If you ever need your car serviced by a dealership, make sure its not this one. This dealership service department is the exact reason why no one trust dealership service department. They are inapt on the best day, overcharge, perform repairs unnecessary, and perform on authorized services.when I bought my car, it was brand-new and the windshield had a chip in it. They said they would fix it. They actually charged it to my insurance company.avoid this dealership at all costs and all their shady practices.

I need to have part of my radio replaced and although the part was ordered and has come in, I cannot schedule an appointment to get it replaced because they do not offer loaner vehicles. They do offer shuttle service but I work more than 10 miles away so they wont transport me to my place of employment. I cannot take off a day of work to have my car fixed. I am very disappointed.

I live in Atlanta and heard good things about this dealership, so I gave them a call and was connected to salesman Todd Smith. Todd was awesome. He was responsible but not pushy, and worked very hard to get us exactly what we wanted. They also gave me a very fair deal on my trade in. They drove the car down, free of charge, and picked up my trade in. They made it really easy. Most of all, they didnt extort me on the Palisade which local dealers are doing because its so popular. I highly recommend Todd. I also had a unique request that required me to speak to GM Roy. Roy listened and went above and beyond to meet my request. Im shocked at how responsive he was and just thoroughly impressed. I will recommend Todd and Roy and will buy from them again.

My wife and I bought a vehicle from there. It was being turned in on a lease. Being a low mileage car I didn’t think a thing about making the purchase. As things go, the car wasn’t cleaned when we purchased it. We were told to come back the following Tuesday. Aaand we did and left our car there. The detail guy left before we left it so the car washed, not detailed. We were told to bring it in a second time. Add to this the windows were to be tinted. On the second attempt the windows did get tinted but again nothing was cleaned. Instead we had a cleaning kit by “First Place Finish” left in the car that was unopened. So, when we got home I cleaned it MYSELF. It was complete with ketchup stains and dog hair from the previous owner. With COVID you would think sanitizing a vehicle would be a priority. Add to this I had to replace the wiper blades both front and rear. Never again will I buy at this dealership nor will I recommend them. I give them two stars. They only get that because it’s actually a great car. Don’t ever sign on the dotted line until everything promised is complete.

Not very impressed with the service department. When I called about my Sonatas extended warranty issue (clock spring). They said I would have to pay a $130 diagnostic fee and if they find out it is extended warranty-related they would waive the fee. Otherwise I would pay $130 plus the repair fee if there is any. Firs off all, if it is an extended warranty case you should not be charging anything. Basically, you guys are telling the customers; we dont have time to deal with you, go get your free repair done at somewhere else. I did....Then I called Hyundai of Greer and they did not request any upfront fee. They took care of the issue.

DO NOT USE SERVICES HERE.. Just spent about $1800 in December getting everything in my car updated, full diagnostics, and my car broke down a few days ago. Long story short, services told me theres nothing they can do, that my car should be fine, and theyre sorry about that... Im just disappointed that I have no leads as to why it broke down, no lights or sensors came on.UPDATE: It is complete engine failure and the entire motor has to be replaced. It is in another repair shop getting fixed. Everyone Ive spoken to just wants to sell me a new car instead of making this right.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR SERVICE. My mothers car has been in the service dept for going on 3 weeks now and supposedly she has been on the list for a loaner for 2 weeks. Isnt this a dealership filled with cars? The first estimate they gave her was $1350, then they said it was a different problem and the estimate went up. My mother had to get a loan from her bank to pay for the repair bc she lives on social security. Now the estimate has gone up again with more parts having to be ordered. The total they have given her now is over $3100 dollars, which she does not have. Her stress level is so elevated that she cant sleep so the dr had to prescribe her something to help her sleep, which she cant pick up from the pharmacy. Josh and Jason in the service department have given her the runaround for weeks and even the person at car shield said that Jason is difficult to deal with. They are trying to take advantage of my mother because she is older and a woman. NO WONDER THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU WONT GIVE THEM ACCREDITAION. This issue WILL be resolved today with them hearing from my lawyer. Roy Giliam, you should call me today. Overall we do feel we made a good purchase from good people.Sales and finance part is great, I bought a 2020 Santa fe at this location, the dealership in Greer was more expensive for some reasons...The finance guy was really helpful and did the extra thing to make the purchase more enjoyable. The salesman, Toni was really nice as well.On the backhand we had a little different after the purchase, probably because I think they were more focus about making a sale than listening to what I told them, so they kept saying no worry when we had to fix the issue later but the GM called and find a solution! very professional and we appreciate!

