Have taken my 2009 Subaru Outback to Joseph several times. The main visit was for head gasket replacement and timing belt replacement. They quoted me a price before turning the first wrench. Not a cent over when finished. Joseph sent pictures during the job and a video when finished. Driven the car over 4000 miles since. No oil or coolant drips ever. Engine is still as clean as the day he finished the job. The Outback runs better than ever. Dropping my two old Honda’s off next. Customer for life.
I was trying to speak to him and he was outside talking to the landscapers for a long time. Then yelled at me for “not listening to him”. When I left my vehicle he stated the most I should expect to pay is $200. Then sends a message that my bill is $900! Way more then I expected, claims he fixed things with the engine, but all I asked for is to fix a problem with my tire rods. And I’m having tons of issues with my car so I don’t know if he really fixed anything with the engine or not like he claims. And I see that he’s going to comment on my review saying he has not been told anything but your so hard to talk to I don’t want to have to see you again, he takes advantage of people!
Told me there is not enough people working there (totally understandable) and they only do labor (?) ( which I have the parts) BUT they don’t take new customers .... you don’t take new customers???? I’m completely confused you have the same customers always?I’m gonna edit my post only because I read other reviews where there was explanation of not excepting new customers... now I understand just wish it was explained to me a little better ... I do appreciate the time they took out to respond to my request .. thank you
Joe is the best- my entire family and have been going to him for years for everything car related. Incredibly trustworthy, knowledgeable, honest, and has the best pricing. The only mechanic I’ve ever been to where they don’t try to up sell/do things your car doesn’t need. Can’t recommend L-Japan enough! Thank you, Joe!!!
This shop specializes in the repair of Japanese make vehicles. I took one of my vehicles there for repair. The owner was very professional. He even gave me advice on what to fix since it was an older vehicle and was not worth fixing everything He had my best interest in mind. I appreciate that. He was also very knowledgeable in mechanics. A true professional!
I had an incredible experience with L Japan Auto and would highly recommend! Traveled to Knoxville TN for Christmas, 2011 Subaru Outback temperature light began flashing, car began smoking. Took to dealer on Christmas Eve and left key in keybox w/ a note explaining issue. I called the dealer after Christmas, said head gasket blown, can replace for $3K w/ 50% chance it works, buy a used engine for $6,500 OR he could make us a great deal on a new Subaru! I called John, he called BS, said do you have AAA? Yes, he split the towing with me ($200!) Had it towed to his shop, he called me the next day and said your head gasket is fine, you only need a new radiator. His willingness to offer to split the towing AND find the real problem and fix it made a huge impact on my wife and I. It is so nice to find a mechanic that is honest and truly cares about his craft and customers. I will never go anywhere else.Thank you L Japan Automotive!
I highly recommend L Japan. Joe is very knowledgeable. Any Toyota owner should consider using L Japan for all of their maintenance and repair needs.
Much more honest and affordable than what the dealership had quoted my repairs at. Also got my car back much quicker than expected!
Recent 2011 Toyota Highlander HVAC unit case install and CV axle replacement. My repair was quick and thorough and we saved almost $1000 on the total repair versus 2 other quotes we received. Joseph explained the repair and pricing very thoroughly. I was very confident in leaving my SUV with him.We had him do the axle replacement additionally because we were sure it would be done correctly. All my maintenance and repair will be done at L-Japan from now on.
THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! So professional and the service was phenomenal! The service bays are immaculate and the work they do is impeccable! My car just past the 130,000 mile mark and I plan on driving my Toyota till I die so, L Japan will be my car repair go-to! I know with them taking care of my car, I will not have to buy another! So glad I took a chance and tried them out. Mr. Lee, the owner, takes so much pride and really cares for his customers and the cars they drive! L Japan Auto Service is a GEM!
