My husband brought my car to get check out today. They called with a price of 905 for 2 struts. Which I thought was very expensive. My husband picked my car up they charged 87 just for looking at it. My husband brought it to CAR WASH DEPOT they only charged 565 I had my car back it 4 hours. I DO NOT recommend bring your vehicle to this place.

Went in for an Alignment; car was still pulling. Went back a 2nd time; car handled better for a moment. Heard a pop and my handling got extremely bad. Had to bring to another shop since I wasnt in Hammond. They left two bolts completely loose and I am fortunate the damage wasnt worse and I didnt wreck. After speaking with Keith, he told me no problem and corporate would be able to refund me; call them. After speaking to corporate twice, they said they would call me with refund information. Emailed them back numerous times. Never heard back and refund was not mailed in. I would not trust their word or their services.

1st of all let me just start with his customer service skills although Casey was not the normal store manager for this location he didnt let that stop him from going ABOVE & BEYOND to assist me. 2nd whenever it comes to my tires Im nervous Betsy as a result of several blow outs in the past, but, Casey was like a real life super hero he calmed me down told me not to worry & immediately began to assess my issues. Overall, Casey & the staff at this location were very friendly, knowledgeable, & very likable!!!!!!! Although his store location is not in my area, Caseys personality & professionalism make going to his store worth the drive.

Keith, as always was professional and respectful. They always are. But, today I had a minor issue with my vehicle that turned out had nothing to do with the recent services conducted on my vehicle. Keith still got my car back immediately and solved the minor issue in minutes with no charge. Myself and my tired/hungry 1 year old were out of there in no time to. Keep it up, Keith. And corporate, give him a raise.

I honestly don’t even want to give them one star. I went into the shop early on a Saturday. It was my first time bringing my car there and was referred by a reliable source. After waiting for over an hour my car was done. Just a simple oil change. Well the next day I would find all my oil in my driveway. Not only did they put the wrong oil filter in it, they broke the O ring, and the housing. They were very understanding and paid for most of it to be fixed. But the point is I brought my car to you to work on because that’s what you job is. It wasn’t broke before it went in why did it come out broke. So after three days of NOT having my car I finally got it back. I think that they need to be better when hiring people to be sure that they know what they are doing and are well trained. I’m appreciative of them helping like they did but still doesn’t change how upset I was about my car being broken when it was perfectly fine before. Hopefully they start to get their stuff together.

They are quick and will help where they can. The two times Ive been to this place were very short notice. Both times they were quick to work with me and get any issues resolved. Ive listed to how they talk to other customers and all.around they show/give the same good service. Id recommend for sure. Great place for tires, brakes, oil changed and the truck will not kill on the exit ramp because of not enough oil from not running your motor so diesel engines can pump oil into the filter on top of the motor and check again Seriously MY truck low oil safety switch shut down the engine and I had to walk to a store for 2 gallons of diesel oil to get my truck to start I never went back for oil change just fueling up thats it.

I was looking for a place to have my car serviced in Hammond that was convenient to my job. I actually googled and found Twin Tire. I have not been displeased with the service by far! The entire team is absolutely wonderful and I trust them with my car care. They are courteous, professional, and extremely patient!!! If I could give this establishment 10 stars I would! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for great customer service and quality vehicle care. My last experience there was with Chris and Taylor, however EVERYONE is amazing!!!!

Recently had my oil changed and tires rotated there. Michael had me in and out in no time.

Took my truck here first thing this morning and was pleased with the service the minute I walked through the door. Chris greeted me and asked how he would help me. I came for a front end alignment, tire rotation, mount and balance. I explained to Chris that we previously had a front end alignment done 4 months ago and the people did a terrible job -it wore brand new tires completely down in 4 months. He assured me that wouldn’t happen again. Being a lifted truck it’s hard to find a place to do a front end alignment correctly and this place does just that. Chris kept me informed the whole time and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I could tell the difference already compared to last time just driving the truck home afterwards. I definitely recommend this place and will be bringing my other vehicles here as well in the near future! They also are awesome at getting you a great price!

