The Beatles theme is cute and unique. Our server was friendly and our good got there quickly. There were not many vegetarian or vegan options. You had to go up a set of stairs to get into the building, so it is not friendly for people with mobility issues. I personally would not return just due to lack of options for myself, but my friend enjoys it.

I normally would give this place a five star rating for great food and staff. We are regulars and this a favorite place for my family to go but today we arrived at 1245, they sat us right away and we hear the chef/ owner yelling and cussing at his employees telling them why did you let them in we are about to close one hour before their closing time. We decided to leave . It is obvious why they havent gotten much business as they have said on the news a couple of weeks back, if this happens often and I believe it has, we have been there when we see people being turned away when they are suppose to be open.

Just left and we really enjoyed coming to Mean Mr. Mustard. I created my own omelette and it was delicious. Two drawbacks, hot Chai Tea wasnt hot (mildly warm) and the portion of a side of the cheesy potatoes was really tiny.Pros: cheesey potatoes, omelette, pancake, atmosphereCons: portion sizes were a bit small on the add ons and tea was warm.

Amazing food and great service. I had the crab eggs benedict meal and it was delicious. The grits were creamy! All around a lovely experience. Also the Beatles theme is super neat.

Rare hidden gem. A place full of Beatles memorabilia and good food too. We ate crab omelets with a potato casserole unlike any Ive eaten before. Fresh from scratch biscuits and Chai tea. All was wonderful. Service was great. It was a fun place to dine.

Arrived on a Sunday around 10am. I ordered the waffle of the day (pecan) and my friend the biscuits and gravy. My waffle tasted like it was cooked a day ago and even had a refrigerated flavor. The pecans were just spread on top and werent baked into it. The bacon was awesome though. They also had a sign up that they were closing at 1 (hours on door say 2) which I have seen other reviewers mention so it must happen fairly often. Ill try other places around HVille rather than return here next time Im visiting.

My husband and I come here every Sunday and it’s been a great little breakfast place for us. It’s very homey and the staff is super friendly. Food comes out quick, hot and tasty. The grits are THE BEST.Definitely recommend!

Amazing Sunday brunch! Accommodating to odd taste and orders. The seared salmon was delicious. Too bad you cant give a ten. First time and wont be the last. Friendly staff is a plus.

This burger cost me $9. I also ordered it medium, not extra well done. They also do not have French fries. The loaded potato salad was decent, as well as the blueberry pancakes. We had three burgers and two blueberry pancakes, and it came out to about $50. There was no Beatles music playing or anything, just a few pictures on the wall.

Food was quick and delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Plan on coming back again for sure. Both entrees we tried were delicious and properly cooked. Loved sitting on the porch for brunch.

If you can and weather permitting do sit out on their lani. Great overview of Kanuga. The seasonal pumpkin pancakes were very good.

Good stuff although the lack of mustard was distressing. There was also come Queen playing while we were there which was a bit confusing. Over all, however the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was great even if some of them were Clemson fans.

Very cool place - a Beatles themed breakfast and lunch restaurant with a unique menu of delicious choices. I had the Helter Skelter, which had ham, bacon, egg, tomato and gouda, and the best grits I’ve ever had. The waitress said they are made with cream and cream cheese so they were creamy and silky smooth. I could’ve ate a whole plate with just those! The service was fantastic and Lori was funny and made great suggestions. She was wonderful and so was the experience!

Amazing food, incredible service, and the nicest owners anywhere! Monte and Diane make it a light-hearted atmosphere where you always feel like a friend! Highly recommended!

I tired coming here 3 times already and they have been closed. They close at random hours. One day they told me that their kitchen closes at 1, so I made plans to come here another day. Got here around 12 and they are closed.