I own three Toyota vehicles and one Nissan. Two of the Toyotas and the Nissan have just under 300,000 miles on them and they still run fine. Joe at L Japan has maintained these cars for my family for the past 8 years. His work is excellent and his knowledge and experience when diagnosing problems is great! L Japans prices are very reasonable and Joe backs up the work that he does. I would highly recommend that you give Joe a call the next time you need auto repairs.
I have a 2000 LEXUS RX300 V6-3.0L. It has 227,000 miles on it. Finding Joe has been a blessing. I have stuck with this quality vehicle because I dont wont a car payment and only need a car to get me around the Upstate. Plus, I plan on letting my daughter use it as her first car. However, a car with this many miles on it begins to have issues regardless of how well you think you maintained it. After years of wasting money nickle and diming repairs/service. I upped my game and decided to invest in quality care. Joes advanced state-of-the-art diagnostics and patient troubleshooting have shaved 10 years off my Lexus. He aspires for exceptional results and he stands by his work! I trust Joe and know he is invest in my goals too. Im so glad I found Joe! Im confident I can get 300,000 + out of this vehicle under Joes care! Joe is the man!
Joe Ly is very meticulous with the vehicles he works on. His fees are reasonable and he goes to great trouble to make sure you understand what needs repairing and why. He does good work and stands behind the work he does.
Knowledgeable and reasonable. Highly recommend!
I just picked up my 2015 Subaru Outback from this shop. I had to get an exhaust leak and wheel bearing fixed. The car runs wonderfully now. The brakes are smooth and everything is more quiet. The customer service was fantastic and friendly. Ill definitely be returning from now on, even for routine maintenance.
I am so glad to find out about L Japanese auto. I took my 2007 Subaru outback to the dealer for an oil change and was quoted $800 to have both tie rods and lower ball joint replaced. I then took it to an independent shop to be told that the tire rods were fine but the lower ball joint needed to be replaced and it would cost $1600 because of the steering spindle being part of the repair. The dealers price of $800 did not include the spindle and Im sure they would have added it. Joe at L Japanese auto listened patiently to my concerns on the phone and told me he had his own proprietary tool he invented to make this repair easier. He was able to make the repair without having to replace the steering spindle and do the entire job for $450. I have two brand new ball joints and $1100 extra dollars in my pocket. I am very glad to find someone who understands Subarus and is able to tell you honestly what needs to be done to them. I highly recommend L Japanese auto. I am glad to feel secure in knowing I have a great repair shop I can trust.
Joe is a true professional. Great communication. Has been working on our Honda Accord and Toyota 4Runner for a few years now and always does a timely, nice job. Have recommended to friends and they’ve come back saying the same. Thanks Joe! Keep up the good work!
L Japan Auto Service has earned my continuous business. I grew up in a Service Dept, have always been a car guy, and have worked at multiple dealerships - so I know what happens to cars inside of big chain dealers.Joe is the type of guy who takes the time to explain what is wrong, show you the parts which need work, and explain why its worth it. He is very keen and careful with higher mileage cars which is appreciated and needed. His prices are fair, and his inspection is thorough. He even corresponded with me via text and pictures of repairs throughout the process. Joe is #1 Car Mechanic.
I recently bought a used car and wanted an independent inspection. I called L Japan, they quoted me a fair price, and were able to fit me into their schedule later the same day. Joe not only performed and filled out the standard diagnostic report, but walked me through other issues the dealer had not noted. As other reviewers also note, the shop and waiting room are kept very neat and clean. In the end, Im pleased with the careful attention Joe gave both me and my car.
I have found a new shop for my car. Mr. Joe is attentive customer concerns. He and the men in the shop listened to my concerns and gave me a step by step explanation of the work done to my vehicle. The shop is very clean and just like where I work, cleanness matters in the work area.Thank you Mr. Joe and men for taking care of my car and my concerns.I highly recommend this business for automotive repairs.
