((Shipping products with dry ice)) I am not bashing the company or its employee as a whole. Just simply sharing a isolated incident involving shipping anything with Dry ice. I didnt look for any online information about shipping with dry ice, I was hoping they could inform me when I arrived. I was informed that the styrofoam cooler lid could not be shipped and only 5lbs of dry ice. Ok understood and I complied. The pictures below show how I shipped from the office and how it arrive in Miami. After getting the pictures, I went back to the store on Oct 15, 2021to advise management of the horrible arrival at the end destination. I understand that they do not insure food products but it should not negate how they take care of any package that they send. I want to show how this office had no consideration for my package. When it arrived it did not have a block of ice on top of it everything was melted and the package look the mess. I would like to urge everyone to check with UPS for the proper instructions before you buy any products that involve dry ice, styrofoam coolers, or food to ship. The manager for that day obviously showed me that she didnt care about how my package had arrived. Please forgive me if I was inconsiderate but at the same time please consider my report as real. Went to store for the first time today. Great customer service, I didnt box my items and they offered too box and ship it for me. Love it.
I am not sure why many people have rated this store poorly. Most of my online purchases are shipped from here, and they do a phenomenal job. Their customer service is sufficient, your time waiting is low, and the price is set by UPS, not this particular location. They do their job, and they do it well.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS UPS STORE! This is the best place to go if you ever need to ship a package. Idk why it has such a low rating. The store is very efficient and so are the workers. During this hard time they have been so helpful and efficient. Thank you ups for all your hard work! Georgia was also very wonderful to work with!
Dan Smith should lock himself in his basement if hes horrified because no one is disinfecting everything before he touches it. He should wear ten masks and distance himself by six miles from normal people who arent horrified and terrified about COVID. I dont wear masks, Im almost 60 and Im not afraid. Dan, dont forget your binkie. The service I received at this UPS Store location was fantastic. The young lady who assisted me was friendly, professional, highly efficient and patient with me even though I had several transactions I needed her help with. She packaged and processed my return of an item to Amazon, she made copies and completed a multi page fax that she had to print from multiple emails I forwarded to her.... And all with a smile.
An experience like no other here, not in a good way. When I arrived an employee (I learned later was named Georgia and is the manager) was yelling at two men in the parking lot. I entered to ship my package which needed a high declared value and Georgia transitioned her attitude from outside to me. Her actions indicated she did not want to assume care of my package. We discussed contents and how the item was packed. She became combative as we talked and asked to see the contents. I asked for a box opener and she refused and began raising her voice and asked me to leave-all while 2 other customers were inside and another employee. I held steadfast asking her kindly to please ship my package and she said she would call the cops on me if I didnt leave. I will NEVER visit this location again. I have attempted to contact the owner and I believe my messages are being intercepted. Other feedback here indicates this is not an outlier incident as Georgia is mentioned in several comments here. Business owner, wake up! See this for what it is-you have competition now here in town and if your customer experience is like this, you will feel it. Stay away from this store. Horrible!
I am over 50 & disabled. It took two trips in the store just to get my package in the store. A very helpful young man offered to help me get my item in my box. We were almost done when a young woman named Georgia started fussing at him in front of me, other workers & other customers. She asked him why he was helping me. I explained that I was disabled. She told me that it wasnt allowed and actually said to me he needs to know not to do this again. Evidently Georgia doesnt know about HR policies. You dont discipline a worker in front of other workers or customers. Ill make a point to go fedex from here on out.
Pretty bad service, I went to the store and the girl wouldnt print a label for me, when it was already prepaid from the Shipper. she asked me to come back with a printed label with barcode, that she can scan! Hello, you are in shipping business and you cannot even print a pre-paid label ! Give me a break, I was very unhappy with the staff, I wish they would improve their customer service or train their staff on how shipping business works.
I should of read the reviews before walking into that store. It is an insult to UPS. I guess wearing masks is optional at the store. Im gonna use another shipper. I went into the FedEx store on 10th St & they were happy for my business.
I can see why this store has such bad ratings. I did see that the employees all had on masks, not ask the customers. Theres was a line of about 9 people. No 6 ft apart. I was horrified that I had to use the computer there to print a label. I didnt see anyone cleaning the keyboard. There wasnt sanitizer at the computer. I couldnt wait to get out of there & sanitize my hands. I dont think visible tattoos are professional but this store isnt professional either. Owner dont bother responding to my review. Ive seen the other responses youve posted & think you dont take customers seriously. You definitely dont take Covid seriously.
Im reading several reviews how a customer was treated in the UPS store. Ive seen a response by one the UPS store. They say the reviews are wrong. Well if they are, why are there several reviews of this incident? Why is the store ranking so low? I work next door & Ive dealt with Georgia myself. Shes not use friendly
Very Satisfied! I went 12/21/19 afternoon. The store was packed with customers. I was very impressed how the 2 employees moved the crowd. They both worked well under pressure. They both were professional, efficient went above & beyond to help. Thats the kind of business you dont mind waiting in line for when you have mannerly intelligent employees waiting on you like those 2 it was a young lady & young man. AWESOME!!!!
I have a great experience each time I go. Very friendly and patient staff. Although shipping can be pricey, I don’t mind paying extra because the customer service is excellent.
I brought an Amazon return package to the store in the original packaging, and they made me buy a $2 envelope to place the package in. There was no apparent reason that I needed to spend money to return something for free. The employee that helped me wasn’t even wearing his mask prior to walking up to the counter. Overall, it seemed like the employees were bothered when customers even came into the business.
The staff is friendly and courteous. However, not a single one was wearing a mask, which is wholly irresponsible with COVID-19. I will not be returning.
I saw a lady leaving there yesterday crying. I held the door for her, she said some employee fussed at her.
UPS has been around for years! I wouldnt dare give this franchise, anything less.Any business that never had a customer complaint, something is definitely wrong somewhere! The staff here do not have to beg customers for a review and they definitely are not going out of business! So, keep your head up workers and do the best that you can! God Bless this franchise! The young lady with black hair and tattoos is always super sweet and helpful! Every-time I go in there she is always smiling and just all around nice. Good job in the hiring department!

