Clean and well laid out. Web site inventory and instore did not match not really acceptable in this day and age for items that dont exactly fly off the shelves. Some how HD stores are just not as bright and inviting as the competition.

My go to big hardware store. Usualy have what Im there looking for and Im familiar with the layout so I can get in and out quickly. If you go on Saturdays go early, they get crowded quickly.

Gotta watch out for the rude time clock punchers. Other then that, a decent place to shop.Lowes down the street is better though, theyre a lot more helpful. Enjoy ! 😎

Warning I would like to give the public a fair warning before they rent equipment from this location. A recent rental has created great grief and frustration for me a customer. Due to the lack of knowledge of rental employees and what appears to be lack of a regular maintenance program I have been left in a desperate situation. The Manager of this location was very apologetic unfortunately that does not improve my predicament. The repair division of the rental portion I found to be very arrogant and operates under their own set of rules which are I am told are not controlled by the store but rather operate independently. I am aware equipment is subject to break downs but this should not become a major ordeal for a customer who is just trying to complete a project. You may want to make sure you are using a rental company which has well serviced equipment capable of performing the task you have decided to undertake. Best of luck a very dissatisfied customer. Matter resolved but had to involve my credit card company to resolve it.

Those in charge (corporate) should be ashamed of their purchasing practices (questionable origin countries). Buy USA made. Ill be glad to pay a little more just so we arent dependent on countries bent on destroying our economy.

Great store & prices, but I can ever find help on the area Im searching. They need help! Ive actually been left with a storage bins with no lid, and found 4 employees in other parts of the store for help. No one could help me. I ended up at the register & the person called over the speaker for me to get help.Mo one came. I left the storage bin at the register and went home. :(

I ordered items for curbside pickup.I never have done this before.but i had surgery a few days prior and didnt feel like walking. I got the notification that my items were ready for pickup. I pulled up and responded to the notification that i was there..waited 30 min. Disgusted and still in great pain.i trudged my way inside the store to see what was the holdup. All of my items were in the pickup bin..no apologies or thank you from the staff. I would not recommend

Ordered a shelf that needed to be cut to length. This location made no attempt to help me find a solution. They said they could not do it since it was a special order. Went to Lowe’s and they were happy to help.

On numerous occasions at this Home Depot I have called in orders and waited 24-72 hours and still no call to tell me the order is ready, when I do show up I spend an hour or more waiting on them to pull the order after having anywhere between 24-72 hours. Today was no exception and two different stories were told as to why it wasn’t pulled, and as of now I will no longer place orders or do business with the High Point location. Some advice to people buying from here, drive 10 minutes longer and head to Greensboro where your in and out and it’s properly managed.

This particular Home Depot is, visit by visit, causing me to check here before Lowes right down the street from it. Its less crowded, better self checkout system, better organized, friendlier staff, often surprising discounts (if you check online 1st), and less stressful shopping experience. These things add up. You get the impression that they are doing it on purpose. Ya know, treating customers better, stocked items are frequently re-organized and cleaned up, not avoiding you when you have a question. Maybe not as big as the Lowes, but if the item I need is at both stores... Home Depot on North Main in HP. I am sure I am not the only person who has noticed these things. In an age where Amazon will deliver next day, brick and mortar stores need to be a more attractive option in more ways than just stats and gimmick perks for using their store credit card offerings.

I love this Home depot. Everything is stocked neat and visibility of items is great. I had to make a large Lumber order and Denise at the Pro desk helped ne, she was awesome. She knew her stuff and was so professional, yet very nice. I also like that everyone in paint was awesome too. I had a young lady in lighting that was on the money, she knew her stuff and really took time to help me.. The staff at this location are the best. They are knowledgeable and helpful . I will return here from now own for my HD shopping. I highly recommend this store.

I used to go to Lowes all the time but they kept discontinuing everything I bought. And you couldnt find anyone. This Home Depot is a huge store and has a great selection of products. There is also someone always close to ask a question.I use their app and it tells me what aisle a product is on. This store also has a tool rental dept. You can rent a small item such as a tool, saws, floor cleaning, trenchers, stump grinder, backhoe.I bypass my local Lowes store many times and will drive 12 miles further one way to go here.

The most Horrible Customer Service I’ve ever experienced. I went on Wednesday to get some outdoor lighting for a friends Birthday. His birthday was Friday. Now is SUNDAY Still haven’t got my Order!!!! Was told by 2 people yesterday it was there only to drive up there today and find out ITS NOT THERE And won’t be there until TUESDAY. That’s SEVEN DAYS TO GET ONE PACKAGE SHIPPED 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. Will NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN AND NEITHER WILL MY FAMILY!!!!!!

Ordered a wheelbarrow online for curbside pick up at the High Point store at 11 am Wednesday morning as of 6pm Wednesday night still no confirmation that it was ready to pickup. What happened to the TWO hour wait. Their curb side pick up is a joke!!!!!! But they didnt hesitate to take $$ off of debit/credit card. Cancelled the order now got to wait THREE days for them to put it back? What the hell. Will NOT shop at that Home Depot ever again.!

Very disapointed. Was excited to rent a dump trailer to save us alot of time for moving dirt. But no one told us we had to keep it charged up so the batteries would dump the dirt. Now my son has to shovel 6 yards of top soil by hand. The girl working in the rental dept very rude.....but i will say the manager James was very good at handling a irate customer.

All the iles were blocked an you couldnt get through them with a buggy so we left.

