Please don’t go here! They rigged by vehicle after an inspection to increase the revenue. I reported them to the state immediately! After calling the state they had to re inspect the part they failed but reinspected everything, I inform the State again. They basically got in trouble!They are scamming people.

This place is horrible. They put junk yard parts in your car & charge for brand new parts. Do not trust them! Not even an oil change they may put bad oil in your car.

If you are reading this please let me save you some time and money.This place is the WORST. I found this place on google so hopefully I can persuade you to STAY AWAY. I was very unbias even after reading some of the terrible reviews on google before I went in. Lets just say the reviews that were bad were spot on. This was the first and LAST time I will EVER do business with this dump. All they want is your money so DO NOT go there. They sold me a speaker and somehow it blew after having it in my car for 3 days. I did not turn the volume up to crazy levels. They told me they would replace the speaker but that I had to buy over $300 worth of additional equipment. If they would have told me this in the first place I would never have bought the speaker. They really are quick to get your money. I asked for a refund and they said they would not give me one. These guys will rip you off. I am really disappointed I did business with that place. I hope they close down cause they are scum. Please do yourself a favor and go to a place that has better reviews even if it is a little more expensive because at least youll have something that works for the money instead of having something that is broken and having them make your buy more stuff which will be more money in the long run and more time and hassle getting to their shop. I know this is long but I honestly cannot believe they do business like that and I really will pray every night before I go to sleep that they go out of business. Please do your part in not going to this audio store. YOUR WELCOME.

I believe that overall, these guys will typically do a good job on your car. So far, I have gotten everything installed in my car properly. But I will list the cons -1.) Their sales reps are hasty to overcharge and give you ridiculous numbers on installations that they dont typically do. For instance I asked how much it would cost to install a cool air filter in my vehicle. One of them told me it would cost me $250 because it would take 2 guys to work on my car. A ripoff artist mechanic in St. Peters told me he could do it for $35 by himself.In another instance, the same sales rep told me it would cost me $100 for a new knob shifter installation. Where are they getting these prices from? It seems like theyre just looking out for their own commission. Later on when he found out it couldnt be installed he asked me what my favorite color was. I told him blue, and he told me they wanted to install a blue led light for my grand am grill instead for the same $100.2.) One time, they down talked me for going to another person who installed an auto starter 2 way for cheaper. Good job guys. Great customer service.3.) After I started to come in a bit more frequently and patronize this business, Dominiqe and Josh the sales representatives still didnt know my name. lol. I think forming a comforting relationship with the client would help business.On a good note, they did have people who installed after market headlights for me as opposed to most auto shops that couldnt.Overall, Showoff Audio Center has skilled technicians back there. Their customer service is not that great and prices can be hit or miss. I feel most of the time, the sales reps just see you as a dummy dollar sign. When it comes to cars, Its never easy to find the right mechanics and technicians, but Ill have to skip Showoff for right now.

I thought this place would be good, but i thought WRONG. A couple years ago I had them put in an entire system. Since then, Ive had a horrible buzzing sound coming from my stereo and every time I took it back they told me that it wasnt their install that was the problem, it was the way my car was built that put out a feedback loop. I naively believed it and put up with the sound. Years later when I sold the car, I decided to take all the components out myself and lo and behold I find wires that were TAPED TOGETHER with electrical tape (not soldered or shrink-wrapped) and also found the culprit to my woes: They took an RCA wire, connected to the ground location by wrapping the cut end around the screw, and then wrapped the ground wire from the head unit directly to the RCA plug with a layer of tape around it. If there was a contest for worse job in the history of car audio, the winner of the contest would be ShowOff Audio. Avoid. At. All. Cost.

Terrible, terrible service. They are VERY quick to take your money and have zero interest in actually delivering in a timely manner (or in my case at all). They do not care about you and Ive tried for months to get the owner to call me back. He still has not called.I went in on December 17th to get heated seats installed for my wife. Charged me $300 and said itd take three hours. I asked if they could be installed before Christmas, and they said no so we set up our appointment for January 1st. My wife, my 6 month old son, and I sat outside for 20 minutes on the 1st only to eventually realize they werent open. To top it off, they dont even have a voicemail or recording on their phone.When I talked to Josh the next day, he said we were scheduled for December 23rd, which I know is wrong. And even if I really was set up for the 23rd, why didnt they call when I allegedly missed my appointment?We rescheduled for January 11th, and the whole family dropped the car off. A few hours later, they called saying they didnt have the right part and would have to order it. This is 100% their fault for not having the right part, yet I had to go pick the car up, still with no heated seats.Josh said theyd call Monday morning, but never did. I called several times all week and each time he said hed call me back when they get the part, and they never did.Eventually we got it scheduled for January 25th. Instead of 3 hours like I was originally told/sold, it took 10. When they called for me to pick up the car, I was told itd be ready in a half hour. Of course when I go to pick it up, it was in fact an hour until it was ready. To top it all off, they then informed me the passenger seat was only half-heated (they could only do the lower back). After all this, it still wasnt what I paid for or was promised.I told Josh that the whole experience was terrible and throughout the time he was very quick to apologize, but never owned up or made it right. I was completely civil, never raised my voice, but maybe I should have. I asked on at least 3 separate times over 2 months to have the owner call me, and he never did.I will NEVER do business with this company again, and I will do everything I can to make sure others know. Absolutely horrible, never been treated like this by anyone.

Never trust a business that doesnt have Yelp reviews or checkins. It bothered me at first because Yelp is a review site I believe in and faithfully come to for guidance. But thanks to a great Groupon deal, I denied my uneasy feeling and took a chance with the few Google and Facebook reviews and purchased a $185 auto starter.I live a half-hour from this establishment so its not very convenient to my home. Plus I work, so I cant sit with the car while its being worked on.I spoke with a representative twice last week and was told TWICE I could drop my car off the night before. The night before being tonight: Tuesday, December 10. I double checked with their (super-busy and slightly overwhelming) website to ensure the hours matched what I was being told. Sure enough, it said 9am to 9pm. Well, its barely 8pm and my car is sitting in my parking spot in my neighborhood. Despite the fact Id worked it out with my mother to meet me there so I could leave my car overnight and worked it out with my grandmother to borrow her car so I could still get to work while my car was being serviced, my car sits in my parking spot in my neighborhood. My car should be in Hazelwood right now awaiting a morning time appointment.However my mother beat me to this establishment and told me their lights were off. This was two hours prior to their closing time. I did not believe her. I called Showoff Audio Center. No answer. No voicemail (unprofessional). I called their second location in Illinois just to see if there was a memo Id missed. No answer. No voicemail (is this normal?). I guess it was a national take-off-when-you-feel-like-it-regardless-what-you-told-future-customers.My appointment is for tomorrow and as for now, its cancelled since I do not live or work nearby and this is a job they insist on keeping the car for an entire day. Depending on the tone of the service personnel and IF theyre even open tomorrow when I call, I may be seeking a refund. $185 isnt chump change and I will not let them play with my money.I would much rather discuss this with the guys at Showoff Audio Center versus leaving them a salty review, especially since they should still be open...but...

Worst overpriced place to get your car serviced all they car about is their bottom line came to get work done for brakes and left with a alternator and didn’t tell they replaced till I came to pick my car up and said they didn’t have to call me it needed to be done but I drove my car there and didn’t have any issues that I knew about and then they told me that they couldn’t give me the old one back because they had to turn it in for a discount I came in for a 150 dollar job and left paying 600 worst place ever
