Decent experience but could have been better. There were a few things that bugged me but nothing that was a huge deal. The nutella crepe didnt have any nutella inside of it, which I thought was odd. When I asked about it the waitress just told me thats how they were making it now. Last time I went, they put nutella inside it, which is fine I suppose, i just expected the waitress to try and make it right. I couldnt say i had a bad time, but I also couldnt say i had a wonderful experience.

This is hands down the best brunch I have ever had. The owner was so sweet and her suggestions were perfect. I am not from the area but every time I travel to Greenville, this will be the place I choose. The Borgia coffee I ordered was to die for. The banana’s foster crepe was exquisite. If this is how the French dine then I definitely am happy to have found this gem of a cafe to satisfy my palate.I wish I could give Crepe du Jour 10 stars for: best flavor, inviting atmosphere, great vibe, friendly staff, clean and well maintained establishment.Back for my second experience and this time I brought my daughter and husband. You can’t have a bad time at this establishment. Our waiter was awesome and had us entertained throughout our meal. The food is so rich and amazing. I again had the Borgia and this time I ordered the recommended Greenville sweet crepe with almond flavor in cream cheese topped with strawberries. (I forgot the name of it.) Next time I will order the ice cream dessert. I was amazed that the flower garnishment was edible and our waiter gave me one! It was such a sweet moment! Good times!

This place is REALLY good! When inside, it gave me the feeling that I was in a restaurant in Paris. The food, service, & atmosphere is spectacular and I highly recommend trying it. It’s a little pricey, but like all things, you get what you pay for.... and here you can get an incredible crepe & coffee!

Amazingly their coffee is just as wonderful as their crepes and their crepes are spectacular. We had the chicken and mushroom, smoked turkey and bacon and tomato pesto crepes. They were delicious, an amazing portion and a delight. We watched them make their various sweet crepes and they looked so good, but we were full. The various coffee offerings amazed, so much so that we returned for just coffee on our way out of town. Great downtown location and the restaurant itself is beautiful. It is a pleasure to rate Crepe du Jour a 5 rating, the baristas and manager Anthony also made our visit special. This is a must experience for any meal-

I decided to come back here and was very happy about everything! Great food, amazing service, writer was so polite and perfectly knew all menu. I am allergic to dairy and he made sure I got my almond milk cappuccino. My husband loved his ice cream crepe and I was in love with my salad. Coffee is amazing and atmosphere was good. Thank you Anthony . My husband and I will be back again. I recommend this place to everyone !

Came one day during week for early lunch. Server had some tablet that he did not know how to operate. Took 5 min to order very simple items. Food was mediocre. Server was attentive. Will probably go elsewhere if i am downtown. With so many options places like this will probably not be around long if they dont up their game. This is not 1995 Greenville.

Even though this is a crepe place where almost everything has dairy in it, my waiter took the extra time to help me plan a full dairy free/reduced dairy menu. He swapped out regular milks and cheeses for those made of almond. Im new to a dairy free diet and not very pleased about it but he made the experience in this establishment very enjoyable. My meal had almond milk cream cheese with a strawberry compote and it was amazing even though Im used to regular cows milk preducts. I couldnt tell the difference whatsoever. I believe my meal was called the Main Street Crepe.

Hit up this 5 day old French Creperie in downtown Greenville and loved it.The ambience is hep and they serve a variety of savory/ sweet crepes, coffee and liquor.Tried their La Suzette: a sweet crepe shmeared in buttery orange sauce and Grand Mariner cognac - authentique!! Loved it. One of the better Suzettes Ive had. That with a shot of amaretto, a great start to a pleasant evening.Have a feeling this place is developing into a hot a happening one.Will be back!

A clean restaurant with friendly and efficient staff. I tried the tomato pesto crepe with caramelized onions and goat cheese and really enjoyed it. Its more expressive for lunch than, say, a comparable place serving sandwiches or paninis with no sides. They also have a full espresso and alcohol bar. Im looking forward to trying the dessert menu!

