I recently bought a Volvo S60 from Younger in Hagerstown. As part of their buying process, they connect you with their in-house insurance agent, Amanda Fuller, who offers to provide you with a quote on insurance. I was skeptical at first but I figured what could it hurt. Amanda prepared a quote on both of my cars and my house as well. She was able to get me a policy thought Travelers Insurance that saved me $2,000.00 per year combined on all of my policies over Liberty Mutual! Amanda was friendly and very easy to deal with. She was not pushy at all and we did all of the paperwork electronically a few days after I left the dealership so I could take some time to think about it. If you buy a car from Younger, definitely consider buying from Keane Chamberlain and asking Amanda for an insurance quote!

We bought our xc60 here due to the great experiences Ive had with Chad and rest of the Service Dept staff.After arriving to possibly trade our xc40 in for the larger xc60, We were greated by Keane Chamberlain. To make this story short, Keane & Heather (Sales Manager), were fantastic. Very professional, Honest and respectful. No pushy sales tactics. Gave us a better deal than we expected. No haggling. Earlier this month, we got a flat tire while driving from the D.C. area to Indianapolis and had our car towed to Younger Volvo. The tire we needed wasnt in stock, but we had to get to Indianapolis by the end of the day. The Service Manager, Adam Himmelwright, went out of his way to help us get back on the road as soon as possible. Adam called around town to try to track down the tire, and then managed to line up a rental minivan several hours before we would have been able to get one ourselves. The Service Advisor, Chad Shaffer, kept in touch about the replacement tire and had our Volvo repaired, washed, and ready to go when I came back to pick it up--all for a very reasonable price. We were beyond satisfied with the outstanding customer service that Adam and Chad provided.

From day one Ashley Paxton was hands down the best car rep I have ever dealt with. She kept in contact and provided everything to me for over a week. She was patient and helpful. The team at Younger Motor Cars were exceptional. My circumstances were a bit different than most as my brand new 2019 XC60 was totaled after my family and I were plowed by a buck on Saturday night. The Volvo lives up to its safety ratings and kept us safe and we all walked away. That also meant I needed a new car and was given 7 days to buy one. My husband found the model I was looking for online and requested more info. We were promptly contacted by their sales reps and set up a time to look at the car. I decided to call to see if I could come earlier and Heather was very accommodating. When I arrived they had the car waiting for me and I was able to test drive it immediately. When we got back, I decided that was the car for me and they made it happen quickly. They are the friendliest, most competent group of sales professionals I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I will absolutely work with them in the future for all of my car sales needs! While I am a resident of Frederick, I had a less than satisfactory experience with Volvo in my home town.Heather put me in touch with John once I described to her what Im looking for in a salesperson. And she was there every step of the way. She knew her stuff and has excellent people skills.John was excellent as well, very good communication skills. Kept in contact with us throughout the process (had to order). Again, he was knowledgeable and if he didnt know he asked. Was not pushy, gave my wife and I plenty of room to think, talk, and decide. If I ever was in a position to buy another Younger Volvo, John would be my choice.Lastly, we settled on a very competitive price. I know because I did my homework. Simply put - A wonderful car buying experience. After experiencing perhaps the worst customer service at a car dealership in Frederick, we stumbled upon Younger Volvo Cars in Hagerstown. So glad we did! The entire team worked seamlessly to provide us with a personalized car buying experience that put the customer at the center without the oft dreaded haggling, up-selling, and hurry up and wait that seems to define car buying. Heather Henskell and Keane Chamberlain greeted us promptly on our first visit, showed us what we wanted to see (and didnt push what we didnt want to see) and based on our conversation found the car we wanted, but had to wait for it to come in. When we returned to pick it up, most of the time was spent with Keane personalizing the car to us. When we finished, Heather and Cheryl Taylor were ready with the paperwork. Again, it was streamlined and personalized without heavy sales pitches or up-selling. All three of these superstars worked together to take care of every detail to ensure we were taken care of and we were in and out in no time. This defines what buying a car should be - personalized and pleasant. Not high pressure and adversarial. Great Service!!! I was driving my S60 while I got a message on the dashboard. I happened to be near the dealer and pulled in. Ed took great care of us in the fastest time possible and got us on the road in minutes. Thank you so much Ed for your service and to the Volvo team that made our experience one to remember.
Dealership had mailed me a $50 off oil change offer. I called and specifically asked the dealership if this offer applies only to Volvos, as I currently do not own a Volvo. I let the service advisor know what vehicle I owned and he checked with his manager and told me that the offer would be valid for my vehicle. We then set up an appointment for the oil change. When I arrived for my appointment, the dealership decided to change their mind and not honor their own offer. I ended up driving 70 miles and losing 1 1/2hrs of my time for nothing.The next day, I called the general manager and explained what happened. He told me that he will look into it and call me back the same day. I have yet to hear from him a month and a half later, even after leaving him a few more messages. I would avoid this dealership as it does care about customer service and does stand behind their own offers.There are many other dealerships that take care of their customers and this is not one of them. If you can’t trust them with a oil change, how can anyone trust them with a major purchase such as a vehicle.
