When my wife and I decided to undertake a major remodeling of our master bathroom in our home in Greenville, North Carolina, we began looking for remodeling contractors in the area. When we selected Hancock Home Solutions, we found an amazing company and two amazing individuals that brought all those traits and more to our project. Mike and Angela Hancock guided us carefully and skillfully through every step in the entire project. Angela worked very closely with us in the selection of flooring, paint colors, tile, counter tops, cabinetry, fixtures, and much more. Her exquisite taste and genuine interest in listening to and understanding our needs made her an absolute pleasure to work with. Mike’s on-site and hands on management of the entire construction process was outstanding. His use of in-house labor meant that we had one point of contact throughout the remodeling experience. Both Mike and Angela were in continuous communication with us during the project. Mike and his team did a phenomenal job for us. They repaired some damaged flooring in our master bath which necessitated replacing the tile in our shower and tub areas as well. They were excellent in their communication as well as professional in taking care of cleaning up each time they were finished for the day. They gave good recommendations for products and just did an overall great quality job repairing and updating for us. Would definitely recommend!

Hancock Home Solutions team was great to work with. Angela was very responsive to all of my emails and questions. The workers arrived as scheduled. The tile backsplash and counter top installers were attentive and perfectionists. They coordinated their work seamlessly with the plumbing crew to get the work done in timely fashion. My counters, sink, faucet, and backsplash were all installed in one day. They even went to Lowes to get new outlets/covers and needed plumbing supplies. Even the initial encounter with Mike was great, as he went out of his way to meet with us the day we showed up at the showroom.

They did a great job! Took out old shower tile and door and replaced all. Everything is beautiful and we couldnt be happier !

Mike and Angela Hancock are amazing people to work with. They redid our kitchen and all three of our bathrooms with superb results. I recently downsized from a large home to a condo and wanted a small project in my kitchen completed. Fantastic experience overall. They helped me with a near-total renovation of a townhouse in order to prepare it for sale. They were very accommodating to my being out of state, and took the reins for selecting materials and color palettes, as well as performing the work with minimal oversight from me. I was provided with regular updates including photos to let me know how the project was going. All work performed was of high quality and at a fair price. I would highly recommend them.

Hancock Home Solutions delivered us a beautiful, complete bathroom remodel at a very reasonable price. They took our outdated, cramped bathroom and turned it into a large wheelchair accessible one. Angela and Mike worked to keep the project moving forward in a timely manner. We were kept apprised of the progress being made. Jeff and Joseph were very professional, courteous and paid attention to the smallest details to make sure the project met my husbands specific needs and requirements. For example, when they were installing the shower handles, they had him come in to make sure they were placed in the proper location so he could reach them from his roll-in wheelchair. We have started working with Angela and Mike on our next remodel project and have recommended them to our friends.

We used Hancock Home Solutions to remodel our new home before moving in and I can not say enough good things about our experience. They were just amazing to work with from beginning to end. They designed and installed a to die for kitchen, an absolutely beautiful master bath and closet!!! The shower is my hubbys favorite part! Naturally the kitchen is mine, I am so excited to have our family over for Thanksgiving this year! The kitchen is so functional and beautiful, I can hardly believe its the same house. Everything was completed on time and on budget. They said at our first meeting that they try to take the headache out of the whole process and they certainly delivered on that. They were honest and helpful every step of the way. Angela was available any time I had the tiniest question and Mike texted me pictures of the progress while we were still in SC preparing for our move. Theres a lot to be said for the confidence and security that gave us knowing we didnt have to worry about the new house while shutting down the old. I felt like I had my own personal Chip and Joanna Gaines!! Every time we made a visit to the house they were there working and the house was neat and clean. Mike and Angela were wonderful to work with. They were there to walk us though each step of the process from the design, demolition, and construction.Their crew was great! They made sure they protected all the floors and furniture with plastic covering and cleaned up at the end of each day.We are thrilled with our new master bathroom!If you are considering a remodel in your home, I highly recommend Mike and Angela.

The only reason I am giving Hancock two stars is because the actual labor workers were friendly and worked hard. We hired Hancock Solutions to renovate a 3rd floor attic space into a bonus room which we planned to make a home theater. Also we had two doors on the first floor we wanted changed to windows. It started off good and the attic renovation looked good initially but about 6 months later there was cracks all in the wall. We were told it was because we let it get too cold. We definitely did not let it get too cold the temperature was 73. They came back and had to redo it. When we hired a different contractor to work on a bathroom underneath the bonus room he was asking us about what work was done in the bonus room. He asked if there was a permit taken out on the bonus room renovation and we found out there WAS NO PERMIT EVER taken out before the renovation and also there was only TWO outlets placed in the entire bonus room which was HUGE. What if there had been an electrical fire? No electrician was ever consulted for the project. When we moved 3 years later we had to get someone to add outlets and eventually got the permit situation cared for so that the renovated square footage we spent thousands on would actually COUNT when trying to sell our house! It was frustrating and not something you want to deal with when its already stressful just selling a home in general. With the two doors that they switched out with windows they put two windows with grids in them when ALL of the other windows in our house had NO GRIDS. WHY WOULD A PROFESSIONAL DO THIS? We made them fix the window situation with windows that matched but of course it costed more. I have been waiting to write this honest review until we were moved and out of our house but I definitely plan on reporting this company. For our new house in another state we are about to start renovations and hired a contractor and told him this story and that it kind of made us not trust contractors. He was understanding and could not believe that someone would cut corners this way. WATCH YOUR BACK with this company they will try to cut corners and cheat you if you- especially if you are new, younger and slightly naive (yes we were a little naive to home renovations; we work in a totally different field and just trusted the professionals) home owners.