UDPATE 7/21/18: Changing my rating of Crepe du Jour from ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ to ⭐ because of poor food safety practices. We sat in front of the sweet crepe station and witnessed the lady working it wearing her gloves to clean, use her phone, drink her drink, and prepare peoples food without ever changing them (please know that the cook pictured in my photos is not the one mentioned here). We would have told the manager but couldnt figure out who that was. We saw her touch her phone, the clean rag, the sink and then a crepe. I loved this place till I saw that. Disappointing. Worth mentioning that she seemed to be the only one that didnt know how to switch gloves. We planned on ordering food till we saw that. We wont be returning unless that is different.Short story: Crepe du Jour is a great addition to Main Streets diverse selection of eateries. They have a good selection of sweet and savory crepes, accompanied by delicious caffeinated beverages. I particularly enjoyed my Mocha and Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Crepe. Service was great and quick too. UPDATE: Returned to have a sweet Crepe and loved the Nutella Crepe with Strawberries!

I had a Norwegian crepe and honestly didnt like it. The crepe itself was cold and tasted like it was cooked a long time before. However, my friend liked his crepe with beef stroganoff!

From the moment you walk in you feel welcome. Someone greets you as you walk in and all the employees are happy and friendly. As you continue you feel like you have traveled to a french cafe in Paris. Sitting at the bar is enjoyable as well because you can watch them make the crepes right in front of you. I almost forgot, the crepes are delicious and the presentation is very nice too.

Comparing Tandem creperie with Crepe du jour of downtown Greenville: the downtown vibe is more of a coffee shop and French pastry cafe which I prefer to the rustic barn feel in travelers rest. The downtown location is also great and I hope CDJ finds success in the months ahead. But, the better food is decidedly found in TR and we clean our plates every time. At tandem the chicken mushroom cheese and the lemon sugar crepes are fantastic. I plan to give crepe du jour another shot as the crepe Benedict concept sounds amazing. For your money though, take a trip out to TR and say hi to all the college kids for me.

I have been here twice, with the first time being absolutely amazing. It was overpriced, but thats to be expected from a place like this in downtown Greenville.However, the second time I went, it was terrible. The host gave me a very bad look when I walked in but seemed a bit too friendly to my boyfriend.I ordered the Nutella crepes and it barely had any Nutella. The crepe was so chewy I had to take tiny bites. It was unbearably dry (partially due to the lack of Nutella). I also ordered a coffee (same kind as the one in the picture) but when it came it didnt have a design on it. We also ordered sweet tea and received completely unsweet tea.We asked them to fix it and our server apparently put way too many pumps of sweetener in it because it was too sweet to drink. Our server was inattentive and came over to us twice during the whole time we were there.The host continued to give me mean looks until we left, at which point she tried to chat up my boyfriend and asked for his number. We very obviously are not just friends.Im appalled at how unprofessional the employees are.Someone in the back turned off all the lights in the entire restaurant while we were there which took about 3 minutes to be turned back on. Eating breakfast in complete darkness? Not my kind of thing.All in all, this was a bad experience and I wont be back unless Im dragging in by my hair. What kind of restaurant hires people that ignores their customers unless theyre attractive?

Cocktails here are absolutely worth every penny. We like the dessert crepes better than savory; would recommend bananas foster, nutella, and the build-your-own ice cream crepe (which is too much for one person).

Creative menu. Food was fresh and flavorful. Lack of a host made getting a table a little hectic and disorganized, but they had a hiring sign for a host/hostess, so I would think that issue will be quickly rectified. Restaurant had a nice atmosphere. Would recommend and definitely go back the next time Im in town.

I’ve been here twice, first time amazing. 5 star review easy. But, I was here 2 days ago and it was pretty empty, no one acknowledged us when we came in.. didn’t know if we were supposed to sit anywhere or be seated, then when we were told we can sit anywhere it took about 30 minutes to get menus. Not even to ask for our order.. I really loved this place the first time I came, highly disappointed, please work on it.

I absolutely adore this place. The menu is versatile because they have both dessert and dinner crepes. Both are scrumptious and leave me feeling satisfied. Their hot chocolate is also really good. Definitely something to write home about.

Great food. Great experience. We were a group of 6 people and we had a fun experience. The waiters and waitresses were dressed up for Halloween. The environment was not too stuffy but still clean. Nothing came in the way of enjoying it. The food was great. I had a breakfast crepe with smoked ham and an over-easy egg. It was good. The crepe consistency was great! Not too thin and not too thick. The servers were nice. The place was clean. We were seated in a timely manner. And the food came in a timely manner. The menu looks so good, I want to try everything on there!