My car is almost 130x miles and the engine is gone inspite of doing all the services on time.. Hyundai Motors America denied my repair as the car was out of warranty (thats up 120 k miles).. now Im in limbo with a bad car that was very poorly made .. spare yourself and buy Nissian or Toyota.

I purchased a Hyundai Tucson on July 31st 2020. My sales person Matt was great and I love the vehicle thus far!! My problem is with the finance officer. After I accepted the offer, they had me sign a paper stating I accepted the offer. When I went to the finance office, the man in there was trying to get me to go with a company that offered a higher interest rate than what I was elgible for. (Its possible that they receive a kick back by using certain finance companies; not confirmed but its what I think.) After some back and forth and with the help of my sales person, I was able to get with a bank that offered a really good interest rate. My problem is, because my interest rate was so good, the man in the finance office increased the price that I negotiated. Yes, I signed it but he was fast talking and throwing papers at me (not literally) quickly to get me out the door. When I found out what was done, I contacted my finance company first to make sure it was no shady business on their end and it was confirmed, the shady business hanppened at the dealership: OF COURSE... When I called to obtain more info, of course they fed me a story about why the price increased and they are sure they told me about it; THEY DID NOT... If you choose to shop here, BE CAREFUL when you go into that finance office. Honestly, be careful with all dealerships because Im sure there are several more like him.

Great experience and no problem except the vibration I was experiencing was not present when the service man looked at it. The service lady said she felt it, but lt disapeard when in the shop.Nothing was found to be wrong.She said to return if vibration continues. We purchased Hyundai Sonata 2012, brand new and have had problems with it from the start but the people here have made dealing with the car less of a problem than it could have been. The service here is always fantastic. everyone is always kind and upfront with what needs to be done. The car is riding better, work was done in a timely manner There is a scrape on the passenger side of the bottom of my car though, but not 100% sure where it came from. The only issue I have with the service is how ridiculously expensive it is. Each time I come in it seems as if the prices of service gets higher and higher. .

I absolutely LOVE my Hyundai. And the dealership reflects how wonderful their vehicles are. They were willing to help with any questions I had and made sure my car was handled properly. They even called me to ensure I knew there was a delay and it wouldn’t be done in the time they previously stated. That mattered a lot to me. I recently had a baby so carrying a 3 month old around is difficult if they hadn’t called I would have gotten my baby in the car ready to go just to find out that my car wasn’t ready, but instead of that happening they kept me updated and made sure I understood what happened.

The easiest, no pressure auto purchase I ever made. Salesman Tod basically gave me the keys, told me to take the vehicle home and bring the check once I get it. My response was soooo you’re just going to let me take this truck home with me. He says yes go ahead. All of this was actually via phone and text. And once I arrived we completed paper work, 15 minutes tops and I was gone with this nice truck. I was in awe. Believe it or not that’s not the end, after receiving check from my bank I contact Tod and let him know I have the check and will be right down. This was on a Tuesday, he says no rush we can wait and get it (the check) this weekend. Again I question him like this is all too good to be true. My boyfriend and I went in Saturday to look for a new car for both of us. After a few test drives my boyfriend decided not to get a car but I was still interested. It took 2 hours for them to run my credit and my co signers credit. Our salesman Larry kept assuring us soon the financial guy was going to see us. At this point we had been there for 5 hours. We had somewhere to be at 8 which we told Larry. Finally we saw the financial guy. He was rude, curt and smelled like he just finished a cigarette break. When we were about to walk out of finance because we had to leave and the price wasn’t right for me; Larry became unpleasant and unprofessional towards my boyfriend when he asked for his keys back. Yes they were holding onto his keys til I signed the paperwork. When we asked to speak to a manager no one could direct us. When he finally did come all he said was he could take the $500 doc fee. This was the worst car dealership experience either one of us have had and will not be back nor will we recommend them to any friends or family

