If youre looking for something outside the usual ice cream flavors and desserts, try this place out. It offers ice cream and Indian desserts. They also have a small menu of food consisting of burgers and Indian street food but I didnt try those. I did, however, tried for the very first time a Lahori falooda. The woman at the counter was extremely friendly and helpful and explained all the different flavors and combinations to help me choose. It is a dessert that has chia seeds, sweet noodles, nuts, jello and traditional Indian flavor ice cream or your choice of ice cream flavor. Theres definitely a whole bunch of things happening in your mouth all at one time when you drink it. Its most certainly a textured dessert. I like the variety of textures so I really enjoyed it, on top of the fact that it was absolutely delicious. Great first experience.
The variety of ice cream flavors is neat. Several that sounded interesting. I ordered a large butterscotch milkshake. I was disappointed that it was quite small and mixed very thinly. It was slightly thickened milk, rather than the traditional milkshake consistency Im used to. It was very overpriced considering those things. I paid $6.50 for it. The service was very friendly, but I dont think I will go back. I am adding a picture of my large milkshake next to a pen for scale.
A nice little hole in the wall. We were looking for an ice cream location that would be open past 9pm and found this cute little place. Their ice cream is vegetarian, no eggs. Portions are small. The rum raisin flavor was very good, the strawberry flavor was ok, the Ferrero rocher ice cream had no Ferrero rocher it was more chocolate than anything. The place is nice and clean the odd part was the service, the lady behind the counter seem too busy to serve us or greet us. We felt like maybe we were invisible and even after my younger son rang the bell she continued to do her thing and ignored us until she was ready. It may be that we weren’t her usual customers as it seems like they have special items from India or other areas but a smile and a hello/welcome would have been nice.
Really excellent ice cream selection and faloodas. Not too sweet.
It is a small place to sit n eat, compare to other places they do have more variety of Desi ice creams flavors to choose from. Like someone else has posted, it is a little over priced for the size of portion. We ordered 3 different faloodas, Malai, Lahori and one more but could not tell difference between Lahori Falooda taste and Malai falooda taste. Over all customer service was good, despite the fact that only one person was working.
I have never felt more DISRESPECTED in a place than I did here. We patiently waited in line just like everyone else and when it came to be our turn to order the employee passes us up and takes the order of family behind us in line! This place discriminates if you are not the race of the owner apparently. We walked right out after that. Do not go here.
The icecream is absolutely delicious! Staff were super friendly :)
I would not recommend this place. When I walked in I did not have a good feeling. It did not seem clean or organized. I ordered two cones and it was $9. When I received the cones they were stale and they gave the smallest single scoop of ice cream (but I asked for doubles). I don’t know how any one could give this place above a two star. Would never recommend.
Yummm. Falooda is the best. They have a nice mix of icecream, food, and south india food. Came here a few times already and never disappointed!
Ok service, it took a while for the guy behind the counter to get to me even though there was only 1 other person inside the store. Very disappointed that their portion size is very small compared to other ice cream shops. It was good to try but most likely not coming back again.
Very very disappointed with the service. I heard good reviews and went with family who visited us from California and Florida around 10:15. After driving 45 mins the person serving dessert do not want to serve and is not polite. There is no correct phone number to call before we visit. Kids were very sad to leave without want they want.
The worst Indian street food you would ever eat . We ordered paneer burger and paneer Frankie . They had put the same paneer curry in roti as well as in between the buns and that’s it . There is no way we eat burger or Frankie like that in any part of India .
The kasta they have is really expensive. The 2mm layer is about $6. Didnt have other menu options, it seems the chef has left the restaurant and most of the item are out.
Pretty small portions for the price but amazing ice cream. The fig and walnut did not disappoint!
Best faloodas and malai slices. This place is a little pricey but their ice creams are just yumm! We went there after a long drive and the shop was closed during the store hours. Huge disappointment!
Scoop size smaller than a golf ball.I got two scoops for $6.49(inc. txs)over priced, taste 2/5,value for money 1/5, DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Bought three items - badshah falooda, double scoop chocolate ice cream and double scoop pista ice cream. Falooda was just filled with milk all the way n traces of ice cream. Both ice cream cups did not amount for double scoops and only had two small scoops amounting to one scoop. Bad service n not worth the money being charged for. Will not visit again
Bad service, it was empty and we had to wait 15 minutes. We ended up just leaving
Waited for 15 minutes while they only made 2 drinks. Then when the people in front of us were done with their 2 drinks they blatantly skipped the 3 of us (mind you you we all just stand in front of the Ice cream one after another single file which makes it impossible to not know who is next.) Glad we decided to walk right out after that and not give this establishment any of our money.
Bad service, bad quality of food and ice creams. There is no one to do quality check, and they sell expired ice creams.
Taste is good but very bad customer service. Make sure you are ready to wait for 30-40 mins for anything you order.
Great place for Indian icecream with tons of options
Taste is good. But very less quantity of Paav bhaji, especially for the price of it.