Waited over 20 minutes and Lawn & Garden for an associate. Had to have them page someone three different times when the person finally arrived they had no idea about lawn mower belts at all. Went down the road to Lowes and got good customer satisfaction

My cashier greeted me by saying whos next followed by complaining about her problems. When I told her I wanted a grill outside, she told me to provide the sku of the item, rather than having outdoor items skus located at her register OR offering to look it up. Its not my responsibility to do your employees job. After completing purchase she said thanks. What she didnt do was call someone to unlock the grills. I had to tell her they were locked. She gave me a huff and walked off to customer service. She went to get help while I went outside. She came out and asked if I was the person who bought grill from her 2 minutes ago. I was her last customer, and the only one who had gotten a grill in last 10 minutes. I said yes with a little irritation at this point. She said well let me see your receipt. I see like so many people a day I dont remember people dude dont give me problems. The guy with her that unlocked grill just stood away and silent. Cant blame him. The cashier, Julie, was abysmal. This transaction with a useless employee that I had to tell how to do her job, has about driven me from the store, especially with me dropping several hundred just today, not to mention the amounts Ive bought in paint and tools for my house. Theres a competitor not 2 miles away and one in kernersville closer to my home. I can shop there instead of home depot.

I had delivery and availabily questions about a purchase and they were very curteous and accommodating.

This High Point Home Depot on North Main is excellent! Purchased paint and paint supplies for a friend. Don and the other employees were very respectful, helpful and extremely knowledgeable! They offered advice about painting on different surfaces and one of the employees gave me their personal cell number and told me call them anytime if I have any questions! Couldn’t ask for better service! A truly impressive store!

First Home Depot I have preferred over the nearby Lowes. Sometimes it feels like those places cant exist without each other. The people here have been helpful and they have a decent selection for most things. The layout of some of the aisles is a little odd. I saw a sign for a type of screws i needed but it was on the opposite side of the aisle about 10 feet away, not sure why that is but it couldve just been my own confusion.

Shout out to the staff in Rentals, always pleasant & knowledgeable!

The Home Depot is my 3rd favorite store cause I buy stuff, snacks, & sometimes drink. But in High Point, I use a drink vending machine to buy 2 drinks (Minute Maid: Fruit Punch & Dasani Water).

Bought a Weber grill, only to find out it was assembled wrong and was missing many parts. I phone Home Depot, got rerouted and disconnected 12 times ! Call Weber and they are sending me all the missing parts. So frustrating and disappointed.

Walked right in and found what I needed. The large display signs of items are a huge plus for such a big store! The store was so nice and clean too!!

Customer service is always horrible. I only went there because the were the only store with the item needed. Had to ask for help getting it down... guy was annoyed, I was told to go find a cart but of course none were around. I reached for a hand truck that was right there and was yelled at You cant use that!. COOL!. Asked for help at the register for loading it in my truck (80-100lbs) and was told to find someone in the parking lot. WOW! So ridiculous, Went to Lowes for similar appliance and the guy took it to the register and loaded in my truck with a smile and great attitude. Home Depot DO BETTER!

This is my go to Home Depot! There are 2 other stores that are closer to my house but the customer is severely lacking. I have always had a good experience at the High Point location. Its hard to think of a time where I have walked past an employee that didnt ask me if I needed help. The past two times I have been in there, both employees not only told me where to find the item Inwas looking for but they walked me to it. That is customer service, and this store has set the bar high on that note.

HD has a ton of products. Challenges are when you need assistance with DIY questions. While they dont advertise having those experts available, thats the subliminal advertisement, even in their name. Help with those is all dependent upon who you get at what time. Some guys have been terrific, saved me tons of time and $. Others, not so much...dont know their departments well, etc. Yesterday was a case of I knew more than the guy did. Last Monday, the young lumber guy was very helpful. Hi guarantees, but generally better for complex issues/ building than the blue folks, who have more design & decreasing/ finish and products.

Shopping for mailboxes. Good variety and price points. Waiting for their yearly mulch sale!

When checking out, tried to use a VISA Gift card for $100 but the cashier could not figure out how to use it and failed to ask anyone for guidance. Additionally she charged my Home Depot card for 100 (5/4 x 6 x 10) deck boards but I had bought only 10.

Home Depot is a great source of help. They dont run away from you or act like they are going to lunch all the time. Much better customer service than their advisory.

I can just get in and out without a hassle and then get to work I gotta say I personally prefer them over Lowe’s nothing personal I just like the fact that I am able to get what I need to get out and I don’t have any issues or wasted time and I think time is money so I’m happy about that:) thank you

Love the store and shopping is usually a breeze, but have NEVER had any luck getting them to answer the phone. Just have a simple question but after calling 4 times in 20 minutes and it just rings and rings......are you that busy to just say please hold?

The shopping experience was pleasant until my family and I were headed to self checkout with a few outdoor items, and were suddenly ran down by Donna, who claimed she wanted to assist us in ringing up our items and getting the price point of our umbrella right. This was strange enough since we didn’t ask or indicate we needed any type of help. And Yes, we are black people. So this came off very stereotypical. As I saw no customers of other races at self-checkout getting unrequested “assistance”. Please teach your employees to treat all customers equally with dignity and respect, especially during a time like this.

Everyone we asked for help was very polite and helpfully and on of the guys even joked around with us. I say if you need anything from The Home Depot on North Main Street go you want be disappointed.

Why do they send me an email telling me my order is ready and then let me stand in limbo for 30 minutes, telling me nothing and then when I ask about it, they say they couldnt find it. Do they think all I have is time to stand around in home depot? This store was great, now it is the worst!!