Joe knows his stuff! You cant find a more HONEST and AFFORDABLE spot to keep your vehicle running well. Even other repair shops recommend him and the ones that dont are usually the ones ripping folks off. Not only will Joe fix it right, hell take the time to explain the issues in a way you can comprehend. He is up to date with the latest manufacturing issues and recalls too. Youd be wasting your time and money if you went anywhere else. Thanks again Joe for your superior service!
Joe at L Japan Auto was fantastic. On my 2000 Subaru Outback he replaced a wheel bearing and hub along with the master switch panel for the automatic windows. He also changed my oil, topped off my fluids, and did many other small fixes to the vehicle.Joe did all of this work within 24 hours, he updated my invoice via email if he had to make a change. His prices are incredibly fair and he is very honest.
L Japan Auto Services is AWESOME!!!!!! I just had the right real wheel bearings fixed...quickly, and at a very good price by Joe and his crew. My own mechanics didnt have the very specific Subaru tool to do the job and I didnt want to go to the dealers for the fix. Then I found Joe. The five star reviews convinced me that this was the place to go. Now I get to add my own five star review! I will be sending all of my Subaru/Japanese car owning friends to Joes for their repairs! Thanks Joe!
Joe was able to diagnose the problem and worked diligently to get my Subaru Outback running smoothly again and despite having to do more in labor costs he kept his promise of charging me the original invoice! It’s very nice to have a trustworthy and honest mechanic and you’ll find that here. He also gives deals to returning customers on oil changes and general checkups. I highly reccomend L Japan Auto Service!
I cannot speak highly enough regarding my experience working with Joe at L Japan Auto. I was driving home from Greenville, SC when my alternator went out and gave L Japan Auto a call because of their high ratings. Despite Joes busy schedule he was able to get the part I needed within an hour or two, install it, and get me safely back on the road home. He was extremely professional, and gave me an incredibly competitive price despite my desperate situation. It is clear that he takes pride in his shop and his work. He keeps an immaculate work space, and even thoroughly inspected my car before I got back on the road.I would highly recommend Joe and L Japan Auto Services to anyone who values high quality auto services and fair prices.
Joe does incredible work! After diagnosing multiple leaks in my car, need for head gasket replacements, and repair of my cadalidic converter, he fixed everything up in a reasonable time and at a price that couldnt be beaten. Joe is very down to earth, and I appreciate his honest desire and careful consideration in regards to repairing whats wrong. I have a 2006 Subaru Legacy, and its feels like I have a brand new car. I dont trust anyone else to make repairs for me!
Ive been taking my 2010 Mazda 3S to Joe at L-Japan since Nov 2015 (over a year). Started with a basic oil change but hes done all the maintenance on my car since (brakes, belts, fluids, etc.). Joe has exceptional pricing and always treats me very fairly. Workspace is clean and work is always done properly. Joe always makes honest recommendations and puts his customers first. I cant recommend L-Japan enough.
Ive only more recently began taking my car to L Japan and have found the pricing to be affordable and workmanship to be pristine. Joe is passionate about what he does and knows his stuff. He is always eager to explain exactly why and what he is doing to fix a problem. Bottomline, L Japan provides fair, reliable, thorough, and diligent service.
Friendly, professional and fantastic work. Highly recommend.Only shop in town equipped to work on a lowered vehicle.
Joe runs the kind of shop that you always hope to find. Honest, meticulously clean, thorough, etc. I just needed an oil change and tire rotation and balance (he got rid of a steering column vibration for me) but after reading the horror stories from the other authorized dealer shops, I didnt want to take my car anywhere. I gave Joe and his shop a try and I wouldnt go anywhere else in SC or Western NC for Subaru service work. He and his team do excellent work with attention to detail. Thanks Joe!
