I really liked this place. me and my friend went to get something sweet. we got the gelato and she tried a macaroon. very good. decor was amazing. i do suggest them playing some music. they weren’t busy at all and it was very quiet. kinda awkward.

This place is absolutely amazing. Delicious flavors of gelato, amazing cannoli, coffee smells delicious, although I havent tried that yet. Cant wait to try that, the hot chocolate, and tiramisu. They have salads and sandwiches as well but the gelato is everything!!! An absolutely amazing, adorable place for a date.

The Best Gelato in the Mid-Atlantic area...on the East Coast!Youd be crazy to not come try it. Ive had a lot of ice cream and frozen desserts in my life...and this is just about the best Ive had! You will not be disappointed! If I could give it more stars, I would! 👍

Went here once, gelato was great. Came today, june 20, 2020 at 640 pm (closing time says 7pm) and find a sign on the door that they are closed and to call herb smith. Wouldve been nice to know before driving 1 hr 30 mins from home for nothing!!!!

Delicious gelato, and an extremely helpful staff. They also have an amazing sandwich and salad menu, very reasonably priced for the giant delicious sandwiches they are!! Would recommend to everyone! Ive gone here probably 3 or 4 times and every time has been amazing

Although the variety isnt huge, the flavor was amazing! The lady (whos Italian) was so nice to us also so that was nice. I got the toffee and sweet cream flavors.

Excellent gelato and espresso based drinks. Everything is made fresh from scratch. They also have homemade sandwiches, salads and soups. If you want a true impression of Italy then you must give them a try.

You can drink one of the best cup of Italian coffee and you can test delicious Italian dessert, genuine sandwiches, salad soup and more depend the season.It’s the best place in Hagerstown.

Came here this morning and the gelato is amazing! Fair prices and a nice menu that is well designed and easy to read. They also have some Italian desserts, salads, sandwiches, and coffee drinks. The customer service was *excellent;* they went above and beyond by customizing a pastry for me. The inside sparkles and is meticulously clean. There are a few tables and chairs outside as well. This place is a gem and Im glad I found it!***Unable to suggest edit but Google hours are not correct. Hours as of July 2017: Sunday 1p-8p; Monday 12p-9p; Tuesday-Thursday 10a-9p; Friday 10a-10p; Saturday 12p-10p.

The sandwich had a different twist with the spread they use, but was very good.

Snickers Gelato is amazing! They give you a chance to taste-test and they have a flavor of the month contest where if you guess the flavor, you get a free small gelato! Will definitely be back.

The ladies who run this wonderful establishment are so lovely. The first time I tried the wonderful gelato I came back three more days in a row (oops). I’d like to think that this isn’t far off at all from what I experienced across seas in Italy and France, and I had a lot of gelato there. I recommend this to anyone and everyone. It’s worth what you pay for and they allow you to taste it before to see if you like it. What’s not to love?

Gelato Bliss is a clean, modern contemporary style shop. The atmosphere is inviting and fun. The gelato itself is exactly what youd what to find in gelato. Creamy, full flavored and served in generous portions. Perfect for the family.

We went for the 1st time on a Thursday around 7pm. They were almost out of every gelato and did not put out more. 😕 I did try the cannolli and they were excellent. A bit pricey though.

Rich, creamy and smooth

I have had gelato in Italy, and Spain, in Dubai, and from almost every freezer section and restaurant in America. This is the first place I have ever had it in America that brings me back to the beautiful view of the canals in Venice Italy. This is worth going out of your way to try, and if youve ever had gelato before for my freezer section or another restaurant, I promise it will not be as good as it is here. Do not let poor quality from a previous experience prevent you from trying what is the most amazing gelato I have ever had in America and equal to what I had in Italy.

Id rate the gelato mediocre at best. Maybe compared to gelato only in Hagerstown, Id rate it higher BUT my family seeks out gelato anywhere we travel. Weve had it in NOVA, CA, Midwest and east coast so we are somewhat spoiled. With that said, we tried multiple flavors before selecting. The chocolate tastes like it was cooked too long? Some of the other flavors were overpowering rich or sweet. This is a very different experience than weve had with many other highly rated gelato places.Our first impression walking in was that we were walking into a soap factory. The overriding smell of soapy smelling cleaning chemicals was unexpected. They did not serve hot chocolate in early April saying it was a seasonal item. Although the place was not very busy, the staff rushed as though they were. Although attentive,were very serious minded lacking smiles throughout the experience including with other customers. Seating was ample and the placed seemed decorated appropriately for a gelato place.I really wanted to rate this higher because we need more gelato places. I really hope they improve their sourcing and preparation methods, smile more and improve the initial smell.

The best and unique Italian gelato that you can find in town! Hagerstown is so lucky to have a real Italian gelato store just right there...I went to this place few months ago for the first time and tried their gelato... delicious and real authentic!! You need to try it to believe it! Will highly recommend... Great job!!

Did a Google search for the closest gelato shop near South Central Pennsylvania and found Gelato Bliss just over the Maryland border in Hagerstown. Loaded up the fam and drove 40 mins to give them a try. Was pleasantly surprised to see a new, shiny La Marzocco espresso machine behind the counter. We tried 3 flavors of Gelato, dairy-free strawberry, coffee and princess. All three were amazing, especially the coffee flavored. We decided to try a shot of espresso, which requires a certain level of understanding of the beans, the machine and technique to pull a shot that can stand alone as a delicious beverage. They certainly know what they are doing, the espresso shot was balanced and full of flavor. Its hard to find authentic gelato. Its hard to find espresso executed well. Gelato Bliss nailed both! We will certainly be back.
