I desperately needed new tires and called Downtown this morning. The call was knowledgeable, friendly, and honest; truly trying to make sure I knew what was needed and even helped offer advice if I was calling other shops for pricing! I was recommended to come here by a local friend and I am forever greatful. They received the tires I needed, same-day, had me drop off the car and had it ready in a few hours! Being new in Town I did a search on Google to find a place to get my tire slow leak repaired. I was pleased to find such positive reviews for Downtown Tire Pros on Google. So I called to ask some questions, and spoke to Bobby. He was very pleasant on the phone and took the time to explained what the cost would be and timing for the repair. On the phone I understood that Downtown Tire Pros is a busy business, and after my positive experience I understand why. Bobby is very friendly and outgoing, and a man of his word. Bobby is obviously very good manager and knows how to gain continued loyalty from his customers (and create new customers). He and his team did a great job explaining this issue with the tire and my options, and made the repair quickly and in the end, I am a very happy new customer! I felt very comfortable bring my car there and will make this my tire go-to tire business.

Thank you for the professional and kind service!!My parents were traveling to North Carolina to visit their children and grandchildren and had a mishap requiring a rim and tire repair. After staying the night nearby, an early morning visit to Downtown Tire Pros, had them back on the road quickly and in time to surprise the grandchildren at practice pickup!They get my father’s seal of approval, and trust me, that’s not an easy task!

Excellent service, friendly, knowledgeable, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I had oversized truck tires put on. Not everyone can handle that task, but they did a great job. Highly recommend!

Honest, professional, wont sell you anything you dont need-dealership recommended new tires and brakes, Downtown Tire after inspection indicate tires have 5-10K miles remaining, brakes are at middle wear.

Had all four of my new truck tires filled with nitrogen, this was the third vehicle I have taken to them and had the same done on each. Always professional and courteous by far! I have referred everyone that asked me where to go for any tire issues and always will. Thank you guys for all you do and have done!

I appreciate the straight talk and communication in my new tire shop. My tire problem was thoroughly explained and several options laid out. This is a busy place but the location is so close to Main Street that one can walk there and browse the shops or just take a nice stroll.

Bobby and his team are a top notch group. I was in Hendersonville, NC on vacation and had a major flat. I was able to get the tire to Downtown Tire Pros on a Friday morning. Bobby and his team were having a Monday on a Friday. He had several people at the front door before they were even open. Bobby took my tire and let his team determine if the tire could be repaired. He had a used tire that he could sell as a backup if my tire was unrepairable. Bobby and his team were able to repair my tire and install in on my vehicle on a very busy Friday morning. Bobby put me back on the road with my family in a safe vehicle. We drove my car home over 350 miles. The tire is still holding air today. I tried to tip Bobby and his team because of the excellent customer service. Bobby refused the extra money. Bobby stated, A fair price for great service. He asked me to pass it on to the next guy by taking care of my family and helping out someone who needed it. He and his team did a great job of taking care of me and my family. If I lived in Hendersonville, I would purchase all my tires from Bobby and Downtown Tire Pros.

Painless transaction. Got great advise and options on tires (4) with total installed price on each, including balancing and nitrogen fill. They even moved my large fridge to put my emergency spare back in its its compartment. They have a new customer for any tires, struts, alignments etc in the future as the need arises .

They had a good used tire in stock at a very fair price. I was extremely happy with my experience. I will go back!

For years I have used Downtown tire pros and they always manage to amaze me with their service. I started out going there because it is conveniently located to downtown but now I would drive across the state to see them, I’ve had that good of experiences. They always go above and beyond and answer all my questions. I’ve seen them for tire patches, replacements and full sets of tires. As a woman i sometimes feel intimidated going in for any kind of auto related service on my own, but these guys always make me feel welcome and help me feel at ease. I highly recommend them.

This place is amazing! It’s so close to downtown and if you have a little wait here, there is this really cute bakery just a little walk away! The owner is great, very personable, and explained everything to me! I just don’t get cars and he made it so easy! He is an honest mechanic and I don’t say that lightly!! Called and asked for an appointment, and was told, tires are first-come; first-served. I went a week later, with tires bought elsewhere, and was told, tires first-come, first-served.I asked how long, as I am confined to a timeframe.A couple of hours.Sigh.

Outstanding service! A family member visiting from out-of-town was ready to return home on the Saturday morning between Christmas and New Years when the low tire pressure warning light on her car indicated a possible problem. She has nitrogen-inflated tires, and one was a little low on pressure. The crew at Downtown Tire Pros made sure the tire was okay, brought the tire up to proper pressure, reset the warning light, and got her on the road promptly. Great job!