I have a 2000 Camry with 270,000 miles on it and have been taking my car only to Joe the last few years. I highly recommend him and his shop! Joe is not only highly capable and knowledgeable, he is extremely fair and honest. Hes always given practical recommendations with cost in mind. Even recently, he replaced a battery for me and later determined my alternator needed replacement. Joe uninstalled the new battery, reinstalled my old battery and charged me for the alternator. I know it may not seem like much but I doubt your usual quick lube shop would have done that sort of thing. Im sure I would have paid for a new battery and later replaced my alternator elsewhere. Beyond the fair dealing, Joe really is a great guy if youd take the time to talk with him. And he is clearly a proud business owner.
Excellent service on a big engine overhaul with fast turnaround. Completely thorough analysis and repair of engine. Honesty comes with a fair price - Joe wont pull your leg or steal your wallet. I brought my car up from South Florida thats how good he is.
Recommended by a friend, very impressed by the honesty of this gentlemen. Any other shop would have told me I needed a transmission without a second thought, but Joe pluged my vehicle up to a diagnostic test and explained exactly what was needed. Saved me money and time. Would recommend him to anyone that ask. Also the cleanest auto machanic shop I have ever seen. 5 STARS
After buying an older Toyota SUV, I wanted as shop in Greenville that I could take it for accountable and consistent maintenance. After some Google searching, I came upon L Japan, and the reviews were very positive so i decided to give it a chance. Im now glad that I can return the favor with a 5 star review.Joes general knowledge, attention to detail, and incredibly fair prices have kept me coming back time and time again. I couldnt recommend his services enough
Excellent experience with Joe and the team at L Japan. They are extremely knowledgeable, responsive, professional and seem to genuinely want to do right by the customer above all else. Grateful to have found them!
Hands down the best experience that I have ever had. Great customer service. Quality repairs. Reasonable pricing. I will be going back for more repairs and would recommend them to anyone
Honest mechanics are unfortunately very hard to come by. Ive had routine maintenance and several major services performed on my newer model Infiniti at L Japan Auto. Despite the fact that I live almost an hour away from the shop, I will continue to bring my car to Joe (the owner) for all maintenance and repairs. His idea of business is refreshing: He goes out of his way to ensure quality & customer satisfaction, is very honest, and will not talk you into purchasing any services that you do not need or could do yourself. He uses high quality fluids & parts and charges very fair prices. In summary, L Japan is better, cheaper, faster, and more honest than every mechanic and service center Ive ever dealt with.
If you are serious about keeping your Japanese-made car in the best shape, this is the place for you. Joe will explain the entire repair process and provide proof of his work so you know you are getting exactly what you paid for. Very honest and thorough, you wont find a finer mechanic or cleaner shop.
We have been using L Japan Auto Services for the last four years for all of our cars. Joe is always quick, helpful, heading off potential problems for the future and the best priced mechanic in the area. He knows what he is doing and can properly diagnose any problem. Our married girls have continued to use L Japan because of the great service and reasonable cost! You wont find a better mechanic!
Great job! Would highly recommend to others. My car wasnt starting properly because the cam shaft sensor piston needed to be replaced. Now it runs like a jewel!-Thank you Maxine
Joe is the best. Honest, detailed, quick with estimates and work
We have excellent experience with Mr. Joes honesty and wonderful skill. We got engine light on on our Honda Oddessy and were very nervous. Mr. Joe gave us the diagnosis very fast with his super diagnosis machine. But he really spent time on searching for the tiny part we really needed instead of replacing the whole unit for saving our money. We highly recommend L Japan to our friends. Thanks Mr. Joe.
How do they expect to have business when they are not taking new customers..
Around March of this year, I took my 2002 Mitsubishi to the Mitsubishi dealership because my car was running really rough and wanted them to hopefully tell me what the problem was. I dropped my car off to them that morning expecting to pick it up later that evening. However I received a phone call that afternoon advising me that my car was no longer running at all and would need to be towed from the dealership to someplace else because they would not be able to fix my car. I was told by the dealership that since my car is more than 10 years old they did not have any mechanics that would be able to work on my car. I was told this not from the beginning but after they did something to my car and then called to tell me my car was no longer running at all. They advised me it was now my responsibility to have my car towed from off of their lot and take it somewhere else to be fixed.I called L Japan Auto and spoke with Joe who arraigned for my car to be towed to his shop so that he could look over my car and tell me what the problem was. After my car was looked over I was told that the engine would need to be rebuilt. L Japan Auto was able to rebuild the engine in my 2002 Mitsubishi for me and I have been driving it ever since without any problems.Thank you, L Japan Auto for bringing my car back to life!
