I highly recommend anyone interested in purchasing and servicing at this establishment. Recently had some brakes light pop up and seemed that the electricals were tampered with which had connections to the brakes- maybe on the street somewhere. I dont know. But Josh Lever and Steve Fox & the service team understood the seriousness of this knowing that I have a family with 3 small children. In addition to oil change, we had noises that we thought were caused by the brakes as well as other issues. They thoroughly checked everything on our list and did not perform or suggest unnecessary work that would have been extremely expensive. They even stated that we did not need certain repairs right now. They are terrific and we totally trust them with our car.

My window is acting weird and kept rolling down whenever I rolled up. I was coming far and also had to go to work so someone in the morning assisted me with key drop off so I can rush to work. The staff is really nice here. Andrew was the service rep and was assisted me. Oddly the issue didn’t happen when I dropped of the car but it’s fixed now so no issues.

Stay away - rude, dishonest, don’t take responsibility for their mistakes.I made a service appointment on 08/04/21. At this time I explained that the vehicle is not registered will be towed to the service location. However, when the vehicle was brought for the appointment on 8/11/21, it wasnt allowed in on the basis that it wasnt register. After I explained that I had to spend over $400 on towing because they failed to convey this rule when I was making an appointment, the person who presented himself as the second in command, suggested that it wasnt his problem and do not have time to talk to me. Besides, he denied that I even had an appointment at all, which was a deliberate lie.
I had a great experience as always. They diagnosed my car and made recommendations on what to take care of now, and let me know what maintenance could wait until another time. Never a hard sell with these guys.

The staff at Platinum is excellent. Incredibly friendly and professional. I purchased my Volkswagen at another dealership but I will only get it serviced at Platinum because working with their crew is such a better experience. Ive got my vehicle serviced there twice and both times appointments were available within a week and the car was ready the following day. I highly recommend using them even if you did not purchase your Volkswagen with Platinum.
This is what VW service should be like! I called this VW service a few days after the Bayside service disaster (refer to my review there), and booked a service in 2 weeks time for 8 am and here is how it went... Got to the Platinum VW service at 8 waited in the car like for like 5 minutes, they took my car and I went inside where I spoke with Andrew, he took down all my info which was maybe 3-4 minutes, explained to me everything that would be done and told me that they will call me once its done. About an hour and 20 minutes later I get a call that the car is ready! 1st ser ice and inspection done! Perfect service and attitude!
Recently purchased a 2021 atlas had a little problem called the service center they told me bring it in for a scan my service advisor andrew was wonderful he informed me of the issue kept me informed throughout the repair process and I now have the car back in less than a week 🙂
My car is only 3 months old. This is the 3rd time it was in for the same problem (remote start). The part was back ordered, which was probably out of their control, however I was told I’d get a call in 2 weeks, it was more like 7 weeks. I was also told to keep my fuel low. While doing the service, they removed the base to my baby’s car seat and the mirror to see her. They did not even put these items back when they were finished. Also, they needed to put some gas in my car in order to test the remote start, they only put a quarter of a tank. I thought they could at least fill it up for all the inconvenience!
Very accommodating .. I got an appt the next day and my service gentleman Andrew kept in contact with me letting me know what was happening.
One of the managers Andrew was a great help here. Got my Lyft rides to and from the service department when I couldn’t get a ride. Also they finished doing the maintenance on my car in a timely manner.

They were wonderful! Andrew helped me with an oil change and checked up on a small issue I was having. I did schedule my appointment at noon which resulted in it taking a bit longer than expected because that is when they go to lunch.
They are very courteous and professional. They provided the Lyft ride for me after I drop off the car and arranged the Lyft to pick me up to pick up the car. They fixed the broken CarNet for me and I am pleased with their service.

Recently I leased a VW Atlas Cross from Platinum and had some issues with the sensors. I called the service dept and s/w Jennifer, she is the nicest and most professional person I dealt with in a long time. Called 3 times, got her on the phone every time. Always helpful! She made sure I had a loaner or a rent-a-car on a stand by if needed. I was in an out and service was great. I thank all who helped, but, special thanks to Jennifer. THANK YOU.
The service department at Platinum VW is really that good. I worked with Anthony and Andrew on two separate occasions for coolant leak on my VW Golf Sportwagen and both were professional and courteous. I did not get the name of the service technicians but they were also very professional. The ability to make online appointments and even have a video recording sent for review made the entire process smooth and effortless. I generally do all maintenance work on my cars but I would not hesitate using them for maintenance and major work.

I was very impressed with the Customer Service at VW Hicksville, Stephen and his staff were awesome. I initially thought that I would have to have my car overnight due to the engine light appearing on my dash last week and they fit me into their schedule as soon as they had a free day.They sorted out the issue all under warranty and called me by 3pm to advise my vehicle was ready. All in a days work. Thank you.My only small peeve is...I have been used to loaner cars with my other vehicles and unfortunately that is not provided by VW only courtesy lift drop off and pick up. Maybe one day they will look into it!

