Quick in and out. Well stocked location, no lines and the staff was exceptionally friendly which made for a pleasurable experience.

Went in for a hair cut and style.. just b4 they closed. But a girl named Cat took me and did a great job. Washed, cut off about 5 inches and styled and informed me ahead of time that she would not have time to dry which was fine with me because I usually let my hair dry on its own anyways. Love it!I guess its my age.. but I expected it to be cheaper. At 67 you expect a senior discount or even so I just thought a Walmart hair cut would be cheaper than $23.00. But it was a great job and she was nice enough to take me so close to closing time.. so, no complaints really.

Attempted to call the market manager of the store today. I was transferred to customer service by a very attentive and extremely nice employee who works in the fitting rooms - apparently they have switchboard duties in addition to everything else they have to do. No one in customer service answered, although I was assured the area was staffed. She transferred me again - and again, the call bounced back - unanswered.I was driving in my car (hands free) so I decided to see how long it would take for someone to pick up. In the end, NO ONE DID. The call kept bouncing back for a total of 20 MINUTES, with no one answering the phone! The wonderful attendant in the fitting area would confirm this story - as would the log book on my cell phone.Im sure the employees were doing the best they could - they were simply overwhelmed.This store is grossly understaffed - and the the fact that this level of service was being offered out of the district managers store is shameful. Low pay, bad staffing, and overworked employees all add up to a bad shopping experience for the consumer. The nations largest retailer should do better by its customers and the associates who work for them. SHAME ON WAL-MART!

Great experience and still continue to shop for my everyday needs. Returns was great especially if needed a higher level approval from management. Great management with excellent communication skills and knowledge of satisfaction for the customer.... Thanks Walmart 😉🤗

I ordered cupcakes for my daughters birthday and they turned out amazing! She LOVED them and everyone was completely impressed that they came from the Walmart bakery. They looked just like the picture in the book and tasted wonderful too! Thanks Walmart!

It is sad to see a limited selection of certain items. However I know it is not the fault of Walmart.

They have the rudest employee shoppers there. They park their carts in the middle of the aisle so you cant get by. The employees also stand there in the middle of the aisles with their carts and talk to each other. So once again, you cant get by. Then they look at you, and keep on talking. You have to say, excuse me just to get by. I shouldnt have to excuse myself, just to get by. I wish they would stop the employee shoppers.

It has a nice selection of things.

This Walmart is one of the busiest in the United States. It is constantly crowded and only ever has 3 real cashiers at the checkouts. You have to wait close to 40 minutes to checkout unless you want to self checkout. If you do do self checkout be aware that not all self checkouts take cash so you may end up using your credit card for a $2 purchase. Walmart wants our business but does not value our time. I am no longer going to waste my time here unless they start hiring some cashiers. My time is valuable so ask yourself if yours is valuable too.

Didnt have the dresser I wanted.Walmart staff told me to order online at Walmart.com. I received my order just 2 days later. Awesome service!! 😊👍🏼

Many of the registers had been replaced with self check-out since my last visit. Was trying to checkout at 9:30pmish...only two self-scans open and busy! Whats the point of having a dozen+ of these units if people cant use them? Waited a long time and then found out that particular lane was card only Gimme a break. No sign, prior? Only one human register in service.All the closed self checkouts (red lights) pictured.

I really should give it 5 stars because global supply is an issue right now. But they normally have what Im looking for when I am out here from Ellicott City. We shall see tonight. They may be in for the upgrade. Absolutely recommended.

Very nice clean and very helpful staff, I asked a question for location of item and the young man said I will take you to it ..I was both shocked and impressed.... no one does that anymore...just mutter, point, and grunt.... lol

I like this walmart however like the Sharpsburg pike one better.Although staff is friendly people that shop here arent so nice.And the isle are kinda outta order with people putting the wrong thing in the wrong spot or being rude and putting frozen food on shelves that have crafts on it.No wonder prices are on a rise. Stealing at this store occurs alot as well.Other than that I had to order my sister cake and the lady who helped me was super sweet.

If I am going to check myself out I should get a discount. Only one registere that takes cash and couldnt find it. Will be doing my shopping for groceries at Martin they have cashiers

Absolutely ridiculous to be testing your fire alarm in the middle of the day, never mind 10 times in around 15 minutes. While giving a warning over the announcements that it is a test, that doesnt help the actual alarm going off and making my 1 yr old cry, once again TEN TIMES IN FIFTEEN MINUTES.We also had to wait those fifteen minutes to pick up photos because no matter how many times I hit the assistance button no one came. It was another shopper who went searching for someone to come help us, as other staff members walked by to go on their breaks but didnt even look over to see if we needed help. When someone did come over to help us, they mentioned oh, actually we have been told we are currently overstaffed! Overstaffed?!?! Thats a joke. The store was a mess, half the shelves in the toddler clothes looked like they had been picked up and everything thrown back in them.I dont normally shop at Walmart and this trip reminded me exactly why. The only reason I was there was to pick up photos and I wont be ordering from here again.

