We began our furniture journey with Amish Oak and Cherry in Jan 2021 and finished in Jul 2021. Seems long but it was during COVID and supply lines were greatly strained. We ordered several pieces from desk, file cabinet, and chair to living room couch, chairs and tables that had to come from several companies. Our dealings with Amish Oak and Cherry, and especially Nicole, were nothing short of outstanding. She continuously followed our orders and kept us up-to-date. When the last piece arrived and it was determined that there was a flaw in the manufacturing she quickly provided an avenue for correction. Once again, following each step in that process the flaw was corrected and the piece delivered as ordered. We would recommend them without hesitancy!!

We first discovered Amish Oak and Cherry in 2015 when we were looking for a new bedroom set. A salesperson in another store at Hickory Furniture Mart recommended this store when we told her we were looking for wood furniture in a classic and timeless style. I am so glad she did. We found our bedroom set here and since we have been back again to order a dining set and a coffee table and end table. Each time, we were so pleased with our purchase. We have enjoyed them for many years and would highly recommend buying furniture that will last a lifetime and more.

Hello, I am writing this review for Amish Oak and Cherry in Hickory North Carolina. My wife and I were in the market for a dresser and two nightstands to match our existing set that is 20 years old. We met Nikol one afternoon when visiting the store. Nikol and her team were fabulous in not only finding us the exact pieces we were looking for but they made them out of cherry instead of oak and changed the color and hardware to exactly match our existing set. We could not have had a better experience. The pieces are absolutely beautiful and we also bought a table for our kitchen. The furniture at Amish Oak and Cherry is absolutely beautiful. They are one of a kind pieces and the quality is exceptional. Combine that with their awesome staff and they truly have a recipe for success. Even though it takes me an hour to drive there, I will not hesitate to visit the store again as we change out furniture. overall, I could not be more pleased. We have purchased several pieces of Amish furniture from Amish Oak and Cherry. Our most recent purchase was a lateral file cabinet with bookcase hutch. And our previous purchase was a desk. Neither piece was part of a collection; not being purchased together I gave a description each time I ordered what I wanted. With a photo of the desk and the help of Nikol’s expertise a lateral file to match the desk was ordered. The result was a perfect match. One would think the two pieces were ordered and built at the same time. They are beautifully well- built with quality material, expert workmanship and will last for many years to come.I would not hesitate to “customize” an order in the future if I couldn’t find what I wanted in a catalogue or on the showroom floor.The staff is great- very helpful and professional. A couple years ago, I purchased a dining room set from here that I love. When I moved out of my home last month, however, my movers and I had an unexpected surprise: the table would not fit out my front door. We tried everything we could think of and none of it worked. At my wits end, I cold called Amish Oak & Cherry and explained that I need someone to talk me through disassembling the table top. The folks who answered the phone were FANTASTIC!! They patiently got me to someone who could help and he patiently talked me through how to do it. On a day that was super stressful and more than a few things went wrong, Amish Oak & Cherry was amazing! Great furniture and terrific customer service even after a few years!

We had a good experience buying our sofa, loveseat, chair and ottoman at Amish Oak and Cherry. Nikol was very thorough giving us all the information we needed to decide on the purchase of this furniture and allowing us to take home fabric samples. Any questions were promptly answered via email (we live out of state) and the furniture was delivered on time as promised. The delivery folks were very careful in placing the furniture where we asked and were very neat in cleaning up and removal of the packing materials. The furniture appears to be great quality and very comfortable. We are extremely happy with our purchase. I would happily buy from them in the future for our furniture needs.

There is nothing like real wood! Composite board, plywood, laminates, just don’t hold a candle to real wood. And real wood is what you get from Amish Oak & Cherry. The prices are higher than the fake wood, naturally, but the quality is miles above any other furniture out there. Your choices of wood and finish are up to you. If there is something you want to change, no problem, within reason. We had previously purchased Amish furniture when we lived in NJ, from the Amish in Lancaster County, PA, this furniture is a match in quality. The dining room table and chairs will become heirlooms, handed down through generations.The set that was delivered actually looked better than the showroom set. The ONLY downside was waiting 12-14 weeks, just because I wanted the set so badly. But, true quality takes time, and true quality was delivered.Any wood furniture we purchase in the future will be from Amish Oak & Cherry. By the way, don’t let the name fool you, our dining room set is made from hickory, beautiful and hard, will last several lifetimes.