Very nice people! my dad and i (from Lake Charles) were in hammond for a track meet. some guys came out and greeted us. they weren’t able to help, but did suggest another shop. we really appreciated it.i give them 4 instead of 5 stars only because they don’t do serious engine repair. so if that’s what you would need, you may need to go somewhere else.but super friendly staff! they did all they could for us and we appreciate that greatly!

Went here for an oil change and got that done quickly. The oil change came with a tire rotation however they said they couldn’t do it because my tires were too worn & they gave me a quote for new tires. The thing is I just purchased this car off of the Chevy dealership about a week or so ago & after verifying with them, Chevy “does grade all our tires for Saftey check and all so I know they did pass inspection when they left here. I will get the information for you to verify that” (from the dealership). So either they are trying to milk money out of people or they didn’t want to do the work because I was the last car that they worked on for the day. Either way, I don’t plan on going here anymore & would advise anyone who gets told that their car needs X Y & Z done to it from this place, get a second opinion before purchasing anything from them.

This place was amazing! I was travelling across the country when I realized there was something wrong with my car. Chris answered the phone when I called and was super helpful and kind. When I arrived Amanda took care of me as if she was family. She took all my information and even drove me to a local hotel where I could wait for my car to be finished. Chris picked me up a few hours later, recommended restaurants for dinner, and helped me understand what went wrong with my car. When I left my car was running perfectly. I would highly recommend this establishment if you ever need auto care.

Keith and his team are awesome, knowledgeable, and friendly. Cant complain about the prices either. If you have ever dealt with another shop who doesnt like to communicate, you will be pleasantly surprised here. They always call you and let you know what the problem is, how much it costs, how long it will take to fix, and whether or not you want them to proceed with the repair. All other shops take note. Our car broke down right as we were passing the Hammond exit, and we barely managed to coast onto the exit ramp. My husband had to walk all the way to Twin Tire to get a new battery, and was expecting to have to haul that heavy battery all the way back on foot. Called before I scheduled appointment and was told price to mount my tires was $16 plus tax each. After I arrived and waited, was then told price was $32 each plus tax.Just make sure you get a price In writing before you hand over your keys.

(These events were in summer 2018) (This is the only shop to have touched my autos)Twin Tire & Auto Care gets two stars from me, not so much because of the quality of work but for the smoke they blow. I’m new to the Hammond area and a friend suggested this shop.My first experience was a completely new set of tires. I found the tires were over-priced by a large margin. I was in a bind and they were for my daughter’s car who was about to leave for a trip the next day. I paid the higher price out of urgency. They forgot to reset the TPMS on the car so my daughter had to take her car back for the reset.My next experience, I needed the tires on a full size truck balanced (not rotated) and to repair a slow air leak on one of the tires. I asked the salesman twice, “do you plug or patch?” he said they patch tires and they never plug (Ok good). Just recently (November) I noticed that the tire they repaired has a PLUG in it, son of a gun, they didn’t patch it they plugged it!While waiting for my tires to be balanced the tech stepped out from the repair shop and suggested that I put the “bald” tire on the back. “The bald tire?” I asked, “Are you working on the white truck?” (My tires were NOT bald). He said “yes, let me show you.” We walked in the back and then pointed at what he called the “bald tire”. I looked at him waiting for the punch line, it never came, and this guy was serious. I said, “That tire isn’t “bald”. He said, “Well, it’s almost bald”. I was shocked at the attempted manipulation. I’m no idiot and I’m more mechanically inclined than he thinks. I said, “Sure, let’s put the better tire up front”. A bit later I got my truck although I had to get a cleaning wipe to wipe off the grease from my center console their mechanic left behind.Recently I ordered a new set of tires on-line for a trip up north and I need winter tires for the area. I drove over to Twin Tire & Auto Care to ask about the price to install them. (Like I said, this review is about the smoke they blow not the quality of work) They said $160 to install all four tires. I said never mind I will find a better deal. I called Discount Tire Direct and they quoted me $80 for all four tires (half the price as Twin Tire & Auto Care) plus lifetime balance and rotate. Twin Tire & Auto Care will only offer that deal if you purchase tires from them.My choice is clear, never return to Twin Tire & Auto Care and take my money to Discount Tire Direct. I wonder if there is a Twin Tire & Auto Care used car lot.I’m more upset with this shop for treating me like an idiot, lying and selling overpriced tires / services. If they will do it to me I know darn good and well they do it a lot.