Probably some dumb state law. But not having beer at a Walmart is pretty pathetic. Also, when doing loss prevention, do it right and dont harass honest people while being oblivious to thieves. What a dump.

I live in Cumberland md and I cant get my Sauve color protection shampoo & my conditioner. This store doesnt have it either. It seems like everytime I get a product that works for me I cant get it. Its very frustrating.

This place is EXTRA Big. Letters and numbers for each isle. The numbered isle do not go in order, but close.The good part was I did get to see some odd, peculiar people that petty much paralleled the pictures on FB.

Once again had to check myself out. Only one register open and it was for 20 items or less. I had a cart full. So I went to the self checkout area. Once I was finally done the credit card machine would not take my card. Tried numerous times. A worker came to help with no luck. She tried numerous times also. Tried another card and it didnt work either. Tried that one numerous times. Finally had to go to the sevice desk with a receipt the employee gave me. Card worked fine there. Its rediculus that we have to check our self out. If I wanted to run register I would not have retired. Was really disgusted with the store.

There is a lady at works in the auto area that she give the worst customer service, she should never be at the register. 2thing I brought 4 tire one was installed backwards. I went to Allentown location cause I feel ther was something wrong with my tires and they wer the one that find out. Never again Walmart

This walmart is always very busy, but I was able to get what I needed. I wish they would open up more registers for checking out though. It took longer to check out than it did to find what I needed.

They desperately need to open a couple more cash registers. That was also an issue in the past, so it cant be blamed on the current state of affairs.

Yep, I shop at Walmart. I do 97% of my grocery shopping here, including household products and most garden supplies. I only occasionally buy clothing here; I go online for higher quality items which WM does not carry.I didn’t care for the automated checkout initially, but I now use it when I only have a few items.

I called and the nicest lady, Grace, kept trying to transfer me to the garden section but no one would pick up. Grace finally just looked up what I was calling about herself. Thank you, Grace!

This Walmart is smaller than what I am used to. It is not bad or anything. Im just used to a larger selection. The thing that really disappointed me was the fact that the shelves were empty and I couldnt get what I needed on 5 of my recent trips (I just relocated here and keep discovering I need new items for my new home.. imagine my dismay of realizing that I can not depend on Walmart to have what I need). The clothing section for women is lacking and just looks bad. Since it is the closest to me, I will continue to go obviously. I just wish it was stocked and had variety.Also... why are the makeup products blocked off? Ive never seen that anywhere else and am curious.

This is one of the worst Wal Marts Ive been too. The grocery section is under stocked and often shelves are bare. Its the closest to my house but its not convenient when they dont have what I need and then I have to drive to the other one or go to a grocery store. When I go to a Wal Mart its to save time and get everything in one place. Here that doesnt happen so I wont be going back.

Visiting Hagerstown from out of state. Needed a prescription filled. The lady working the drop off counter was not customer friendly and appeared poorly trained. If I had been getting a controlled pain medication prescription filled I would have been extremely concerned. Choose to take my business elsewhere. Would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone not familiar with the medication they are taking.

Always seems understocked these days and theres always screaming kids with a parent that thinks its ok. I only gave it a 3 because the staff has always been helpful and deliver on customer service

I found this store to be an all around great shopping experience. I am a simple needs man. Things are easy to find, and there are enough workers around to help you. The only reason I didnt give this location 5 stars, is I encourage improvement. After all nothing is perfect.

Always a problem getting any customer service at Walmart. Every time I get disappointed I say no more Walmart, then a year or two later, I try again. When will I learn my lesson.

Walmart has everything. Thats the only reason they have such a high score but the employees need an attitude check. I dont know why most of them are so hateful. I know a lot of them personally and theyre very pleasant but for the most part I dont know how some of them still have a job. And the ones in the cigarette Ill need to stop denying cigarettes 2 people who show them Federal IDs. Sorry youve never traveled out of state and dont know what a passport is dummy.

What ever happened to paying attention to customers. Some associates do that. Must dont. Some even try to make up for what others dont do what they should. We all should understand that sometimes there are rude customers and some that think they are so much better than you. But please try to make Walmart a place that people can enjoy shopping.

