Excellent Mexi market with fresh street tacos and other fresh products in their deli. Great prices too

I just got there to get Mexican food. Like burritos,tacos, tortas and ceviche. Their foods are delicious and customer service is friendly.

Came here for a money service, stole my change. The front desk lady ignored me while looking through my purse. I dont care if you believe me. Im here to warn you. Trust no one.

Occasionally I would come in and buy the shredded beef burrito and it wasnt always the greatest BUT this last time I went it was very delicious and flavorful... hopefully it stays that way. Customer service was good as well

Professional staff answered all questions and they have a very good inventory of products

We cash checks here, no need to have your ID everytime. The store does a one time review of your info, logs you into their system so they only need to access the account you own.

The food at their deli is so good. The burritos are huge and cheap plus come with a can of soda. The burrito bowl is my new favorite and I have had it with every meat selection plus a chile verde from the steam table. Generous servings, well seasoned and all specials come with a drink.

This market is GREAT. Fresh produce and also has a taco shop. Really has everything! Thanks guys!

El Toro Market has the best tacos and burritos. If you like spicy, just ask for the green sauce and oh!, the red sauce is also the best. Talk of value for money when you shop their farm produce. Everything sold there is affordable. Give them a try and you wont regret it.

Quick to go food inside of a grocery store

Last 3 times i went and asked for a asada burrito with no beans.. NO BEANS. .3 times.. Everytime.. Beans.. I know my fault for hot checking.. Bummer gonba stop going to a place i been going to for 7 years because they cant take an order..

Their prepared food is the best. Its just too bad its not a restaurant to be to have meals. They would be the best in town.

Tried to cash my check and there was an issue, which was fine until I had called in to confirm how to resolve it and was met with EXTREMELY rude service. The woman I was on the phone with had no intention to actually help me solve the problem and spoke to me like I was incompetent.

The street tacos here are just absolutely amazing. The best in town! My favorites are the carnitas and carne asada. The ladies at the counter are always very nice!Only complaint I have about this place is that sometimes theres no cashiers at the registers. But come here for the tacos they are so worth it!!!

My fave local spot for mexican food, love it all, the tacos, burritos, chicken, rice, beans, everythingis fire...the ladies can cook and are super friendly, and great prices!! I even had food catered for a party one year and everyone loved it! I bring all of my out of town guests here lol.

Cute little corner latin market. They have fresh fruits & veggies as well as hot ready made fresh food woth daily/weekly specials. I love buying healthy nopales & theyre not always easy to find most other local stores, so this is one of my stops for those. Their hot food is so delicious, love their fish tacos & different types of guisos / guisados, they have ALL been very delicious!

I have good food but unfortunately most of the people do not speak English so sometimes dont get the correct things on your food

Vegetables not fresh, checkstands always crowded with items. but good service in meet department and food department.

Right now with the Corona Virus surge and mandated mask, the employees all employees should be wearing a mask properly. That means both your mouth and nose covered and using gloves when serving the hot foods regardless of just using the scooper. One lady today at the hot foods area wasnt wearing it properly and didnt use gloves at all when serving the food. 3 cashiers had their noses sticking out. Out of curiosity I asked why they dont cover their nose. She said personally I cant breath with the mask covering my nose, I told her well, it defeats the purpose of wearing a mask. Her response was Im only hurting myself. Me in my mind was no youre hurting yourself and contaminating everything around you. The market should tell all their employees to wear it properly while at work and its their business what they do out of work.

EXCELLENT PRICES, GREAT SERVICE..

Butcher area was stocked and had great cuts of meat. The guacamole was runny and was not really good. Mexican rice was super dry, store was a little cluttered but all in all was alright.

Convenient place to shop if you want to get in and out.

Somethings are overpriced to much

One of the most expenive Mexican markets, I have gone to. Service was the only good thing. Fruit and veggies were old, meat and seafood was overpriced, not sure how fresh it was. I did not get any of their premade food so I am unsure if the tacos make up for it. Not a place I would go back to.

They have good price for meat, however the place is not the cleanest. I think all their produce are from local farms. I have never tried the food they prepare there but it must be good because there is always a line of people waiting to buy it.