This dessert place has yum falooda.Unfortunately, it’s not worth to try street food or chaat here and even the ice creams are kind of old in nature as they do not have large customer base.I tried samosa chat but there was only one really really small samosa in chat and panipuri filling had same feeling as samosa chaat Chana . Also, tried veggie frankie and it was worst than roti and sabji. I wish I would have clicked pictures for the street food.Again, it’s just worth trying falooda but not as much worth as ‘tosso’ near regal cinema.
Amazing!!! Nicely decorated store with many options in the menu to choose from. I tried the falooda for the first time it was outstanding. Would definitely recommend others to visit.
Who can pass by a dessert place where “Butter Scotch” is waiting to be consumed and ignore it.I am just really glad that this place is finally up and it has all the indian icecream flavors that you want.I really liked Butter scotch, custom Falooda, and paan flavor(ya as if you know that it existed). For a moment this place almost looked like a mirage in a desert.Great place!
Staff was very friendly and helpful
Best kulfi faloodas around town! Other ice creams look interesting too.Tried their pani puri, wife likes it, but not that great.
Good customer service and really good falooda! Specially butterscotch flavor!!
Best place to get Faluda !
Came here recently and was pleasantly surprised because the falooda they had was really good! I got the Tutti Frutti flavor and would definitely recommend it to others. One thing that caught me off guard was the fact that the falooda came with jello. This isnt something Ive seen in falooda before so maybe Im not use to it but it wasnt a bad addition to my dessert either.
Indian food meets ice cream! The result is lots of creative flavors Ive never found before, and I enjoyed trying everything I didnt recognize - including saffron ice cream! Prices were a bit high though for small scoops of ice cream, so Im not sure it would be worth it if you got a more regular flavor which you could also find a other ice cream shops. But for a unique flavor, Im willing to pay a little extra.
Tastiest desi style ice cream
Highly recommend trying their Cassata ice cream and Pan ice cream.
I love street food. Drove one hour for golgappa, faloda, matka kulfi. Everything is over priced.Very disappointed. Just waste money, time and gas. I don’t recommended to anyone.
Their rose flavored ice cream is their most popular. This place is great! As someone who is not from India and never has been, there are a lot of flavors from India available. The person working was super helpful while describing flavors to us and we got to try something new! And the ice cream is vegetarian friendly.
Didnt think it was possible to fumble a milkshake. Was served a cup of room temperature milk which lacks the consistency of a proper milkshake.
Very good variety of Indian street food and nice ambience. Few of their items are worth trying while few needs little improvement.Apart from that, I believe this business has lot of potential so they should really work on their services and how they manage their shop.Similar to their dining area, the restroom also need to be maintained well thats my suggestion to the owner. All the best for your business !!
Falooda is really awesome.
They got most of the Indian flavor ice creams with great taste.
They are new so they have several kinks that need to be ironed out, however, it was a very fun experience. You are not necessarily going for the apps. You should go for the ice cream. It’s delicious and they have very unique flavors.
Great flavor selection and delicious ice cream. Theres no eggs either. Its completely vegetarian friendly and you wouldnt know it. I like it more than traditional ice cream and the selection of flavors is amazing!
Drop what you are doing and go get Indian ice cream here! Seriously the most amazing ice cream, and so many flavors to try that you’ll never see in a typical ice cream shop. Top it off with patient friendly service and a few samples, what could be better? I WILL be back!My review is for dessert only. Doesn’t look like a place where I’d choose to eat. But know if you’re going there it’s not a sit-down experience.
I was a big fan of Dessert Lounge until i tried their freeze burn matka kulfi.Highly disappointed.Customers deserved to be served with fresh and good quality food. Please don’t spoil your reputation. We hyderabadis look forward to your food.
I am not picky and rarely write reviews but I feel like if I don’t its just unfair to others that will go to this place. Not sure who is giving them good reviews. There was only one person working so food came out one by one. By far the worst presentation I have seen food wise and it did not taste well. They had limited selection of drinks sprite and coke and no cold sprite so we just changed order to coke. This by far had to be one of the worst experiences I have had and literally the second time in my life I walked out of a restaurant and First was in a third world country.
Good indian street food but poorly managed. Service was exceptionally slow. Bathroom was dirty, had no soap, and the toilet was clogged. They had two employees working and both seemed very overwhelmed with only a few customers. I feel like this place has a lot of potential. Just needs better management.
Your falooda is awesome.
Very delicious healthy icecreeams and other desserts. The ambiance is very uplifting and nostalgic. Love the place. Good to go with family and kids.
Waited for a while before getting samples. Flavors were plentiful, but quality was just ok. Probably wont be going back. Stick with 31 ...
Dont get milkshakes here. Not enough ice cream in there. Consistency is like chocolate milk, just go to Baskin-Robbins !
Made a quick visit for faluda on a friends recommendation and was worth it. The decor is fab.
Neat variety, can be very busy, tasty ice cream.
I would have given 5 stars if the food is good, icecreams are really good, we ordered samosa chat,it is not at all good.. you can go if you want to go there just for icecream.. atmosphere is good.