The menu offered a nice variety of options. We were a little surprised that by mid-morning on a Sunday they were already out of the special omelet. The food was rich and heavy, which isnt necessarily a bad thing but be aware. I ordered the stuffed French toast and was expecting something other than French toast with ham between the slices.The wait staff was friendly to us and we liked the idea of the cafe. Unfortunately for our group we were sitting next to the kitchen. This allowed us to overhear some harsh kitchen conversation which affected our comfort level and enjoyment of our meal. There was a lot of heavy-footed walking by the staff near the kitchen which could have been the wooden floors, heavy feet, or some angry employees. Coupled with the overheard conversation we just werent sure. But it created a tone that, as a visitor from out of town, Ill find another place to try next time, or just go across the street to Hen Dough for chicken and doughnuts.

Nice patio, scenic. average American breakfast. The charges snuck up on us though. Coffee is included in some meals not others. Bacon is an additional charge. The coffee is pretty poor at $2.50. Service was great though! This place Has potential.

Ive been to this restaurant twice. Decor is true to The Beatles theme and cute. Service is good. The food is okay but nothing I found particularly special. Portions are small for the price and you will be charged an extra fee ($1 today) to pay by card. Probably will skip this place next time were in town as there are many other exceptional options in the area. They are closed Monday and Tuesday which is common for this area.

If you are a Beatles fan..stop in and admire the walls as you dine on the best grits in town. The menu theme follows the wall pictures of the Fab 4. We enjoyed a fabulous 3 egg omelet, the specials are to die for. The place is quaint and service most friendly. We will frequent often. Enjoy!!!

Good food. Creative. We even enjoyed a singer guitarists entertainment a our breakfast visit. Unusual and a surprise for an extra treat at that hour.

If you are a Beatles fan and are in the Hendersonville area I would suggest stopping. I had the crab cakes and seasonal soup, It was delicious and the servers were extremely friendly. My traveling pal and I each got a carry-out holiday flavored hot tea. The tea was loose and lasted to servings. I will be going back!

The atmosphere is always very relaxed, the food is very good and the staff is friendly and attentive. At peak meal times there is usually a wait since the place is relatively small, but it is worth the wait.

My food was excellent and surrounding tables enjoyed theres as well. Service was not the most friendly and my card was charged more than my total on my bill. Quaint location and decor.

Delicious food & the best hot coffee!

This place is amazing! Best donuts with tons of options. The prices are unbeatable and everything is made in house, the bread, donuts, chicken, all sauces made from scratch. This place is cozy and they have the best painted picnic tables which are wonderful to eat outside on.

The grits and cheesy potato casserole are both fantastic. Good omelets, and there is usually an interesting omelet or waffle special each day. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays, which I have a very hard time remembering. Good coffee. They serve bottled water if you just order water, fyi.

Food was hot and fresh and tasty! Smaller portion. size than expected however the large taste made up for it! Grits were very tasty as the waitress suggested!

This is my favorite restaurant in Hendersonville! Every time I eat here I am blown away. Monty and Diane only use the freshest ingredients and everything is made from scratch. You can really tell they put love into their unique menu creations. The crab cake salad and soup of the day is always a wonderful choice. I love their biscuits and country gravy as well. I can honestly say Ive never had something here I didnt like.

Beware, business hours listed online are not accurate. Stopped by today and they were closed. Heard good things about this place but when youre suppose to be open and customers show up and your business is closed...not good. Plenty of other choices locally, try those first!

Really! How rude! Not a professional way to conduct business or be respectful to your clientele. I am amazed at the way business is conducted.

Very good -- I got the Mean Mr. Mustard egg Benedict and it was very good. They do not poach eggs so I got mine over-medium...it was also served with a biscuit instead of English muffin and it was delicious.

Not anything like I expected it to be. Very limited choices on the menu, coffee seemed to be reheated in the microwave. The wait staff were not too friendly, our waitress seemed really annoyed because I complained about the coffee . They seemed in a big rush to get people out of the door at 1pm although they dont close till 1.30pm. We wont go back for sure. I think the place is overrated. Parking was a bit scary, up steep hill with few parking spots.

So I have to say it..I hate the beatles.lol. had no idea what I was walking into. But the service and food won me over.