This is a very good market for Mexican food and American food. Fresh veggies, ready made foods or deli style meats, whichever you prefer.The people are helpful and yes, they speak English. I really had a great experience when I shopped there, and I plan to make them a regular stop on my shopping list.

I dont really do any grocery shopping here but I do stop in for a beer and some tacos. The $1 tacos and or the $5 burrito and soda special are excellent! This is a great place to stop in for lunch if youre passing through the heart of town. Also if youre having a get together and you need guacamole or salsa of multiple varieties this is your spot for freshness and quantity. From what Ive seen they offer a variety of services from check cashing two money orders and Etc. They have good prices on beer as well as common Liquors

Great place to pay your electric bill (if you dont have a credit card) or pick up some last minute canned menudo with a lottery ticket. Other than that, Id pass.

You need to buy a postage stamp and the post office is closed they sell them for $0.75 and they have excellent customer service really nice stuff

There food is ok not crazy bought the parking its to small entrances and exits theres other places its not for me I rather go to Cardenas myself and then again Its just my opinion

This El Toro market is ok. They have a new girl who always has a bad attitude problem. She argued me down about a price that she was wrong about. The owner had to correct her. He also mad her apologize for arguing with a customer. That is something she should of knew about before getting the job

I ordered asada tacos and they were super good. Customer service was good too.

I typically love this market, until someone behind the counter gives you a hard time. Its happened to me twice, with two different workers behind the counter. One girl accused me of stealing when I had the receipt in my hand, and had actually just been through her line a few minutes prior, having spent just about $40 bucks. Im sure it was a mis understanding, but made me feel horrible. Being accused doesnt feel good, Especially when I dont steal. Second accurance just now, was that I needed to use their restroom, but they wanted me to leave my purse and bag, and she couldnt confirm that she would watch it, as a matter of fact, when I asked if someone would watch it, she said no. I told her my wallet and computer were in there. I opted not to use the restroom, as I had even offered for her to check my bag when I returned. It was difficult walking away not having releasing my bladder, but it wasnt worth potentially losing my important, necessary items. So now, Ive got to walk and find another way. It could have gone very differently, especially since I shop there frequently, including the $30 I just spent on lunch there. Doesnt make me a very happy customer. Im rather sad, and my bladder is still full.

I always shop here. They have great deals. I have never had a problem with any meat I have bought here and I go her about twice a month. The owner and employees have always been very polite to us and greet us when we walk in.

Only good thing from this place is the fresh food you get here. Taco stand. Their prices are crazy high. It always smells in this place like rotten meat. Bought meat from this place and had to toss it. It smelled so bad even after cooking it. I will never buy meat from this place. I dont understand why the prices are so high? Yet they look like theyve been sitting on the shelves forever collecting dust. Im surprised they never shut down after the issue they had? But my opinion would be if you want great meat that looks and tastes right got to los altos meat market on Florida and carmelita. Get you money worth.

The layout of the store was confusing and narrow. The market isnt clean nor inviting and neither is the staff. Everything is overpriced. I PERSONALLY wont ever visit this store again, only because I am all about the vibe in the establishment. The lady in the kitchen was rude and seemed bothered the entire time. We really wanted to buy more cooked/prepared items from the kitchen but felt discouraged by the customer service. We only ended up getting some carnitas, beans and chicharron con chile, which was pretty delicious. Although I will not be returning, I WILL however ask my husband to stop by and pick up some chicharron con chile every once in a while! 😅 Shameless, I know! But it was GOOD! All the other stuff, I can live without. 😏

This place always stinks like old meat. They have expired food items. Gross! But on the upside they accept ebt calworks an cal fresh. They also have an indoor restaurant an if they are the original owners since 2012 then the tacos are really good. $1 I think if I remember correctly.

Its one of those little corner stores, that has just what you need. Best little store.

Always in and out with what i came for. The restaurant isnt so good though. I get carne asad fries from there all the time and when a guy takes my order or an unfamiliar woman, they mess it up. Its really simple to make carne asada fries. One time i prder them and they gave me tacos. I was just like????? Thats not my order. Cashiers are a bit rude the guys that work there are really cool people. As for product quality, its mostly good. Everything ive ever picked was clean and not old or rotten but everyone should always be aware of what they are buying. Stores cant be %100 ontop of every item stocked when labor is limited