The young lady who is the notary there, sorry, I can’t remember her name, was beyond helpful! I can’t say enough about how patient, knowledgeable, and professional she was. She definitely made my task easier. She needs a raise. By the way, I’m not a Greenville resident! 😊

The notary here helped me through a very urgent personal business matter allowing me to meet a deadline and get documents overnight shipped to their destination. She was friendly, calm, and knowledgeable. Special kudos to Georgia & thanks so much. Only had one issue not related to attendants: it was quite warm in the building on a hot day!

Nice folks and dependable service, but more add on charges than Porsche. Avoid letting them ship anything via US Postal Service as it cost at least 1/3 more than just taking it to the post office.
I don’t usually leave negative reviews but they were Rude and condescending. They want to charge $3.25 to print out their own shipping label.

I had called asking for the number for HR as I am starting as a seasonal driver helper and didnt have a way to contact the office. A woman named Georgia answered and treated me as though I was the stupidest kid on earth yelling at me over the phone and not explaining fully that this is a separate company. She did not explain this until the very end, i was calm the whole time only asking why I couldnt get the number for HR who i need to contact. After her yelling at me she screamed through the phone that they are a separate company in a tone that implies I am supposed to know this kind of information. I thanked her for her time and did not return the kind of sheer disrespect she had showed me. Georgia is her name, idk what she looks like but i will make damn sure she does not have a job by then end of the day today. Thank you Georgia for your terrible customer service and your lack of respect for the people who pay your bills.
This place advertises notarization and confirms over the phone they offer the service but when you show up in person, they will not stamp the form with your signature, only a form acknowledging you signed a paper on that day. That is not a legally binding document nor a notarization but $5 for nothing. The worst part is they defend this backwards policy. Useless is understatement.

I called to inquire about a package, only to find out the number I was given was not the right one to call for these services. After I apologized and explained that I was given the wrong number, the employee on the line would not stop getting on my case about how I was wrong. Not exactly the best customer service experience Ive had.
I understand that it is 6 days before Christmas; however, that does not excuse anyone from being blatantly rude and hateful to customers. I was notified by email that I had packages ready to be picked up. My one trip to the store ended in three visits to the counter before I was able to get my 4th and final package. Please ensure Georgia receives customer service training, or remains behind-the-scene during busy times. Thank you to the other staff who remained professional.

We went there to get something notarized. The guy made false statements about stipulations on who could be witnesses. My husband is a lawyer. We decided it wasnt worth the argument. I wont be wasting my time coming here.

Go to FED EX, USPS, Hand Deliver, Email, Facebook, Fax, iMessage, Use Smoke Signals, Train a Pigeon, Wait for Santa, or Build a Teleporting Machine! Do not go to this store!!! I had my first AND last experience with this UPS store today. If you want to have the Gifts that you spent hours online and in store Purchasing and Wrapping, the Homemade Happy Birthday Sign, and the Party Invitation (Which you only brought to the store, so you could have the address to ship the package) haphazardly thrown into a box that you are paying $26.00 to ship, Then please just ask for Josh. He will treat you as careless as the way he packs boxes for this UPS store. Josh may even utter phases like You could have told me that you wanted to put them in AFTER you told him that you have NEVER shipped a package before. Luckily, the store has comfy carpet for you to kneel on, when you are taking out hand fulls of packing peanuts so that you can reach the discombobulated gifts, the face down Happy Birthday Sign, and Party Invitation (Which I only brought to have the address, not to Ship in the Box). Clearly, Josh has a strong grasp of what it means to completely satisfy his customers and is on the fast track for an upper management position.

Employees are rude and not helpful at all. Literally appeared as if we were bothering them asking to get a package shipped. The place won’t stay in business if they keep this up.

If I could give this zero stars I would. We went to get a paper notarized for my daughters ACT test. The public notary there was angry and would not help us the moment we walked in the door. Horrible customer service!
