Im a truck driver, my company has a deal with pilot that gives us incentives to fuel at pilot/fueling j. Today, a few days after hurricane Ida, I tried to go in and get some food, no other place is open, and they turned me away at the door. Its been over 24 hours since Ive had anything to eat. They were completely stocked with food and fruit. To the people at this location: go to hell. I cannot believe this is how you treat truck drivers that are literally saving your butts delivering goods you require. If I was able to eat, Id leave the processed remains on your front steps.

Great Price on Gas and Friendly Staff

Tropical depression 300 miles away and they shut down. So here we are needing fuel and cant get any so having to spend the nite in the fuel lane with truck off cause I dont have enough to run it tonight, its like sleeping in an oven. I could understand if we were in the way of the storm but we are way way far from it.

Rude service at both registers here. Brought back in the 13 cents I owed because they were short on coins but said not to worry about it. Sat my change on the counter and they just looked at each other like I was stupid for wanting to give the few cents I owed. I didnt mind because Im staying in the lot overnight and my truck is full of coins. Anyway, no thank you or anything. Hate to bring color into it, but Im white, so Im pretty sure that was it. Cant think of any other reason. Wont be coming back, thats for sure.

This place is a little tight for big RVs (55 ft) with tow cars but we made it fine. The employees were fantastic.

Restaurant never open, urine puddling in the bathrooms, the employees are stressed and letting everyone know about it. The place is garbage. Terrible management makes this dumpy establishment even worse. Congratulations guys! You are just as bad as truckstops in NJ.

Some Drivers are a joker, if they still paying to park at this location, this place can’t enforce pay parking; I laugh every time I pass by seeing the few idiots that paid - they only got the spot because it was open, but if a non-paying person gets in first than, good luck 🤣😂... -this was and has always been the defeating reason of paying. Don’t pay! just park, it’s all open free, they won’t move you anyways 😂 (love seeing people that still got to learn) if your going to give out free money - then give it to the needy they will appreciate it a lot more...Good location to set in pay parking spot for free on a 34 - that’s how it rolls, some people park there cars in truck parking too, it’s just incredible....

Worst Pilot Ive been to. Im literally stuck in place and there is no security on premises to keep this from happening. Im glad I dont have to deliver till tomorrow.

Most of the parking spaces are paid parking. Restrooms are below the average. The asphalt is very bad.

If I could give a -5 star rating I would, avoid this place at all cost. Nasty showers, nasty attitudes. Reverse discrimination is practiced at this location.

Very small pilot, limited parking. 1 way in and 1 way out. You have to go through the fuel isle to park.

Gave away my reserved spot that I had payed for 6 hours in advance and refuses to enforce the policy. Disgusting restrooms and slow service. Parking lot is uneven and full of holes. Pilot is usually better than this.

Filthy store, restrooms, and showers (I ended up not taking a shower, Loves west of here is clean). Parking lot is disgusting, and full of pot holes. Half the pumps were down. Asked my company to take this Pilot off of our fuel stops. Won’t be coming back.

You know, if the Columbian coffee tastes like pumpkin and all the fuel islands are marked to be shutdown and the parking surface seems its seen world war 3 then you you need to assume it wonders long befor the truck stop are to close its doors permanently.

Went in to use the bathroom! Place inside is super nice and the bathrooms were spotless and looked So shiny and New!

Paid for trucker parking hours ahead of time. just arrived and all reserved spots were taken even though i made sure there were reserve spots before i paid. all they did was give me a refund so now i have to find another spot. nice leaving a trucker in the wind and overbooking or whatever.

This is a terrible location for a truck stop. If youre heading west bound you have to go through 2 double lane round abouts and we were pulling a 50 foot car trailer. The Pilot parking lot was full of pot holes and only 50 percent of the pumps were working where the 18 wheelers got fuel.

They DO NOT honor reserve parking. They will quickly refund your money instead of enforcing the rules.

The customer service was very poor a very rude I obviously had a old cup and then customer service cashier wanted to argue with me that it was a new cup according to the barcode and it wasnt you can clearly tell it wasnt a new cup bathroom skunk like piss there is pee all over the floor fecal matter on the back of the toilet paper towels everywhere its just a horrible experience for someone to go and deal with at that store

This location is terrible, I waste my 1 hour here . They have tiny space and only one way enter and exit . I waste more than one hour for exit after fuling. Truck drivers avoid this location

Reserved a parking spot and when I got there it was taken, so they had me park in front of the fuel island and woke me up 4 hours later to move. Also has dirty showers, good water pressure and heat though.