Hancock Kitchen & Bath totally remodeled our kitchen last year. This was a total remodel that involved removing a wall and taking the entire area down to the studs. It was a total transformation into a fantastic kitchen that we still love and marvel over. Our friends still comment on how wonderful it is.Angela and Mike were great to work and had great ideas. The work was done on schedule which was important because we were getting married in the house just a few weeks after the planned completion date. Also the project was done in budget with no surprises even with some changes and add-ons as well.I was very impressed how the workers left the area each day as it was totally cleaned and vacuumed and their attention to detail.We would definitely hire Hancock again. They are the Chip and Joanna Gaines of North Carolina.

We have used Hancock Home Solutions for a few projects as we recently moved into the area. The workmanship of his carpenters and attention to detail has been very impressive.Most recently, we remodeled our Master bathroom and we are thrilled with the result. Mike and Angela guided us through the process but not enough can be said about the quality of their carpenters!

Mike and his highly qualified, skilled, experienced crew did several remodeling projects including: kitchen, master bath, replaced all windows, front door entrance replacement, large deck replacement, driveway/walkways upgrade, plus multiple other minor projects. I appreciated that he was always honest, caring, and easy to consult with and make determinations for best choices. When I moved to my new home, Mike is the only person I called for multiple rooms to be painted. I dont know how his prices compare to others but generally you get what you pay for. I cannot recommend him highly enough and no, I am not related to him or being paid for this review. LOL

My wife and I needed a new roof on our home after damage sustained from Hurricane Florence. Mike was easy to work with and got us an estimate for our roof, which was well priced. It took a couple months to get a crew out here, due to a very busy time of the year for roofers. Once they made it out, they replaced everything within two full days, made improvements too, and also re-shingled two of our sheds in the backyard. Mike and his team are very knowledgeable on home repairs. Overall great experience. We will use Hancock Home Solutions for future jobs and recommend them to anyone.

Hancock Home Solutions worked with our plan to gut and reconfigure our kitchen. They coordinated with Lora at Garris Evans who designed the cabinet layout and supplied the cabinetry, & Buddy at Waters Carpet Center who did the Linoleum. Mike, Angela, and their guys do great work. We now have a beautiful and functional, open concept kitchen. There are still a couple of small details left but major completion has been achieved.

A few days past Hurricane Florence I contacted Mike Hancock because of some water seepage under my base boards in my below grade living room.Mike was gracious enough to be upfront with an estimated time that it would take to inspect the issue I was having, but due to the immense amount of business generated by the storm it was further out than i could wait...but even though this time frame was outside of the window that I had to complete the work Mike took the time to walk me through the steps needed to fix my home in a DIY project giving me the confidence to tackle the problem. We exchanged several emails with him giving me the needed steps and recommended changes that would have to happen to ensure my flooding stopped.I will without a doubt call on Hancock Home Solutions in the future if needed for home projects as Mikes customer service and kindness has sold me on his business.

I paid Mike Hancock with Hancockhomesolutions a deposit, at his office, to do some remodeling to my home after we agreed on price and had a written contract. Prior to paying him, he told my wife and I, at my house, that he would start in a month and the deposit was to hold my spot for next in line. The only time he ever came to my house was the day I met him for him to give me a quote. After over 4 months of run around and NO WORK to my house I ask for my deposit back, no hard feeling lets just shake hands and go our separate ways. He sent me an email about sorry we couldnt get everything worked out but said he would give my deposit back to me. After about two weeks I emailed him to see status of my refund and he stated that I should receive it in the mail soon. The very next business day, he backed out of refunding me via email. We recently went to court and myself, Mike Hancock and his wife Angela Hancock presented our case to the judge, the judge ruled in my favor and I have a judgement against his company for the deposit I paid. I have not currently received my deposit back to date. There are gaps in this business and the judge pointed them out in court.

I had Hancock Home Solutions remodel my 1950s bathroom. They did a wonderful job and I am very pleased with the finished product. They torn out my old tub and shower and installed a walk in shower. I was impressed with Mike right from the start. I meet with him and explained what I wanted and he sent me an estimate detailing exactly what I was requested. I received estimates from other vendors that left a lot of gray area as to exactly what was going to be done. As the work progressed I added several things to the original scope of work and these additions were incorporated smoothly and Mike kept me informed as to how much the additions where adding to the estimate. I will use them again and recommend them for home improvement projects.
