I had been to four auto body repair shops, all in Lansing & Calumet City, before going to Budd Autobody. All of the quotes I received from them were within $100-$250 dollars within the same range of each other. The quote from Budd Autobody however was about $600 cheaper! The work was excellent and on time. My car looks brand new. I hope I wont need anymore body work in the future but if I do, I will definitely bring it to Budd Autobody!

As long as this place is open and ran by the same person I will always come to this place. Hands down the best service I’ve gotten by any auto shop by far. They got me in while being very busy and got me out in a timely manner.

I usually don’t write reviews but I had to take the time to write one for Brian and Budd Autobody. The absolute BEST body shop in Hammond and I dare say in the whole state. Brian was always attentive to it all. He was on the phone with enterprise and managed to get me a rental. He went over all damage that was done to my vehicle literally the same day it arrived. He was on the phone with State Farm regarding additional damage to my vehicle that State Farm was not going to cover. He got State Farm to cover and pay for all the damage that was Caused because of the crash. This man was on top of everything. I mean EVERYTHING!. I have never had service like this. It was weird to be honest. Extremely glad I decided to bring my car over to Brian. Furthermore, once I got the initial call from Brian regarding my vehicle, I knew I was going to leave it in great hands. Sure enough he did not disappoint. My vehicle looked incredible!! This man went above and beyond and definitely went the extra mile in order to give the best service possible. I highly recommend BUDD Autobody to anyone who needs their vehicle fixed. This is the BEST place I have ever been to for auto work. It’s done right and Brian will go above and beyond! He is a very nice guy I am very impressed with the quality of service. He cares about his customers and if there’s something else wrong the car he will not only bring it up but he will go the distance to make sure he can get you a deal and get it fixed for you. They fixed my car a few years ago from hail damage and did a great job. I was just hit while driving down the street and Im taking my car to them they did a great job.

Waited at this place for 15 min without being greeted by who I think was the owner. I found it to be rude and ignorant and wouldn’t advise anyone to go here. He would rather talk politics than do business while at work. FYI this is politics.

Terrible customer service! I went to get the estimate and he told me to bring it in April 1 and asked what time Id be there I told him a little after 230 I go take it in and he tells me that state farm called and scolded him because of the time hes taking in the cars because they have to pay for the whole day of a rental car and asked if I could bring it in on Tuesday morning I said no because I work so he tells me to bring it in Tuesday after work and I said I cant because I dont have a ride so he blows me off and tells me to bring it back the following Monday I WILL NOT! I called state farm so I can be set up at another body shopPretty bad business if you have your customers make arrangements to drop off their car and because you are incompetent and dont understand the agreement you have in place with state farm me the customer has to be inconvenienced and the attitude you had when you were blowing me off was pretty disappointing you had no remorse what so ever no apology or anything pretty much just like your response to my initial review

My GMC Terrain sustained minor damage to the rear bumper when another vehicle rolled into it. I took it to Budd Motors based on recommendations from family. Brian walked me through the insurance claim process (something my own insurance company did not do). He explained the steps I should take, gave me an efficient estimate. Once things were settled with the insurance, I called Brian to set up the repairs. He quickly returned my call, and he was able to schedule me within one week’s time. I was without my car for only two and a half days, and it looks fantastic! Brian is very straight-forward, but he explains things so well. All of my questions were answered before I could even ask them. I will recommend anyone in need of auto body repair to give him a call.
