Amazing little coffee shop.... wonderful drinks crafted with love, the space is very unique. The staff knows their regular customers and remembers their drinks. I’m not a regular yet, but I will be, I’ve driven past for years and finally stopped in last week. It’s a small space, but feels like a treehouse when you climb the spiral staircase and have a view outside. There is also plenty of outdoor seating with shade.

Delicious coffee and yummy local pastries/muffins/cakes with a great atmosphere. The paintings on the walls of the unique building give a homey feel. Super friendly staff. This is quickly becoming a favorite study spot, or just a place to grab a quick, good quality coffee. (And, their Halloween decorations are awesome)

INCREDIBLE! Brian and Chris are so sweet and our lattes were TOP notch. We have been visiting the area for the past week and have visited many coffee shops... we have finally found our favorite! For one, WHAT A COOL BUILDING, two- the coffee is so good, and last- there was no stuffy pretentious vibe (like some of the other local shops.) Support local and skip the big chains!!!(Only tips- switch to compostable straws and cups? Also, add legitimate cold brew to the menu?)

Located in a great quirky, flat-iron-esque building, 101 Espresso Bar is a nice place to grab a great espresso drink (cold or hot). They had some interesting flavors that a lot of local places dont feature, which made the experience a bit more unique than other coffee shops that we have visited. Think flavors like turtle lattes (caramel/chocolate) and peanut butter. If the menu isnt unique enough for you, the shop itself should suffice. You enter in on the first floor in a room that is more triangular in shape and features a small atrium above you. Next to the door is a spiral staircase that takes you up to the majority of the seating, with both floors sharing a wall of windows looking toward Wade Hampton and the future home of Harris Teeter (at Stone and Wade Hampton).We thoroughly enjoyed our drinks and our time at this nice spot and will gladly return, especially after the great and courteous service we received from the shops staff and owners.

Very unique little coffee shop! Got an iced Americano that was good. Owner is super friendly guy. There is limited seating up the spiral stairs and seating outside. I wish they were open later but Ill definitely go back when I can.

Great cappuccino. One of the best I’ve ever had. The coffee quality is fantastic. Phoenix Roasters is the bean roaster for these guys. Awesome!

AWESOME place. Super unique and good coffee as well. Definitely recommend. The upstairs is small but can fit 10 or so people. There is an outside during nice weather though, and there are plenty of tables under a shaded cover.

The atmosphere of the establishment was very cozy. During this visit, I met the owners, Brian and Jonathan. They were both very friendly, engaging and professional. They treated the patrons like family vs customers. Very nice location to just have coffee alone or have a business meeting. Awesome place!

Fantastic local coffee joint with an extremely cool space. Small seating space upstairs for an intimate coffee with a friend, significant other, or a date. Seating outside for days with good weather. Small but tasty selection of baked goods!One suggestion would be to open up a little earlier by 7 or so and catch the morning business traffic. Especially with Starbucks opening up across the street in the Harris Teeter and Methodical having moved in near the Tap.

Walked here from the Overbrook neighborhood this morning, brought our pups and sat outside. The baristas were friendly, and although it’s an “espresso bar”, there is no pretentiousness here! My husband and I are by no means “coffee snobs”, and ordered just their regular brew with half and half... delicious! We were checked on several times by the staff even though we were sitting outside. Went back for seconds! Highly recommend.

I love espresso coffee and this place has a great variety of diff kinds. The owner is knowledgeable and open to trying whatever combination of flavors you like if you have a preference. I have attached a pic of their menu items as I couldn’t find one on here previously. I highly recommend this place. Some of my favs are: Nutella latte, vanilla lavender, and salter caramel and vanilla latte.

Patrick has an amazing coffeeshop here. The weird shape of the building draws you in and the amazing coffee and pastries to compliment the coffee. The upstairs has the sitting area. It is cozy and invites socializing with others that looked for a place to relax. The paintings hanging all over give it a home feeling.Definitely worth the visit whenever youre in the area. I know you will find me there.

Brian has a love for what he does, a passion for baking yummy, warm, flaky pastries and pies. The apple and lemon are delicious and melt in your mouth somewhat. I love the zing they leave.

I have really been wanting to try this coffee shop for a while now, and the one time that I’m able to make it to that part of town when they claim to be open the place was dark and close down in the open sign was off. I even tried to call to see if they were open but nobody answered. I believe they should update their hours.I was thinking maybe they had change them but I went to their Facebook and it said they should’ve been open.I don’t feel right giving them one star for being closed down when I went by there, because something could’ve come up so I will give them three stars because everybody else gets them really good reviews. I imagine it is really good coffee. Hopefully I will get to change my review soon and give it a five star once I finally get to try it

This place is awesome! The building is one of the most unique, tiny buildings in greenville and they also have a nice outdoor space. I have been twice now and met both owners. They are incredibly friendly and generous with samples, which are delicious.

Saw the odd shaped building from the road one day and honestly just wanted to check it out! I ordered just a normal latte, and it was great! The prices were fair, and the barista was very friendly and helpful. The actual shop has to be one of the most unique coffee shops Ive ever been to. The only thing I would mention is that it wouldnt be a bad idea for the owners to go through and just do some little stuff like patch up a few spots with the wall paint, fix the ceiling light in front of the upstairs bar table, etc. All picky details, but it would just take the shop to the next level. But overall great place everyone should try! I will definitely be looking for another excuse to stop by.

I dont normally leave reviews unless Im very pleased or very upset. This place left me extremely pleased! I had never been before. I was nearby and googled local coffee. It popped up and I decided to give it a try. I love local coffee and would rather try that than go to Starbucks. This place had such a unique building for starters. The actual building looks paper thin. But the outside seating was cute and would be great on a warm day. I walked in and was quickly greeted by the owner who was warm and friendly. After getting his recommendation I tried the iced Nutella latte. The muffins looked amazing so I took his recommendation on that as well and chose the monkey bread muffin which he heated for me and it was delicious! The nutella latte was the perfect flavor! Not overly sweet but definitely sweet enough and the coffee flavor was great. The whole experience was wonderful and this place is truly a hidden gem that I stumbled upon. I highly recommend! Will be returning.
