This is a poor excuse for a decorated party cookie! I will NEVER buy a decorated cookie from Great American Cookies again! II purchased this party cookie in Valley Hills Mall at Great American Cookies in Hickory, NC. The colors are wrong and the emblems on it dont even look like they should. I didnt expect perfection, but I expected it to look like the Hogwarts Crest. My daughter wanted the Hogwarts crest on a big chocolate chip cookie for her Birthday party at school on Friday, and this is what we got. I gave the company plenty of notice to do this cookie, but apparently the amateur decorator couldnt handle the challenge. My Daughter looked at is and said, What is that? That is not like my cup (glass with the Hogwarts crest on it). She is DISAPPOINTED and UPSET!. The manager would only give me $2.50 off of the price. I dont have time to have anyone else make it or it to be remade. The ONLY reason I gave this review a 2 Star is because their cookies taste amazing. The young lady at the store was kind and patient and said I quote, I would die of embarrassment if i sold this cookie to you. She tried her best to get the manager to give me a bigger discount, but the manager is too busy off doing what he/she wants to because he/she wasnt even there (the young lady had to text the manager because he/she wouldnt answer the phone).

I have gotten cookie cakes here before because they are amazing and would have given 5 stars but this visit was different. I asked for a certain design and said they could do the airforce logo but asked for them to call me first if the design wasnt doable before going with the second incase I had another idea. I guess it wasnt passed on. It was for a really special occasion for my brothers completion of graduating airforce training. But I bought it I guess it will do.

We love the cookies from here. The hometown bakery up the street from the mall could use a lesson from GAC on what decent sugar and choc chip cookies should taste like. Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to the consistency of cookies. This is the only local place offering cookies that meets our preferences. Even less than hr before closing time, the cookies were still super soft.

CHOCOLATE CHEWY. BRING IT BACK. BEST COOKIE EVER.

I had ordered a cake for my sons birthday. The bakery called and told me they were not going to be able to fit me in before our party. I called your store and asked about a cookie cake. You guys had one done with what we wanted on it in like 30 min. You literally saved by sons birthday. I cant tell you how much I appreciate that. It was also really good! This place has the most delicious cookies I have ever tasted. By far my favorite place in the whole mall. I would like to thank all of the staff, everyone was so kind, I will definitely be back. Keep up the good work! 😉😃

By fat the best cookie place I have been to. Not only are the cookies amazing but the lady (Amber) who helped me was also amazing. She was extremely nice. If the cookies were not great I would go back just for the experience. Amber was extremely sweet and very helpful. She even helped me pick out a few birthday and holiday cakes that I will definitely be coming back to order. If you’re having second thoughts about this place please do not. Give it a try. Ask for Amber when you visit. She will make the experience 10000000 times better.

Such a fun store! Their creations are too cute! And the young blonde, amber, was so kind to my daughter! After eating our treats she even asked to go tell her best friend goodnight. Love her!

We just spent 12.46 on 3 cookies and a cup of water. We came 11/16/19 at 7:25 pm. Employee with glasses is very sweet. Girl with dark brown hair has very nasty attitude. The Cookie store was much cheaper and better.

Customer service is phenomenal every time I go here! Ive ordered several cakes and they are always amazing! Amber and Tiffany are my favorites, they go above and beyond and make my experience top notch!

I came and got cookies Friday night, services was fantastic, and cookies tasted amazing! I definitely don’t mind spending at least $20 on cookies when me and my family go shopping!

I went there yesterday. The cookies are good but it said buy 5 and get one free. I bought 10 so I asked her if I got 2 for free and she said no and gave some kind of excuse. I was surprised. I just looked at her and said the sign said I get two free. She said it’s not the same thing. I should of gave them all back for false advertisement but I was shocked. I just walked away. Now I have 16.00 worth of cookies. 2 cookies is not a big deal. It’s the false advertisement. I will not buy from any of your places again. I went to the hickory store in valley mall.