I have to say that Amish Oak & Cherry Inc. has to be one of the best stores I have ever dealt with. We had ordered a sofa (King Hickory - High quality i might add) from Nikol (We highly recommend her!) at Amish Oak and cherry and it was a great experience from start to finish, They actually follow up with you after the sale to make sure youre happy. The workmanship and the quality of furniture offered is second to none. The option to have custom built furniture is a plus. I had nothing but professional, friendly and courteous service. We will be returning soon to make yet another purchase.Update 4/18/2019: We recently ordered a custom buffet and server to match our dining table and chairs purchased last year. I am an extremely satisfied customer of Amish Oak & Cherry. You cannot beat the quality of Amish furniture anywhere. The store displays a wide variety of available Amish made furniture and you can have your selections built in the size, wood variety (rustic cherry, oak, quartersawn oak, etc.), and stain of your choice. We purchased a new Dining Room table, sideboard, chairs, matching counter stools, an entertainment center, and a second sideboard and we are delighted with every piece. We just returned this last weekend, to purchase a bench. Nikol is fantastic to work with, and dont forget to ask for your military discount, if applicable. Plan on 10-12 weeks to have the furniture built, but set your expectations very high, and you wont be disappointed! Delivery team was fantastic, on time, and took great care with our new furniture.

Nikol was my salesperson and was very helpful in this long distance purchase. I bought a King Hickory love seat and sofa. I had one before and was very happy with the quality but it was time for a new one. When I received the furniture, I noticed a run in the fabric on one of the cushions and reported it right away to Nikol. I sent her pictures and within a few weeks, I had a new cushion.

This summer was the third time over the past few years that we have ordered furniture from Nikol at Amish Oak & Cherry. We have been very happy with the excellent quality, price and service.We had looked locally each time but could not find the quality and selection that Amish Oak and Cherry have. This past visit, in addition to upholstered furniture and more tables, we saw a three foot wide display cabinet and asked if we could get it made in a four foot width. No problem - and for a only a very reasonable amount more than the three foot size. Of course, they were also able to stain the cherry to match the dining room and great room furniture that we got from them. We also love the two bedroom sets that we bought there a few years ago. The delivery companies that they used have all been great.Nikol and her fellow staff members take the time and have the knowledge to get you exactly what you want.

This place is awesome if you like wood furniture. We bought a couple bedroom suites, one being the Cody line. Just got it delivered and it is beautiful. Looks better in our house than in the store. Sales group in the store were awesome, never pushy. They let you browse and look and then were right there if you had any questions. Also Kudos to their delivery service McCurrys Transport, they were awesome as well. All furniture wrapped and taped completely in moving blankets, the guys that delivered were great. Very courteous and careful. All this combined made for a wonderful experience. Everyone keep up the good work.

YOU WILL HAVE NO CONTROL OVER YOUR PURCHASE ONCE YOU PAY STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANYI HAD TO CLICK ONE START TO GET THE POST, BUT IT IS NOT 1 STARWe purchased our furniture in June, several pcs had to be made and we are in agreement to the lead time and delivery time.The one item that was on the floor and ready to go, arrived missing one chair, and one chair was damaged. Sept 18th, Oct, we were told mid Oct that we would have it in 2-1/2 weeks, then we were told it was lost and Amish wants to provide 2 chairs not from the set I purchased. When I would not accept the replacements we were told they have the original chairs. At the Freight companyAt this point we do not have any trust and do not want to accept anything from Amish, I just want a refund on my partial set, and they can assemble and sell the pcs as they choose.Classic example of paying all up front, you have no recourse if there is a problem.Side note there was some damage on the other furniture I just repaired my self I wish they would just step up and be reputable. Thats a lost art in business these days.

Im one starring this and havent received my furniture yet. No one, I mean no one at all ever told me I would be required to pay a delivery charge in cash. I was at the store yesterday. Someone could have told me I would be required to go back to the 80s and have to start dealing with cash again. Utterly ridiculous that there is no other option than this. CC, check, Venmo, PayPal, Samsung Pay, Apple Pay...nope! Bed deliveries and drug deals...cash only!

I requested info online. Received an email back that said they would contact me shortly, but not to respond to the email myself. In the meantime, I bought two custom-made nightstands from a Vermont-made company. Oh, well. I have no idea what to say about the quality of their furniture, but the quality of their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

The quality of delivered product is unacceptable. We have returned our dinette set three times because of obvious defects in the china cabinet and hutch, such as scratches in the glass, chips in cabinet,scratches in the wood, a hand print stain on the inside of the hutch, glass shelves that were not level and were unusable, pull out drawers that would not close properly. Amish does not perform a quality inspection of their products before shipping to the customer. If you purchase anything from them inspect it carefully.

Over 15 years I have purchased 6 rooms of furniture from Amish Oak and Cherry. I would rate them a solid 10 out of 10 in the quality of their furniture, price and customer service. I am a hard person to please but they have exceeded my expectation. If I need additional furniture in the future I will buy it from them.