I am so entirely blown away by the service I received here. Not only is their system set up to make it easy on you (emailed estimates and invoices), Joe went well out of his way to make sure I was completely taken care of. Most importantly, Ive found Joe to be an honest mechanic- something j dont take for granted. I will most certainly be coming back with any issue in the future.
Joe runs a clean, hard working and honest shop. He is thorough and punctual with his work. I cannot thank him enough and I will not take my car anywhere else but L Japan.
Joe is the best mechanic in Greenville. He provides quality first. He treats your car as if it was his own and he adds years to its life. Hes a great person and an incredible mechanic.
I took my vehicle that must not break down to Joe. He showed me what the other 2 mechanic shops in 2 different states would not fix and told me why. I was treated fairly and with respect. All of my needs were met fully and this is a trustable business!
I am a single mom with 3 kids at home and dont know a lot about cars, so I have to rely on other peoples word to find a good mechanic I can trust. I discovered L Japan Auto through google. I read all of the great reviews and felt like it was a place I could take a chance on. I am happy to add to the great reviews now that I have experienced L Japan for myself. I have been taking my 2004 Toyota 4 runner and my daughters 1991 Toyota LandCruiser to Joe this year for oil changes and repairs. He has done great diagnostics and work on my vehicles. He is always very clear with me about any issues and the cost of the repairs. He always quotes a fair price and when I pick my car up I never pay more than what he promised. He does everything he can to save me money while also making sure I am doing what I need to to keep my car running for the longhaul. His work and the work of his team is high quality and thorough. His shop is clean and well organized. Recently I had a chance to use a mechanic closer to my house for a repair, but my confidence was not 100% in that mechanic. My confidence in Joes integrity and quality is worth the longer drive and peace of mind! I would recommend L Japan Auto to anyone looking for a mechanic they can trust and count on when needed.
I had a horrible experience. I came here because of the great reviews. This guy took 100$ of my pocket and did not fix anything nor did he know what was wrong with my car dont let him trick you with his talking. Its hard to earn money now in days and he has to learn how to earn it not just rip people off.
Joe and the guys show a lot of patience, skill and experience with my car! They had to fix the problems caused by another highly reviewed Automotive Shop that claimed that they knew how to work on Subarus. But they failed miserably and L Japan Auto Service was about to correct the problems while keeping the bill at an afford price! Thank you Joe, Abby, and the rest of the team! I look forward to doing more business with you all in the future!
Joe has been a personal friend and family mechanic for over 10 years now. He maintains at least 8 vehicles for our family and is always prompt and fair. We will not consider taking our vehicles anywhere else. He treats our cars as though they were his personal vehicles.
Joe was a extremely professional technician and he let me know the details about my 2001 Infiniti Qx4. I use previous mechanics who did not perform a quality job. And Joe was able to diagnose the problem and fix the problem in a reasonable time. I will use Joe for future repairs. Thanks again L Japan Auto Service.
Joe is an excellent and honest mechanic. I took my 1989 4Runner to him with a very odd idle problem and Joe now has my 4Runner running better than it ever has in the year that Ive owned it.He takes a different and refreshing approach to fixing vehicles. Instead of throwing new expensive parts to make repairs like most like to do, he searches for the root of the problem. He had to refer to wiring diagrams and measure voltages to pin point the problem... A $27 dollar sensor. You pay more in diagnostic fees, but they leave you feeling completely satisfied knowing that no work was done that wasnt completely necessary. I have finally found my mechanic.