Dropped my car off for an 80,000 mile service. The service representative, Andrew was professional, courteous and a complete gentleman.
Service advisor Steve was very nice and professional, he saw me standing while all the waiting area was full then he nicely told me I could sit and wait at one of the office which was not occupied, it really makes me feel warm in this cold weather, he was the best and nicest services adviser I ever had. Very Professional...I live in New Jersey, but Josh Lever gave me such a great deal that I new I had to the purchase the car from Platinum. I brought the car back for service, yes all the way to Long Island. I figured Josh was so professional that the service team had to be too. I needed an oil change and front brakes in addition to two recalls. One of which I was unaware of and a time consuming job. John from service was great. Initially he told me that I would have to leave the car overnight. I explained to him that I was from New Jersey and he said he would see what he could do. Well at 3:20PM I got the call that the entire service was completed. I have bought many cars over my life and no dealer matches the professionalism that I receive from Platinums entire staff. Steve was fantastic in handling the service of my vehicle. When they got the vehicle they discovered a couple of recalls which needed to be addressed. He called me in the early afternoon to give me a heads up that they would need additional time and immediately offered a loaner vehicle. The entire process was excellent and efficient. I have always found the service department exceptional- both in service to the car and treatment of the customers. The appointment wait time was reasonable and all my questions are answered. Even during these difficult days of dealing with sanitary mindfulness, my cars interior was covered in plastic and wiped down before and after the work was done. For me, Platinum Service Department is tops!

I usually have a great experience here until today. I bought my car at this dealership and my lease is up. I went to the service department to return the car as instructed by their customer service representative. I was expecting a ride home as they normally provide. They told me they do not offer rides home for people returning cars.One would think that somebody returning a car may be in the market for another car and maybe the dealership wants to make a good impression to continue the relationship. Apparently that was an incorrect assumption.Response: The company’s reply just proves my point (thank you). I must commend them on their honesty, most companies just lie and say they have great customer service, this company does not sugarcoat the apathy they clearly have towards their customers, past, present, or future. Bravo Platinum! Your marketing plan and customer service practices must have come straight from the Wharton School of Business. Truly impressive.

I leased from here 3 years ago and was deciding if I should stay for another car. I had a great experience back then and once again they didn’t disappoint. My sales employee was Adam. From beginning to end he was so helpful in getting me into another lease. The process was simple and quick. I would absolutely recommend Adam for anyone who is on the fence.

I took my car here since my lights went on all at once. They take my car and said it would be $200 to take a look at it for the first hour. I decide to drop it off and wait for them to call me. About 3 hours later they call me and say my car is a flood car and need another hour to look into the car (and another $200) I say fine since a month prior I had paid $5K for it. I get there 25 min later and see my car parked behind 2 other cars in their lot and ask why they haven’t looked at my car further since I OK’d them to. The woman at the service counter said they already looked more into my car. I tell them they just called me 20 min asking for authorization to look into my car for another hour to see what water damage could they find in my car. Then some wannabe tough guy service manager comes out saying your car is a flood car and they will not touch my car anymore. They tricked me into paying another hour knowing they were not going to actually do an hours work. They said my car will likely not even make it to my house. Not only were they wrong, but that was over 37K miles ago that these idiots said my car was a complete loss. The wannabe tough guy service manager made it a point to say as loudly as he could that my car was “ a worthless piece of metal, and that I should just scrap it”. Stay away from here!

Purchased a 2016 VW Jetta at Platinum VW February 2020. Our salesman, Louis Velasquez, was so helpful & professional. I believe he gave us the best $deal possible. Any minor mechanical issues with this used car was taken care of, no problem. Our next car may be a VW Tiguan. I definitely recommend Platinum VW in Hicksville...go see Louis!

About a year ago we purchased a used 2004 Passat from an owner who only had it dealer serviced. I decided to continue with dealer servicing and after a recommendation from a friend selected Platinum for service. This is my sons first car and we wanted to be certain the car was well maintained. After our first visit to Platinums service department we were impressed and our initial experience was excellent.
The service was amazing but the thing that will stick for me forever is what I was told about the brakes, that they are probably more responsive than Im used too. Thank God because on my way home a child jumped out in front of my car and I just barely stopped in time.
I would highly recommend to purchase a car or get your car service at this location absolutely phenomenal Service they give to customers.
Parts dept useless
On there website they advertise 5k off of an atlas, however when they present you with a final deal it is 4k off, when I told the sales manager he told me they are the number dealer in the northeast(I told him that everyone on message boards also say they receive 5koff) and later that there is not room in the car... way low balled me on my trade in. FALSE ADVERTISING! The owner of the dealership was out in the parking lot moving cars around(he looks like a recluse). when he finished and then went to the bank (I was waiting for a minute of his time) he told me he was too busy to talk to me. What a jerk
Worst experience i have ever had with a service. The women at the front desk are incredibly rude and talk to you as if they dont have the time or day to deal with you because there is something more interesting on their phone. The service rep Dee only looks to make commission money off of her costumers and will give you the run around if something is covered by a warranty. Overall it is a incredibly rude and poorly run establishment that gives you the run around when they have to own up on their end of a warranty
