Clean stores helpful people but meats are a little fatty

I like the one in Taylorsville better.

The cashier was extremely friendly and helpful. Very happy with my experience there today.

A young lady named Kiya always checks me out. She is such a helpful and pleasant young woman. Look her up if youre at the 127 North location.

This store, in the Viewmont area of Hickory NC, is awesome. The manager on duty, the day of July 2, goes above and beyond. It is so wonderful to know great customer service is back in style again.This manager & the butcher, at this location, are a true asset to Food Lion!!

First and most importantly your grocery store need to CORRECT their under age clerks. How are they even in a position to question a full grown adult by asking for a ID for a 6 pack of beer??? Im a 58 yr old Male and your UNDER AGE clerk policies need to be fixed, because it is still against the law for a minor to EVEN or EVER sale alcohol!

Food-Lion is food lion & has always been. One of my 1st jobs starting out about 23+ yrs ago. Great bonus buys weekly to every other wk. One of my favorite grocery stores.

First let me say this is the best grocery store around, whether you want to run in and out, or shop all day.. the store is always clean, the employees are always friendly, they always have the best deals, even with the coronavirus they have been the best stocked in town,, and they make life super simple.. I have been running errands since about 4 this morning, and since I was behind I decided to try their new to-go services, boy was I pleasantly surprised, Kristine compiled my order, brought it to my vehicle and loaded everything for me. I continued home to drop everything off, and got a photo from my husband showing me all the little extras that accompanied my order... thank you Food Lion #97 for always going above and beyond for your customers. You are all awesome..

Food Lion, 127/N. Center Street, Hickory, N.C. has had some excitement recently. A car crashed through the front wall. It is in disarray, as might be expected. In an attempt to keep people 6 apart, isles have been made one way which can be annoying. Prices are competitive, and clerks are friendly, and helpful.

Great place to purchase food products that help the budget and that taste good. They also provide a good selection of gluten free food and lactose free as well.

Store was clean and had what we needed. I loved food lion from when I lived here and this is my aunts local store and she frequents it. The prices are always great! And the employees we encountered were very nice though its so hard to communicate or understand what anyones saying with these mask requirements but thats not the stores fault at all!

Not a bad store. However, every time I use the bathroom there (which I try not to do), it is absolutely disgusting! Usually there is feces all over the toilets and the dryers never work.

Fully stocked, both produce & aisles, parking lot much cleaner than 127 location, interior well lit, my cashiers 1st day and she mastered it well only hesitating slightly at what she was supposed to do next

This is my favorite grocery store. Fantastic selection and variety, coupled with good prices and great sales. Its like Goldilockss just right in the grocery store category. The produce is always beautiful, the meats are plentiful and appealing, and the grocery and dairy sections are great. The employees are friendly, helpful, and generally seem happy to be there. I really like shopping here.

I shouldnt have to walk outside to find a cart. Otherwise a very typical food lion

Nice store and employees, not the best deli. The hot chrispy fried chicken, displayed in plastic bags was sweaty and slightly under cooked.

Found some good deals in the meat & dairy sections. All the employees were very polite and helpful. This trip, I needed a bit of help and I got it with no problem. I even received help taking my groceries out to the car. It was no problem..small talk and a smile to top it off..🙂

Foodlion is my familys favorite grocery store. Also its a good location. My son lives at lenior Rhyne and its right down the street. Affordable prices.

Food Lion is less than 1 miles from my house, so it is very convenient for me. Recent I realized several hours after I got home that the cashier had made a mistake on my order. If was large enough based on the total amount of my purchases that I returned to the store. After all we are all human and make mistakes.Of course the shift had changed by then. The manager in charge was extremely nice. There was no problem at all and I was given an immediately refunded.This is the kind of service I always receive at Food Lion.Enjoy your shopping trip.

Love the viewmont FL. had a great sale on coke products, 5 for $11.00Had so, so many choices, except what my husband drinks ..Caffeine free coke. Had it in 2liters,and cans, but not 16.9 oz bottles, I ask.Maybe someone should take note of this.

My trip to food lion was great I was in and out in no time at all. The cashier was friendly and attentive. Even though I was dead tired from work, that trip gave me a reason to smile. There are still good people in this world.

Produce stays blowed out. Store is always messy and cluttered.

Always good, for a quick trip or the big shopping day. Friendly, courteous service and usually open check outs. Meat department and deli are great. Good selection of fresh vegetables and fruits.

The only grocery store in the area thats got friendlys ice cream thank you!

Great deals on meats when you catch specials. Prices have gone up rather significantly in the past few years but I guess thats just inflation at work. Even still, competitive pricing(relatively speaking) and excellent place for general grocery shopping. Recommended. 4 stars!

The staff, and employees are professional, and friendly, and they also genuinely want to make you happy, and help you in whatever way they can. I highly recommend shopping here! Nice clean and friendly! They always have the items I need. The prices are comparable to other stores in the area. Every time I stop in the cashiers are great, the other employees always ask if need help while I walk around shopping. So if your new to the area I highly recommend stopping at Food Lion.

Denied Rug Doctors during COVID 19 time and the Rug Doctor company says they shouldn’t deny anyone and you can rent them during this time of COVID because they sterilize them all with hospital grade disinfectant.

I like Food Lion but Im really tired of their entrance in one door and exit the other.

Food Lion in Viewmont is a very good place to shop. Employees are always helpful and so very nice. Ive been going there since the first of the year and call it my Favorite store.

Ok parking. Easy access for wheelchairs. Prices much cheaper then other loca stores. Good selection of store brands.

Another good Food Lion store. Cashier was on the ball. Asked all questions from her script but actually seemed like a person and not a robot. My wife wanted to pick up product from bakery displays because they looked so good. Unfortunately, I spent $5 because of this.

Regular food lion.Pro: always have what I wanted, vegetables are hit or miss, but whenever they do have them, they are pretty fresh. The employees are always happy to help.Con: Fruits... We bought a coconut from them once and it was moldy inside.