L-Japanauto Services was an excellent find. Needed to have AC checked on my 2013 Altima and google searched Nissan Repair Services in Greenville not wanting to go to a dealer. Drove up to a clean, well organized shop off of Blue Ridge in the Berea area. Mr. Lee recommended a full diagnostic evaluation which was money well spent. Rather than install a new compressor, the diagnostics directed his mechanics to cleaning the cabin air filters. However with the diagnostic check, he discovered some other Preventive Maintenance issues I needed done. So happy to have found Mr. Lee and his team at L-Japanauto Services.Taking my Subaru in for new Tires because he has the latest Balancing and Alignment equipment as well and all the proper lifts to safely work on your car. Highly recommend and so appreciate an honest well run business. BTW his pricing for Tires was better than Costco and others and he does the alignment which your foolish not doing upon investing in new tires.
Joe is the best, he truly takes pride in his work and it shows. I am comfortable taking my vehicle to him knowing that he will get it fixed and do it for a reasonable price.
Professional, Honest, Caring and They Do Amazing Work! GO TO L JAPAN! YOUR CAR WILL THANK YOU!
I didnt end up going in, but called to ask about getting the enclosure to my engines air filter replaced and the gentleman was super helpful. Since he would have to order the part, i went ahead and ordered it online to install myself, but he informed me that it was ok to drive the car while i waited for the part. Would definitely go here if i am ever back to this part of South Carolina.
Joe did a great job on my 2010 Scion Xb. I had an issue with my A/C unit. Two other garages gave me quotes of $1000 or more. Joe had it back to me in less than 5 hours at less than half that price. He kept in constant contact with me throughout the process of setting the appointment via email, and I paid through his easy online payment service. Needless to say, I will always take my car to Joe for service and advice going forward. Thanks Joe!
Joe is courteous and genuinely cares about your car. If he sees a repair that needs to be made, he will tell you, but he doesnt put on any kind of high-pressure sales to fix something that doesnt need to be fixed! I wont take my car anywhere else!
Great service! Professional and demonstrated genuine concern for our problem. I will be using their service for my highlander and Prius from now on.
Went in for a pre buy inspection. Joe was very genuine, and I felt like his opinion and advise were trustworthy. Great experience!
Excellent service on my 2007 Subaru Outback from Joe and he really is an excellent mechanic and deals with people well...I had some wheel bearing noise and he replaced the wheel bearing for me and that solved the problem...he communicated very well with me about what he was doing and how much it was going to cost which was fantastic...he assures you that hes gonna take care of your car and it is evident that he enjoys what he does and that he is very skilled in his work...no complaints whatsoever and would highly recommend him to anyone
They where able to find a sensor that other highly recommended shop could not. I use the for my 2009 Subaru Outback.
My family had a Honda, Acura RDX and a Toyota Highlander. We have been coming to L Japan for over 5 years. His shop is very clean you can eat on the floor, the service is friendly and great, and overall L Japan is just an amazing auto shop. My family and I will continue to go L Japan service, I highly recommend.
Sorry not a fan of this place, I read the reviews and decided this was the best place for my Subaru to get serviced (suspected head gasket and hesitation) 1000+ dollars later and the car still had the same problem, I was told the head gaskets are not the issue, I tried to start the car up with pressure build up in the coolant overflow tank spilling everywhere, the coolant is black now ..this is a classic sign of coolant leaking into compression chamber...NOW I am going to go with SUBI Doctors in Charleston SC...hopefully I will have better luck with them.....Update from 10/30/2017 I received a phone call from the owner on a Saturday morning, the owner claimed since the issue of the head gasket was not addressed it was not their fault. I told the gentleman that I wanted my head gasket replaced, he convinced me that it was not a head gasket issue on our first encounter, we did not resolve anything from the phone call and I was told that I made myself look like an idiot for posting this comment online, I was not having it, especially on my day off, so I wasted no more time and hung up, they will never get my business again. I live in Columbia and dont have the time to drive all the way to Greenville and not get results...I took it to Suby Doctors problem fixed!!
