Seems this company makes promises of services that they simply cannot provide.I am paying for the largest package offered 25mbs as I am trying to run a business and I am not even able to get the speeds of the lowest package offered since the install.Seems its just one excuse after another.I have called numerous times and every time they send a service tech out its the same thing we have some changes / upgrades to make on the water tower and might need to come back out, we will have the office contact you .Nobody ever contacts me. I have been a customer for several months now and have yet to receive the service that I am paying for (25mbs) at $250.00 per month.Very disappointed with the level of customer service and I would not recommend this company to anyone who needs a dependable connection to the internet as it is nearly unusable. One would think that being one of their highest paying customers that they would do their best to ensure that they provide what is being paid for.

Beware of this company!!!!! We disconnected service and was told they would remove their equipment from our roof. Called for months and was told they were working on getting someone out to remove their equipment - weeks would pass and they did not show up. Call after call after call I was told they were working on getting someone out to remove their equipment. Final call I was told it is at their discretion to take down their equipment and they had decided not to remove the equipment. We now have to hire someone to take down their equipment from our roof. They evidently get away with this all the time so they continue to do business this way. Internet service and quality was not good - customer service was non-existent.
UPDATE: They tried today to come get the equipment that has been on my roof since April of last year when my contract ended without anyone being home. The man was nice to call me. thank goodness my dog was out and the gate was locked. When I called to let them know that I was not notified of anyone coming to my house, and I had asked them to come get their equipment last April. Kirstie stated that per the contact that I signed gave them permission to be on my roof without me being home. That contract expired April of 2020. Also before she said that, she stated that they were probably sent by for busy work, since i had not been notified which is it?. This is a horrible company. Since I have been with SHOUT the service is WAY better and the customer service absolutely is amazing!We have had Argon for the last 2years maybe, and yes I can not be thankful enough for the service I receive. (with the exception of these last few weeks) The reason for the 3 stars is because the customer service is horrible. I am a very positive person and give people their kudos when it warrants. I dont understand why you can not get anyone to call you back ever! The voicemail states to receive a call back before 9pm to choose that option, well I do and still get no response. This could be an A+ company with better customer service. People are willing to pay more for better service else where.

This company will offer speeds that they will never meet we have a 10 mb package right now and the most I can get is 1 and that’s on a good day and when we first got it it was Doing fine but then all of a sudden it went to straight garbage and it hasn’t gone back since I guarantee that you will be able to find a good company with good customer support better speed and have no issue for the same if not a lower price than what argon provides absolute joke for a company if I could I would give a 0/5 star review
The worst! Train wreck from the beginning should of been red flags! Please read reviews before giving these crooks your business.. DO NOT sign the contract and pay you will NOT get your money back even if they haven’t installed!!! Save yourself the frustration and go with a more reputable company, these guys needs to be put out of business!! Also office manager needs to learn customer service skills, VERY unprofessional!!
Bought a house that had their service from previous owner. Came home and the tower with the satellite was gone. They trespassed without permission and climbed on my rooftop without contacting me. I plan to call the local police.
Resident at a serviced addressed. Poor internet. Poor customer service/technical support. Poor price. Would not recommend this service to anyone and will actively inform friends and family to avoid this service.
Was With Shout/Tier One for Several Years,Stayed Down more than it was up.Finally After Many Calls they Came out and Said there was So much Interference around me they Would Need to Cancel my Service??Just Like that..Argon Came out and Checked out the Situation and Installed an Antenna and I have been up and Running For 6 Weeks Straight with no Interruption,Jordan the Sales Person Delivered as Promised and Im a Happy Customer.
We have been with Argo since 2012 and when it works it is a good company. Takes too long to get service when it is down. Plus the horrible 20+ foot pole on top of my house which lighting struck once and ruined all electronic devices that were plugged in. Everytime there is a storm have to have it fixed knocks me out Customer service is horrible can never get anybody after hours leave a message and nobody calls you back It is a shame there are not more options around Quinlan without a 20 foot pole on your house.