( I love the bar with the blue lights under it.)However, the service picked up when our coffee drinks arrived and so we ordered something to eat.My husband ate the French Onion Soup and I ate the crepes with Bananas Foster.Both dishes were edible, but lacking. The soup was missing the bread and cheese; and, well, you can’t chop up bananas, cover it with caramel sauce and call it Bananas Foster.The manager on duty said she’d let the “Executive Chef” know. C’mon! No self respecting chef would allow soup missing half its ingredients to leave their kitchen, nor would they serve Bananas Foster as I described.In any event, I appreciated we were comped for both dishes.

This is my second time visiting Greenville and the experience has been amazing so far. My father, being a local encouraged me to try some unique restaurants around the city. We stumbled upon this on Crep Du Jour while walking around downtown in between lunch and dinner time, The atmosphere of the restaurant was very laid back and you could see a few people enjoying their creps with coffee (which by the way is fantastic). I ordered the Main Street crep and a cappuccino on the side. My crep was filled with a light almond creme and covered in some sort of strawberry syrup, neither being too heavy or overpowering. The crep itself was perfect, not too thick but still fluffy and flavourfull. The sweet strawberry syrup along with the almond filling created a delectable combination of flavours. The cappuccino was perfect.Overall a great experience that I would absolutely recommend for a quick dessert and coffee or a savory bite to eat.Food10/10Atmosphere8/10Service9/10

Well, where to start.... maybe embarrassed that I brought my best friend to try supposedly a delectable meal. French onion soup should not be on your menu. Disgusting, congealed, cold soup with dry Parmesan ”sprinkles” on top. Bag “o” soup. Last time I had french onion soup had deep flavor, soaked bold flavored croutons, topped with broiled cheese. Not only was the food lacking but the worst customer service. All of us have worked in the food industry and understand you can’t control the kitchen at times or outcomes. The fact that your staff member walked away without a word after repeatedly and incorrectly trying to “fix” the bills illustrates how the business is ran. There were 3 people, 3 bills, and 3 soups. Then there were crepes. Ordered from the crepe place of which 3 of 4 were the same. One to take home. On top of all of that the utensils were not once but twice dirty. Glass with visibly red lipstick and a spoon used by someone prior, hopefully, enjoyed the soup but had teeth marks and film up the handle of mystery white film. Lack of communication between staff. So bad none of us will be returning and will not recommend. Price is too high for what you get.

Stopped in for dessert after an evening on Main Street. We had coffee and dessert crepes. I have worked on Main for almost 15 years and this was my first time there. It was amazing. I highly recommend it for dessert. My wife and I are definitely going to come back and try breakfast crepes one morning very soon.

On this breezy fall afternoon, I perused down Main Street in search of an nice bowl of soup. My usual stop didnt have what I was looking for, so I popped in 4 additional restaurants asking after their soup of the day. Each was either out, or didnt have anything that sounded enticing. I came across Crepe du Jours chalk, sidewalk sign advertising Mushroom Soup! I have been here a handful of times in the past for breakfast, but had not previously considered stopping in for lunch until today! I went in, sat at the bar, ordered Mushroom Soup, a Spinach, Mushroom Crepe and It was absolutely delicious. The best Mushroom Soup that Ive ever had and the crepe paired perfectly!! I will definitely be back for lunch again soon!

Delicious crepes in a relaxed atmosphere. On weekends breakfast is served until 3 PM. A wide variety of sweet and savory crepes are available, all very filling. The wait staff was very capable and the wait time for a table was reasonable.

Ate lunch here with a friend and took the waitresses recommendation of the chicken and mushroom crepe. It was absolutely awesome! Presentation, flavor, temperature, consistency, everything about it was right on the mark!The service was also terrific, including multiple fill-ups of water even after we had eaten and paid the bill (we were careful to be sure we were not taking up a table while people were waiting).The whole experience was excellent and Ill definitely be back!

This is one of the best restaurants Ive been to in downtown Greenville. The food is exceptional. Whether youre in the mood for savory or sweet crepes, they are absolutely delicious and beautifully plated. The wait staff is very friendly and the manager seems to run a very professional business. Every worker was focused on their job and attentive to their assignment. We were in there on a very busy day, and I closely watched how they handled the crowd with great poise and patience. When we completed our meal, no one made us feel the need to rush out the door in order to seat waiting customers (although we did). Whether you are coming in or going out, they seem to want every customer to have the best possible experience at their restaurant. Crepe Du Jour deserves 5+Stars! I highly recommend them!

