customer does not get the service they need while Miss Jones plays with balloons and calls it her job. Next time she should jump in and actually help and be productive for the store, not rearrange balloons.
Awesome grocery store with very good prices and awesome product. the only thing I wasnt too thrilled about was how they watch you from the ends of the Isles... Dont they have cameras for that kind of thing? I did see a ton of cameras in there, so I dont know why people were watching down the aisles. On a side note their natural area is the best Ive seen in a long time!
GREAT prices, lots of parking, large store with great selection. A large Starbucks near the front of the store. A sushi chef in the deli making fresh sushi. A great selection of Boars Head meats and cheeses. Good layout. And the theres no other grocery stores in two miles in any direction.
I walked in to Kings today and saw Bill who is usually behind the deli he was up front greeting customers. I just want to say how helpful he has always been. And I come there a lot. Bill is always taking the time to see how I am doing and my family. One day I came in very upset because we had a death in the family and I needed some meat trays right away. He never asked me to come back to pick it up or anything he said Tiff I will get that made for you right now and I am sorry for your loss. That is what customer service is all about. Thank you Bill for being so great!!! You get FIVE stars from me.
The people who work here are nice and helpful. The store itself doesnt smell inviting and always looks to be having repair work done. I dont understand why there arent higher standards here and at most of the grocery stores around Denver.
Good location, but this was one of the stores scheduled for re-design so that our gotta in the current mode of other stores. This means that theyre open through construction, and the parking lot is a tad cramped at time of this review (3/20/19).This store is currently piloting the Scan, Bag, Go system too, so if youre curious to see what the forte of shopping might look like, go try it out!
Clean and well stocked
As a place of good food good Munchies clean soap good water better soda full strength beer and hotties from pastries 2 tuna steaks. Hot women everywhere that you knew that they can cook because theyre buying food oh yeah I tried my luck with one after the other I guess youre looking for a better quality man can geologist shot me down I broke at my best lines like hey baby you want to go home with me and maybe share a Snickers or oh my God your ear. She looks just like that cauliflower but I got no play I dont know whats right thats quality stuff right there
Best place to shop. Very clean, great prices, friendly staff, easy layout to find items. Always the place to go for a plethora of things. Produce is very fresh as well and their brand is quality food at a reasonable price. I would always recommend and I dont know where else I would ever go.
This store basically closes at 8. They made the “main entrance” the side entrance and I watched multiple people walk up to closed, locked doors. The main doors should be under your giant lighted logo. Definitely not want you want to be greeted with as a customer. The meat section was severely picked over and no seafood after 8. It’s a shame as the remodel has made this store second rate, very disjointed from a flow plan perspective for the customer. This used to be a better store. Needs better management and retail common sense.
I was put on hold by customer service after I asked to speak to grocery for a simple question; 8 minutes later a different customer service person picked up and I told her the same thing, Im trying to speak to someone in grocery for a question. She finally transfers me over to a guy in grocery who said he would check on the grocery item in question and left the line open and never came back on the line. I finally hung up after over fifteen minutes on hold so I never got my question answered. Horrible customer service!
They can always help you find something. They carry many foods and things you need when baking or cooking. One stop shopping! The staff is pretty nice too.
Been shopping here since 2000, great neighborhood grocery. This store is a bit smaller than a regular King Soopers, as it used to be a Cub Foods. For specialty items, theres 2 normal sized King Soopers within 10 minutes of this one, so not to worry. This store is also going through a major facelift, so theres a bit of construction going on inside, but itll be a nice store when thats done.
This King Soopers is awesome! Very clean place, friendly staff. I recently switched to their pharmacy and the staff was very helpful and answered all of my questions without any issues. Would definitely recommend!
Cashier walked away from register after finishing with the customer ahead not me without saying a word. Id been standing in the line for awhile and also had someone behind me. Employees and this location need better training.
This is my favorite go to supermarket. Everything is super clean, fresh and well stocked. Download the app and you are sure to beat prices anywhere in town. The best hours to shop is daytime as night time their meat and seafood selections become limited. Overall a preferred grocery experience.
I shop here all the time. I just love Emily the young checker. Shes always smiling and positive. She wasnt there today but just wanted to mention her.* Tonight Paul from the deli went out of his way to make me a fresh party platter without me even mentioning that! I just asked if it will still be fresh in a couple days. What a pleasent surprise! He made my day! Thanks again Paul! (I hope I remembered his name right...😬)
Just really bad, especially since the revisions. I am keto and depend on affordable nuts, cheese, olives, and meat, and I dont feel I can shop here any more. Theyve removed some of my favorite things like the olive bar, replaced with very overpriced tiny containers of olives. I was always cautious about buying cheese here and lately its been incredibly bad- somehow the cheese I buy from here is always growing mold within a few days. I can no longer find the additive-free nuts I used to purchase and was forced to try the very overpriced (new) bulk section (bulk is supposed to be cheaper, but no one told Kroger that?) for my cashews, and they were... Not quite soggy... But certainly not what I have come to expect when I eat a cashew? After having eaten them I now feel mildly nauseous with an itch in the roof of my mouth meaning some additive/etc has triggered an allergy of mine (I am not allergic to cashews or any nuts by themselves). They over-roast their store brand macademias leaving them rubbery and gross. And shopping for groceries is already unpleasant enough without having strange men assume your real purpose for grabbing that shopping cart is to find some random dude to hook up with (see above poster). This is also the only place in my entire life that Ive almost been hit as a pedestrian in the parking lot by a driver who then proceeded to get out of his car and yell at me for flinching and shaking my head (and I grew up in Chicago). Personally Im going elsewhere to purchase food from now on.
