Its a cool spot with limited parking. A local favorite in San Pedro. The menu is good for all day eating. We went for breakfast. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs my wife had an omelette both very good. I have never had lunch here. My only complaint is their prices. The same meal at my local spot is 10.00 less with larger servings.
Okay. This place is a true San Pedro local spot. Sits on top of Pacific Ave overlooking San Pedro Harbor. Weve been coming here for over 15 years. Great food, atmosphere, and friendly staff makes this a must go place.My favorite is their Beef Stroganoff omelette followed by a close second, Beef Enchilada omelette. I highly recommend both of them. Look for them on their Daily Specials Board. Unfortunately, these 2 items are not available every day.
What an amazing little spot. Service and all of our food was excellent. Amanda took great care of us first timers. Steak tips with biscuits and gravy was my favorite.
If you are in the area (even worth a fairly long drive) this is a stop you need to make. The friendly service, food and atmosphere was spot on! Literally the BEST in all three categories!
We ate there in 2016 we are a french couple and we never forgot about this restaurant. We had an Amazing Time people were nice the food was good. We highly recommand this place.

A local landmark eatery that has seen better days. Could be so much more.Service has been suffering lately and would surely be blamed on covid and thats getting old. Be better and be remembered for it. Foods okay but could use some updating.
Well first off there staff is great..Chad is fantastic...boy what a worker he is..if you need coffee a new chair.hell he even gave me good advice regarding my wife. There lucky to have him. What a guy..great staff

Chili fries, burger and coke. Chili is amazing but not sure if Id pay close to $10+ for 1 order of chili fries. For what it is, the food is on the expensive side. Gave my 2 cents about the place to Providence Hospital employees and they agreed on expensive for what it is.
Good food for a good price. The John Wayne special was extremely good, eggs and potatoes absolutely covered in a delicious Spanish Sauce, and the biscuits and gravy were stupid good. Slightly sweet biscuits that are baked through but still just a tiny bit doughy, covered in a rich and smokey flavoured gravy. This place was awesome and I would eat there again.
This place is consistently good food, friendly staff, with just the right amount of service! I have enjoyed eating here over the past 10 years and have sampled a wide variety of their meals, which have all been good!

We appreciated the fact they were able to accommodate seating for our large group of 20+ persons. The service was not the greatest. They seemed very unorganized, a few times forgetting to bring things out. Most places will make sure kids get served first, here my 3 year old nephew was one of the last ones served. The server even had to ask what he had ordered because she wasnt sure. Unacceptable. Another nephew ordered a bowl of chili, the cheese was a slice of what looked like Kraft American cheese, not shredded cheddar cheese like most places would use. If Im ever in that area again, its pretty likely I wont be going there again.

The Pacific Diner is the best breakfast you’ll find in the South Bay area. The service is amazing and the food is unbeatable. If you find yourself anywhere in the South Bay, stop in, you won’t regret it.
20 years later, moved back north, we still talk about driving 40 minutes from Redondo Beach for the Beef Stroganoff Omelette at the Pacific Diner. Happy to see this place still going strong.

Been around the world best breakfast joint I ever had hands down,this is a staple of San Pedro and the whole US as far as Im concerned.Best Omelettes in the world best breakfast potatoes in the world excellent Chile Verde, try it smothered on the Omelettes and you will thank me.Breakfast is an important meal of the day but every time I go back home to California I make sure to.time my trip where I get to L.A around 7 am so I can stop first thing at the Pacific Diner on Pacific Blvd.I cannot express how awesome this place is and the Service, my cousin Haliegh works there and she is awesome as well make sure to ask for her.But God I am craving this place as I type this

I recently was here (before the pandemic) & met my San Pedro BFF with my daughter & took her here & then on a little tour down memory Lane. My first apartment was on 39th street behind a beautiful old house that I dreamt I’d own someday. We used to walk there on the weekends for breakfast. One of my most special memories. The food was still outstanding! I just hope all you Pacific Diner fans support this iconic landmark. I was thrilled that it was still there to share with my daughter♥️

Prices across the the menu are about $2.50 more than it used to be. They didnt have the dish I wanted. Which was the reason why I went. Overall its ok.

What a classic! After all this time, Pacific Diner is still one of the best breakfast spots in San Pedro. The staff is great, seating is excellent (you can choose between outside, inside, and inside at a booth) and you get exactly what you pay for. Cannot recommend more.
Melissa was my waitress she was on it I didnt have to ask for anyting she made sure I had everything. And the way she communicated with her regulars it was like they were all family. I definitely recommend the strawberry waffle. Thanks again Pacific Diner for another great meal.

Drove down to San Pedro this morning for breakfast. The food was very tasty, particularly the biscuits and gravy. However, what really made this place stand out was the staff who was incredibly friendly and helpful. Ill definitely make the drive down here again.

There was very little room, of course, and all the fuss at the bar was visible. On the other hand, this is why we came here! The picture is like in an American movie.We were given a menu and a mug, where we poured coffee all the time (after the first portion of free, but maybe it seemed to us). We read the menu for a long time, the prices are really low there. Lots of egg dishes (omelets, eggs, etc.).Personally, I had some fat and very tasty toast. Its okay, anyway. If you need a snack, come in, the staff is friendly, prices are low.
