Mario was super helpful when helping me ship my 3 large boxes and took the time to answer all of my questions patiently. He went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with each shipment and verified all of my available options with me in regards of securing & insuring my shipment. I am updating this review, because this business went above and beyond in helping me fix an issue. I had originally obtained passport photos at this location which were not up to specifications and they were rejected. I had initially been told I would not receive a refund. A while later the manager did call and offered me a full refund, which i really appreciated. Knowing that the manager cares and this business is willing to make things right, I would recommend this store for passport photos.

Watch out for the bait & switch. Went on Friday to get an estimate. Shipping to Phoenix with box and materials was about $45. Came back Saturday on the way to the airport the actual cost was over $85!Was that lying or incompetence? Intentional deception? Honest mistake? Based on my interactions on Saturday I can rule out honest mistake.Beware when shipping from here.

During my recent travel to Herndon, VA I couldn’t return to the place where I stayed with a friend before my flight and had to return to my hometown Seattle leaving my laptop behind. My friend in whose apartment I stayed was new to USA and I couldn’t rely on her packing, labeling and ship the laptop to me. I contacted Angel at UPS STORE # 4304 online, which is the closest to my friend’s apartment and explained her about the situation. Her response was professional from the very beginning of my inquiry thru the last minute that she put everything to gether and shipped my laptop to me. Angel had my friend walk to the store with the laptop, checked everything, packed properly, label and shipped it out. She did everything smooth as promised and leave me with a peace of mind.

Except for accidentally hanging up on me, theyre a great group of folks and do a good job.

I am out of state and was searching for a UPS store near Dulles to pick up, package, and ship laptops that I bought there. Long story short, came across this store and was very impressed by the level of engagement by the manager Dexter in how every review on here that was a complaint was responded to and addressed etc. I want to say that my own experience turned out nothing but awesome. Dexter was very professional when I reached out and he and the team provided assistance in getting my package, boxing it up and shipping to me, all very reasonably. I am attaching the picture, I was super impressed how careful everything was packaged and you guys are on my short list if I ever need assistance again. Thank you to all and specifically to Dexter. He made me pick you guys and the reason I will be coming back.

They didn’t want to notarize a document because it had my initials on the signature field. My document did not have a jurat, but even if it had it, I would have only been required to attest that the initials were written by me, and sign the document. It seems that the gentleman in charge of notarizing documents at this specific UPS Store doesn’t have experience, training or knowledge whatsoever regarding notary laws. My bank later notarized my documents after I signed it in their presence next to my initials.

I have had some good experiences with UPS but this time they COMPLETELY messed up. Sent my grand daughters gift to Ca from Va. Paid for signature required. They delivered it to a totally different city in Ca and someone by the name Josephine signed for it. No last name just a first name. Then they want to reimburse me next to nothing for what it costs me. You cant be this incompetent and then shaft the customer. Really think someone saw what it was and decided to sent it to a family member to keep it for themselves.

I have used their service multiple times. Everytime, rather than pushing me away for services that they don’t offer, they stretch themselves to ensure I am taken care completely.

Came in for a simple notary on a document. The staff was friendly, helpful, and quick. Would come back if I needed the same service, or some other type of service.

Highway robbery! These guys charge like 3$ to print 1 page of black and white paper. Cheaper to buy an inkjet! (And that’s with crazy inkjet cartridge prices, these guys are using an industrial laser printer that maybe costs 5 cents a page to print..)

Staff always welcoming and very patient. Willing to tape my box for no charge when other places charge or make you buy a roll of tape. Love this place.

I have shipped with this store few times and always had worst experience with shipping. No proper updates online to track the packages and the tracking number has become a big joke. Every single time had to contact them to get the latest updates.Recently shipped a time-sensitive package with this store with confirmed next day delivery promise - have paid the amount demanded for the service - and the package is floating throughout U.S. There is no guarantee that the store honors the service they promise.If I had the option to give negative rating, I would not have hesitated to give.

Amazingly helpful staff!Moving cross-country and needed to ship a ton of clothes. We just brought the clothes in to the store in suitcases and bags - Dexter and Cody did all the rest. They packed them into the most cost-effective set of boxes for us, and we were out in a jiffy.If you have any shipping needs, come here!

