Fantastic customer service. This store is run top notch.I purchased a dozen rose bushes that had been discounted to sell and they all turned out absolutely gorgeous this fall.No sprays no special maintenance just a bag of bone meal added when they were planted in May.

Love shopping here! I can find stuff other stores dont have. They even have some old time candys that other stores dont normally have. I can get quality merchandise vs other stores. The store is nice and bright and very clean! A++++ to this store !

The Hamilton store is ran by a bunch of rock stars that know their products, even the newer younger staff. Great prices compared to competitors, so if you want to save a buck I would check here before going anywhere else. Nice basketball u breakable basketball hoop, and if there are any sportsmen reading this, they are stocked up pretty well on .556 rem, .308, 7.62, 357 mag, 38spl, 12 ga, even saw a few 350 legend and 7.62x54r.

The gentleman who worked there was extremely helpful and walked me to each item i needed and made sure I found the right product. Customer service like that is rare these days, I also got a 6 pack of paper towels for $2.00 and beef jerky that was really good like the stuff I got as a kid! Love this place.

Its rural king. The building needs some love. But it is what it says it is. My only complaint would be it takes to long in line. They only have one.. maybe two lanes open. Despite the lines.

Pretty funny to find. We like buying our dogs food here and he buys jeans and gloves for work here quite often. Friendly staff.

Our first visit to pick up some mens cargo shorts we saw advertised in a flier. Amazed at the variety of items for sale at very reasonable prices. The cargo shorts are very comfortable and I believe will stand up to some hard use, especially for the price. Looking forward to out next shopping experience there.

Was disappointed they never participated in tax free weekend. I found great clothes for grandson and that happened at register. But i bought his clothes anyway there. They should have put a sign up advertising they didnt.....

I prefer stores like Rural King, Home Depot. Give me that any day of the week!

LOVE this store! If ever there was a one-stop-shop ---- this is it. From bird feed to long johns. From Carhart to diabetic candy. And you name it --- they have it. Clean and well organized. If old time Gold Circle, K-Mart, and Tractor Supply had a baby they would have named it Rural King.

I like the store. And I like some of their products. My problem with this store...? You can never find a worker on the floor to help you...and if there is a worker then they are most likely checking people out. It seems like the store gas become a little messy or not kept up with or something. They have a sign up that says now hiring so Im assuming not enough workers to feed the demands.The garden center....i have been there and actually wanted to buy some flowers and get some dirt...but I couldnt lift the big bags of dirt or mulch and all the flowers had NO PRICES on them. So when I went inside to ask about the garden center and get some help I was told SORRY, there isnt anyone available to help me and she didnt have time right then either because she had a long line of people BY HERSELF to check out. I totally understood her frustration too. So I just went somewhere else.But I like their sales...but I will mist likely order and pick up from now on.

Love going here they got a lot of different stuff I get all my bird feed and out door critter food there Ive even pick up a heater for the basement there last couple of Winters past shoot every time Im go there I have to walk all over the store cause I never know what Im gonna fine even Though they sale and cater to a farmers with most of their products heck I even pick up a few pairs of jeans, boots, tee shirts,and a few ball caps.they have live animals or chicks, rabbits,ducks, which is cool to watch them all cheeping and doing their own thing that they do and besides that were else can you get a free bag of popcorn from a store at that I gotta a few plants for my garden there witch I have been injoying for a years now.ill definitely will have to make a trip out there soon .

This is definitely a great hardware store or or farm supply store. Ive found allot of great deals here. The only downfall is, they only have 2-4 registers open to check out. So you have to wait in line 20+ minutes.... this is why Amazon and other online businesses are dominating the retail industry. No line no wait..... the economy doesnt have time to waist standing in line anymore. Thats why nobody wants to go to any government office for anything.

Have a large selection of Carhartt clothing, gloves boots, tools, lawn and garden, animal care for every kind of farm animal.Feed, bedding, tack and other care items.They have an impressive gun sectionand Ive been told they have great prices on guns.When I was there this store looked like it was the day after Black Friday.Lots of gaps on the shelf, product not lined up or in the right spot.Good spot for unique gifts.

This particular RK seems to be a mess most of the times. The best one I have been to is the one in Winchester Ky. This one had a very small selection of bag chairs/folding chairs. Was in sporting area and small selection asked and was directed to seasonal and there were none.

I find unique stuff in this store. I like that dogs are welcome.

Horrible customer service and management. I drove over an hour away to buy a firearm and arrived an hour and 10 min before the store closed and was standing at the firearm counter at 5 till 8pm, the lady there ignored me and continued what she was doing and then after 10 minutes of this she just turns and looks at me and I asked to see a specific firearm which I had already spotted in the 10 min I was waiting. She told me they didnt have it and then I pointed to it and said its right there. She says oh...well we are closed. I said the store does not close for over an hour. Well the gun dept closes at 8pm... I said Ive been standing here for over 10 min and at least 5 till 8 and you ignored me and I drove an hour to get here. She said oh I wish you would have called first but there is nothing I can do... just order it online. (Which I would have to pick up in store anyway). We told her we would not be back. Walked around and called the store and asked for a manager....was on hold another 10 min before no answer and hanging up. We then walked up front and asked for the manager and he conviently walked up. We told him what happened and was told there was nothing he could do and he would talk to her about customer service.........WHAT?! If I were you and need any customer service Id avoid this store untill they can figure out that the customer is why they are there in the first place. I will drive to Maysville Rural King from now on where I have never had an issue or have been treated bad.

