We have been taking our cars and trucks to this man for as long as he has been in busness . Never had a problem.Bought a car that someone was selling in the lot. Asked Rafael to check it out for us. After he said it checked out fine we bought it. We had him fix the air, he said he was putting a new compressor in.$400.00 and a 3 month warranty. A day later the car wouldnt start, we had to buy a new battery . Fine! 2nd week the brakes go out. So we have him fix them. They still are not right had to pump them to stop.. very spongy . Took it back they said they would bleed the brakes. Picked it up no difference...3 weeks later the air stops working. Took it back to him he says he cant Fix it because it was too cold out that day he said he would honor the warranty to bring it back when the weather was above 80s. So we bring it back. He checks it out and says it needs another compressor. And it will cost $400.00 . Says the warranty was for a used compressor an only good for a month. And he never put a new compressor on the car. . We will never take anything to him again. So much for being a loyal customer. Way to screw over a 78 year old customer who trusted you!

These guys do great work. Very professional and trustworthy in my experience. Their are prices are pretty fair. They are very knowledgeable about what they do. I went recently to have a brake line repaired. Turns out the brake lines were all bad and and falling apart and needed to be replaced. They were able to work with me on the price since it would cost quite a bit to do. Within a few days all the lines were fixed. I recommend everyone there when the need work done.

My power steering pump went out and they fixed it. Awesome. THEN it went out again. They told me its because you power steering had a leak. Thats why my pump went out again. I paid to get the leak fixed and they fixed the pump for free because it was under warranty. Couple days after I got it back, I found out my power steering STILL has a leak !!!! And now my pump went out again. So clearly I paid them for nothing!!! Will NEVER go here again!!!

I spend $500 to get my oil leak and noisy belt fixed. After I paid and picked up the car, I noticed the same noise immediately after turn the car on. After going back inside, they told me itll need more work. I wonder why they didnt tell me when I paid. At that point im already skeptical, so I waited pass the weekend and took my car to a different shop. By the way, throughout the weekend my car was still leaking, same wet spot on the ground. After getting it diagnosed by a different shop, I took it back to this place and the owner decided that hell fix my leak for free (the owner is really nice to be honest). But as of yesterday I noticed the leak again, same wet spot on the ground. To sum up, I paid $500 and still having the same problems before I went in. Same noisy sound, didnt even get quieter. And the same leak.

Two terrible experiences. Got an oil change, drove downtown and then my engine goes out. Year later got a tuneup and catalytic converter and then my transmission goes. I would not recommend them at all. Nice people, but I will not be returning.

Do not take your car here. I made the huge mistake of taking my car to them because I heard they do decent work for cheap. The problem with my car was that it wasnt starting (I previously changed the starter and sylnoid, had a specialist check out the wiring) but it would only start when it wanted to. They said they could find the problem and fix it. They called me a day and a half later, said that the starter was bad, they replaced it, and that my car was ready to be picked up. I got there, got in my car, turned the key, and nothing. I was mad, but went back in and told them calmly that it was still not starting. He said that hed keep it another day and get to the bottom of it. 2 days later he calls and says that the starter wasnt hooked up properly (yea....ok). So I go there, car starts, it was sketchy, but I took the car home for the night. In the morning, I take my son to school, and stopped to get gas before going to do my laundry. I pump my gas, get in the car, it doesnt start! (And Im all the way in Crete illinois) I call potros again, and tell them that the car is STILL not fixed. It had to be towed all the way back to hammond. He ignores me for 3 days straight, and then finally answers the phone on the 4th day and basically says that he has no idea what it is, but he can ghetto-rig a starter button to replace my key ignition. At this point Ive been without my car for over a week and have to get back and forth to work, so I give him the ok. The car has been starting using the ghetto button, but as I popped my trunk to get my laundry out, I noticed that my laundry basket was only half full. AND my capacitor (for my subwoofers) isnt working! I hooked it all up personally, everything is still hooked up correctly and should be working, but its not. They blew my capacitor! And stole like $300 of my clothes! Do not trust these crooks! And dont be suprised if you read about it in the newspaper bc Im definitely going to the police. I have no reason to lie and nothing to hide. My name is above!