Excellent service. I have had a mailbox there for over 7 years. Dexter is the BEST. I dont know of he is a manager but he should be. The center is always clean, rarely has a line, and all the folks working there are friendly. The only difficulty I have ever had is with parking.

If there is less than one star I would give it to this UPS store. I shipped expensive items through them and they charged me a lot of money. The shipment got lost and now it has been 3 weeks I am trying to get my stuff without success. Not professional, not trustworthy and would give you hard time to get your things big when they lose them.So, be aware of getting your shipment lost and get no compensation or even a transparent investigation.

By far the friendliest staff i’ve ever had to work with. i come in for my office’s mail everyday and each member on the staff i friendly and efficient. wether i have 1 task or 5 tasks, the Herndon UPS staff makes me feel welcome every time. Im traveling from state to state and dont like to travel with my luggage so i decided to come to the closest ups store to the Dulles airport. when i arrived i asked the staff if they could help me bring in two large and heavy suitcases and multiple employees jumped up to help. I was late for my flight and it was the service was quickess service ive had without any rudeness. the staff was beyond friendly and the shop smelt like pizza so that was a plus

I came in for a notary last night a little passed the cut off time of 6:30, one of the gentlemen was kind enough to do it for me. Quick service, was in and out within 3 mins.

This location never has a line, and the employees are all efficient, super helpful, and pleasant to deal with. Consistently a great experience at this location (can’t say the same for some of the other locations in the area).

Recieved an email saying an attempt had been made for delivery and that noone was available on a saturday when the entire family had been home all day in and out the front yard with all of of cars here. What kind of business does UPS run where their workers dont even give or make an actual attempt to deliver a package?

DO NOT USE A UPS STORE, ESPECIALLY DURING COVID - THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOU IF THEY DELIVER PACKAGES LATE, EVEN IF YOU PAY OVERNIGHT, 3 DAY SELECT, ETC. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The dirty secret is that these UPS Store actually are *not really UPS*?! Theyre just some franchise that licensed the name and marks the prices up much higher than the one you get from the online real-UPS price calculator; in my case it was 38% more. And thats before you get to the additional bogus shipping options charge (ten more bucks) that you see on the receipt. (After this place nicked me I asked the next one I usedwhat is the shipping options charge for, since I boxed the package completely myself. The clerk couldnt say and the manager just said, Ill give you a discount....) Want to find the real UPS? Google UPS Customer Center and go to one of those where you only pay the charge you can figure out ahead of time online, not some bogus scam markup.

I usually go to this place for all of my shipping needs and never had a problem. This is the first time Ive had a problem, hence the 3 stars.I dropped off a package (Next Day Air Saver) at this store on 01/02/18. When I tracked the package on 01/03, it showed that it was sent to Baltimore. I called UPS customer service (the representative and manager were both very rude), and told me because a third party (Cox & Kings) pre-generated the label, I had to deal with them, even though both the rep and the manager told me it was completely UPS fault.Somehow, someone in this store put my package (shipping from Herndon, VA to Washington, DC) in the wrong bin. When it got to Baltimore, they didnt know what to do with it, and apparently kept it for 19 hours before sending it from Baltimore to Lanham.This is not technically a negative review against this store, but against UPS in general. It just happens that this store was the drop-off location and started the problem.

Unhelpful staff. Dont care attitude. I had an issue with a scheduled pick up so went to this store and tried to tell them about how they have failed to show up, the guy behind the counter(was playing with a stress ball) just carelessly said that they are not The UPS. Better go to some other postal service than to deal with their careless attitude.

Needed a last minute print job and Phil was able to deliver exactly what I needed.

If you want to get ripped off, this is the place to be at. The one assisting us Hanyang Xu (goes by name Phil at store I guess) did not even had a welcoming tone in the first place. They charged 20 bucks for a notary which is just 5 bucks because it has to be verified online. He did not want to verify that online on my smartphone and insisted it has to be desktop else he would get jailed for it. There is not even a thank you mentioned at end of business. Do a favor yourself and get treated well at other place for that kind of money.

I go to this place usually for any print outs or any mail purposes but this place always mishandles my documents and tore them out many times. Just a suggestion please do not mishold the documents when they are very important ones to us.

Website stated that store could notarize documents but staff said no one there was able to. Staff member was friendly though.

Almost $3.00 to print a shipping label.
