Friendly staff, clean and quaint place with great coffee. Had a nice conversation with Makayla and another gentleman who worked there - ordered coffee twice while waiting for vehicle service. Spoke about the business, my travels and other. Would recommend the fruit loop coffee.

This is a great cafe, the iced latte with their house made basil syrup was so delicious. The pop tarts were yummy, they had the perfect crust. And the barista was the friendliest barista ever, he really was. I only have two complaints. There was no seating, they just had a drive-though. And the cortado was WAY too hot, which totally ruined the flavor. Good cortado’s are hard to pull off, because you can’t mask the flavor with flavored syrups and lots of milk. That’s why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5. Still my top coffee pick for Hattiesburg!

Warm atmosphere and friendly baristas. Their menu has all the staples of a coffee shop: drip, pour-over, latte, espresso, etc. I heard about their “cereal-milk” lattes and was super excited. I tried the Apple Jacks latte and savored the sweet and cinnamon flavors. I plan on trying their other flavors asap.Very cozy area with two small tables to sit at. You can watch part of their brewing process and a big machine in the middle of the shop (I think the roaster?) Small pastry options like croissants, muffins, & scones are available. Drive thru is easy access with a wrap around path.

Eager and excited to try, since Im from close to Hattiesburg, I bought 2 bags of whole bean medium roast, and I was so disappointed. It was so weak that I could barely taste the coffee and had an unpleasant, no body taste. Even turned my strength grind up, to no avail. I so wanted to like it.

This place is great! Im no coffee expert, but I know what I like... and I love it here. The beans are roasted in-house and on display for the public, and the owner and crew know their stuff. This isnt an overblown national chain that cant get your name right seconds after you say it; these folks are the real happy deal, who care about their coffee, and the customers to whom they serve it.

We got the cold coffee, and it was the best we have ever had. The building is a work in progress, but what they have finished is very nice. The staff is very friendly. I would go out of my way to buy from them over Starbucks any day.

Delicious coffee in a very cool venue! Tommy has transformed this building into a welcoming coffee shop that offers some really great tasting brew and a behind the scenes look at the roastery. Staff are friendly and helpful as well. Definitely worth a stop!

Not enough seating. Location in older part of Hattiesburg. Now the good stuff. They roast their own coffee and you can watch. Significantly better coffee quality than Starbucks and other imitators. This not an imitation Starbucks. It’s the next level.

I’ve been buying their ground coffee for years and was so excited they opened a coffee shop! The coffee is even better when they make it fresh in their shop! What a great addition to Hattiesburg :)

AWESOME PLACE! Got to meet the owner and duscuss coffee with him and he knows coffee. Locally owner and rosted coffee in house as well. The baristas were great and attentive to everyone as well as knowing locals on a first name basis. GREAT place to visit and get a cup of coffee!

Details:I make at least a weekly visit to Grin Coffee. Its definitely my favorite coffee. IMPORTANT: this is not a coffee shop. It is a rostery that sells awesome coffee drinks.The Short:I always leave satisfied. The staff is awesome and most of the time you get to watch the coffee roasting process.The Long:Like I said, this is not a coffee shop. They have two small tables and a sitting bar where you can enjoy your beverage and watch Tommy (the owner) work his magic roasting coffee.As for drinks, dont think your going to get your fluffy Starbucks frappe. This place sells real coffee. They have regular drip coffee, pour overs, cold brew, nitro coffee and always something special. Once I got a jalapeño basil nitro coffee drink. Sounds weird, but it was pretty good. At the writing of this review, they were making cereal milk lattes (lattes made with milk that your favorite cereal soaked in).As for food, if you get there early enough you can get a bacon cheese or chocolate croissants from Town Square Bakery (down the road). Probably the best croissant youll ever eat.I love this place and keep a stock of their whole bean coffee at home and work. If you havent been yet, go. If your passing through, go. Bottom line, you need to go!

I have had Grin Coffee brewed at other establishments but their new standalone location knows coffee. Their cold brew was some of the best I have had.