Great service! I had my car serviced by another Hyundai dealership and had a bad experience. They took 2 weeks to fix something that should have been fixed in 2 days. So I decided to take my car to this dealership instead when I had a recent issue with the steering in my Sonata. The drive was a little longer but I had decided I would never take my car to the other dealership. I honestly went in thinking my experience this time might not be much better. Wow! was I pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and informative and assured me that the car would be fixed the day they got the part. The car was done the day they received that part and the steering problem was fixed.

I’m giving this a 4-star review because the service I received met my expectations. It didn’t exceed them and didn’t “WOW!” me. The service was performed timely. Only had to wait about an hour for my first service on my new automobile. I was also one of, if not the, first service of the day.As someone who works from home full time, I need a customer waiting service area that is comfortable, clean, and allows me to complete work while I’m waiting. I brought my laptop, because I didn’t know how long the service would take. The service area’s waiting room was average. Nothing spectacular. A little dated, perhaps. Plenty of seating, a TV, magazines and all of the other things one would expect a waiting room to have. It had one desk for someone like me who had a laptop to sit at and do work, which was nice. There was free coffee (which I did not sample), free WiFi, and a free shuttle, if I wanted to return home. The waiting area was clean, but not inviting. It didn’t make me want to stay and work there, especially if I had a longer wait time. I’ve been in service areas at other Hyundai locations that were tastefully decorated and catered to a more professional clientele. I don’t recall if it had a vending machine with snacks or not.As far as customer service, it was average. I would have liked to be greeted by someone a little friendlier, but he did his job efficiently. Although, I must say that the form I was asked to fill out looked like it was photocopied repeatedly since the early 90’s. Might want to upgrade that form.Let me finish by saying there was nothing wrong or bad with the service I received. It just wasn’t “over-the-top” quality for me to give it a 5-star. Would I go again? Absolutely.

Full disclosure - I didn’t have a great overall experience with Hyundai as a brand (my Santa Fe was repurchased by Hyundai). However, the folks in the Service department at Dick Smith Hyundai did everything they possibly could for me from the start. They attempted to fix my issues multiple times, and were always great about communicating updates to me and offering to help me deal with Hyundai corporate. 100% professional in every way, and I can’t say enough good things about everyone there. This dealer sold a car to my father who is a vulnerable adult and could not make sound decisions even though they were informed of his mental state by deferent family members prior to the sale. 5 days after the sale, he was committed to a facility. After the fact when speaking with the dealer’s manager, he didn’t want to hear our family’s concern, and told us to leave. Very immoral and ethically challenged dealership. This was the worst experience that I have ever had with a car dealer while looking to purchase a vehicle. I will never set foot on that property again after being berated by the sales manager for basically doing my homework and trying to get the best deal. His attitude and unprofessional treatment continued as he tried to bully us into buying their vehicle, with false statements on when Hyundais incentives ended and how the other dealer with a better offer would charge me hidden fees in a vain attempt to pressure us into buying their vehicle, even though I had a written quote in hand.

Ive had minor repairs under warranty completed here. No problems with warranty approval and the repairs solved the issues.Agents are always courteous, have given rides after drop off and to pick up, and they will wash the exterior of your car with every service.

Chris totally understands customer service. He’s ensured that my concerns were quickly resolved and I have overheard him do the same with many other customers. I do however believe that this dealership management/ownership needs to take better pride in their facilities. Other dealerships in this area are much nicer, customer focused and cleaner...

Like most dealerships they always try to get you to get extra stuff done to your car that’s not needed & they’re way over priced, even though my car came with free services they still try to get me to pay. The workers all look like they hate their jobs every time I went there. Very poor business in all aspects. They’re not getting anymore business from me.

I have not purchased a new car from here but I take my Hyundai here for service and the people are very nice and helpful. Obviously it is a dealer so prices are more expensive (genuine OEM parts, etc.) than a local shop. However, the service is worth it IMO. They don’t seem to BS you like some car dealers!
