I just moved in the neighborhood and was checking out this local store. Matt was super helpful and so patient with me. I picked first the living room coach but wasn’t sure if that would fit. We made the arrangement that if going back home I would measure and if it doesn’t I just call in and cancel the order. It was too big but I decided to go back in to see if they have any smaller ones. Like many things these days, furniture is seemingly never in stock. However, just because you finally found a store where most things ARE actually in stock, doesnt mean you have to settle. Matt at Furniture Max was courteous, helpful and an absolute pleasure to shop with. We did have a particular look we were going for as we wanted things to look well on our new floors. He gave us great suggestions and we were able to find the perfect items for our new home. I walked into Furniture Max after going to about a dozen plus stores trying to find a sofa. I was told by every previous place that 8-12 week minimum wait time for any sofa.I saw an ad for Furniture Max that said next day delivery for any in stock item.I was met by Ari, a very friendly, knowledgeable and professional gentleman. After spending some time testing sofas, I found some that I liked. I talked with him about these and found out next day delivery was an option, and even if not in stock he was willing to send over the floor model. Needless to say, a in stock couch was purchased and it was delivered the next day, a little early and the entire process couldnt have been easier.If youre looking for a good, high quality sofa and dont want to wait two plus months, GO to Furniture Max you wont be disappointed.

I came in to take a look at their everything must go sale as I was in the area and was shopping for a dining room tape set. I met Bryan, the sales staff, and he showed me around to see their selection. Their selection wasnt too bad but maybe the style that I was particularly looking for was not so popular. The bulk of their inventory are beds and sofas so dining room stuff...not so much. However I did come across a set that caught my eye and the seats and bench is ultimately what sold it for me. They were of good height and the seats were super wide and deep. They felt comfortable and did not feel like hard McDonalds benches. The table top is fine though I will probably get a cover for it but it was sturdy. I probably could have talked down the price I think but people gotta eat and make a living and I thought the price I paid perhaps was a tad more but it is a price that I was comfortable with so it is a win-win. I believe in a fair price, plus a fair markup, because at the end of the day we gotta put food on the table. Some sales people are shady AF, but I thought Bryan was nice and friendly. The delivery will be in a few days so hopefully everything will be smooth.If you see something you like, treat people with respect, and if you can work out a deal that everyone can win, those are the best deals.I think we both won here.

I stopped by Furniture Max about a month ago and never knew they even existed in the Herndon, VA area. Every other store in the area had zero supply of items that I needed, but not Furniture Max. Not only did they have a great showroom but they had each item I wanted in stock and available for same day or next day delivery. I started out by purchasing 1 couch, went back a few weeks later and purchased a recliner, and then another couch for my new house. The pricing was fair, customer service was excellent, and will certainly be back for any other furniture needs.

My wife and I had an ABSOLUTELY incredible experience shopping at Furniture Max in Herndon, VA!!!! When I saw the store, I did not recognize it as a high end, good furniture store, I entered thinking they might have some comforters, throw pillows and knick knacks. I was UTTERLY WRONG! Immediately upon entering the store I realized that they carried incredibly well made furniture. We ended up loving the furniture so much that we outfitted a bedroom, dining room and livingroom. Our salesman Matt was incredibly polite, professional and completely knowledgeable about all aspects of the furniture and options available. I have bought furniture more times than I can count and BY FAR this is the best experience I have ever had!!! Happened by this store in Fairfax, and struck luck as they were doing a close-out sale. I was really happy with the pieces I got and the prices were definitely a deal. The service was excellent and I didnt feel pressured to purchase anything (like you do in some furniture stores where you are followed around). I also noticed and appreciated the fact that they didnt drop you like a hot potato when the dong went as a potential customer entered after you. Loved the camaraderie between the staff, and their openness, including with me. Ali is extremely knowledgeable about his products and very efficient. Tony was my favourite, even though he is the money taker! :) He is very understanding, caring and has a great sense of humour. Furniture Max Herndon-Highly RecommendWe enjoyed our experience with the staff Ali, Matt and Carl. We made multiple trips to the store trying to decide what we wanted to furnish multiple rooms. Ali and Matt were patient and asked specific questions to determine what we needed. There was no high pressure sales tactics. Every questioned we had they answered including measuring wall hangings. We ended up purchasing and customizing based off their suggestions (not what we came in for). We could not be happier. Carl the interior designer is crazy good. We bought a vintage style, Queen, cherry sleigh bed. It is beautiful and well priced. The sales staff were low key and friendly. They were ready to deliver the next day. Delivery was well handled and the men were polite and careful.

At first the staff and owner were more than happy to assist us in purchasing a new couch and coffee table - however when we had to return the couch and table the same day, that customer service went out the door and at a cost. With any delivery you expect to pay a fee, but the delivery guys were more than an hour late in the already 2 hour window. When they arrived the couch didn’t fit so we had them return it. When I came to the store to get my refund I was told I would be charged a delivery fee each way...I explained what happened and was told oh well. Not a happy customer to be charged for something I never received.

We have been to Furniture Max store recently just to buy an Aireloom mattress but we ended up purchasing not only the mattress but lot more stuff (dining room furniture - dining table set, china cabinet, banquet table), Ornated TV stand, rugs, and small furniture. The credit goes to one of the store employee (Ali) who was very professional, courteous and offered great deals that I didn’t mind buying a second dining table set when I had a beautiful set already.
