The employees at this store are very knowledgeable and helpful. I just came in for a new charger for my Macbook, and the employee helping me let me know that they didnt have the correct one in stock, and the one they did have in stock would potentially harm my battery life in the long run. I know nothing about computers and they absolutely could have taken advantage of that to get a sale, but instead looked up local competitors stock and referred me elsewhere since I needed it today. I appreciate your employees honesty and I definitely will be back for future needs :)

I took my 10 year old MacBook with a super full memory and snail pace processing speed that I hadn’t been able to open my photo library in for a couple of years. Talked with Collin who ran several diagnostics, discussed at length what could be done to salvage my photos, and what my options were. He was extremely knowledgeable without being too technical, and very patient. I eventually made the decision to buy a new laptop from them and he helped me choose what I needed based on my computer use and preferences. He ensured that all my documents and photos were transferred to the new laptop, all with a calm, gentle manner. Great soundtrack playing in the background by the way!! Thankyou Collin!
Have tried to book an appointment with them and could never get one. Decided to go in the store and was told that I needed to book an appointment even though the store is completely empty. It’s absolutely stupid. I’m better off just getting a new phone vs trying to get mine fixed.THIS DID NOT HAPPEN AT THE APPLE STORE IN THE MALL

I have had a really good experience shopping here every time I have been here and the staff here is very welcoming and knowledgeable. The location is very easy to access and well managed so you can get help right away. They are well worth a visit.
Ive been having problems with my MacBook Air for months and was planning on buying a new computer, but figured Id drop in and see if there was anything that could be done before I gave up. I was not hopeful, but Chris completely exceeded all expectations! Not only did he go above and beyond to fix all my computer problems (even ones I didnt know I had), but he was so nice about it! It works. No other options available since the Haywood Mall Apple store closed. If you are in a rush....shelve that feeling.(I GUESS??) The new normal with everyone working from home and the increased demand for parts and the labor to fix computers has overwhelmed the tech staff?Nothing overtly wrong with the staff or the store. Its in a great location if you want to check out DT Greenville.Just dont expect to be able to drop off and pick up the same day.
After leaving a negative review the owner reached out to me and explained to me the situation and fixed the problem within two hours. Reaching out to me quickly shows he cares and is there for his customers. It reaffirms my good opinion of the IStore in the upstate and within the Apple community! I happened upon iStore since the Haywood Mall store was closed and am I glad I did! The staff was knowledgeable and polite and they really are up to date on anything Apple related. Ill be taking all of my business here from now on. Customer experience is everything these days and Istore just doesn’t have it.I visited during COVID pandemic because the Apple store was closed for appointments. I only visited this establishment because Apple recommended them before we tried other means. My screen had issues but it wasn’t cosmetic damage,it was prompted by apple update. Without looking at my phone, I was told that they would have to keep my phone that day to replace the screen. No diagnostic or anything similar was run. When I informed the man that I have to use my phone daily for work and cannot be without it - he showed no sympathy or gave an alternative solution. When I prompted to brainstorm alternative solutions he told me something to the effects of “too bad” and offered no other help. He added that if I didn’t leave my phone that moment that I would forgo that opportunity.Again, this was an apple problem originally. My disappointment was with the lack of customer service or motivation to help your clients regardless of the reason. If you sell a specific Vendor, know your limitations yes, however offering no solution or no intention for resolve is not a way to treat your customer.
I have used IStore in the past, and had another problem. Joey was exceptional and my problem was solved. I had to buy another Imac. My first Imac was bought in 2009.
This is simply not the best route for apple repair. I took in my MacBook Air to be repairs and they charged me a diagnostic fee which I assumed was industry standard (it’s not) and then was told the replacement parts needed on my computer would cost around $700. I took it somewhere else and was able to have a free diagnostic test and the tech informed me that one chipOnly needed to be soldered instead of replaced. It was fixed for around $250 instead.

Great shop for all things Mac. Had a MacBook Pro serviced here and they were fast. They had to replace a Motherboard. They turned it around very quickly.
I had a mac pro repaired and wasnt finished on the promised day it was more than week delay plus my new mac book wasnt the way i brought it in. It has a dent and they declined it wasnt their fault do to reviewing their camera while repairing of course I couldnt see the footage. At that point i knew i should have taken it to apple store while it was under warranty. Only reason Ive taken it there so that I thought i saving some time but eventually took longer to repair and got damaged. Wow i just got response from the owner in 5 min. Saying wrong store. That sure isnt enough time to research their files. And you are saying i didnt have the repairs made there. Besides the apple store you are the only one near by or in Greenville approved by apple to fix under warranty. It was repaired last year I just didnt post any reviews until now and it just makes me upset looking at the $2500 laptop that has dents. So these little comments or replies owner makes after reviews isnt carefully checked or thought out. I had to edit the review since i couldnt not reply back.