The attendant working customer self checkout was incredibly rude and chomping gum will trying to help a customer. I would expect a little bit of more professionalism been chomping on gum while youre trying to work and talking to a customer. Obviously needs more work on customer etiquette.
I love this store because it offers Scan-Bag-Go. You take a scanner, scan your items, bag them in your cart. Then go to the u-scan and pay. Saves time and streamlines the whole shopping trip.
They had many things on the shelf that were dilapidated and old. One of the Pepsi cans we got was actually popped (getting a mess) and another was flat. One of the frozen dinners we picked out we also broken. They need to do a better job of ensuring good products.
The manager jojo is very rude so is the store manager ill never speak to them again not worth my time. But over all its a very nice location to shop for anyone else.
Great vegan selection. The best out of the few different stores Ive been to. Lots of vegan cheese, lunchmeat, and a really large frozen section!
I love coming here, the staff is friendly and helpful. We go almost everyday so the workers recognize us and always say good morning and have a smile on their face. Great deals!
The cashier was delighted when she saw that I had placed all the soda can boxes so that the bar codes were easily scanned. I like how fast that made it to check out!
This is a fairly typical location for them, and if you go to natural grocers, its what you would expect
Got our wedding cake from here and these ladies nailed it. Beautiful and tasted amazing plus the price was incredible. Kayla and I think Tasha are so good.
Its where we most of our groceries. Its convenient. It has gone down hill. Shelves not always stocked. Items we buy not there anymore or not stocked. Deli salids terrible now.
Nice. Friendly neighborhood store. Was clean. People were helpful. Good parking.
Lack of customer support in the bread isle was very disappointing, especially after several employees walked by without asking if I need any help. King Soopers is better than that!
This Stores manager does not know how to treat customers or her employees. Not a surprise no one wants to work for her.
Timmy Served very great customer service! What a great location with great staff.
Friendly and helpful staff. They always ask if I need any assistance with anything. The self checkout usually moves quickly.
Above and beyond! My girlfriend forgot her phone in the bathroom when we went for a late night icecream run, right before close. We realized it later at home, but by that time they were closed. Drove over and called the store, picked the customer service option on the phone and someone answered! AFTER HOURS!He found the phone and brought it out to us! I wish we had a bunch of cash on me in thanks, but I didnt. And I dont remember his name, but he went above and beyond and I cant say enough of how much I appreciate that!
Overall a good store. Just what you’d expect out of a grocery store.
Convenient, good selection, nice produce, friendly customer service, affordable prices. Think this store has hit the balance as well as any Ive seen.
They are always very pleasant and helpful and accommodating there. Connor does an awesome job in the floral department helping me to find the best flowers for my wife.
This is one of the better King Soopers in the area. Plenty of parking and the staff is very friendly. We have had more luck with the produce here. Although its around a high traffic area, it never feels like that in the store.
This store in general is put together in my opinion. I always shop at Kings. Here’s the problem, People of color are looked down upon by employees as if we are not allowed to be at this location. It’s your job to serve everyone regardless of race, sex, religious beliefs, so on. If you don’t like your job there’s always other options. Don’t treat people bad because of the skin they were born in.
It was a short but quick trip thanks to the self check out.
They need to have a manager watching and backing up if needed on the self-checkouts. Took me 20 minutes to get through it.
Large, clean grocery store with good produce and selection. Theyre good at opening extra checkout lanes when busy so the wait is short.
No cashier baggage area to small for all the items I had. had to keep calling for assistance because not enough room for my things. Customer service has gone away you dont get it anymore
The woman working at the island/salad and cheese counter was one of the most genuine, helpful, friendly people Ive ever met in a grocery store. What a gem. Give her a raise or three.
Very nice grocery store. I popped in here for a snack and was surprised at the selection of produce and pre-cut produce available. I wish this was my local store!
Like all Kings, a great grocery store with a penny, kids, horse ride (free pennies, too). Bit of a small and squirrelly parking lot, though. Still, a big store with all that you need for food!
Very helpful and very friendly staff and costumers will go back again
This is a pretty nice Kind Soopers. Its not the best but theres nothing wrong with it either. The layout and selection matches most other Kind Soopers in the Denver area. The parking lot is a little tight - a common issue with King Soopers parking lots.
Friendly services, good prices and quality products.
Love the store, especially the deli. Every employee Ive come in contact with has been extremely personable and helpful.
Well stocked, mix of quality and value, staff trained in delivering good customer service.
I love this store, but will be glad when this latest renovation is done. It is hard to find things.
Friendly employees always asking if they can help me find what i need, they where the 1st store that i seen have my favorite Body Armor sports drink n for a good price, I stop here every Thursday to get my food, sport drinks, water, n coffee from Starbucks
Very clean store with great customer service and produce is excellent.
Well merchandised. Had the product we were looking for. Very fast checkout. Clean store. Friendly service.
Great selection and checkout was warm a thankful I was there
Kevin in the meat department really helped my wife out yesterday. Needed a pork shoulder for a dinner party we planned. Got everything except the pork shoulder. Went back and found out that there were no pork shoulders ready for sale. Kevin got one out of some boxes in the back and cut the sucker to size. Saved the day!
A young man with sparkling green eyes and a smile that kills helped me friday at the self check outs. I think his name was Thomas. Ill be returning to this location not only because its the closest to my home, but because I wouldnt mind running into him again.
Smaller King Soopers.. But good selection. Easy access from C470 and Quebec.
Great location. Great selection. Well laid out store.
