FYI this is a ship only center. There is no printing or packaging services, so if you are needing those services you will have to visit another FedEx store location first. The staff at this location are very helpful, and took a couple minutes to help me find a location nearby that I could do the printing and packing that I needed to return my package.

It has been over 2 years since Ive been here. I dont know why the bad reviews. The lady who helped me this evening was so nice and helpful. Unfortunately my package couldnt be placed in hold. FedEx has to deliver it. She told me that he is scheduled to return at 7, and because the package cannot be placed on hold, she suggested that I wait for his return to get the package this evening. Its a 20 min wait; thank goodness for cell phone!!‐-----The staff is very efficient and professional. The lady who helped me was informative. She answered all my questions. Plenty of parking. My package was back at the center for pick up as expected. Thank you.
Better hope your package doesnt go through this dumpster fire. Most incompetent delivery experience Ive ever had. Spent 4 days on the phone with customer support just to find out they sent my package to the wrong location, after 3 failed delivery attempts for a package that didnt need a signature. Locations like this are why everyone I know avoids FedEx like the plague. Get better management.
Ordered two packages worth over $150 that were shipped through FedEx that were supposed to be delivered in 2 days by Wednesday. Neither package has arrived and I have received 0 information from them as to why that is or where they currently are, the tracker just says pending with the last registered mark saying they had the wrong house.Address is correct on both packages. It’s embarrassing that I have 0 problem with any of their competitors with my mail/packages and they just dropped the ball and have provided no help with where my stuff is or when/if I’m even going to get it. Use literally anyone else.
Anna and her coworkers always are so helpful and accommodating to my wife and I. This location is where you go when you have to get it there by tomorrow. No other location can get it there faster!Be kind, be patient, they will reward you.Trust me.
This place is shameful in less then a week theyve stated theyve delivered two packages, went as far as producing a false signature name for one, and yet the fedex driver never drove down my road. both of the items happened to be car parts for a Volkswagen, I feel like they are trying to steal high valued packages to resell .

Service is abysmal.I got a delivery exception because (according to FEDEX) there was no one one at the door, even though i waited close to it for almost the entire day. The driver did not knock, nor did he use the doorbell - assuming he even bothered to show up that day.Also, FEDEX does not have a day of delivery map functionality. With instructions like package will be delivered by 8pm and delivery people who do not bother to knock or ring doorbells, what are they expecting us to do? Camp out at our doorstep the entire day? UPS has a day of delivery map functionality - its not rocket science.BTW- i had to put one star because this is the only way to post this message. I would have left it at 0 stars if i could
Went to collect a couple of boxes for work. There was a bit of a delay while they were found but its a large facility so the wait was not unreasonable.The staff and facility practiced good social distancing. One of my fellow customers was not so sensitive.
Quick and easy drop off for a live reptile shipment to California. Line was a few people deep at 7:00 PM, but moved quickly. Attendant was friendly and handled my live animal package gently.
Excellent customer service and polite drivers. I didnt know exactly where to go and a driver provided me with excellent instructions to get there to ship my packages. Once there, I could easily tell where to go. The customer service agent inside was extremely friendly. Great experience.
New age, New rules. I visited this place after almost 2 years.First there was only one customer service representative. The lines were long and came out of the store. Since it was raining, it was hard to stand outside and wait.Then came another surprise. This store does not even provide a tape to seal the package. You could buy at enormous price. The reason given was that this is not a package and ship kind of FedEx place. It is ship only place, so you need to have your package fully assembled and ready. They wont even print shipping labels for you. Go figure.The customer Rep was probably overworked and could not really be compassionate with my issue. Again I wont blame her for this but will blame management for creating this pathetic situation.People were dropping packages wherever they could find space. There was no one to pick them up and clear the space.When I asked if my package will be sent out today and delivered in 2 days, since she told someone dropping the package that his package wont go out till tomorrow, the answer I got was, that is what it says on the order. Nothing assuring here. Again a overworked person, just trying to clear the queue.Real sad state is affairs.
Decent and convenient location with ample parking. These are the only things that go for this place. Customer service is below par.
All about taking care of your package delivery. The whole building is filled with Fedx Vans and trucks. Must be over 150 vehicles!
What a nightmare of a place. Firstly, one employee had her mask under her face. The second wore a K95 mask upside down with large gaps. So that’s pretty useless.There always seems to be a line here and there isn’t much room for distancing. Wouldn’t have to go here if fedex would deliver the package the first time.