I bought a desk top here last year and no matter what comes up, I can come in and Craig and Collin are there to offer support and encouragement. The professionals at iStore are lifesavers. They were able to not only fix my computer for a reasonable rate, they did it very quickly and were able to recover all my old files, something the Genius Bar said wouldnt be possible! the professional who helped me, Chad, was very patient when explaining what the problem was and my options for repairing it. I cant say enough how impressed I am with the iStore in downtown Greenville. I decided to try them, instead of an online order or going through the local big-box store in order to support a local small business owner during these troubled economic times.They advised me on my new 16-inch MacBook Pro order and upgraded the video card. Whether I called or visited in person, all of their staff were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.Most impressive, though, was how they helped after the Mac shipped and became lost at the local DHL warehouse. After calls to DHL failed to find the computer, Aaron, the owner of the iStore got personally involved. He, too, was stonewalled by DHL, so he drove to their warehouse in Greer and told them he wasnt leaving without my Mac! Sure enough, that broke the logjam. Aaron got my Mac and even called to offer to drive it to my home after hours (which I declined - picked it up the next morning at their store).How many other businesses would go to those lengths to satisfy a customer? I will always be a customer of theirs for any and all Mac-related service and product needs. Well done and thank you!

I dont know what I would do without these pros, who consistently act like Im on their front burner when those very rare Mac issues come up, and I have business deadlines that mean find a solution quickly.. Though I no longer live in Greenville, the iStore seems to be the main thing I miss!! Even so, being treated like Im still next door means its worth the drive.
This store is wonderful. As a 79 year old person who did not know how to turn on a computer at 50 but uses them now thirty times a day, I need help. All of my devises are Apple which includes a MacBook Air, watch, IPad, phone, all purchased from this store. The representatives, Collin Bryson and Joey Pelicano, are always very helpful in both explaining and fixing my devices. I highly recommend this store.

The Apple iStore in Greenville SC is my go to store for computers and devices. The reason for my loyalty is the S E R V I C E and customer interface. The staff is friendly, speak english instead of geekish, very knowledgeable of the products and always find time to help me use and get the most out of Apple products. Today my keyboard stopped talking to my iMAC and as a result I could not enter my password to login. A casual search on the net from my phone did not surface an answer so I called the iStore and talked with Joey, It took him about one nano-second to analyze the problem and his clear, simple directions got me up and running immediately. Nothing wrong with the iMac but plenty wrong with the operator! =) If I bought online, I would never get this type of local help! Thank you iStore and thank you Joey!

