I had several issues that needed attention when I brought my 2001 Ford Escape to Stephens Auto, two of which had been supposedly addressed by other mechanics without satisfactory results. I had been driving with the check engine light on for nearly three years because no one could figure out the problem. Well, Rick did figure it out, and my vehicle is now running better than it ever has since I bought it. To say Im pleased would be an understatement. Very honest family business. I’ve been using their services for three years and have been completely satisfied with their work and price. They are very busy and appointments are usually necessary. They will work you when you are in a pinch. They perform a old fashioned oil change where the vehicle is checked all over for developing problems. They take genuine interest in the customer

Wonderful, honest people. One mechanic told me, I treat people the way I want to be treated. Everything was cheap and they were very clear with their process. I recommend them to anybody in the Greenville, SC area.

I brought my Explorer to them because the battery kept going dead, I thought it was an electrical leak. When I picked it up the guy said they traced the drain and it was my radio so they just unplugged my radio and charged me $180. The very next day my battery was dead again. I went to Advance Auto and they tested my battery, it had a bad cell. Stephens is either the most incompetent auto repair shop in existence or they are scam artists. $180 to unplug my radio when it was as simple as a bad battery. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.response to the owner: so you traced an electrical drain that didnt exist because thats what I thought it might be? ok, got it.