This last time was particularly exceptional because I took my car in to get breaks and they let me know I did not need breaks and did not charge anything even though they took off all four tires to properly check them. Brought in a rim off my rare Nissan Altima SER Forged aluminum alloy that was bent in 2 places from hitting a pot hole ugh.... They are very personable people and they did and amazing job restoring my wheel to like new condition at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Downtown Tire Pros!

Prompt, nice job and reasonably priced. There is an area to wait for the job to be done. Right downtown so you can walk to main street if you like and theres plenty to do there. They changed 2 tires for me that I brought in. They are highly polished custom wheels and they came back to me in the condition they were in when I dropped them off. Based on conversations, they seem to have long term customers.

I arrived riding on a donut with a punctured tire just as the owner was closing up shop. He was exceptionally kind and checked my tire. The donut I was riding on only had 10 pounds of air so he inflated it making it safe for me to drive home. They had my punctured tire repaired first thing the next morning. Great service and great prices!

Came in to get tires balanced. They were very quick and gave a thorough explanation for the problem I was experiencing (Tire separation). I got a new tire and everything was finished within an hour. Highly recommended!

Bobby and his team are the best. I made an appointment and went to another shop in town, where I explained the problem I was having with my tires. They proceeded to over inflate my tires (the day before an ice storm), and told me to come back when the tire pressure gauge went off again so they could see which tire was losing air, even though Id already told them which one it was. Frustrated, I drove straight over to Downtown Tire without an appointment, and told Bobby to just give me new tires. Bobby calmed me down and offered to take a look. His guys found a worn out sensor, fixed it, and got me back on the road for far less than I would have paid had he taken advantage of my frustration and replaced my tires. This is the second time theyve taken care of me, and you can be sure all my business will be going to them from now on. Thanks guys!

These guys are amazing and absolute rock stars at what they do. Ive never felt safer taking my car in for tire maintenance than this place. Theres no hassle, just super professional service and a friendly staff.

Good experience. Had blown tire from nail. They patched it up quickly and effectively. Also had a broken lug nut when I put the spare tire on that they fixed. Owner is very attentive and makes sure everyone is attended to and is up front and honest with the situation and pricing. Maybe not the cheapest around, but the quality of work was great, done quickly and will probably be back for other tire needs.

Unbelievable customer service!! Yes you will wait because its 1st come 1st serve but just plan on dropping off you car or truck. Sitting waiting I watched the guy at the counter go above and beyond helping a customer out that wasnt sure if he was even at the right place... theres more to the story but well done!!

Good work at a fair price. I had my 1965 Mustang in for new tires and alignment. The entire team did a great job and got me in and out in a reasonable amount of time.

Another tire service said they couldnt fix my tire that had a nail in it by spraying soapy water on it and it would be almost $100 for the cheapest tire they had in stock. Took it to Downtown Tire Pros and they were wonderful. Actually took tire off to see if they could fix it and they could. Service was great and fast and I was very pleased with finding an honest and reliable place for all my tire needs in the future.

I was in Hendersonville earlier this week, helping some friends move into their new home. When it was finally time to return to my hotel, I discovered the front wheels of my vehicle (Toyota RAV4) were making a terrible scraping sound (when braking, but sometimes also when just driving). Mind you, I was due to return home (about a 200 mile drive) the next morning - but I did NOT want to make that drive until I knew what wrong. I stopped by DTP and as luck would have it, their brake specialist (Bryan) had just finished a job, and was available to assist me. Bryan took my vehicle for a drive, put it on the lift and was able to quickly/efficiently diagnose the problem. He replaced a missing bolt, tightened a few other things and sent me on my way (no charge!). I find this level of customer service to be a rarity these days . . . I cant thank Bryan enough! I would definitely recommend DTP. Oh wait . . . I already have (to my friends who just relocated to Hville) 😊😊

Originally gave them a glowing review, but I have to be honest. I bought 4 new tires there ($1005.00). Paid the man and drove out of his lot. Felt a “whump whump” and stopped. The lug nuts on the right rear tire had not been tightened and were ALL LOOSE. Almost lost the tire. I called him, he came out, jacked up the truck and tightened the lugs. Then had to go back so he could check the wheel and studs for damage. No damage found since I was driving slow and caught it quick but if I hadn’t I wonder what the damage would have been had that wheel left the vehicle. Sure, it happens, one in a million - should have bought a lottery ticket that day - I won’t be back.

I drive my car for my work so if my car isnt running I dont make any money. I came in with the front and making a weird noise and Nelson and the guys got me straightened out right away. It turned out another shop had done a poor job patching and remounting a tire. They told me what needed to be done and how to talk to the other shop to get it done. Great service and they didnt charge me anything!