Great service Joe and Chris did an excellent job on my 2012 mitsubishi eclipse. I will tell all my friends and family about how great they are.
Hi, I have been going to ljapan for a couple of years now. As soon as I retired my 2002 Honda Civicof course died.. Joe was very detailed in his analyses and very specific on what it would cost... Joereally is sincere in wanting to give quality work and not doing anything that is not necessary.. I am very glad to have found someone I can trust and rely on to fix the problem and not just put a bandage on it .. OH by the way, Joe brought my car back to life and I appreciate his work....paul
Clean... neat...efficient...personal...timely...attention to detail...honest...reasonable ratesJoe has been our mechanic for 5 years, wouldnt think of going any where else.
Had problem and Joe suggested timing belt replacment. They replaced and truck did not run right. Took it back three times still not running right. Called and suggested bring it back amd change another part. Charging for checking a problem that was not there before they worked on it. Do not suggest amy major repairs to be done there. They are fine as long as they are charging you but you have a problem they do not stand behind their work. Recap on this review. Joe called me back later in the day and said he wanted to make it right. I said i would give him 1 more chance. He saw my review last night and called me back this morning. He was saying it was not his fault. I just want my truck fixed. He suggested a repair and I said ok and it has not run right since after taking it back three times. The last time I asked are you sure its ok and the reply was yes. So now he changed his mind and refused to fix it. Good customer service is proved not when things are going good but when things are going bad. I am disappointed I thought I had found a good shop but was mistaken
Have been using LJapan Auto Service for years great service and prices.
TOP-NOTCH HONEST SERVICE! SECOND TO NONE!I usually do not write reviews but this guy deserves it! He runs an HONEST auto repair shop that specializes in Japanese cars. I dont plan on taking my car anywhere else as long as I live in Greenville. It has taken me years to find an honest auto mechanic whos not trying to play me for a fool because Im a woman.Long story short, I have a 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe with 83,000 miles. I took it to the Nissan dealership to get an oil change and the mechanics told me I would need about $2,500 worth of upkeep and repair. So, of course, I searched for a second opinion. Thats when I found L Japan Auto Services (and Joe)! Joe runs an honest business that took care of me. Just to name one thing, the dealership said I would need to pay $600 to replace my faulty tire pressure indicators. Turns out, two of my tires were low. I just needed to fill them! I filled them before I moved to Greenville a few weeks ago. Its likely I just have a slow leak. In addition, Joe replaced my brakes AND left them out of the car so I could see why my brakes were making noise. He also showed me the belt that needed to be replaced. Furthermore, Joe squeezed me into his schedule because he knew I was driving 9 hours north and would need new brake pads and such before I left. He got back to me quickly and emailed/ texted me with updates and a fair listing of prices.Im so impressed with Joe that I really cant imagine taking my car anywhere else. He is a good man that takes care of his customers. Whens the last time you found an honest mechanic??
Very good customer service.
Great value and excellent service. Joe was a great help. I have an older car and went in for an oil change. Not only did he change my oil lickety split, but he actually brought me over, pointed out, and explained a few of the issues he noticed with my car. He even told me i could fix one problem, cheaply, by getting what i need at the auto parts store. I felt like joe was very knowledgable, and trustworthy. I think ive found my new mechanic. Thanks L-Japan for having such great service and mechanics like Joe.And they have free WiFi!
Thank you Joseph Lee for repairing my 2004 Toyota Highlander . It’s running in excellent condition.
They do great work
Terrible customer service. I called to set an appointment for diagnosis and repair and was told, (after being insulted) I dont want to work on your car because you already serviced yourself before.
Poor customer service. Joe does not stand behind his work.
Quality work done at a fair price!!!