Frequently delivers to the wrong address in the neighborhood. How hard is it to READ THE STREET NAME ON THE PACKAGE! Seriously, my 3rd grader could deliver packages better. Amazon in-house deliveries are now more accurate and they at least provide a picture so you can track it down if by chance they do make a mistake. I dont use FedEx at all anymore.

Ok I guess. wish they were able to print labels at this ship center though....had to go to the FedEx office to print from my phone. ups has a similar setup but I know for a fact they could print it if they wanted to at the customer center... fedex may not have the capability.

Terribly run location/company that needs to reevaluate its hiring process and processes. I had a shipment containing a live marine animal being delivered. The package was supposed to arrive before 10am. It departed the Herndon facility (a mere 12 minutes from my house) at 834 am. At 1130 I had not received the package. Customer support (a terrible typicable robo system) did nothing besides tell me the box was in transit and that a human rep wouldnt be able to do anything else. There is 0 way to contact the local shipping warehouses to track a package either and find it en route (probably want their employees doing less and technology doing more I now see why). I sat there helpless for hours as I knew the fish would surely be dead by now after sitting in a cold box truck for 7 hours.I will get store credit from the seller so its a financial non issue. It is pathetic that a company and its employees load a box that is 2 feet x 2 feet and plastered with the words perishable and live marine animals and can clearly see by the multiple labels indicating urgent delivery and 10 am delivers it after being on the truck for 7 hours. I would obviously do pickup next time but I dont even trust that. Take your business elsewhere and use UPS.
Dealing with FedEx about where my package was was like pulling teeth. The package was available for pickup for three days at a Safeway. They kept telling me it was in transit, it wasnt available for pickup, it was at a shipment center, and it was at Walgreens.Next time if my package is lost, Id rather just be told thats whats up
Driver assumed the address was incorrect and stopped delivery. Probably didn’t even try to deliver or check google maps. Received a message to call back but the call back is fully computerized and very unhelpful. It doesn’t allow a connection to a person and hangs up if you can’t provide tracking number to the computer. I had to call merchant to get tracking number and redelivery was scheduled for two days later. Their mistake in assuming address was wrong and then penalize customer with delivery delays. Get some humans on the phone to help with calls. Computers are not helpful.
Very helpful staff. I did not have a label but they helped set up for me. Also assisted with delivery instructions for my address to ensure i get packages in future. No wait at 4pm on a Friday.
Never have I ever experienced more impatient and unfriendly customer service. Three times now I’ve been here to pick up items and each time has been unnecessarily aggressive. I understand it’s not the most pleasant job in the world, but...

Almost every time I order somthing and it comes through FedEx, they say they attempted a delivery but no one was home. I took off of work for a very important package today and waited but no knock was made. I check the order and it says they attempted even though I didnt hear a thing and there was no sticker on my door. I would rather pay any amount of money then use fed ex again.
Always fast service. Never have to wait more than few minutes. It’s great for dropping off packages.
This is the rudest FedEx I have ever been too. I am writing this review in the shop right now because I have never seen such rude employees. One employee just told a customer, Im waiting and the guy only asked her if she was free to take him. That response is unacceptable. I understand it is the busy season but customer service is all year long. The manager of this facility should have a talk with some or all of the employees about customer service.

Courteous service. They are nuts with the HP parking. Theres a whole row of them next to the building. More HP spots then could ever be used under any circumstances. Whats up with that?
Good customer service and fast service not like the one is 4720 Eisenhower Ave which has a long waiting time of 40 minutes or more plus limiting one customer at a time and thats not right for a big store like that