Very very very poor customer service... Never call back, do not work with you on scheduling and no one is on call for the weekend... Ive Theybeen without service for 2 weeks!!! really suck on customer service and scheduling... Cant wait for my contact to be up
Posted reply on Facebook for your service per the ad! Waited a few hours, and then went to activity log clicked on the link, and low and behold. It was either deleted or just my query!So apparently they have no desire to do business in a fair manner, and since I requested contact and they just deleted my post the bad reviews are actually true, allof them! No I am not a customer, and never will be! They delete my reply, and dont even try to contact me! Just called to find out why they didnt even contact me, and the person(s) are not in(1:48 PM may 7 2020) left phone number for them to call back with why they deleted it!Sent email yesterday, and follow up today may 8th 2020, still no response, as far as I can tell the refuse go contact me. I can only conclude that they have no desire to he called out on their business practices, or they lack the courage to fix their business practices!!!
Wasnt impressed. I hear their service is good. But store front is lacking. Hot in front. No chairs available for visitors. Old displays, and items scattered about or pushed against the walls. So will see how their service is, compared to their building.
Weve had Argons service since the middle of November 2018. Whenever I call everyone seems nice on the phone but get no results. I have made a lot of phone calls and have sent a few emails but receive no reply.We are paying for their Tier 3 service which is supposed to have 15Mb down and at least 10Mb down sustained. Our antenna is pointed at the Quinlan tower.I have ran numerous speed tests with only 3 devices connected with no streaming/just on. Then I ran speed tests with 15 devices connected with no streaming/just on. I did not see any difference whether I had 3 or 15 devices connected. All tests were ran from 7:30am-3:30pm during the week. Downloads ran from 0.33 to 6.45. Uploads 0.49-3.86. Latency was horrible. I verified my router is good and even performed a needed firmware update. All tests were run on a laptop with WiFi disabled and an Ethernet cord plugged into the router.Technicians have been out three times to see why my Internet speeds are so slow. The only thing they can blame it on is they need to update the back haul which I was informed in January and now it is almost July.Unfortunately I signed a 2-year contract. So tired of paying over $80/month for their service and not getting what they advertise.UPDATE:Called them again and they asked me to email them some more download speeds. Again the person with Argon was very nice.So I sent them the email within a few hours of speaking with them. To date still no response.I would give them a 0 if I could.Their lack of concern, customer service, etc. is the worst!UPDDATE 8/8/19After submitting a complaint through the BBB I was finally contacted.Two more trips were made by technicians who were once again friendly and knowledgeable. They finally removed me from Quinlan tower and pointed the dish to another tower.I would say 90% of the time I get what they advertise after two days of extensive testing.Just wish the employees in the office would work on better communicating with their customers.With all above being said I am satisfied with their service.
BUYER BEWARE!!!!DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They are VERY dishonest with everything that is going on!! The towers they have are down more times than not, so you have no internet connection and they will NOT give you credit for the days they are down and it’s on them. The techs are NOT reliable at all and blame EVERY ISSUE on things other than the equipment they have, EVEN WHEN IT IS THE EQUIPMENT THEY HAVE!! If you have issues you can NEVER talk to the owners because they are ALWAYS out of town, or at least that is what the office staff will tell you. The lady that answers the phone during the day, is EXTREAMLY RUDE, SNARKY and has absolutely NO KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE!! I’m very surprised they stay in business with the way they treat customers. They will lock you into an outrageous contract and when you ask about getting out of it they want to charge you over $600 but tell you they cant do it because the owners are not available. The company is a sham and I’m very surprised they are still in business with the way the office staff treats customers!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I also find it very convenient that they have updated the Facebook page where you cant leave a review anymore!
We have been using Argon as a primary source for our internet. I am completely satisfied with the installation and the service we have received since. We had Time Warner in Mesquite before and the basic package with Argon provides with the same abilities as did the Time Warner. I would recommend Argon to everyone.Paul Owens
When it works this service is amazing. Tech support sucks. On average, my problems meant 5-7days without internet, and more days if you need them to come to the house to adjust antenna. Tech support is only 9-5 weekdays, no weekend support. Most of the time a phone call or email is not enough, I’ve had to walk into the office to get any attention. I’m tired of paying for service when it is down. Won’t even credit you for days of lost service. Today, after being down for 7 days at beginning of June, and now 4 days since June 28, I was told today at least 2 weeks before they could even have anyone look at my problem! That would mean close to 1 month with no internet service. Not acceptable.

