I called Best buy to see if they had the product I was looking for before making the 100 mile round trip . I was on hold for 10 minutes before my call was answered .I was told the product was in stock . I took the time to explain exactly what I was looking for .When I get there they dont have it . The only reason I gave One star is the associate assisting me to not find the product was some what helpful .
Had to literally run up to an employee to get help. She was helpful, but while trying to find something else, another employee saidjust go look at the boxes over there. Really?
They have seriously cut down on the movie selection. The employees are either rude, helpful, or absent depending on when you go. Not many places in Hattiesburg where you can get quality electronics so we put up with the horrible service.

They care and they are determined to make things right.I tried to buy a computer for my mom(85+) at our local BB, but my online purchase was rejected multiple times because the billing address kept defaulting to hers and it caused a fraud shut down.In the 20 minutes I was re-entering and re-entering the info, the computer that were available locally were no longer available. Anyone that knows anything about virtual inventory, knows that those computers were still there they just got earmarked during the failed purchase process. But I was leaving town the next day and wasnt going to leave without getting this computer.So I called customer service, and they helped make the purchase, over the phone, at another Best buy that was 85 miles away. But when I got there, 2 hours before closing, that computer was not scheduled to arrive today. I was about to lose it!! I could not walk out to that car and tell my mother after all of this, that we werent going to get her a computer!!!!!Anyway the day was saved by Maurice, Tony C, Gabriel and Tony O. They found the exact same model in their current inventory, Cancelled the original purchase refunded the money created a new purchase and in the process save me $0.78.And maybe kept me from being escorted out by security. . . Absolutely saved the day!
Purchased cell phone booster, I guess my best buy associate was having a tough day, he knew less about the product than I did. I was unable to keep his attention during the purchase process. Notified another associate to check on him, that something was wrong.

They were out of the size I needed but then he pulled the old β32nd street Macyβs v. Gimbles Santa referralβ by referring me elsewhere as I needed one right away. Christmas in July. Gotta love it.
The folks at Hattiesburg BestBuy really went above and beyond for me. I bought a Whalen TV stand that was delivered by UPS. Unfortunately, UPS shattered one of the glass shelves and the glass pieces scratched up the other shelf. Whalen said it would take 7-9 weeks to get replacements. Went to BestBuy, and they allowed me to take the demo units glass. I was leaving town and couldnβt wait for a new full TV stand and this was the quickest way to address the problem. Kudos to the manager and staff for making my day!!

We have spent lots of money here, buying appliances as well as computers. Although its the go-to place for meeting needs like this (and probably your best deal), there are some flaws which should be addressed, mostly with leaving customers waiting. Nobodys perfect for sure. And I will shop here because, where else can I put hands on appliances and computers and security systems and see them demonstrated in the store? Just be prepared to wait for a while for a cashier ... and the Geek squad, being Geeks, might totally forget you are outside on the curb waiting for a computer to be loaded into your car.
I like having this Best Buy around in a pinch, but I have to say the on-site stock is disappointing. I realize its one of the smallest in the nation, however as a former IT contractor, I get asked to help with many projects including things I have going on at home. I would prefer to get things locally rather than wait for Amazon to hopefully have my package delivered on one piece. I have to say, however, the staff here are remarkable. Everyone is so polite, attentive, and informative. They are the extra star and I honestly believe one of the main reasons this franchise does so well. Thank you all for delivering such amazing service whenever I am there. I simply wish I could find more items that didnt have to be ordered. When it comes to ordering, its rather simply to find them cheaper somewhere else. I dont mind paying more for the convenience of leaving with it in-hand.
I call trying to get a screen power cord and the phone just rang for 15 min. No one answered and then it cut off. Not the first time like this that something has happened. Will not be back by
Great experience searched all over for a Samsung smart tv, went as far as Jackson but none of the Walmarts had one in stock went to Best buy bought it paid for it they shipped it to me they said it would be in Sunday called me Friday and told me that it was already in service staff was great cannot find a better place next time will not even worry about going elsewhere just go there and get the newer TV found out that Walmart sell the older ones

I went into this store with 2000 dollars cash on me intending on walking out of there with a 70 inch tv. Stood around for a solid 20 minutes with no help from any employee and when she finally walked up, I had my mask hanging from one ear while taking a sip from my drink and she acted like I had pulled a fully automatic machine gun out or something. I put my mask back on but she still seemed terrified of me and made the situation very uncomfortable so we decided to leave. I showed my cash before I did though but the employee seemed totally uninterested in selling me anything and was obviously glad that I left. This was a very unprofessional ran store and I will not be back.
They looked and looked and got the Geek Squad out, but still couldnt find a solution to my problem, trying to hook a micro SATA up to a SATA, or USB or???

I went to geek squad for service on my computer . Instead of being a help to find me a solution . The service I received was more of a discouragment. The Representative in my view didnt want to help me and found every excuse not to . Im a Best Buy Patron From Tampa Florida & A Radio Station Owner that just moved to this area & I May Have To Reconsider this establishment as my computer analysis store in the future . Im very disappointed

I need a replacement USB cable for my printer. The person at the front door pointed me to the right section but the cable I needed was on the bottom part of the shelf. I couldnt see what I needed. I spent the next 10 minutes looking for someone to help me. So expect to have trouble finding a floor associate to help if you cannot find the item you need on your own.
Quick and easy to buy a phone that I attempted to buy at Walmart last night but they couldnt get it to scan correctly.
They dont have a very large inventory. Most of the salesmen are not very knowledgeable. I have purchased a few things that were broken right out of the box... looks like they were returns that were repackaged.I did have one salesperson that was very helpful. His name is Jericho. He was friendly and informative.

Your standing in front of me just answer my question.There is 6 employees walking around talking to each other and I have to wait to be next in line...in the Q ...I feel like I am on Star Trek waiting on the almighty Q..The young lady at the register is the only reason this store is getting any stars...

We were instantly approved for a lease on our equipment and needless to say, I got my new job because of Jasmine! She helped us with the quick and easy loan process, helped us load our cart, estimated prices, and made sure to make us feel taken care of and welcome. Always had an easy experience here. Its especially nice that there is a balance of salesmanship and letting you explore/think when you are considering a purchase. The employees have always been able to help me find what Im looking for, but if I need space to look at a few products and think about it from my point of view of researching online and then considering in store they will leave me space to consider.

I stood around and walked around and at no point was I offered help. Im not a super forward person so my initial assumption was that everyone was busy helping another customer. If that had been the case I would have been happy to wait my turn. But as I waited I noticed that they werent busy, they were just content to be doing nothing.

This place is very nice and enjoyable. The staff is very helpful and informative. This is one of the best stores to fulfill all the electronics needs anyone has. They have phones, TVs, DVD players, smart watches. They even have 23andme DNA kits! Seriously, this is the place to go. Hey, the Geek Squad is also useful and will help to repair your computer of you encounter any problems. I definitely recommend.
