They didnt do anything really that I asked for today except let me look under the car myself when I asked afterwards. When I asked questions I felt like the mechanics I dealt with could barely understand English. So made me question if they really inspected the brakes & other stuff I asked them to look at as I stayed there waiting & it would have taken much longer than the short time my car was in the shop. Never got the oil change either & I wrote it all down on the paper when I got there. I didnt trust the quality of the inspection, if they even really did one. Wish car was up towards the front where I could of seen what was going on back there. Im gonna get a second & third opinion at other places just to be sure car is really safe to drive. I wasnt impressed!!! They didnt even charge me which made me suspicious for sure. It was a strange experience for me cause I knew I needed back brakes & an oil change among other things repaired. I dont get it at all. Hope Ill be safe until I can get many more inspections from various reputable outfits. I was referred here to Coopers Garage (used to be called APEX) by a stranger when my heat shield fell off that was under the gas tank a few days ago when I was on the road driving & he stopped to help me. He seemed to trust them but when they said I didnt need to have a new one put on under the gas tank, I couldnt believe it. It wouldnt have been installed in the first place if it wasnt for an important reason. They said it would he safe to drive without it--forever!!!!! Weird right?

Fast honest service. They were able to quickly troubleshoot my car, gave me a estimate for my repair before making the repair, had me back on the road the next day for 1/2 the price of the dealer. I highly recommend this business.

Its been several years since they worked on my exhaust and it still sounds fantastic. They are really busy all of the time, so just be prepared for that. I am going to bring my sons car in today to have them work on it. Kathy provides the best customer service, hands down.

I have been taking my truck here for the past four years. I recently called in to schedule an appointment to have them look at an electrical issue I was having. Once I explained what was happening the gentleman on the phone told me how I could fix the issue by replacing a $20 dollar part. Instead of having me bring it in and charging me the labor to fix the part he told me how I could do it myself over the phone for free. These guys know what they are doing, are honest, and have fair pricing. I recommend this shop to anyone who is looking for a good honest mechanic.

Worst place I have ever taken my vehicle too. Like no comparison to how bad this place is. Work was done wrong. Then they blamed the parts. Left the worst grease stains. Those will never come out. Lady who works the front was very rude to most everyone. Talking trash about customers who just left. I still have no idea what they were doing in my back seat?! If you use this shop, I wish you luck.

Its a typical repair shop they do do the workbut their prices arent great and they did struts on my car and forgot to order the stabilizing pins so of course the car made all kinds of noise when it went over a bump. they did end up ordering the stabilizing pins but they charged me $120 to put them in for a total cost of 1050. Would not recommend I was originally quoted $600 for the entire job

They did my brakes and fixed my camshaft they also changed my head light and helped my mom with her car while another place tried to get us for over $900 worth of work!! I totally recommend them to everyone!!! They also with my warranty company to get things fixed

This place USE to be awesome back when Kathy was working- Ive taken several business vehicles as well as personal there and she always had them done promptly!!!! I use to send all my friends and other drivers there as well and now when Im asked about where I take my vehicles I have no answer because I refuse to go back unless Kathy is working! The owner should maybe drive by his store because there are never any cars there and the lot is always empty now, goes to show you that good/honest hard working people are hard to come by and often say a lot about your business!!! I dont ever recall them having to put car dealership flags up to try and grab peoples attention to stop when Kathy was around.... just sayin

Sad! Very sad! Ive taken every car Ive owned for the past 14 years here. I loved it and trusted them until... Kathy ( the best car shop manager ever) left. Since Kathy is no longer there, they are charging more than they used to and they are being dishonest. I no longer feel like I can trust the owner and the shop. I will not be returning :(

I hit a bump and my car got really loud every time i hit the gas. I took it in to Apex and within minutes they had it up in the rack and showed me exactly what the problem was. They gave me a great price and i was out the door driving within an hour. Kathy, the lady in the front office is amazingly friendly and treats customers right. I would recommend them to everyone.

Deserves zero stars. Terrible service. No one should come here ever. Please I recommend anyone else but Apex. I love my truck and they didnt do anything to fix the problem mind you I just dropped $350 to go and take it to another place and they told me and showed me the real problem which will be another $800. They arent willing to show you the parts or problem...well I have all the old parts from my truck I had to replace and fix...so please dont trust them. To let me drive off with my truck this bad and to come apart in the highway then had to get it towed it is undrivable and go back to them 3 times yes that is terrible service. Dont trust them at all.

This was a good shop when ryan and Kathy was here they were honest and reasonable. But josh... hes a joke. He doesnt fix the things that they were paid to fix. Very disappointed in this place now. And the bathroom is so nasty.

This place is an absolute joke. Had my car towed here on a Monday night and received a call the following morning that they were going to look at it. Did not receive a call back for another 2 days and called them on Thursday to get a status. They say they were calling the wrong number. I took them at their word and authorized the ordering of the part I needed (an ignition switch).After calling the next few days for updates and being told the part was still yet to be delivered, I was finally called by the shop on Wednesday of the FOLLOWING week that the car would be done by Friday. It is now Friday (over ten full business days since the car was towed there) and I was just told that it would most likely be done tomorrow.Additionally, the shop has quoted me a price of $500 on what an internet search comes up as between $350 and $450 fix. With all of the options available in this area I HIGHLY recommend looking somewhere else.

My car had a warranty that has a deductible of 100$ that included engine and or trans problems, kick was it took 31 days after purchase to activate. My car broke down the 30th day two weeks before Christmas. They told me itd be a week to fix breaks and install a new trans, they gave me a run around every time I called for four weeks straight. I paid 334 for brakes including the 100 deductible. They gave me a dry rotted16 in spare with holes on it. I have 17in tires And then reinstalled the the spare with 5/6 lug nuts. The same tire came off today as I turned the corner coming home from work.

My favorite auto repair shop wont go anywhere else.

First time I used them excellent work I was very satisfied.

Ive been coming here for 12 yrs never again! Took my SUV in they checked it out and said I needed an ignition switch (300.00) because my obd couldnt be read. They said they checked the fuse and it wasnt blown. I went home and checked the fuses low and behold the fuse was blown. I got it diagnosed and had it repaired elsewhere. My husband went there 2 weeks later for a different problem and once again it was the ignition switch (700.00) this time. Wth 400 more? I was always treated with respect and honesty by Kathy and the rest of the staff. No longer a customer! Fyi word of mouth means alot! SAD!!!!

Took the truck so they can tell me what was wrong with it they charge me 350 told me that is good to go tjen i get stranded find out it has the ball joint and broken struts. Call them and he daod i didnt see it tje plave i took ot now show it to me is imposoble not to see that tjey ate terrible be carefull

Very bad. Doesnt even deserve the one star I gave it. My aunts truck was checked out and they neglected to show her the parts they used and the parts that were bad. I honestly think they didnt even try. Go literally anywhere else.

Do not go. From my personal experience, Geno is rude and they are over priced. If you do, It will be hit and miss with service. Also, buy your own parts and get fee + tax before services so you have no surprises.

I only let Kathy at Apex in Hammond, IN work on my babies (trucks,suvs, cars). They all most everything. Not just brakes and mufflers. I have been going there for over 10 years now. They are so nice and truthful there. They will let you know what you need and what can wait. Unlike other places that will tell you that you need somethung just to make more money off of you. Peaches (Ford Escape) is there right mow cuz my gauges were freaking out. Come to find out the Alt is bad. They could have feed me to death but that is not how they work there. That is why I trust them with all my babies.