Package containing perishables was tossed over the porch railing ripping the cardboard box. It was dropped 25 ft from the front door which was the required location. Driver sod not ring the doorbelll and food was soilrd.
Always friendly staff. Even during busy evening hours, wait isnt long. Was in late this afternoon and I was one of only two customers and there were 2 staff at counter and another in the area...so no wait.
This facility has major staff issues. Their driver never attempted delivery for an overnighted package yet claimed their did. My husband and I both work from home and left the door open on purpose, so there is no way we would have missed an overnighted package. We were told we are lying and we can pick up at their location because the driver already went home. For the record, when an attempt for delivery fails they leave you a notice at the door. There is not one here. Second time in a couple of months, same delivery facility. If we are to go pick up from their location, then what do they get paid for? This is not a grocery store, this a delivery company, why do we have to inconvenience ourselves to pick up when they get paid to bring packages to us? And the audacity to tell us we are lying tops it all.The package contains documents from a bank for a property purchase so imagine the impact of these peoples incompetence.
The absolute worst customer service I have ever received! They said they tried to deliver a package and no one was home. Competed BS I stayed home all day waiting for this package.
I needed tape to close up a return and the lovely clerk actually made me purchase tape; I only needed a few pieces. She also never greeted me when I walked in the door even when I was standing directly in front of her at the counter. Awful customer service and I will not be returning to that fedex office.
The FedEx attempted two times and claimed as if they came third time and false claim was made that an attempt was made. Created Case ID, the story was different - conflicting. They mentioned the package was sent back to facility as the package was damaged and went for inspection. Still exchanging calls with customer service on this. Frustrated on this.

Absolute worst! They claim to have regulations that wont allow them to leave packages at apartment/condos without a signature (even when a signature is not required). Called corporate & no such regulation exists. Sometimes they leave my package, sometimes they dont. This is a regulation theyve come up with & enforce whenever its convenient for them. Ive had companies call them & demand my packages be left without signature (convenient how a large company threatening to pull contracts change a reg so quickly). Ive also had to call companies & have them switch to UPS or USPS if it states they use FedEx. Today I had to call my home delivery prescription company & flag my account to never use FedEx again because they attempted to deliver my birth control (which must be kept refrigerated) on Saturday then returned to shipper today with no other attempts to deliver. Ive never had an issue with FedEx deliveries until I moved into this locations delivery zone. Dont bother trying to call them either, been there done that, theyre rude & disrespectful. Nothing much you can do of youre stuck in this delivery zone, except avoid whenever possible.
I was the only customer, but it still took ten minutes to ship a package, because the man at the counter didnt know how to type, and apparently doesnt read English very well. The name and address for my shipping label and street has names without capitalization, and words misspelled. Seriously, Fedex, you need better help.

Lady with neck length curly black hair is very disrespectful. We asked her two questions and she completely and I mean COMPLETELY ignored it. We were the only ones there and there’s another lady working at the other computer (light brown hair) and she COMPLETELY ignored it as well. We said thank you and she didn’t even look at us and kept looking at her screen. Absolutely rude and disrespectful. Train your employees better because this is ridiculous.
Not good service from FedEx, women had an attitude instead of apology for their service down. Too old to be upfront given customer service. This was inconvenient and time vacation money I have lost.
OUTSTANDING service. Hats off to the FedEx guys at this branch. With the ice storm today our package never made it to Dulles. The FedEx guys tracked the package (plane was diverted to Baltimore), and called me when it finally arrived at their facility. I arrived right before closing and they took the time to dig for my package even though it still inside their truck. Throughout this process they were courteous, friendly, and customer service oriented. THANK YOU.

They do not have enough employees on a shift for the post work rush though and lines can get very long.FedEx as a corporation:Drivers Discretion Corporate Policy more or less entitles the driver to be as big a dick with your package as they please. I was supposed to have a package delivered by 10:30 AM today. It didn’t show up. I paid $50 to have it delivered by 10:30 AM today. When I called they said it was due to weather. There are no weather conditions here in Ashburn, VA. I called back again and was told it was weather issues in Tennessee. That doesn’t even make sense because my package has been sitting on the truck in Herndon, VA since 8:32 this morning and the truck hasn’t left the facility. I was told there is nothing they can do for me and I couldn’t receive a refund either. They couldn’t even tell me what time my package would be delivered today either. My car keys are in the package and I explained that and they said there are a lot of other priority packages that have been delayed too and that there is nothing they can do for me. To me, it sounds like they just don’t have a driver to deliver the packages because once again, MY PACKAGE HAS BEEN SITTING ON THE DELIVERY TRUCK SINCE 8:32 AM in Herndon, VA which is 10 minutes down the road from the delivery location! I asked why my package wasn’t put priory since I paid extra to have it delivered by 10:30 AM and she couldn’t give me an answer! Awful customer service! Thanks for not fulfilling your promises FedEx! I wouldn’t have gotten my keys shipped through FedEx if I knew this was going to be the case! You deserve 0 stars!

