This little hidden gem just around the corner on main street Hendersonville has a great atmosphere, art around each corner and the hostess is a pleasure to speak with. Definitely revisiting for my coffee, which was also perfect. It wasnt the least bit bitter like the establishment I visited yesterday on my search for a warm cup of coffee bean essence.10 out of 10 would visit again.
My family and I went together with my partner. We were polite, generous with tips, ordered plenty of drinks. My partner and I shared one short kiss and the barista immediately yelled at us to cut it out. She then mocked my sister when she asked her why. Will never go here again, including for the quality of the drinks. Not worth it. After that, I could taste the homophobia in my chai.
Quiet, nice music, very well decorated. Great coffee and desserts.
Such a wonderful place full of friendly and welcoming atmosphere! The coffee and hospitality is absolutely amazing! If you want a nice cup of coffee and wonderful hospitality, this is the place to come to! No masks required! Come as you are! Will definitely be back if Im back in town!! Ive found a new favorite coffee shop for sure!!!
Great cappuccino and coffee cake! Sondra, the owner is super nice and hospitable! Comfortable space with chairs and lable to work or softer furniture to lounge and relax. Recommend you stop in!
Lovely coffee shop. Clean, cozy setting and delicious tortes and treats to enjoy with the coffee!
Best coffee shop I have ever been to! Very classy unique yet relaxed atmosphe. Always clean and kept. Wonderful place to unwind and talk with friends and family. Great place to go on a date. My wife and I love going here, and she has been all over traveling, and had coffee in every place shes been and says its by far the best shes ever had right up there tied for first place next to her espresso drinks in France. We will never stop supporting such an awesome place. The owner is the absolute best!Side note: Dont listen to the google directions if Google takes you to an ally area on 4th Ave, the business is infront of the ally on the next street over on 5th Ave E.
This is one darling cafe, packed with art and we just had a great latte and a delicious cold Americano. Very classy!
On 7/31, I witnessed a couple having a hostile interaction with the host and it made the environment very uncomfortable. The barista was giving them trouble for sharing a kiss. If you’re a member or ally of the LGBTQ community, I’d urge you to support another shop and not this one.
Great coffeeGreat atmosphereWonderful hostCant wait to visit again
Woman behind the bar asked us not to eat the cookie we purchased for our kids on her gray couch, she was generally ratchety and when I asked for a bit of cream, she fired back “ your bit is different than my bit and and said you can do it”. The drinks were really good and the unique atmosphere was nice, But if you’re going to serve bakery items and coffee assume people will CONSUME them in your establishment ffs. I’ve been a barista for many years and can tell you her customer service was terrible!and she’s not great with people, which should be one of the main things you’re good at if choosing to be a barista. Everyone has a bad day/ isn’t their best so it’s not the be all end all, but damn Super rude. So rude that it didn’t hit us til we were reminiscing on our hike to White duck taco. Like wow that place sucks!
Absolutely beautiful little shop. Owner was sweet, kind, and caring. 100% recommend, and if Im ever back in the area Ill definitely be back to this little coffee shop.
Amazing spot for delicious brews (coffee and tea)!Great service and prices!
Best coffee shop in downtown Hendersonville. Service is incredible and everything is addictively delicious. Beautiful, calming atmosphere and great location. Highly recommend!
Had a wonderful conversation with the owner and her guests while she carefully made me a great cup. The ambience would be perfect for some reading and relaxing after perusing the shops downtown. Thanks so much!
Address is right, Google leads you to to 4th on the other side of Main street.
The best coffee of town! Always perfect! GOOGLE takes you to a ally way on fourth. The coffee bar is on fifth ave west. One block over!
Great coffee. Great place to sit and relax. I will be a regular!
I was so disappointed when Sondra closed her fabulous coffee shop on White Street. Then I found that she opened a new shop downtown. Her new shop is intimate, quiet and so tastefully decorated. She still serves the delicious coffee I loved at her old location. This will be my go to coffee shop from now on!
What a gorgeous discovery! Met with a friend for coffee and loved it. This is how a coffee shop should be. Cozy and intimate. Beautiful vibes and aesthetics, makes the lingering so enjoyable. By far the best in town. Hendersonville has needed this as the other coffee places have gone down hill.
Love this coffee shop. Had been going to another coffee shop since ‘96. Not anymore. This little coffee bar is so charming, clean and friendly. Best tasting coffee and pastries. So glad I found this little gem ♥️
Latte was very good. Really nice atmosphere. Busy but not crazy. I could find a seat and have a conversation without it being too loud
Beautifully decorated with tables for 2 or 4 or sofa and comfy chairs. Clean. Quiet. Soft music. Great wifi. Good coffee and tea selections. Tasty pastries including delicious gluten free choices made with almond or walnut flours.
Address led me to an ally? Doesn’t match pictures? Did you move?
Wonderful Coffee and Homemade pastries. A wonderful quiet atomsphere that surrounds you with local art. Comfortable feeling of home. A place to relax and take your time.
The coffee and tea are top notch. Service is very pleasant and the coffee and tea is very well made. The owner also makes her own chocolate for the coffee.
What a great find! Not your usual coffee shop. This is a relaxing place to have a coffee and pastry. Comfortable seating in an adult, sophisticated atmosphere. Will definitely be back as a regular.
Best coffee bar in Hendersonville! Tasty coffee in a comfortable and beautifully decorated setting. Great art on display too.
Spectacular little coffee bar across from city hall in downtown Hendersonville is a super cozy gem for the coffee connoisseur. Beautiful local art on all the walls. The owners warm personality ties it all together. Drop by and relax!!!
My chai latte was amazing and the environment was very cozy and thoughtful. Definently one of the best coffee shops i’ve ever been to
Barista took her time with the drinks and they came out awesome. The pastries were tasty. Great quiet place to hang out and read.
This was once the Christian Science reading Room now its one of the best coffee rooms in Hendersonville great art to look at and if you like it you can buy it. Stop by for a great cup of Joe or Tea.
Im from Miami and I saw this place whilst walking down the street and I knew I had to come here . Delicious coffee and pastries. Simple menu but you still have options (gf), they obviously care about the enviroment with the environment friendly culs . The lady was so friendly, this coffee shop has a cozy feeling .