I am not sure why this Pilot moved there reserved parking, but this will be the only time I reserve a space here.Otherwise the inside is clean and staff was friendly.

My driver just asked for a sandwich. Had his mask on. Was not good enough for the counter help. The lady came up and then the man was back in the back like he was going to hit the man. Slamming his fist together like he was going to hit the customer because he felt his mas was not on right. I will slam this place with a lawsuit. I heard how the counter help both the man and lady acted. I call the store the Manager said they went to far. Ok now my driver still has nothing to eat. Worst customer service i have seen or heard in a long time.

Problematic gas station and company

Disrespectful male employee outside yells across the parking lot is that your truck as I am walking inside to get my parking pass then turns his back as I ask is there a problem he then yells your truck I ask my truck what and he turns his back again so I approach him asking is there a problem he move your truck or you are going to be towed and then walks away. I tell him do not turn you back to me tell me whats going on just move your Damm truck. So I go inside to speak to his manager before this essclates. I explain to his manager how disrespectful he was outside and she call him in and speaks to him about apologising he looks to me giggles then says sorry. His female manager drops her head and I say this is unacceptable. So she has him apologize again. Then finds out that I paid for parking them she states that he should have asked that first. Then printed out my parking pass.

Terrible, worst Pilot layout EVER. Do not fuel here if you want gas and towing a trailer, you may get stuck. Dirty facilities and unfriendly staff.

They do not regulate the reserved parking here so don’t waste your money. Manager said they will not go out after dark and make unauthorized trucks move from reserved spots and he refunded my money. So basically you can park in reserved parking and not pay for it. Note to self🤔

Bathroom disgusting bill gave me a shower never was cleaned hair of someone recently shaved in sink complained about it he was rude and making comments to other drivers about me who showers at 3 am

Pilot truck stops always great. Clean restrooms. Friendly staff, very helpful! They have everything you need. Like gas, snacks, car and truck needs, and if you need a gift they have that too . So much better than Loves truck stop!!!

Worst Pilot center ever. After waiting ten minutes in a line to ask for propane service, the lazy attendant said we don’t have anyone here who can do that today. Isn’t that her job?

Purchased fuel at this location a couple of times. I personally prefer the Petro across the road.

If you do not know or just havent tried, the Pilot Centers have the absolute best hot chocolate I have had from any travel center, convenience store, coffee shoppe, etc. This one unfortunately does not always have their machine full/operable. Have also seen where they have stocking issues on cup sizes. Cashiers/attendants are friendly and the place is clean and maintained well. Good overall but could be better.

The cashier was nice and quick with her work. My only problem with Pilot was their small cup drink prices are too high. At $1.49 for a medium sized drink, Circle K has gotten you beat with their any size Polar cup drinks for $0.79. Other than that, clean and efficient.

Small little pilot, very tight parking for trucks but thats our job so we should know how to do that. Washrooms are clean, coffee was good and showers were alright.

This time it was just a bathroom break on my way back home, but I usually stop in and get gas and coke for my trip. Im here at least once a week. They have food of different kinds and lots of different things they sell also. Including Powerball tickets and more. Its mainly considered a kind of truck stop but good for regular customers also.

Too small for truck stop! They do have a good waffle house next door though. But you may receive a door knocker at an ungodly hour. I know I sure did. No security and theres a sleaze motel across the street.! Pilot should really consider upgrading this stop or move location somewhere else that can accommodate a higher number of customers!

I love coming here. The people here have never given me a cross word or bad attitude. Very kind atmosphere!

Its your run of the mill truck stop with no great bells or whistles. The floors werent clean and the staff less than helpful when asked about local food. Affordable gas and drinks for the road were about all we could say good about this place. I recommend a Loves ot something better.

Avoid this cluster of a headache at all cost. The entire exit is a horrible disaster of traffic circles. The Pilot Travel Center is absolutely no place for an RV so do yourself a favor and find a different exit. This is a logistical nightmare and whoever designed this mess, Wow.... Really! 18 wheelers good luck with the traffic circles, every rig was riding the curbs. The actual store was very nice and clean but for cars only.

Dirtiest Pilot Ive ever had the displeasure of stopping at. Employees were very vocal complaining about their employer and other customers. Food prices were high compared to other Pilots, although gas prices were very competitive.

This truck stop is decent enough, but not as nice as the 1 in Denham Springs. La.. the coffee is fresh, the bathroom is clean but the staff is hit-or-miss. Some are nice and others not so much. They do have an Arbys inside but I havent been able to make it there during daylight hours.

