Excellent experience. Went in with a rock chip in my windshield. They had me in and out in half an hour with a repaired windshield and a $59 bill. Very reasonable price and extremely courteous staff. Highly recommend

Today I paid out-of-pocket $59 to have a single rock chip repaired. As I drove home, the chip looked as bad as it had before the repair. The chip was located in the middle of the windshield of our Toyota Tundra. When I got home I got out a stepstool and felt an obvious irregular cavity where they had allegedly done the repair. I had to bring the vehicle back in to have them grudgingly redo the repair. Interestingly, the repair that initially took 20 minutes was done in 5 minutes. The repair technician said sometimes the repair compound falls out when the tape is removed, and that had apparently happened in my case. Youd think that the technician would check to be sure the repair held before the customer drives away. That is basic quality control. If I hadnt been vigilant and checked the repair myself, Id have found out about their shoddy work this winter when my windshield cracked. There was no apology, and I wasted the better part of a morning. The chip looks nearly as bad as it did before the repair, but now at least the glass feels smooth. Well never go back!

Had them fix a windshield now camera is sitting on dash and the windshield now squeaks when hitting any kind of bump in road.

Disappointing- dropped off Saturday morning at opening, and 3 hours later nothing had been done. I know theres only one technician, but somehow I got bumped from second in line to theres a few cars ahead of you. No apologies or explanations, brusque front desk person (Maam, Ive explained to you... Maam, thats why you drop it off....) I have little availability from work and now have to try again. Wasted a morning sitting in a lobby for nothing. Will shop around for someplace else.

I came in for a quote for shelving and no one there was masked up. When I asked why they needed PERSONAL INFORMATION for a quote, the window “lady” became extremely condescending. I work in a federal capacity and do not randomly give out information.One guy tried to confuse me by depth vs.width....soooo unprofessional.These ppl were so unprofessional, I would never recommend this place, ever.

In September of 2019 I received a rock chip on the windshield of my 2018 Chevy pick up. I arranged through my insurance to have Glass Doctor in Great Falls Mt to do the chip repair work. I made an 8:00 am appointment and arrived that day promptly on time. The glass repair tech took the truck inside soon after arriving. The worker in the office had major difficulties figuring out how to complete the paperwork and process everything through their computer system. It took over an hour to get it completed. The guy up front (owner/manager) was no help and was on the phone with someone and more concerned about getting the tires rotated on his Corvette. He at least took the time to help the other person figure out how to print a receipt out in the printer after he spent another 10 minutes not knowing how to get it to work. Total time was an hour and a half with me being the only one in there. The work was done but not all of the chip was filled in which was obvious from looking through the inside. In December with the first cold snap the cracks went all the way across the windshield. Their warranty policy states they will refund the repair amount back to the insurance company. Now I am stuck replacing the windshield out of pocket since a claim had already been made for that incident. It appeared it was mostly new help and the manager/owner really didnt want to be bothered training them properly. Go to a different place where they actually know what they are doing and actually care about the customer.

Didnt bother putting the clips in to hold my windshield in place. This caused my windshield to rattle. Had I not taken my pickup to Safelite, my windshield may have come out while driving down the interstate. Not to mention they broke my hood cowl and the tint reflector on my rear view mirror. They didnt even put my radio antenna back on! Plus they left tools on top of my cab, scratching the paint. Even left glass on the floor board. Do not recommend them at all.

I was told my rock chip wasnt filling after only being there for maybe 5 minutes. Then I was asked to help the technician back my car out of the shop. I thought that was odd, so as I was backing out I realized he had my car on a jack because he had to lift the front end off of the big lift that he drove it on and my vehicle bottomed out.

We were on vacation and had gotten 2 chips in our windshield. We were about to head home so we decided to try to have them fixed. Glass Dr. got us right in! They had our chips fixed in 20 minutes and we were on our way. Everyone was masked and careful to keep their distance and sanitize also. It was a very good choice to go to Glass Doctor.

I was heading out of town for work and unfortunately had my windshield break. I drove over to Glass Doctor and they had the windshield in stock and got me in right away since I was in a hurry. Great service everytime!

Ray took the time to find a back glass for my Pontiac. He had to go get it out of a Savage yard. Then they had it in my car in a jiffy. Even when it was Sub-Zero temps outside. And cheaper than I could find anywhere else. Two thumbs way up!!!

We had a side window on our rv implode while on the road. NO one was able to help us until we spoke with Ray. He had us replaced with new glass almost immediately and reasonably priced. He went through all options and we gladly took his advice which saved us quite a bit of money. Great guys! The price quoted for our shower door was much less than competitors- and they got the job done quickly and with great results. We love our new shower door.

I am happy that they were able to replace my windshield but they didnt clean the window after it was installed, they broke all of the little clips that hold the windshield wiper solution dispensers so fluid will never get to my windshield and they didnt put the wipers on correctly so they broke the plastic that holds them on to the arms and I had to have someone else fix how high my wipers cleaned my window.

Travelling through Montana and caught a lot of gravel which did a number on my windshield. Called Glass Doctor late in the afternoon, explained the situation and they assured me theyd be able to fit me in before closing. True to their word they replaced my windshield and did a great job. Thanks!!

From scheduling to service, good experience.

Ray is a nice guy and I hope that this is not too harsh. He did a shower stall glass install for us this year and it didnt turn out as good as we had hoped. Issues with the door and the glass panel lining up (1/8 inch discrepancy), door reveal on the hinge side was 5/8 difference (wall and curb are level),and caulk job was less than desirable with gaps and globs (leaks around brackets and under the door). They came back three times to get it right but it still is not right. Guess the moral of the story is dont always go with the cheapest place.

Used to live here but was traveling from out of state and got a rock chip. I called and they told me to come in and they will take care of us in 20min. Also they mention no charge because of USAA. Excellent service will recommend anyone with a rock chip to use these guys.

Traveling from Ohio out west to Glacier NP when stone came flying off a truck and cracked severally the passenger side of the windshield. Got to Great a Falls on US 87 and there, low and behold was a Glass Doctor. Told them my story, needed to get to Shelby that afternoon, they were quite busy but talked to some patrons who let me go ahead of them. Horrible experience. This business is now staffing Helena branch. I was given morning appt, drove one hour to get here. No one from Glass Doctor showed up. NO one told me that I was expected to leave the car for the whole day for a windshield change-----apparently so that they can arrive whenever during the day. The call operators act very cheerful, give u a great estimate, easy to schedule but it doesnt matter when no one shows up for the actual work. Go somewhere else.