My husband and I have had Argon for a few years now. We live in Farmersville, Tx. I have to say it has been awful. The worst customer service I have ever experineced. We have had nothing but problems. My hotspot in my cell phone works better than the internet that Argon provides. We called last week and asked what was going on because i couldnt even browse on my computer and the front desk lady told us there is nothing else we can do for you. This is after we have not been able to use our internet for 4 weeks+. When it storms it normally goes down for a week. We have been told by many employees that the tower servicing our area is not up to speed for the people it services. If you do have this company and they work for you. I promise you are one in a few. Thank you Argon for helping me know what horrible service is. I believe many fast food restaurants have better communication skills than the secretaries here do.
Even if your service goes down because of THEIR faulty equipment........YOU are still charged a service call fee for them coming out to fix THEIR screwup( their equipment). Count on their equipment not working at least once a month,doesnt matter, youll still be charged. Gotta be a better way.
This deserves less than one star. Do not expect your internet to be up consecutively for long periods of time for it will be off in an instant. Theres no buy out option so if your stuck with a contract like we are, god forgive.
This company is terrible and will not fix issues. Ive had service for two months and the connection is never reliable and constantly buffers. Connection will not even allow basic web surfing. I signed up for one of the faster speeds to stream videos, but was sold a $13 router for $100 that is not designed for video streaming. I replaced router at my own expense and continued to call multiple times for tech support to fix connection and they do not return calls. I went in person to try get resolution and they told me I needed to call in to tech support. I continued to try and call with no return calls. I finally talked to the office manager who refused to send a tech to fix issue.Dont do business with this company. They are incompetent and unprofessional.
Possibly the worst business that Ive ever dealt with in my life. Absolutely no customer service. Their internet service does not work half of the time, and when it does work it is no where near the speeds that they say (its barely better than dial up). They will come out and destroy your roof when they are installing it and drill big, nasty holes into your house. Good thing that these guys dont have a monopoly any more over rural high speed internet. There are finally other options.
I have had them for several months now and I have to say they are much better than cool access. (my prior IP). The price is excellent, about 1/3 of what I was paying for cool access. Have had very little problem and although I am only paying for a 1 service it is much faster than I ever got from cool access for which I was paying a lot more for. Very little down time and the few times I had problems, (mostly my fault) there was always some one there to help. I strongly recommend Argon Technologies internet.. is back out for the night.. Argon technologies .. the best there is out here in Hunt county AT least they let you know what is going on..

I have never had a single problem with this company. When my internet was messed up and my box went out they came out same day and replaced it right away with no questions asked and they helped on the phone get my internet fixed right away!!
Terrible company. They make you pay upfront before they even come out and check out the property. They couldnt put their service at my house and now I keep getting the run around to get my refund. Its been a week and a half and still no refund.
Very, very, VERY bad internet company, weve been out an entire week without internet, and even when its online, it cuts in and out constantly! Weve called them to send someone to check if everythings even working, and they never showed up on the scheduled day!Staff when you call is rude as well, and will say, and I quote, Thats your problem. um, excuse me? And even worse, we had to pay full price for this month, even with it constantly being down!Overall would not even give it one star if I had the option to.

I think 1 star is even too much. We finally got out of our contract after suffering for 18 months with this company.The office staff is unprofessional and rude and the service and equipment doesnt work. I dont see how they are still in business. This is the worst company that I have ever had to deal with. We have a new Internet company now and weve had them for almost a year and it has NEVER gone out, even with all of hour heavy storms. We learned a hard and expensive lesson by not listening to the warnings about Argon from the many horrible reviews. Dont get duped. You have been warned!!!!!
I am about sick of not having internet. We went two weeks with out signal and you think that makes me feel good to pay for nothing? They say its the router but been through two netgear routers and was updated to their router. Guess what their router isnt working either. No internet.
Wish i could give less than one star. These people shouldt even be in business. They have no problem charging you for services they have no intention of providing. i say that because the internet is literally so slow its unusable. They never fix anything. Every single time it rains you can plan on being without service for days, and you can bet theyll still charge you full price. They sucker people into not having an option by forcing you to sign a contract. DO NOT SIGN its nothing but grief and wasted money. id literally rather not have internet at all than deal with the constant migraine that is Argon Technologies.