Have never had a more rude experience at a restaurant. The snobbish attitude of the staff was disturbing to say the least. We waited 10 minutes for someone to wait on us and no response at all. When we approached the staff asking for help we were told we would be waited on. Another 10 minutes went by with no response. We finally got an employee’s attention and he approached us. He immediately turned around and spoke to the man in charge. The man in charge immediately approached us and said because they were understaffed and didn’t feel like waiting on us, we should probably go somewhere else. Never before in my life have I seen disrespect from a business like this. Clearly the message they are sending is that we don’t need your business we are fine. We were prepared to spend $75.00 and the pure snobbish attitude of the staff was appalling. The manager even told a member of my group to go have another drink. We hadn’t had a single drop of alcohol all night. They’re negligence of simple common curtesy is one of the worst displays of service I have ever seen in my life. I pray the doors closes on this place so no one else has to deal with being treated like a second class citizen. #shame

I got one of the sweet crepes (Nutella Crepe with bananas and strawberries) and it was really great! My only complaint is that I wish they would have put everything inside the crepe rather than on top of the crepe. But thats just me being pickyVery good and fast service!

Pros: Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. They allowed us to move once we were sat, because the stools hurt my back. The atmosphere was very clean and inviting. The food was delicious!Cons: Food came out at all different times. My wife was finished with her meal before I got mine (or what I thought was mine.) I was given someone elses entree. Although, they allowed me to snack on that one while I waited on mine. Once I did get what I ordered I had almost finished it before my side item arrived.All in all it was an average visit, but we will likely try it again. We just wont come on a busy Sunday morning.

The food was delicious. The Crepes were moist and soft, and they went with anything they gave us. The service was wonderful; our server came to check on us every so often, and was very kind. I have an allergy to peanuts (which they don’t carry any), and treenuts. For my allergy, they changed gloves, pans, and took all necessary precautions to ensure my meal was nut-free. The place is lovely, with nice decorations and calm music in the background. Overall, a wonderful and tasty experience.

The food and drink menus are filled with great choices, and they do not disappoint. However, the service is lacking as you may likely have an extended wait on food or service. Plan accordingly if youre looking for something quick. With that being said; The manager did speak with us about the service before we left and was willing to make amends. We appreciated his offer, but we declined because we understand that theyre trying to find their legs. We will definitely give this restaurant a second chance.

The food was excellent! It took a little bit to get out to us, but well worth the wait because of how fresh it was! I had the Benedict Royale, and it was just the right blend of sweet crepe and savory toppings. Everything looked and tasted freshly prepared. The staff was attentive and polite despite how busy it was. Great brunch spot for the person who loves brunch food but doesnt want to wake up early to get it (breakfast menu served until 3 on Sundays)!

The owner, Anthony, was handing out samples outside as my husband and I were out and about at night. He was very kind and began to tell us about this place and all it had to offer. The attention to detail was incredible; from the types of wine they carry (which Anthony had a very vast knowledge of) to the espresso they make, all the way to the napkins they use. We each had a specialty coffee and shared a chicken and mushroom crepe. AMAZING. The flavor of each thing was so carefully created. I was totally unaware that this place did dinner and can be a coffee shop as well! The atmosphere is perfect for meetings (music is not too loud and lighting is great-rather than a lot of places that are super dark) and I look forward to supporting this local business. Will definitely be a regular here and highly recommend trying it!

Another delicious dinner at Crepe du Jour. For those of you who haven’t been, in addition to sweet crepes, they serve generously-portioned, sophisticated, savory crepes. Chicken and mushroom with bechamel is a must. Try it for yourself, service and ambiance just delightful.

I have been to this restaurant twice, and feel that it has greatly improved over the year interval between visits. The environment is nice, and is comparable with the downtown feel of other locations, although a bit closed-quarters in some parts of the restaurant. The service was excellent, the crepes were ordered were delicious (sausage, egg, potato one was delicious & MUST try strawberry and Nutella), and I really enjoyed the coffee here. I do need to mention that my coffee cup had lipstick on it, but the issue was taken care of immediately, and replaced with something even better.

Had lunch with 2 girlfriends today and our experience was outstanding! So many amazing Options and the portions were larger than we expected. Flavors were amazing. I had a gluten free spinach and mushroom with the Dijon sauce-soooo delicious! Anthony was so welcoming and shared with us some upcoming specials to come back for, and we definitely will!!