Horrible customer service the lady was moving sooooo slow when I put a nick name on the envelope she said I was unable to do so and proceeded to make me feel out another paper eventually I just grabbed the package and decided to go to another fed ex where they said using a nick name or go by name was totally fine . This lady just wanted to make things difficult for me today I guess . Seemed like she was having a long day already and it’s only 9:00 am

Came to pick up a package but received the Worst service in years. Was ignored by both staff members and told to wait until they scan all their boxes (which took 15 minutes) then waited another 20 minutes because they went into the back to scan their other stuff... lady was extremely rude for me when I asked why it’s taking so long. Asked me to go to another location if I’m complaining.... (my package was at this location) I will not stop reporting and leaving a negative review until this is reseolved.
Staff is unprofessional. I paid triple cost to have delivered by 8 am next morning. By 8 pm next evening, still not delivered. Use UPS or USPS instead. FedEx and this facility sucks.

The fedex guy just went half way my driveway, saw me through the kitchen window and went back to his truck like he forgot something. Only to receive a message that says attempted delivery for a package that I have been waiting for days. I am told to either pick my package at this location or wait for tomorrow.😞😞

Total garbage service, if its not outright incompetence then they are probably committing theft and fraud. Amazon would notify me of my package delivered and yet nothing in sight, packages totally unaccounted for yet they claim it was left by my garage which was a lie. Ive asked amazon to only use USPS and UPS after the hassle theyve put me through.
The manager helped me establish my own shipping account in record time and explained the easiest most cost efficient ways to ship my parcels.
Small ship place, good to drop off goods. They dont have many supplies. The two people working there didnt get along with each other so that was a bit of turn off.

The driver had one job, one bloody job. I was a delivery driver once but never dis this to a customer. Left a door tag and one address was mentioned to pick it up, when I reach there they say that the driver left it at another fedex location and was supposed to write the address on the tag but he didn’t. I hope he sees this message. Thanks for ruining my day.

Paid for two day delivery the package has been sitting at this office for four days. They wont attempt another delivery because they left a note on my door. They did not.
I wish I could give a negative number of stars. Hands down the worst, laziest, and most incompetent people to have cursed the earth. I paid about $80 for expidited shipping since I dislocated my knee and cant get my items myself. FedEx left a tag saying the shipper required a signature, I called FedEx & then Crate & Barrel and the store called FedEx b/c Crate & Barrel did NOT require a signature & FedEx said theyd deliver the next day. The next day FedEx left a tag & no package, Crate & Barrel called again. This time FedEx said I should leave a note on the door so theyd deliver the package. Was my 5 day overnight package waiting for me? Of course not, theres another tag saying its the final attempt on the door & this time the driver left a comment on the tag that they couldnt leave the package. Now I get to wait over a week for it to return to the store before I can ask for my money back. My mothers day gift is ruined . I hope FedEx goes bankrupt and its employees end up spat on and begging on the street in New York.

I waited All Day for my package which needed an adult signature as it was a wine shipment. Driver apparently showed up at 6:23 pm...DID NOT COME TO THE FRONT DOOR...just left a Shipment Status slip on my mailbox at the end of my driveway saying they would attempt delivery tomorrow. Called Fed Ex and was advised I need to stay home all day tomorrow for a second attended delivery. They would not give me a definite time for delivery. (Like I have nothing better to do than wait two days for them to get their act together and deliver my merchandise.) Talk about laziness on the part of their drivers! Guess its time to move on to another delivery service.

The customer service was worse I never see . Call them to ask about my pickup, and the guy picked up the phone so mean. At least he didn’t say hello to me. Only his words, “no mom, I have no idea.”
Worst service ever !!!!!! My shipment has been on the FedEx truck since 8:32 am yesterday and its been out for delivery yesterday but never made it to me! They kept giving me different times and I was supposed to receive it yesterday but didnt. They sent it right back to Herndon. This is completely ridiculous.

What can I say I am not an impartial observer, I have worked at this FedEx location for 18 years and plan to hang in there for many more. Over all it is a great company to work for and we get it right for the customer more often than not.