Really great pilot. Clean and well stocked. Safe place to spend the night.

Have not yet had the pleasure of visiting this pilot and from most of the reviews not going too but I did notice that the owner or whoever it is responding to the reviews only responds to the good one or the ones about Arby’s maybe the owner should do more toward making the pilot a better place I live in Hammond you mention pilot and the response is lot lizard central just saying

Very clean and quick service. I was riding the bus and we stopped for a break. Everyone got in and out fairly quickly.

The showers were hot. The store was ok, but not the cleanest. I saw a roach by the coffee station. The employees were helpful and nice. The parking was good but filled up early evening. There were girls solicitating in the parking area by knocking on doors.

The parking was difficult to maneuver and Im not sure who the big rigs were able to pull it off. I was pulling a 5th wheel and had a hard time not running over sidewalks and what not. I saw big rigs back tires drive over gutters and sidewalks trying to get in and out of the location. Inside was good and the employees were very nice.

The bathrooms needs improvement looks like water damage in the stalls the showers where dissusting it doesnt even look like they clean it

Avoid this fuel stop, it takes only one customer to shut down entrance/exit, can waste a full hour just trying to enter then get out. Management can not do anything to help, cashier dosent care. My buisness has now gone elsewhere.

Out of coffee creamer in individual cups as well as the dispenser. Out of hot chocolate and the bathroom was in need of attention.

If you own a gas fueled RV class A avoid this place like the plague. Not set up for RVs, only one entrance and is used as the exit also. Truck traffic is terrible.

Good place to get something, or prepared for a long trip on the road. Highly recommend it for large families on roadtrips, or truck drivers.

Not horrible but Ive seen better. The ladies bathroom had paper all on the floor and little in stall trash bin was over the top. Honestly the store was kinda busy but not too busy to check out the restroom.

They got a arbys in this store its really good but this store is kinda hard to get to with the way the traffic circle now the if a 18 wheeler pulling out the entrance mite be blocked for 10 min they put drinks in the cooler rite under them drinks it says 2 for 5 but when you get to the counter its 2 for 7 just put a lil sign up put tape over the 2 for 5 instead of tricking your customers

4 empty showers and the woman who had to clean it spent more than 40 min talking and was not going to clean it one has to be wasting time for her and that is why I give her a very bad service and above all when I ask her I look daring and with all his calm he went there if he does not feel like working, let him leave if there should be people who want to work

I will never come back here and I will inform all of my co-workers as well not to stop at this location. I came in to take a shower and waited almost an hr before the white lady who is working tonight 6/25/19 11pm that the showers was closed because she didn’t feel like cleaning them. Also the laundry room is very filthy and nasty trash and dirt everywhere. I stop at pilots everyday it is the only gas station I fill at. After this visit I will not be dealing with this! What happened to standards and morals? Not to mention the thug friends she had standing outside the store. I have pictures to back up everything in the above statement. I will be letting Tyson know about this location being that this isn’t the first run in with other drivers as well.

As a trucker I could really go in on ALL truck stops for the price we pay for fuel vs. these bull rewards they offer us. Was in one the other day and had to paid to sleep in my truck(reserve parking) cause there was nowhere else to park for a grand total of $20 because it was after a certain time. First i ever heard of it. Oh! Almost forgot about the $450 in fuel. I was offered a no name, off brand, cheap 🙊 bottle of water as a reward for customer appreciation. If all your fuel lanes were full and every driver filled up with the same amount of fuel, theyve made a killing, but us truckers cant even get soft toilet tissue. What do we sit on ALL day?! Not a rant, js.

Stopped for gas at station next door, but they were out of gas, so I came here. While pumping gas I noticed how filthy the pumps were. So then I wondered why most of the gasoline stations I go to in Louisiana have such filthy pumps.The pumps everywhere I stop along the Louisiana I-10, I-12, and I-20 corridors are all like this more often than not. In other states, it seems more often than not the pumps are clean.

Worst pilot in the United States African American manager 0% customer service rude when I asked for a shower no acknowledgement no thanks hello how can I help you I paid and barely even wanted to pick up her hand to get my change I said thank you to keep professional and all she did was just stay quite and day dream who hires these people they have no energy to work they always with their attitude and laziness if your going to work customer service provide customer service if not why even work I see Mexicans and white people always upbeat with willingness to help greet and at least say thank you. African Americans are just lazy its all I gotta say.