For a big box, corporate store, they are great. They have a good selection of items in store from clothing to yogurt and beyond. What you cant find in store you can find online. Their online service is exceptional and easier for me than Amazon.

Where are the employees????? Walmart needs to stop firing them. I absolutely refuse to check out my own belonging in my cart. My last visit to Walmart in Hagerstown was very disappointing. Shelves were empty in some areas. You could tell its been awhile since they were looked at. Harder to find food items that use to getting there. I guess I need to go to get my groceries somewhere more expensive even though I cant afford to. I will be spending more money for less items. Is this fair....NO!!!

Better quality then most Walmarts. But some of the shelves were bare. This time around.

The meat department is excellent. Store is very clean. The cat 🐈food has there own isle of food.

Whenever I got there always ALWAYS a lot of people wanting checked out and not wanting to use self check out - most was elderly but there was some disabled ones as well and even though we kept asking for more registers to open as they had 10 employees just talking along the wall nobody would open up a register - its a shame i see 5 people just leave their carts and said they will shop elsewhere

Visit here regularly especially when I cant find things in the local grocery store.

Disorganized due to pandemic, but overall a decent place. Early morning shopping is the best option

Victoria checked us out today. She was so friendly and efficient. We got groceries, everything we needed.

Me and my boyfriend were looking at rings and waited about a half an hour for someone to come over to help us. We even had someone totally Ignore my bf when he tried too ask for help. Do better Walmart.

This is a big Waltmart store.. most of the racks are empty and new stock/ inventories need to be replenished right away. Dissapointing !

WHERE ARE THE BANANAS AND STRAWBERRIES?????We go here because they use to have most of what you need. Not amy more. It is faster to order from on line. They have the selection and good prices...plus it gets delivered to your front door.

Their shelves stay empty!! Whole departments decimated. I still adore the people tho and it until it just becomes too much of a hassle Ill keep going there. Been there from before it opened (in its old place) and Ill prolly be there until they shut the place down. What can I say? I love mpeople there! ❤❤

I did a major shopping order....like 3 cart loads of things. Ariella the cashier was friendly, patient & competent when checking me out. The one woman in customer service helped me push all of my carts out to the parking lot (I was waiting on a cab). Overall it was a good visit.

Dont get me wrong Walmart has a great selection & ok prices however I go in happy come out mad, the workers never know where anything is or how much it is or if it is in stock. The lines be a little extreme and slow whether it is self checkout or a sales associate ringing you up. It is always crowded. Im sure because of the abundance of things & prices.

This store does not close at 11pm as advertised.I got to the store at 10:50pm on a Thursday night and as I was speed walking into the building at exactly 10:50 I was actually screamed at by 2 employees that the store was closed. My mom’s birthday is tomorrow and I needed to grab 2 bows from the card/party section to complete her surprise to make her early morning/day special. I was unable to do so. Quite frustrating as I know I could have been in and out of the store in less than 8 minutes. Very poor store standards and customer service. I’m not even sure how the company allows them to not let people in at 10:50. Too bad it’s the only store open in Hagerstown and I chose it over other local grocery/drug stores that would have let me in at that time. I expected better and was counting on Walmart to actually be there when I needed it.What were the hours here prior to COVID?

Stopped going to this Walmart but thought Id give it another chance but just not as nice as it use to be, could use better cleaning, alot of grocery items were out of stock once again which seems to be the norm!

Having the need to quarantine I decided to order my groceries at Walmart on line and then pick them up. How wonderful the whole thing turned out. It was easy to set up the account and to download the app. The whole Order was almost exactly right and the few substitute items were products that I would have picked myself. Great job. The courteous young people that packed my order into my car’s trunk also helped me with learning about the Walmart app. Couldn’t have been easier! Thanks everyone.

I can almost always find what Im looking for. I prefer self checkout however they usually have plenty of checkout lines. Theres almost always something on sale whether you want clothes.... Food or home goods. I highly recommend a visit.

Always a good experience, just hate the fact they waste so....many bags for just one or two items in them!! Some of the associates could take more care in loading your groceries.

Health and beauty lady was very helpful. Only down side was the number of cashiers. All in all good.

The Walmart across from the Motor Vehicle Administration is clean and every shelf is filled unlike the other one next to Home depot.

Awful at Garland Groh at 6pm 2 cashiers working people lined up. Cashier was so slow and didnt care! Never again! Ill pay more somewhere else just to get in and out more quickly!!

Friendly people but seem overwhelmed. They should hire twice as many people. Long long lines. Should also increase pay to get people motivated and happy.