The Rural King in Hamilton! Ohio is the place to go for all your farm/rural related needs. I drive 16 mi to go to this particular store because theyre pricing is so competitive. While Im there I pick up pet food,chicken feed, groceries and clothing for everyone in my family. One of the best parts of this particular store is the Gun Barn. Everyone there at the Gun Barn is extremely professional and serious about their work. I have ordered three guns online and had them delivered for free to this store. Once the guns arrived, I went through my Feelingderally required background check right there at the store. Once I passed the background check, I walked out of the store with my new firearms. Rural King has a great website where you can order your stuff online have it delivered to your local store for your convenient pickup. I make a point of going there at least once a month just to check out their sales. You never know what you can pick up for a very low price! Do yourself a favor and visit the Hamilton!Ohio Rural King store. Youll be glad you did!

Ordered a grill online Tuesday night. Didn’t hear anything about my order. Called on Thursday and they told me they didn’t have anyone e that could help me there. Friday when I called the same thing. I ended up calling the online order number to see if they could help me get my order. They called me back later Friday and said it was ready to pick up. Saturday I went to pick the grill up. When I got there it was packed so I asked the customer service desk for my item. They checked but it wasn’t there in the front. They called a manager, after talking to him for a while and him not being able to find anyone to get the item, we went back to the grills to find my name on a grill in the back. It was on a shelf, I had to physically get it off the shelf and wheel it to the front. Upon getting to the front they were supposed to verify my order, after 15 mins of standing there I walked out. Worst online order I’ve ever had, I understand your low on staff but this was terrible. I will not be returning to this store.

This location is not mandating shoppers to wear any masks or face coverings. They do have a sign posted but it’s not enforced. Ended up leaving. There are many other establishments located next to this location where safety precautions are enforced and everyone is safe.

It was my first time there. The whole place had a fine layer of dust on a lot of things. Not in a dirty way but as if the customers brought it in on their boots. The place bustled with shoppers. A decent percentage sporting camo clothing. You could tell they were there as things around them would move into the carts.The store itself had an odd arrangement not typical to bigger name department stores. I couldnt find a hand plane but many other things I wouldnt find in other stores easily. They polite staff did try there best to be helpful where they could.Overall not a bad place to go.

Carts remain hard to find.Staff rarely answer the phone.They have cleaned up this store especially the restroom.Great prices. Great products. Food items very tasty and priced economically.Self-service sales help....staff-help on the floor remains woefully unadequate.Check-out lines, though staff is friendly, are too long.

Terrible customer service. Paid after 19 minutes in line. Had to be loaded at dock with forklift. Called 3 times, no would come to dock. After a hour and 25 minutes went back in and asked for money back. Rude, no customer service skills at all.

She explained it was in the store but would take them a few days to grab it for me. However, I can come in the store now and pick it up myself if I wanted ...... She kept pushing to cancel my online order, which I ended up doing. Never again

I have bought a wide variety of products from Rural King. Its actually the best place Ive found for anything Carhardt as far as price goes. I dont own a farm so I cant speak for that part of their stuff but considering the quality of the other things I have gotten from them Im sure you cant go wrong there either.

I have never been here but a friend want to buy 2 baby ducks. As an animal lover and advocate..I was very impressed with the way they kept up the animals. The pens were large not overcrowded. Lots of food and fresh water. Pens very clean and well maintained. So much variety They had everything. I bought candy and they had a great selection of that. My only complaint is the staff on the floor did not seem like they wanted to help me find a fan. The third person I found reluctantly helped me. I was social distancing and wore a mask..so not sure of the unfriendliness. Check out was fast and easy. Large parking lot. Overall very impressed.

If you check the Rural King website for items in stock a particular store location (Hamilton, OH in this case), it will give you a seemingly useful number of items in stock. I did so before driving 45 minutes to this location - seemed safe - website showed over 30 of the item in stock. After I arrived, I couldnt find it. I asked a store employee and they said oh, you cant go by whats on the website. We havent been able to stock that for well over a month. OK, then what is the point of their website showing an inventory at all?

Rural King has everything. Everything you need to run a homestead whether its City living or country living. They have baby ducks they have baby chicks they have guns. Oh and lets not forget the free popcorn(extra dry, you will need a drink).

I love rural king. This one in particular, due to their wide selection of Lumberjack pellets.

Will keep shopping there, the staff are very helpful and thoughtful.

I love rural king... But next time Ill just go ahead and drive twice the distance to go to a different one. They hardly had anything... everything was picked through, and the staff was.... well lets just say the individual the helped us with the fitting room wanted to act like we were criminals and then when we were done with the room and told her so.. she preceeded to follow us back to the isle to make sure we put the pants back in the right spot. I guess she owned the store or something..

They have competitive prices had what I needed and extra I purchased a xxl dog kennel for 20$ less than other stores even on line.

Had everything we needed plus more. Almost everything is cheaper than most places. My husband bought some chickens a couple roosters and a duck about 3 months ago and they are all doing good. I highly recommend this business.

Store says its for farm equipment but while it has that it also has a grocer section and lawn decor kind of like a country Walmart but smaller also FREE POPCORN *yes still serving during the pandemic*

Great service and mostly friendly staff. Guy in the gun barn was a kind of a a hole but everyone elses including customer service was great.

Heavyset female worker, with her hair braided, hid ammunition under register. She sold her co worker 4 boxes of each caliber. Customers are limited 2 boxes. This occurred around 6:45 pm, on January 22, 2021. We will no longer shop here.

Love selection and prices that Rural King has! Weve bought tools, batteries and food and toys for dogs. Its really nice that they dont mind you bringing in your dog while your shopping. I brought my new puppy out shopping today and he got new toy today!

This place was busy! Long lines at both registers, it looked like everything was in disarray, shelves were empty and they didnt have what I went in for. hopefully they will get the help they need.

We come for the sales and the awesome deals on car batteries, boots and pet supplies. We miss the popcorn! Even our dog buddie searches the floor as we walk thru the store.
