I have been satisfied with service all along. My problem is with the website. It has not been working in months to be able to make payments. Is there a reason for this? Have reported the problem for the 3 monthsIm back with the same problem unable to make online payments.I have tried calling number listed on web site and called in to store asking for a corporate number?No one answers the phone nor will a phone call be returned. Considering the amount of turn over in those stores I would prefer to take my chances online.Is there a legitimate reason its still not working and if so why not take down banner offering online payments.
I passed by this place so many time so I decided to go in especially with Covid stopping most furniture manufactures from production this place was so great!!!! Fast knowledgeable and such friendly staff!! Susie got me in and out within 20 mins!!! 💥💥💥 THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWESOME AND I GOT DELIVERY THE VERY NEXT DAY!!!! They exceeded my expectations... the store manager was high energy and so pleasant I’m telling everybody about this place there prices are so affordable and there furniture is high quality!!! So glad I finally stopped in
I went in here to look at furniture and a guy named Doug was very rude and mean as I walked into the store, unprofessional and rude to employees and customers I will never purchase out of here ever

I have purchased multiple items since 2015 (very satisfied). I am Happy With All my Purchases. Fantastic service all round, delivery at stated time, delivery men very respectful and helpful. Although there have been a few bad employees that were quite rude to me I must say that 3 employees made my experience with Modern Home a little better. The store manager Heath has always been kind and understanding of certain situations and worked with me on payments and times. Kevin was also always very helpful and was available for me anytime I needed to speak with someone about my contact agreements. And Toyia was always kind and understanding when she made calls
🤕I understand that theres the pre-sale personality and the after sale personality. I also am aware that managers have a role in the store.I originally had good experiences with salesperson. (The only female employee)But that didnt last. Upon morning of delivery. I was given a delivery window of 10am - 1pmThe manager decided that the sales person didnt do a good job on my application.I found this out when I called at 1:30pm to see what happened to my delivery.Of course the manager is rude. 😟Fast forward, the application is fine. Really 😟. I get my delivery 7:15pm.Only after I have been back and forth on the phone. Hence, I missed an entire day.The furniture gets damaged.Even the delivery personal are more professional than the manager.They take pictures.😩Anyway I wont bother telling you the rest. But furniture returned and I am regretful I ever walked in the door.

1. Last year this store sold me a dirty cardboard feeling after 1 month couch set. Because it was cash, they wouldnt exchange or refund it.2. I came anyway to give then another chance. (Ill try to keep this brief but its worth a book on How to Not Treat Customers in 2 Days).Friday night they were receiving a shipment during business hours. It took 4+ employees to argue about the content while we waited for help.3. After 45 minutes of interruptions with the delivery guys talking to the sales woman while shes supposed to be helping customers, we pick our items reluctantly.4. Ill tell you what the argument was about. A salesperson who wasnt there to pick up his personal part of the store shipment loaded extra pieces onto the truck. There were apprx 15 pieces when the store only ordered 9. They had no where to put it and mattresses were ALL OVER the store. So she finally told them to put the persons stuff back on the truck and send it on to Archdale where the truck was heading. They said he always orders his personal items like this. I even had time as the soap opera unfolded to ask was this the owner ordering personal items? They said no. While we waited, I started talking with my son about our Thanksgiving menu. I mean, why not?5. In the meantime, in front of my son, theres cursing, constant interruptions, side chatter and cigarette smoke coming in the back door. FUN right? Did I mention the filthy grey dander-covered couch Burt tried to sell us? It set off our allergies but they said it was shampooed.6. We pick new recliners then the sales lady says come back tomorrow. The weekly rates will be half price. She said come at 830, first come, first serve for free delivery.7. Im there at 8:45. Shes not there yet but I mention jokingly, that the place looks great compared to last night. No one spoke out of the two male associates already there. I mention what I was there to pick up. The manager, says I have to order everything. I mentioned to him that she said only one recliner is coming from another store. The other is here on the floor. Burt, the manager said I dont know what youre talking about, wait for her. No one speaks. Employees come in grumbling and cursing to each other but no one asks if Ive been helped. Not even a good morning nod.8. She comes in after 9am with her hair bonnet on. I mentioned it to her just in case she forgot but she knew it. She sat down all her hair supplies on the counter, talked to her coworkers, answered her cell phone, and put hair foam in her hair while I waited at the counter with her. Then replies to the computer that her hair still looks like Sh**.9. She takes my app then says itll be 3 times what the price tags said after the half price sale. I asked why. She explained that I told several associates that Im going to take the items back after Thanksgiving. I said yes if theyre poor quality like the last sofa/loveseat set I purchased from you all. She said thats a temporary rental which requires one month deposit. I asked for the manager.10. A man whod been standing at a computer since I arrived (who heard/saw EVERTHING) came over and reiterated the store policy. I asked to see a contract. He said I havent paid yet. I said Im trying to be an informed consumer. Who pays then reads a contract? He said maam Im not trying to be harsh but youre trying to get something for nothing. You have to cover the costs of my guys going out there. I said it says free delivery up there on the wall. He walked away.11. I finally left after he made a scene in front of customers whod just walked in.12. I called the cooperate store. The guy pretended to be a manager but when he realized I wouldnt come all the way to Greensboro to spend money at his store, he never called back with a resolution.13. Thus, Im detailing this here because no one should be treated like this. Whatever policies or changes should be explained and reviewed that night, not the next day. I cant make this stuff up. Unbelievable.

Bad location need new staff even the manager needs to be replaced . I use my bank card with them the charged me 2 times and when I call back up there they said its nothing they can do. They was rude

Horrible! The arm of sofa torn during delivery they wouldn’t fix but wanted me to continue to pay not to mention they scuffed up my walls and tore up the door frame.