In love with their FALOODA. Mutka kulfi is over priced
If you love halal meat microwaved and put on store bought flat bread then the Dessert lounge is for you. Did you also know that some of the employees working there dont use gloves while prepping your food? I didnt until I saw one of there usual employees barehanded touching all over my food and even eating some of it. Not alot but really your just going to eat a little of my plate I paid for? Theres never a manager on sight so who even runs this place. There ice cream is good some better than others but the employees can never really tell you the difference between them. This place needs a better grip on there staff and managing.
Attended a party where they catered sweets. Really great set up nice sweets!
Good people and good food. Keep it up.!
Very tasty and has a variety of things.I come from Tossu
Yummy creamy ice creams. Great variety flavors. Loved the tiramisu, figs n walnut and mango. 😍
Food tastes good. Combine that with the ambiance, its pretty amazing.
So friendly and very warm welcoming staff... they let you taste how many you want ... 😀😀😀but please place the price it’s really little high in cost wise...
Nice Indian Deserts. Many choices, great taste and good service.
Last few times when I went it was good, but I had a terrible experience this time. I ordered falooda, veg frankie and burger, they added exactly the same filling which was terrible in taste and soggy. I could feel that it wasnt fresh at all. When I complained about it at counter the guy turned me down saying that is how they make it, I told him that we have tried it earlier and I was better in taste but he denied saying that they use frozen vegetables. I am highly disappointed by their attitude
They cannot maintain proper tables, their floors have brown patches and they don’t have enough paint for the tables. They don’t even offer free water and everything is sold for 3 times more than it is at other places. Do not come here.
No longer same quality and quantity that used to be
Goes by Kuality Ice Cream now.Uninviting atmosphere, with the guy at the counter hovering over us as we looked at the flavors. Told him vanilla and cookies n cream, both in medium cups. He leaned his entire upper body into the cooler, scooped them both into one cup, then gives me an annoyed look and groan when I corrected him.He didnt bother to actually give full servings in the two cups, just separated the ice cream hed already put into one.Paid in cash, so he starts rifling through his pockets for crumpled cash to make change, then searching their tip jar for more. Ends up telling me he cant pay back my full change, but if I come back for more ice cream again hell finish paying me back; everything, including his next customers, was done with the same pair of plastic gloves.Im not going back
Nice indian chat place around herndon. Tried their original falood which was really good please do try if you are looking to have falooda. Bhel was not that good but worth trying. They have huge varieties of home made ice creams and ice cream cakes.
They don’t have enough money to maintain their tables and floors. They don’t have enough paint for the tables and the floors have brown patches. As for the food they give 3 times less than shown in their pictures. They are cheapskates who are close to failure, DO NOT EVER GO THERE.
Nice place.. nice service.. that indian guy in the counter is very courteous and friendly.. we took badhasha falooda and tooty frutti falooda.. both tasted really good.. I would suggest this to my friends..
Great tasting ice cream and great customer service. Recommend to everyone
Lots of variety in desserts, great taste, good service and cute decor! Must try!
Creatively done. The hand graffiti on the wall are pretty cool. My friend took me to this place to try the faloodas here. They have a wide option to choose from. The service was good. They man at the counter was friendly and knew what hw was doing. The falooda tasted good however the noodles were a little chewy to my liking. Will try this place again.
Can’t go wrong with the Falooda’s they serve here.
Yummy Ice cream place. Pan Ice cream flavor is best.
I went last thusrday, the food was very delicious and their falooda was out class . The guy name rana was so friendly and nice .
Badshah falooda was very good. This is my 2nd visit and I found the place a little chaotic. Many items on the menu were sold out by 8 PM.
Paan flavored ice cream is delicious same goes with fig flavored. Waiting for them to start their hot appetizers!
Great person Rama shahmeer very friendly person greeted me very well food is delicious too ..
Great ice cream with some unique, Indian inspired flavors.
Great place for Indian ice creams with amazing flavors.
Very tasty ice creams. My son really loves going to this place
Visited this new place during our thanksgiving vacation, samosa chaat is really amazing and my daughter loved their chicken Frankie’s.Ambience is pleasent, staff is frinedlyand service is quick and good.
The prices and ice cream selection are great; however, the ice cream tasted freezer dried, and a few looked too liquidy to be called ice cream.
Enjoyed d falooda very much.
First of all, I had to wait for half an hour to place the order. Place was too noisy.I ordered pot kulfi. Quantity of the kulfi was just two bytes. For 5$, I got only two bytes of kulfi which was not so good. Waste of money.
Indian style deserts and different kind of flavors of icecreams
I wish i could have given zero if possible . Every thing horribly went wrong . The timing just didnt suit well for us . We have gotten there by reviews, but falooda was more of golaa than ice cream scoop .The person at the counter wearing glasses was zero custumer centric .
One of a kind dessert place in Nova with Indian ice creams. Favorite is Badshah faluda and cassata. Slurp slurp.
Really really bad experience!! The place is soo dry, all the flavors i tried, tasted stale and flavorless.. falooda was worse.. the most horrible falooda i have ever tasted in my life is at this place..even the nuts they added are stale n smell funny.. what ever they are serving that they are calling “ frankie” is horrendous!!Waste of time and money !!