Most customers such as myself are very loyal.My Subaru needed a new right front axle and after receiving quotes of $900 at other shops I went to Twin Tire. I was in and out for $260.They are pretty busy so appointments sometimes are difficult to make at times that you need, but worthwhile if you plan in advance.There may be less expensive places but you always feel like you received what you paid for.For what its worth it has the usual customer waiting area but larger great TV good coffee and free Wi-Fi.

With respect to the Hammond store, I asked for an estimate and I found Twin Tire to be about average in overall cost when compared to other local mechanics. Parts were a bit more expensive but labor was slightly lower. I did not end up going with Twin Tire & Auto Care because of mistakes made in the estimate process that made me think they were trying to charge me an outrageous price for parts. The numbers would change when I called back so I lost confidence in them. However, in the end I think it was just an honest error in reading the estimate from the computer as the all the numbers I was given actually made sense when I read the printed estimate (example: they quoted me parts+labor as the price for a particular part, twice). Nice people, but they need to improve their customer service skills so that the numbers make sense to the customer.I might take me car there again, but I would ensure I looked at the printed estimate and not just what was said over the phone.

Great service! I had a nail in my tire on a recent trip from Mandeville to Baton Rouge. They were friendly and quick in getting me back on the road.

They did a great job with my tires and rotation and they were very nice and welcoming! Definitely would recommend!

My car overheated on the way home, so I stopped at the nearest mechanic which was Twin Tire. The next day they told me I had rust in my coolant, so it would be $1000 to clean out the system and possibly another $1500 to replace parts of the engine.I paid the $30 for the work they did and drove it to another mechanic who quickly diagnosed a bad radiator and replaced it for $500.Update: The owner and the mechanic called me after seeing my poor review. They explained that there must have been a miscommunication with the manager I talked to and that the prices they estimated were worst case scenarios. They also hinted that I should update my review and that my car might die in a few weeks even with my new radiator.

Went in to have spark Plugs changed, stunned when I returned to a bill of $550. No call to tell me of an estimate of repair. Told them if I would have been advised of the cost I would not have had the work done. Not the way to run a business.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. I took my truck in for a rotate and balance. They wanted to check my radiator. Then they said it needed to be fixed and would cost $3000. I said no thank you I never had a problem before. My wife and I picked the truck up and she drove it home. Then went to the store in it. She called and said it was smoking. I got out there popped the hood ..... There was the radiator cap sitting next to the battery. This place destroyed my truck and then would not fix it. I DO NOT recommend them.

Spent 500$ on front and rear brakes only to get cheap breaks and brakes squeak every time I hit them . Dont tell me the 2 times they called me to make sure I was there before 4 and before I paid that they couldnt resurface back rotors ... They just put in on my paper.

Customer service on the phone and in person, wasnt great at all. Brought my truck in for a alignment and was told it couldnt be aligned because a a bad A-arm. 2015 Tacoma... so j asked for more details as I was getting in my truck, nothing could be said because he was just going off of what the paper said. So the next day I emailed to find out more details yet again and to know how the A-arm was determinded bad, no response. This would be the ony service that I bring my truck in for, anything else, I handle myself. That being said, I just had both front tires off a week prior to do a break & rotor change and grease anywhere that would need it while doing a 120point inspection to everything. Brought the truck somewhere else for another opinion and requested to have a look myself before doing the work and everything is prefect now. Appreciate the false info fellas! Wont be seeing me again.

Do not go to these people! I went in to have a brake job and oil change. The quote was $175 for brakes, $79 for the oil change. Ended up being told my brake sensor was bad, rotors were worn, the car needed the front end lubed, and the oil changed. It went from a couple hours job to a two day fiasco. I finally got my car back, to the tune of $387.71, the brake sensor is still lit suggesting it was never changed, as I drove away a piece of my car flew off on the high way, they broke the passenger side arm console, and I have a new scratch and dent on the back rear bumper. Horrible experience and they will never get my business again!
