Was my first visit and I was impressed with the quality and quality of unfinished Amish furniture available. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Had no idea there was that much square footage of furniture behind those doors.

*BUYER BEWARE*We bought an unfinished table and six chairs that come with a one year warranty from Uncle Jakes Amish Furniture. Two weeks later the table and chairs come in, the staff loaded them into our truck bed that was lined with foam and cardboard that they provided. We get home to discover large, deep scratches all along the top of the table, a crack in a table leg, a crack in one of the chairs and a large chip out of another chair. We took pictures and were instructed to send them to the manager, Laura by email. She insisted that us transporting the table had caused the scratches and refused to replace the table or offer a refund even though there is a 1 year warranty, she states it only covers manufacturing defects. She did replace the chairs that were damaged and the cracked table leg. She first accused us of cutting the table leg with a knife when opening the box but quickly changed her story to blame the factory when I pointed out that we had not used a knife to open the box (we peeled the tape off to open and the box had no cuts). She also told me that they were just going to fix these pieces and send them out with a table that someone had already purchased. To top it all off I get home to unload the new chairs and there is a made in Vietnam sticker on the bottom of a chair that the store assured us was built in Ohio. If you value honesty, quality products, and good customer service dont waste your time stopping by Uncle Jakes.

Walked around the place for about 30 minutes. Tried to get the attention of a salesperson but not one person acknowledged that we were in the building let alone offered to assist us. Disappointed in the lack of customer service.I went back to the store about two weeks later and it was a completely different story. Im not sure what happened, but the customer service was much improved. I ended up buying four lawn chairs.

Its not just Amish, beautiful selection of quality furniture with personable staff. Not the largest selection, but its likely something there will answer your needs and the quality will surely last.

Now this place has very nice quality furniture. Its worth the price . The people are very friendly and helpful. All thier furniture looks feel solid and real like they made in the good old days you dont see great quality like that anymore it really is worth your first stop for furniture.

This is where to get custom cabinetry and shelving. You choose the dimensions, trim, doors, shelves, knobs, stain, paint or unfinished. Staff is knowledgeable, patient and helpful, not pushy.I recommend Uncle Jakes for dining tables and chairs as well.

Beautiful furniture

They have a wonderful staff and made our purchasing experience very nice. They have furniture ready to walk out the door our you can get furniture that you can stain yourself to save money. Or, you can have them stain it for you so you get the color you want or need. The have Amish made furniture there also which I really like. And they have a great selection of bar stools if that is what you are looking for.

I so enjoyed shopping at Uncle Jakes. So magnificently built furniture. Loved that I was not rushed by sales clerk. Totally satisfied with my TV stand...looks beautiful.

Had everytjing except what I was looking for

We moved into a new home a year ago. We were determined to buy solid wood furniture. We bought a kitchen table and chairs, a side board, office desk and hutch and a patio set. Now we are looking to purchase a buffet server and dressing vanity. We found those items today and will be purchasing them within the week. Absolutely love this store.

I bought saw raw unfinished chairs to stain to match a dining room table that I built myself. These chairs were like $140 a piece. I needed the chairs right then so ordering online was a no. I get these chairs home and start staining and on the bottom of the chair under the seat there is a perfect stamp on saying made in Vietnam!!!! Buyers beware this stuff is not Amish made nor is it even made in America. I will say for the chair. It is solidly built is very stable, made out of quality wood.However people should not charge a premium price for a sub-premium product. Wont be back!

Just purchased a glider bench with 2 adirondack chairs for my back porch. I absolutely LOVE it!!! The young guys who helped me were very kind andprofessional. I plan to get front porch furniture there very soon.

This is a very well run store and excellent products and customer service. We just moved here and weve purchased a bookcase, an office armoire and side table. My husband is a very experienced woodworker and feels the quality is very, very good. We had to order something and it came in a week early and was beautifully finished.

Nice furniture. Most of which the offer unfinished so you can sand and stain how you like. Because it is unfinished most of it is quite reasonable for solid wood construction.

Beautiful wood furniture, expensive But Worth it

Absolutely horrible. Spent nearly $600 on a room divider and finishing. Took over 2 months to get the piece finished. When it arrived it was the worst finishing job I have ever seen. The piece was clearly not prepped properly. Very uneven staining, and spots where the stain was basically not there. Clearly the woods was not cleaned or prep for proper finishing.