I climb towers for them and why people have really good and others have bad is bc all of the radios are overloaded so if your close to a tower your going to end kicking people off bc. The signal strength
This Company is by far the worst internet service i have ever encountered.Not only does the service not work more than have of the time but the owner refuses to update the service towers and would rather have his staff tell his customers lies after lies.. Save yourself the trouble and find a better internet provider...
If I could give it no star I would do so..Never answer phones..we barely get 2mbs..most of the time it is around 1.2 or less..paying 80. for 3mbs. If you have another choice steer clear.
Im with just about everyone else on Google. Our current connection performance hovers at around .80 mbps download and .47 mbps upload. Were paying for 3 mbps. Have NEVER seen those speeds. Sometimes we are able to stream video but,, most often not. We are rural customers with limited options. Thank you, Obama, for fulfilling your promise of fair broadband access for all Americans. NOT! The only thing that I can say good about their product so far is that, compared to LTE service of which they gouge you incessantly on price with ridiculous caps, were still paying way too much for way too little. But, as with other rural customers. we must grin and bear it........
I had Argons Internet service for nearly 3 years. Not only do they gouge you because you are rural and may not have any other options, but their internet connection drops all the time and is out many times all day (or most of the day). If you call tech support you can reach someone about 1/2 the time. Melissa is the only one there that is any count. The rest of the girls have a bad attitude. Im excited as new and emerging technologies continue to develop such as tethering to your cell phone for Internet, and satellite Internet with the merger of AT&T and Directv. I also know that AT&T is expanding their UVerse (fiberoptic network). I hope that once these other offerings come about, that everyone will be able to jump ship on this expensive and unreliable Technology called Argon.
Where to start? Poor service, doesnt work well at all,impossible to get help, rude workers, overpriced and more. Weve had them for years as dial up is the only other option here and half the time i think plain dial up would be better. I pay for 2mb at around 70 a month and dont think ive ever gotten that. Too slow for streaming videos and no way Netflix is working. I average well under 1mb and down to near 56k dial up speeds. If it connects. Drops are the norm and service will go out completely for a day at least every few weeks. Ive called, Ive went up there and the help is so so bad. Every month i check to see if anyone else is available in our area and keep my fingers crossed. When we do get to cancel Argon i expect it too be a huge ordeal based on what ive read and heard from others. This is one of those business that its really shocking it is able to stay open based on there product performance and horrible service.
Internet never works and the tech support they send constantly has an excuse for why they cant fix it that day. They always forget their equipment and never answer their phones. They wait to the last minute to come out to your house and leave you waiting on them all day long.
I called Argon for service on 12/12. Was told install date will be 12/20!? I got installed and you get what you pay for. 2mbps is 2mbps. there are no bursts to 10mbps(False claim). When you live in the sticks you take what you can get..I rated value for the money at a zero because $81/mo(taxes included) for a hard throttled 2mbps is a bit much, but those are his prices and have been those prices since he started offering broadband AFAIK. The internet is changing and nowadays 2mbps is just barely enough for someone who USES the internet. If your looking up muffin recipies, 2mbps is plenty. IMHO $81 should at LEAST get you a 3.5mbps connection if not 4.Now for the review after one week of service.Since I have been installed, my link to their AP(tower) will not stay up for 15 minutes at a time. If it went down once it has been down 100 times in the last 7 days. Until today I sent an email and a screenshot EVERY time the service has gone down. Emails totaling 45. Thats just when it went down while I was trying to use it. Out of the 40 emails I was replied to TWICE. Both times had me go through the gammit of quick fixes. Bypass the router...why? Need the router for WiFi for my other devices. However, I did all she asked with no result.This has been the one of the most unstable internet connections I have ever had. Just today I could not hold a stable 32k WMA AUDIO STREAM!!!!! I had to resort to using my cellphone for listening to this stream(The Ticket). I cannot in good faith recommend Argon Technologies to anyone and I am writing this for all to see before they make the mistake of subscribing.
This company is a joke. $80 for 3 Mbps, it is 2015 for Gods sake. Stay away from these guys at all costs. Their service is terrible, the way they get you is with the 2 year contract. RUN, and do not look back.

I don’t think we’ve ever seen a whole movie without it buffering 😐We’re just waiting out our contract.
