All work or found repairs are explained and options given without pressure. Even when they are swapped the pride of communicate and work has been unsurpassed in the 4 years i have used (found) them. I wanted to reach out and give this place the best review possible. I was driving from Memphis to Lake Charles, a mom with four kids 7 and younger by myself, when I started having issues with my tire pressure. I stopped multiple times to refill my tire but I just did not feel right. By chance I pulled off the exit of A-1 quick oil. Overwhelmed and anxious I pulled in and explained the situation. Two young men quickly assessed my tire and showed me that the belt was bulging in several places and would most certainly not make the rest of the trip. Unfortunately, as these things go the shop did not have my tires in stock. However, they called around and got tires from another shop. They were patient and kind with me and my little kids. They had us back on the road in no time and charged us an incredibly reasonable price. I am forever grateful for the blessing this shop was to our family. This trip could have been a lot different if it werent for the professionalism, kindness, efficiency, and all around decency. Thank you!

The shop is amazing. Janna sent me my inspection and once I opened it, informed me that she saw that I viewed. Great technology. The inspection showed me a lot of things that was wrong with my vehicle that I wasnt aware of. They had pictures as well so I never felt like I was misinformed. I took my son car for installation of air conditioner repair. I bought the parts myself. Well the freon was leaking. I understood they couldnt warranty the parts but i expected them to warranty their labor. The compressor wasnt holding freon seems to me like they should noticed that when they installed it being that they hooked it up to their machine.. then want to charge me just to look at it. How do i really know that it wasnt the mechanics failt thst he didnt hook up the lines. But i will.

I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I was on the fence about taking my truck here to begin with but I was pleasantly surprised to find a wonderful and helpful staff. Being a female people often think I dont understand things about my truck but they never made me feel that way, they showed me what was wrong and have me a more than fair price. Ive had my catalytic converter replaced, spark plugs, oil change, front and back breaks and pads, and tire rotation. I trust them to continue to work on my truck!!

Bad service .Change tirer and did not reset my tirer pressure gauge. When I called they acted like I needed to buy one because my did not have one, very rude . I google it and reset it myself. I am a woman. There are several men there and this became a nightmare. Do not recommend this place if you are a woman.

This place not only deserves 5 stars, it also deserves a loyal customer following. Anything less would be a disservice. My wife and I are traveling from Michigan and after my air conditioning quit product cold air I took my 2014 Silverado to A1 for service including an oil change. We were warmly greeted and provided an upfront cost estimate before starting the work. The general manager Bobby was very attentive and provided professional updates of the progress. He also pointed out that the incorrect oil was previously added during the last oil change and assured me that the correct oil would be used during todays visit. He also pointed out a lifter noise and rather than recommending to do the work at an additional cost he suggested that we have it addressed at a dealer to be repaired under warranty . He also advised that after adding 1# of freon to monitor the system and if we noticed further loss of cooling then he would repair the system and not charge for additional freon if needed.I would highly recommend A-1 for any service required while in the Hammond area.