This place is fantastic. Ive had 2 issues that theyve helped me with immensely. First, when my laptop had issues from water in the trackpad Apple wanted a flat fee of $700+ to fix (probably almost what laptop was worth). They fixed that one part for less than $200 (dont remember exactly, only that it was totally reasonable). 2nd - I had a ton of issues with my laptop being slow, and they helped me understand how to solve the issue and its way more optimal now for what I need and Im easily 10x more productive on it. I cant recommend them enough for a repair or troubleshooting issue - dont go to Apple and dont waste your time online - just make an appointment and go from there.
They listened to my concerns, and complete fixed my computer. Instead of just cleaning the keyboard that I split milk on, they completely replaced the whole bottom half of my computer! LOVE their service.
The staff at this Istore were incredibly kind and helpful. They took special care to do all that they could to ensure I was given the full extent of my apple care warranty. They were honest, hard-working, and very skilled. I would choose this Apple store over any other in the upstate. I am very grateful for the quality of service and customer support I received.
Though I purchased a pre-owned iPhone 6Plus online, several times I have had questions and stopped by this store with some things I did not understand. Each time, I was greeted, and assisted as if I had just spent $5,000 buying new merchandise. All of the guys are friendly and more than happy to help with any issues I have presented!
This store has horrible customer service. You make reservations by the hour through the apple website, but they dont actually give you any time whatsoever. I needed them to take 5 minutes to tell me some information about the hardware inside the product I brought in - which was an operation they confirmed would only take 5 minutes - and they said they didnt have time and wouldnt be able to get to it for a few weeks and that I needed to leave the device with them. The store was empty except for one person and the person helping me was sitting at the computer when I walked in. They were not busy and could not take 5 minutes to help despite the fact that I had booked a full hour with them.
Great store! I shattered my iphone and needed to send it back to Apple. The employee quickly did all the diagnostic tests on it, gave me worst/best case scenarios, and answered all of my 100 questions! All of them are super nice and knowledgeable!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!I brought my (still under warranty) iPhone X in on Friday, July 6, because it was experiencing phantom touch issues, rendering it basically useless. I made an appointment via the Apple Support website which offered this location as an option listing it as a Apple Premium Service Provider (I dont think Apple knows what the word premium means). They had an appointment available several days before the actual Apple store, although I still had to wait about 3 days before my appointment anyway.When I checked in for my appointment, the guy at the counter told me they had seen that issue a few times on the iPhone X and the typical solution was replacing the display, and that would be covered under warranty as long as there was no physical damage to the phone. This was not an issue since its been in an Otterbox with a glass screen protector since the moment I took it out of its original packaging.Later that afternoon I got a call that my phone was ready for pickup. Instead of replacing the display, which is what they were supposed to do, the technician reseated cables (whatever that means). When I picked it up, it was working fine; I was happy. Fast forward to Saturday, July 7, and I began experiencing the exact same problem again. This continued through the weekend.Monday, July 9, I called the store and told them that their repair did not solve the problem and they needed to replace the display as they should have in the first place. The guy on the phone said if I brought it in at that time, I wouldnt get it back until 6 p.m. I told him I would drop it off the next morning when they opened.I dropped my phone off and was checked in at about 9:20 a.m. on Tuesday, July 10. The kid who checked my in said since I was bringing it back for a second time, my phone would be the next thing the person who presumably does the display replacements worked on. Great, I said, thanks!Well, wondering why it takes 4+ hours to replace one iPhone display, I called the store at around 1:45 p.m. The INCREDIBLY RUDE employee who answered said my phone was next in the queue. Thats weird, because thats what I was told when I dropped it off. Oh, and of course, the person who will be doing the replacement is at lunch. I told the rude employee he needed to tell me when my phone would be ready, and he couldnt. THEN, he had the audacity to tell me that they really werent supposed to replace the display unless they could replicate the issue. WELL, IM LOOKING AT A DOCUMENT YOU MORONS PRODUCED THAT SHOWS EXACTLY AT WHAT TIME ON FRIDAY, JULY 6, YOU REPLICATED THE ISSUE. Yet, you didnt replace the display then like you were supposed to. I dont appreciate being called a liar, thank you very much.Im still not confident that these people will properly fix my phone, but even if they do, I know they are LAZY, RUDE LIARS, who may or may not even know what theyre doing and certainly have no clue what customer service is (whats new these days).I REPEAT: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Horrific customer service. My friend and I walked inThe two guys behind the counter were too busy playing. Ok n their phones. They never once acknowledged our presence. When we asked for help, the guy had no idea about the products on display. We had to point out his showroom floor to him and explain to him how the covers in stock would fit the iPad Pro 11. He had no idea about anything. Will buy from the mall or Best Buy but never, ever this place. Train your people in customer service. If they cant do that, why do you exist?

My new IPhone 8+ crushed. Everyone else quoted a $399.00 charge to replace the glass. I wasn’t sure if the home button was ruined but these guys said they would check it out. Much to my surprise and delight they replaced the screen in the store and charged me $169.00. These guys are honest and saved me a fortune. I will alway take my phone to this store. Initially I made an appointment to have my home button looked at. I trusted that iStore is a premium retailer for Apple products and repairs. Sadly, after looking at my phone, waiting 3 hours for my phone to be repaired. And $300 later after the technician told me I needed a “new phone” aka refurbished phone. As soon as I got the phone, the employee told me that “some carriers will tell you that you cannot connect to the WiFi, but they really can”. BIG WARNING SIGN! The phone was without a box, and handed directly to me before closing. My “new phone” did not connect to the carrier, WiFi, and after going to my carrier, they deemed it a lemon and requested that I should go to the Apple store.After 1 hour of waiting for an emergency appointment at 8pm, the Apple technician told that there was nothing they could do to fix my “new phone” because the technician at iStore did not close out the order for the “new phone” so the phone cannot be worked on, exchanged, or replaced until then. The lemon phone continues.After a night without a phone, I went to the iStore, and the sales rep that I met with was extremely rude, after I explained what the carrier manager, sales rep, and Apple support manager stated, and he refused to call the technician to close out the repair ticket due to him being off of work. I mentioned I was without a phone from Friday at 2pm- Saturday at 10am, and I would have to be without a working phone, even after $300 repair fee, and I would have to wait until Monday during lunch to get the phone fixed. I, then, called Apple Support to complain now unsatisfactory I felt with poor customer service. THE ONLY reason why I rated 2 stars was the other employee, who was with a customer during the conversation, politely called the technician, to have him close out the repair ticket, and he was able to connect me to my carrier. I did go to my carrier, and turned in the lemon phone for a newer phone that came in a box.Moral of the story: DON’T go to the IStore for major repairs. Go straight to the Apple store. There’s a reason why there is a wait for appointments.

I set up an appointment online to get my screen repaired through Apple. I show up and they tell me they have to mail in all screen repairs. After leaving I was contacted by the iStore and was offered a solution that would get my phone repaired without having to go without a phone or step foot in Haywood Mall.
